CHAPTER 34 - VISITATION
Mamoru´s apartment
Mamoru was in utter shock. As if he had just seen a ghost.
"You don´t look that good, do you" the pink-haired girl said. It was not a question really.
Mamoru was so stunned he couldn´t even answer or react in any way. That pretty girl in front of him was ChibiUsa, he was sure about that. But she had changed. She now looked older, like if she was now about the age that Usagi had when he had first met her. Her bright pink pigtails were longer, reaching already the length of her hips, and slightly less fluffy. She was wearing a cute red t-shirt with ribbons along its neck and a denim mini-skirt. She looked more mature, tall and slim. More like a woman. A very beautiful woman.
"So are you going to invite me in or what?" she said
That made Mamoru react finally, and he stepped to one side without saying a word.
"Thanks" she simply added.
ChibiUsa walked inside his apartment and sat on the coach naturally, as if that was her own house, as if it was so normal she was there.
Mamoru followed her like a specter, and sat on a chair in front of her.
"It´s been a long time!" she started, addressing him a cute smile "What, aren´t you going to say anything? Aren´t you happy to see me?"
"O…Of course!" he answered finally "But I…. I don´t understand… What are you doing here?"
"Am I bothering you?"
"Not at all!" he rushed to answer "I meant… How is it possible that you are here? Because… Usa-ko and I… well… we… we are not…"
"You are not together anymore?" she ended his sentence "And so then I should not be existing, right?"
Mamoru nodded speechlessly.
"Yeah, right… it´s THAT past still, I´ve arrived on time"
"Huh?"
"Mamo-chan… I´ve come to explain everything to you" she said, leaning forward, closer to him "But first, we need you back to your normal self. I need you to react and snap out of this absurd state you´ve gotten into. The senshi need your help. The World needs its King. Go shower and shave… there´s lots I have to tell you about"
Hikawa shrine
Later that evening, the girls had joined Oodachi and the Starlights in the main room, and were chatting lively. Even Makoto was there, fully awake and looking good and recovered. Her friends had updated her with everything that had been going on, making lots of thoughts cross her mind.
The first one was the sorrow she still felt. She had loved Kyuu very much, and she had been cruelly betrayed by him. It was really difficult to get over that, and she sensed it will take her some more time. On the other hand, even if she had not succeeded in love, hearing how all the senshi and the Starlights and even Rei´s Rider had risked their lifes in order to bring her back to life made her feel the most fortunate girl in the World. She did have love in her life. The invaluable love her fantastic friends had for her. And there were also those new sensations she was experimenting towards Motoki… the girls had told her that he kissed her in order to wake her up, and that had shocked her deeply. If he had agreed to kiss her, did that mean he felt something for her? She had always had feelings for the blonde cute arcade boy, but since he had been dating his now ex-girlfriend for almost all the time she had known him, she had buried those feelings deep in her, not paying attention to them in order not to suffer. Now, they were out again. They had kissed and that was a huge and very important step for her. That had been her first kiss. Although… she did not remember anything about it.
Motoki had left soon after he had helped waking Makoto up, so the brown-haired senshi had not had the chance to talk to him anymore. And she was eager to do so, even though she did not have a clue about what she was going to tell him. Meanwhile, she just dedicated herself to talking with her friends and making up for lost time.
"Usagi-chan, are you feeling fine?" asked Ami, seeing how the shine in her friend´s eyes was getting dimmer every minute.
"Huummm" she sighed "I´m… a little worried for Haruka-san and the rest of them"
"They´ll be fine, don´t worry" soothed Minako "Those two are really strong, and Galaxia and Saturn too! There´s nothing to fear"
"You think so?"
"Of course!" said Minako cheerfully "There´s no reason to worry at all!"
Her liveliness and conviction made Usagi smile "Yeah… you´re right" she said.
From a distance, Yaten, who was distractedly reading a book, smiled subtly at Minako´s comment. Under all those layers of craziness and loudness, the blonde was truly a kind and caring person.
"Here they come!" said Rei suddenly, who was sitting beside a window, leaning sweetly over Oodachi. They hardly ever separated now.
Usagi stood up in a spring and ran to the door.
"GIRLS!" she yelled, hugging the little Hotaru strongly
"Usagi-san…!" she exclaimed, caught by surprise by her effusiveness.
