Chapter THIRTY-TWO: An Outsider Comes to Visit

After the group of three left the Jolly Roger, they went back to the shop, where the Professor put his enchanted love heart made of ice back in Mr Gold's safe, and – to stop anymore break-in's to the safe – Mr Gold enchanted the safe with blood magic, so no one will never ever break into the safe again. Or so he thought at the time.

Afterwards, they all got ready for their trip to the outside world, and later that very night, they got in Mr Gold's car, and drove to the town line. Mr Gold was in the driver's seat, Belle in the passenger seat and the Professor in the back seat. Once the car came to a stop, Mr Gold turned to face Belle and the Professor leaned his arms on the front seats.

"This would have been lost, if it wasn't for you two," Mr Gold said, holding Baelfire's shawl in front of him. "I would've been lost."

"We had to try, Rumple," the Professor said. "Belle and I, we care for you. And dad. And besides, I had to get the heart back."

Mr Gold smiled. It warmed him every time when either Belle, the Professor, and even the Doctor said something along those lines. "After everything you've learned about me, Belle, after everything I've done, why haven't you given up on me?"

"Like what the Professor said, I care for you. And love you. With all my heart," Belle said. "And, I learned a long time ago, that when you find something that's worth fighting for, you never give up."

They all smiled again, and exited the car, going up to the town line. The Professor crossed it first, and turned around to face them. "Ready when you are," the Professor said.

Mr Gold took the potion bottle out of his pocket, opening it, and throwing away the lid, before pouring the potion onto the shawl, blue electricity-like magic running through it, before Belle placed the shawl over Mr Gold's shoulders.

"Okay," Belle said.

"Here we go," Mr Gold said, crossing the town line, the same blue electricity-like magic running across him. The Professor and Belle both looked on nervously, both wondering if it worked. Mr Gold turned around and, with a slight smile, said, "Belle."

"It worked," Belle said, happily.

"Indeed it did," the Professor said.

"Now we can go off to find your son. And to pay our respects to Amy and Rory," Belle said.

Mr Gold smiled. "Now your turn."

Belle started to walk across the line, when there was a gunshot. Hook had gotten out of his rock form and had followed them to the line, waiting for the right time to fire it. Which he had. At Belle. The bullet hit her and forcefully pushed her over the town line, into the Professor and Mr Gold's arms.

The Professor waved his hand over Belle's face, making her sleep. "I hope that fights the town line's magic..."

"What do you mean?" Mr Gold asked. "She'll remember me? Us?"

The Professor shook his head. "The force at which she went over...It was too much for the ring." He took his phone out and dialled the Doctor. "Dad, it's me. Something's happened at the town line. I need you hear. And bring Vastra, Jenny and Strax."

While the Professor was on the phone, Mr Gold was in grief over Belle. "Oh, no. No, no!"

"Oh, fear not, she'll live. She'll just have no idea who you are," Hook called out.

Mr Gold looked up, fighting tears. "What you have done cannot be undone!"

"Well, now you finally know how it feels! Well, go ahead, Crocodile, do your worst!"

Mr Gold stood up, after helping the Professor move the unconscious Belle over the town line, to the Storybrooke side. "Oh, I intend to." He magically summoned a ball of fire and ready to launch it at Hook as the metallic thrumming of the TARDIS filled the air. As soon as Mr Gold was gonna throe the fireball at Hook, he heard a car approach behind them. He turned around and helped the Professor move Belle out of the way. The car drove past them at a great speed, and going past the TARDIS, which had the Doctor standing in the doorway, and hit Hook, making him fly over the car itself, before spinning out of control and stopping in a ditch. The Doctor, the Professor and Mr Gold all looked up at the car, looking at the license plate number, which sported the word Pennsylvania on it.