"Are you all fine? I´m so glaaad!" said the princess, looking at the four ladies.
"Yes, everything went good" confirmed Haruka
"Galaxia-sama" greeted Taiki and Yaten, walking towards the newcomers and bowing before their queen, making her smile elegantly.
"It´s good to be back with you all" she said, her eyes directed at Seiya, who also smiled.
"Welcome back, we were waiting for you" he answered to her mother with a charming smile.
"Please, come on in and sit! I´ll go get you something to drink" said Rei, disappearing towards the kitchen, followed by Oodachi.
"Thank you" said Galaxia, sitting down while following with her sight the new couple going to the kitchen.
"So, how did it go?" asked Ami, always eager to know
"It went good, we easily found Saturn and Galaxia with the help of my mirror, and Apocalypse was so busy confronting them that he did not see us coming, so we had time to slip into Saturn´s shield and inform them about what had happened. After that, Galaxia-san took us out of there with her teleporting powers" explained Michiru
"That´s great… And what about the battle with Apocalypse?" asked Usagi
"Well, Hotaru and I have weakened a lot Apocalypse´s defenses, and have found about some important information that can be useful and vital to find a way to finally vanquish him for good"
"That´s such great news…" said Taiki, proud of his Queen.
"Yes… we are now all worn out and tired, but we can start dealing with it tomorrow, if it is fine for you all"
"Of course" said Ami "I´m going to miss my computer for this, though"
"Yes… I am terribly sorry about that" said Taiki, remembering it had been him who had destroyed it when he had been brainwashed by the enemy.
"You needn´t" she said, blushing "It was not your doing but the enemy´s"
Taiki smiled. She was really kind and comprehensive.
"So, should we call it a day and go to rest?" asked Michiru
"Yes, that´s a great idea!" said Ami "That way we´ll be fresh tomorrow early to start investigating!"
"AAhhhh…." Protested Minako "I´m getting tired just by hearing it!" They all laughed at her comment, and disappeared through the corridors to start arranging themselves in the different rooms for the night.
"Galaxia" called Haruka before the Star Queen went out of the shrine´s main room, where only she, Michiru and Hotaru remained.
Galaxia gracefully turned around to face them with a serene expression in her face.
"What about… what you and Hotaru told us you had discovered" Haruka started
Hotaru hugged Michiru looking for reassurance. It was an unpleasant and delicate issue.
"Aren´t you going to tell the girls about it?" asked Michiru, passing her arm through the younger senshi´s arm.
"Yes, I will have to eventually. We need to do something about it or vanquishing Apocalypse will be impossible. But… it is a very tough issue. I have observed them today, and they seem to be completely in love"
"Yes…" confirmed Michiru
"Koneko-chan is not going to agree to it" said Haruka
"We will have to make her understand. Sometimes tough decisions need to be made for the greater Good"
"You don´t know her…" said Haruka "She´s never going to accept it"
"We will explain the situation to her. Tomorrow." said Galaxia "For the moment, act naturally. And please do not say anything to the Fire senshi"
"Ok…" confirmed the three girls, sorrow visible in their eyes.
For that night, which included new members in the big shrine family, they rearranged the rooms again.
"Ok, you boys will get your usual room, and Galaxia can take the small one for herself" started Rei
"Thank you, Rei-san" said Galaxia "Good night" she added, and then disappeared inside her room.
"You girls can take mine, which is the biggest, and you can sleep there with Hotaru-chan"
"Wait, the five of us on those two mattresses on the floor?" protested Minako
"No, the four of you" corrected Rei
"Four?" said Ami
"Yes, I´ll be sleeping with Oodachi in the two bed bedroom, and Haruka-san and Michiru-san can share the big bed on the bedroom at the end of the corridor"
"Wait… WHAT?" said Minako "You are going to sleep with him?"
Rei blushed.
"Hey! You randy Minako! One on each bed! We are not that far in our relationship yet!"
"You sure?!"
"Of course I´m sure!"
"Ahhh! You smart little girl…! You seem like the less interested but you are the sassiest! What are you two going to do there, sleeping in the same room? Ehee?!" she said, elbowing Rei.
"Minako, please!" she protested, blushing deeply
"Ok, ok! Let´s go SLEEP then!" she said, emphasizing the word, which made Rei sweatdrop with desperation.
Michiru giggled at the situation with the younger girls while getting into her room, followed by Haruka.
"Those girls are really amusing" she said, hugging Haruka sweetly as soon as they were alone.
Haruka smiled.
"Nee… Haruka… I´m worried about what Galaxia told us about Apocalypse… I don´t see any good solution to it…" she said
"Yes, me too" said Haruka, caressing her turquoise wavy hair "I´m positive Koneko-chan is never going to agree to that, and she will start acting recklessly again to avoid it, as she always does"
"Sure she will. But we will support her and protect her no matter what"
"Yes… we will"
"Well, let´s deal with that tomorrow and rest for now. I am really longing to sleep calmly by your side for one night…"
Both girls got in bed, and said good night to each other with a soft kiss. Then, Michiru turned off the light.
As soon as she did, her lover´s voice was heard.
"You hugged him…"
Michiru smiled in the darkness, knowing perfectly what she was talking about. She was expecting some comment about her moment with Seiya during their last battle sooner or later.
"You mean her… she was a woman at the moment" answered Michiru calmly
"I don´t really care… you hugged that person"
"I thought you were great friends now"
"I wouldn´t say as much, but… I don´t like you hugging any other people…and maybe… especially not HIM"
"I was not hugging anyone. I only placed my body on top of hers in order to prevent you from killing her. I supposed you would not hesitate much on attacking her being as you were under mind control, but maybe you still did if it was me instead. And it seemed to work, did it?"
"Hmmm" grumbled "Well, don´t ever do that again"
"Fine… Don´t ever try to kill us all again"
Another grumble.
"Ok, it´s a deal" Haruka said finally
Michiru giggled.
"What is it now? I´m being serious here!" protested Haruka, annoyed
"You got jealous. How sweet."
Haruka frowned even deeper.
"I love you. Only you. Forever" said Michiru sweetly, and sitting up, she reached for her lover´s lips who received hers eagerly, both girls melting together in a deep passionate kiss.
Outside their room, in the corridor, Minako was returning to her room from the toilet. She had not turned on any lights in order not to bother anyone. She did not need to, since she already knew her way through the shrine even in the dim light of the Moon coming through the windows.
"Minako" a soft voice called her suddenly from a non-illuminated corner
The blonde jumped in surprise.
"Yaten!" whispered strongly Minako "Is that you? What are you doing there hiding in the shadows, you almost caused me a heart attack!"
"Do you have a minute?" he said, starting to walk through the corridor, not even waiting for an answer.
"I… guess so…" she answered, sweatdropping at Yaten´s self importance.
Yaten stopped finally in the kitchen, where he was sure there was no one else around.
Minako noticed this. She was alone with him, lights off and wearing only her pyjamas. She got slightly nervous and couldn´t help blushing. Fortunately, the lack of light will hide this fact from him, she thought.
"Wha… what do you want?" she asked, trying to hide her uneasiness
"Well, I…" Yaten started, looking down "I wanted to tell you I am sorry about attacking you during the battle" he said, with a voice so faint it was impossible to hear
"Excuse me?" said Minako
"I´m sorry, ok?! I´M SORRY!" repeated Yaten, too loudly now.
"Yaten…" muttered the blonde.
So that was it, he wanted to apologize. Minako couldn´t help feeling a little deception, since her mind had already started imagining all kind of heated up romantic scenes taking place between them. Nevertheless, what had happened was even more important and unique… She didn´t expect anything like that at all coming from him... Was it the first time she had heard HIM apologizing? She thought so…And he was apologizing to her! She was so surprised she could barely react.
"No… there´s no need! I absolutely do not blame you for any of that, it was not your fault, you were not yourself!" she finally said
"Well, just wanted to say it to you" said Yaten, passing beside Minako towards the kitchen´s door to return to his room.
"Wait!" said suddenly Minako. It just bursted out of her. She did not know why she had stopped him…
Yaten stopped and turned around.
"What is it?"
"I… I don´t know…"
"Huh? Minako you are so dense…"
"No, it´s just that…"
"That?"
"I don´t want you to leave…"
Yaten´s whole ever-frowning facial expression suddenly relaxed. His green emerald eyes turned soft when he looked at the moonlight bathed beautiful blonde he had in front of her. She looked truly stunning, her hair completely loose and shining golden where it reflected the Moon, her sky-blue eyes piercing him with her sweet longing glance, her perfect body contours outlined by the scarce light…
He walked towards her the two steps that separated them, until he was so close their bodies were almost touching. Minako blushed deeper. The silver haired man was such a mystery for her that she could never tell how he was going to react.
"How can you be both so troublesome and so fascinating, huh?" he suddenly said, in the sexiest whisper she had ever heard.
"Wha…?" she started, but couldn´t end her sentence.
Yaten had grabbed her from the back of her head and had pushed her forward until their lips were in deep contact. He started kissing her passionately, with the eagerness of the thirsty that has just found a spring. His fingers tangled wildly with her long soft hair while he never stopped kissing her. He dragged her closer to him with his free hand, pushing her back so their bodies were fully pressed together. Minako was flushing wildly, her heart racing out of control and enjoying every second of it, every breath of his scent, every taste of his lips. She responded greedily to his effusive kiss, deepening it until they were both panting with pleasure.
Slowly, they backed up just a little, while they didn´t stop looking with desire at each other´s eyes.
Yaten raised his hand and sweetly tucked a strand of her long hair behind her ear.
"Good night, Love senshi" he just said, turned around and left.
Minako was left in the middle of the kitchen, alone, stunned and with her legs still trembling because of the amazing kiss. That moment with him had surpassed her wildest dreams. Walking like a zombie or a daydreamer, she exited the shrine through the kitchen's back door in search of fresh air.
As soon as she found herself outside, she screamed like crazy in the middle of the night.
"What the hell was that?" asked Seiya upon hearing a loud scream through the window, while he was getting ready to go to bed.
"No idea…" said Yaten, who had just arrived, closing the boy´s room door behind him and looking down in order for his brothers not to notice his flushed cheeks.
"Wasn´t it Minako´s voice?" said Taiki
"Yes… either her or a run over cat… Should we go check on her?" said Seiya
"She probably is just fine… you know how noisy she can get… so don´t bother" commented Yaten distractedly, avoiding the puzzled glances his brothers were directing at him.
Seiya rose an eyebrow and looked at Taiki, who shrugged.
"By the way… where are you coming from?" he asked
"Hummm… nowhere" answered Yaten evasively "Good night" he suddenly said, getting in bed and turning his back to them, head under the sheets.
"I tell you Taiki… stranger than a pink gorilla" said Seiya, loud enough for Yaten to hear.
The next morning, everyone had gathered in the main room, ready to talk about their enemy and how to vanquish him. Nevertheless, they would have never expected the interruption about to happen…
"Good morning, Minako" said Yaten casually with a playful half smile when passing across the blonde, who was already sitting down with the girls.
"Mo… morning…" she replied, blushing deeply.
Makoto raised an eyebrow. It was not usual at all to see her very daring and shameless friend blushing.
"Have I missed something?" she asked her, in a whisper
Minako looked at Makoto wide-eyed, blushing even more, if still possible.
"Nothing!"
Their conversation was interrupted by Ami and Taiki, who instituted order and organized the group as always.
"Well, we all know what the situation is now…" started Taiki "So that means we have to make several important decisions, the first one being…"
"Wait, where´s Usagi-chan?" interrupted Minako, noticing she was not in the room.
"Probably still in bed" said Seiya, smiling
They all sweatdropped. Typical of her, to be late to all the important meetings.
"I can go wake her up if you want…" proposed Seiya with a teasing smile that made Haruka frown and Michiru giggle.
Before anyone could answer, a galloping sound was heard along the corridor.
"I´m SORRRYYYYYYYY….!" yelled Usagi, bursting into the main room, still arranging her hair.
"AAhhh… some things never change!" commented Rei, moving her hand to her forehead with embarrassment. She was sitting right next to Oodachi, holding his hand.
"Usagi-chan… please… take a seat… we just started" said Ami, sweatdropping.
"Come with me, Odango!" called Seiya, signaling a spot right next to him. Usagi obeyed happily and skipped towards her love.
"I´m sorry…" she muttered when she sat down.
Taiki cleared his throat and continued "Ok, as I was trying to say… we have to make some very important decisions this morning regarding our enemy and our combat strategy. Queen Galaxia-sama has informed us that she has some very important information that she and Hotaru-san found out about Apocalypse during our last battle and that they need to share with us, so let´s…"
Taiki´s speech was interrupted again by a knock on the door.
"What is it now…?!" he said, starting to get pissed off, which made Ami giggle.
Rei stood up, tense.
"I… I am not expecting any visits…" she said. Immediately, Oodachi stood up beside her.
Everyone looked at her with tense expectant eyes.
"I´ll go see who it is" she announced
"Let me go with you…" Oodachi said
"No, thank you" she smiled "It´s fine… and if it is something non-magical, perhaps it´s better for me to go by myself. It´s just a few steps away, I´ll call you all if I´m in trouble"
"Ok" said Ami, agreeing with her reasoning.
Everyone remained in absolute silence while they watched Rei leave the room and disappear. Usagi´s eyes shone with worry, but was relieved when she felt Seiya´s hand grabbing her in reassurance. She looked at him, at his always smiling eyes that told her without words that everything was going to be fine, and she had no option but to believe them.
No sound at all was heard.
"Something´s not going good, I can´t hear Rei-chan" announced Makoto
Everyone was starting to stand up, grabbing their corresponding transformation staffs when suddenly, Rei appeared at the door.
"Rei-chan!" they all exclaimed.
She was paler than a ghost. As if she had just seen one.
"What… what´s wrong?" asked Minako
"We… we have a visit…" she said, stuttering and with a tiny thread of voice.
"A visit?" asked Usagi, puzzled
The next instant, someone appeared at the room´s entrance, behind Rei.
All the girls froze in shock.
Taiki, Yaten, Seiya, Galaxia and Oodachi looked at each other and at the girls' reaction, not knowing what was happening.
"What´s… going on?" asked Yaten "Who´s this girl?"
Hotaru was the first to react.
"CHIBIUSA-CHAAAAN!" she screamed with utter happiness while running towards her and hugging her so tight that she almost pushed her to the floor.
"Hotaru-chan!" responded the pink-haired visitor with a musical acute voice full of joy, while hugging her back.
Usagi covered her lips with her hand in astonishment. Tears had formed in her eyes and were now slipping through her flushed cheeks.
"O… Odango?" asked Seiya, upon noticing her reaction.
"Is… is this… real?" she muttered softly "Is she really here?" she repeated "She´s here! She´s fine! She´s alive! CHIBIUSAAAAAA!" she screamed, running towards her as well, and hugging her so tight she raised her up from the floor a few centimeters.
"AAAAHHH USAGIII! You are going to choke me!" protested the younger one playfully.
"CHIBIUSA! CHIBIUSA! CHIBIUSA!" she repeated once and again, kissing her all over her face and her hair "I was so worried for youuuuuuu!" she howled, crying "I am so glad you are fine and you are here…!"
ChibiUsa managed to free herself from the effusive Usagi, and looked at her with shiny eyes and and a sincere smile.
"Still a crybaby as always!" she just said, making Usagi pout.
Seiya sweatdropped. Who was that girl that came here making a ruckus and teasing Usagi like that?!
"HEEY!" protested Usagi "I am NOT! Who´s the baby here…?" she started, but then she looked closer at the girl in front of her, who was almost her height "Oi! Wait a minute… you… you are taller! You… you´ve grown!"
"EEEEEEEEEEHHHHH?!" all the girls yelled in unison, coming closer to the young visitant.
They all started greeting her and telling her how pretty she looked and asking her about her relatives and about her growing and about her visit and about so many things that they did not even leave her time to answer. The shrine had turned into a loud madhouse.
"Hey, can someone explain us what´s going on?" asked Yaten, but his voice was not heard at all over the racket. "HEY, Hello?!" he said, louder, but no one seemed to notice him "HEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEY!" he yelled with all his strength.
They all suddenly shut up and turned to look at the white-haired boy with surprise.
He cleared his throat, casually combed his side-bangs and said with a much softer and elegant voice "Could someone please explain us what´s going on?"
Usagi blushed, looking at Seiya.
"Of course…" she said, going towards him "Seiya, boys…" she started, like an announcement "This is ChibiUsa, my future daughter"
ChibiUsa blushed.
Taiki and Yaten´s jaws dropped in surprise. Seiya´s eyes opened wide, while he couldn´t avoid flushing deeply. He suddenly felt ashamed in her presence. That was his lover´s daughter with her ex-boyfriend…!
"ChibiUsa, these are Taiki, Yaten and Seiya. They are very good friends, and senshi, like us" introduced Usagi.
"Nice to meet you" said ChibiUsa, elegantly bowing before them.
"The lady there is Galaxia, the Queen of the Kingdom of the Stars" continued now Ami "And this man here is… well, he is…"
"He´s my boyfriend" interrupted Rei
"Oh!" said ChibiUsa, smiling "He´s cute!"
"CHIBIUSA!" scolded Usagi "You are too young for that…!"
"I am NOT anymore, stop treating me like a baby!"
"Yeaaaah that´s right… And how´s that possible?"
"That´s true! Hadn´t your growing suddenly stopped for unknown reasons decades ago?" asked Ami, also really curious.
"Yeah! And how come it is possible for you to be here? Did Pluto manage to save you from disappearing?" asked Minako.
Haruka and Michiru looked at each other with surprise. According to what Setsuna herself had told them, that was not possible, was it?
"Minako-chan!" scolded Rei "She might not know anything yet about… that…" she added, murmuring between her teeth.
"Well" said ChibiUsa "She did not exactly save me, she just called me for help… I did not really needed to be saved…"
"You… you did not?" asked Usagi, really puzzled. She did not understand a thing.
ChibiUsa smiled teasingly.
"Yeah… there´s lots I have to tell you… much has changed…"
Crown´s Fruit Parlor
"Hey, Motoki-kun, be careful!" said Motoki´s boss for the hundredth time that morning.
"Oops, I´m terribly sorry!" he apologized, arranging in place again the pile of glasses he had pushed accidentally with his elbow while passing by.
"What´s with you today? Did you enjoy your days off too much and now you´ve forgotten all about being a waiter?! HAHAHAA!" he laughed exaggeratedly, which made Motoki sweatdrop.
"Ehehehe…" he faked a laugh "I´m fine, I´m… oh! A customer!" he said, taking the chance to move away from him and the uncomfortable conversation.
The truth was that Motoki had been acting strange all morning. He walked absent-mindedly from place to place, not paying real attention to what he was doing, his thoughts visibly elsewhere. He was not himself since he returned from his days at the shrine. Many things had changed. In fact, everything had. He had now became aware of all the magic and supernatural events going on around him that he had been oblivious to until then. There was evil that wanted to harm mankind and the good people living in it, and there were also brave warriors that fought to save them all, without them even knowing. But now he knew and somehow, it made him feel different.
Nevertheless, that was not the only thing he was thinking about over an over. There was one other issue that occupied most of his mind. That kiss. That kiss that had been supposed to be just a favor to a friend, had meant so much more to him. He was feeling things that he had never thought he would feel, that he had never felt before, not for his ex-girlfriend Reika or for any other girl. He had felt an incredible and overwhelming connection when he had kissed the beautiful sleeping brunette, and he could not think of anything else. He did not know how it had happened, but that girl had stolen his heart.
He longed to do something like to throw his apron on a table and run to her, and tell her how he felt and kiss her and hug her and never let go. But he couldn´t. That kiss had just been a one-time event, only a favor from a friend. She did not feel the same for him for sure. And moreover, she was a senshi of love and justice. Her world and his had nothing to do, he could never understand it fully, or help her, or protect her… She deserved better than him. He was just being ridiculous thinking that a girl so beautiful, kind, and powerful would fall for a plain waiter like him.
He shook his head, trying to forget about her face, her leaf-green eyes and her rosy lips, and got back to work.
Hikawa shrine
After the chaos made by the unexpected visit, everyone slowly calmed down and sat around the newcomer. She had told them that her visit was not just to see them all. She had a mission. She needed to tell them a few hints about the future in order for them to be able to vanquish their current enemy. That had intrigued them all deeply, forbidden as it was to know too much about the future, so they were eagerly waiting for the older not-so-Chibi Usa to tell them about it.
"OK well…" she started. She was sitting elegantly on her legs like for the tea ceremony, with the longer curls of her hairdo almost reaching the floor. The pretty red t-shirt made her matching red eyes stand out, and hanging over it at her chest´s height, the well-known golden Time Key shone brightly. She looked really cute.
"… I don´t know where to start from or how to say this delicately, so… I´d better just say it and that´s that…" she continued. They all suddenly saw her blush deeply.
"The future you saw when you travelled there a few years ago was not supposed to happen"
Some sighs of surprise were heard, but no one dared interrupt the pink-haired girl.
"And most of all, you should not have seen or known anything about it. That… that was my fault, I´m afraid… and I am really sorry about that" she admitted, remembering how a few years ago she escaped from her Time and into theirs, stealing Pluto´s Time Key, in order to save her unconscious mother "That caused lots of confusion and mistakes, and it has almost ruined the future. That´s why Puu asked me to come to visit you now in order to clarify some of those mistakes I caused… So I am now here to correct them all" she did not only look older, but she was much more mature.
"Mistakes?" asked Ami, not capable of holding herself back any longer.
"The real future, the one I come from, the one we have to fight to preserve in which Good vanquishes Evil and all the Universe inhabitants are saved and live happily is slightly different to what you saw…"
"Different? Different like how?" insisted Ami again
"Well… it´s really only one slight difference that makes the whole thing change…"
"Only one thing? And it makes it all change? What can that be?" said Ami, analyzing every word the younger one said.
"Perhaps if you let her talk…" scolded Rei
"Sorry…" said Ami, blushing
"That difference is…" continued ChibiUsa "…it concerns you, Usagi"
"Me?" said Usagi
"Yes…" said ChibiUsa "Usagi… you… in the future… you are not Mamo-chan´s wife"
"EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEHHHHHH?!" everyone said
Seiya blushed, his heart racing. Was that his fault?
"Wha…what? Really?" said Usagi, looking first at ChibiUsa, then at Seiya, and back at her future daughter "Wait, don´t tell me YOU are, because that is totally absurd and an incest and illegal and not correct at all, you know?!"
Everyone´s hairs stood on end at that comment.
"Usagi!" protested ChibiUsa, blushing so red she could catch fire "Please don´t be ridiculous and let me continue!"
"Ok, ok… fine" said Usagi, sitting back again and relaxing a little. Seiya was looking at her as if she was growing a head. What was that nonsense about the little one marrying her father?!
"Well, as I was saying before you started acting your usual silly self again…" continued ChibiUsa, making Usagi sweatdrop and pout, and Seiya open his eyes wide at the strange mother-daughter relationship they had "… you are still the Moon Queen in the future, and much more than that really, but Mamo-chan is not your King"
"He is not…?"
"Yes, that was… a confusion we all made. You were never meant to be together. He is not your soul mate, it is not your destiny…"
"A confusion? But how? We saw it! How can it be?!" Ami was out of her mind
"Ami-chan, relax!" murmured Minako, worried for her anxious friend.
"Wait a minute…" said suddenly Rei "The most shocking thing is not how the confusion was made but… How the hell is it possible that you exist, then, if Usagi and Mamoru-san never got together in the future?"
"Well…" ChibiUsa said, looking down and blushing even deeper, while she grabbed her mini skirt nervously with her fisted hands "Because Mamo-chan was never my father…"
"WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAT!?" Everyone in the room was in utter shock with the news. Usagi´s eyes were open so wide that did not fit in her slim face.
"E…E….E…xcuse…me?" said Haruka with a rapidly twitching eyebrow. Michiru was so embarrassed that she could just blush and cover her mouth, the same as Hotaru.
"Usagi-chan!" said Minako, furiously looking at her friend "What have you done?!"
"EEEHH?! MEEEE?!" she said, really stressed and blushing "I…I… I… I have no idea!"
Ami, getting a hold of herself, her cheeks also rosy with the incredible gossip, couldn´t help asking the question.
"ChibiUsa-chan… then… who´s your father?"
"Well, isn´t it already obvious?" she said, looking at Usagi and at the man sitting right next to her, who was looking at her with loving caring worried eyes "Seiya is."
The only sound that was heard after that tremendous revelation was a thud hard bump.
Seiya had passed out.
