Renesmee was anxious. Her mother had called telling her to meet her at this location. It was an old house. With a police cruiser in front of it and inside she heard four heartbeats. Before she could get a closer look, the same man that she saw in port angles appeared. His eyes were yellow and he did not look happy.

"Come."

Renesmee swallowed and did as told. Was he going to kill her? She hoped not.

Jacob watched from the cliffs as his wife sat on the driftwood ...waiting. His wolf had made sure to mark and claim her again…he had to make sure she knew she wasn't useless, and she wasn't the pack maid. She deserved to be respected. He could see the mark he made on her neck, almost glowing against the moonlight. She had to step into the alpha female position and not let her emotions or the packs perception of her ruin that. She had the power within her, she just had to tap into it.

"Jacob this is insane! Why would you-" Leah's tirade was silenced as Jacob turned around to look at her. Just one look would shut her up.

Leah found herself kneeling in her alpha's presence. It was just too much to resist especially when he was angry.

Jacob turned back to watch Paul out of the forest with renesmee following him. She looked…scared and his wolf was happy about that.

Bella had her eyes closed, listening to the waves. The moon was out, and Jacob had started a small bonfire for her while she waited. He would be watching her from a distance. After their love making…he marked her…again but this time in a more noticeable place. He and his wolf were assuring her that her place was by his side she just had to step into it. She didn't know how to though. There were sixteen wolves, ten imprints and all of them would be in and out of her house. All day every day. What was she supposed to do? it was as Paul was coming out of the forest that the idea came to her. Everyone wanted to feel special and recognized right? Everyone wanted to be given special that no one else could have right. So why not as a peace offering make twenty-one gifts specifically for every member of the pack.

"…mom?" a small scared voice called

Bella opened her eyes to see a carbon copy of herself except with green gold eyes. It had been so long. She had to be sixteen physically but if she were a full human she would be what ten?

"…Renesmee?" she called.

Her daughter nodded. Her daughter…her only daughter…at least….for was then a flood of emotions hit bella and hard. While she didn't regret leaving her daughter in roses care…she didn't like that she missed out on her life.

"…ive…missed you.." bella whispred.

"…i…I ..i don't understand….T-They told me you were dead!" Renesmee said as she burst into tears.

Bella gasp and she swore she heard a shout from the cliffs.

Jacob had heard the words and stepped back. The cullens told renesmee that bella was dead! But why!?

"….oh…oh..nessie…" bella said as she stepped towards her daughter.

"W-What did you say?" Renesmee said between hiccups.

"..i said Nessie. it's a nickname your...stepfather you gave you when you were born. Come sit…Theres a lot I need to explain."

"you said..my stepfather...but the only person who I can only remember call me Nessie was ..oh my gosh…y-you you married Jacob?" Renesmee shouted in shock

"sssh and yes I did marry Jacob but there still more your missing. Now sit down."

Renesmee did as told and Bella began.

"..After e-your father and I got married , we came home from our honeymoon to find out ...i was pregnant. It was shock to all of us. Vampires were not supposed to be able to conceive children but there you were…cracking bones and everything. You were so smart , responding to your fathers voice. He could hear your thoughts you know. But…then came the day you were born. I almost died and your fathers venom to change me failed miserably. I awoke weak…sick and human. Fully human. Not a trace of vampire venom running through me. And then I saw you…it had been days but you looked weeks old. I was in shock…and so was your stepfather…he had imprinted on you and it wasn't good. It wasn't that you were not good, it was just the situation wasn't good. Everyone around me was immortal or had slowed down aging...no one ate…no one slept…there was no place for me in that house…or in your life. You were more vampire then human…I tried...I really did but in the end I decided your aunt rose was the best caretaker for you. Once you were settled …I left. Its not that I didn't want you or that I didn't love you…but I was not equipped to take care of you. You were growing so fast. I couldn't fathom going to a parent teacher conference as a sibling and have Carlisle and Esme pretend to be our parents. Do they -never mind…but yeah… "

Renesmee looked at her mother and asked "but why did you just leave. Why not…live close by and still be involved? Why ..leave me? You and Jacob? I remember him…he was there and then the next day he wasn't . why was I not good enough?"

"oh ...baby girl." Bella said as she dared herself to embrace her only daughter. This was the straw that broke the camel's back. That warm...not cold touch. And the smell.. her mother smelled…good..not edible good but like…comforting good. Like a warm blanket.

"Oh baby girl you are good enough. Do you hear me. It wasn't because of you I left or because of you that jaocb left. ..The events surrounding you were major factors..i- I left you a latter to read when you were older but I guess you never got it. One of the major reasons I couldn't stay with you was because…well… volturi. And that one fear of them finding me came true. I was still human. When your father and I were dating…we were told that I had to be changed. The changed failed but we had you. The volturi…They .. don't know you exist. So to have a human give birth to a half human half vampire child. It's chaos. That's another reason and then to have jaocb imprinted to you… with the volturi around… it would have been too much."

Bella said as she held the sides of her daughters face.

"…mom?...Who are the volturi?...Did they do that to your face?"

"oh! my! god! They didn't tell you abou-Renesmee ...your bleeding..y- oh crap…you're having your period.."

"…A period ? wait I'm bleeding! Oh- my god! Mom- am I going to die?"

Jacob approached the panicking duo.

"..Bella..Renesmee..Lets go…home. I'm sure we have some things…set for you."

Billy was trying to get Ahanu and Hani asleep but the two just wouldn't close their eyes.

"man what did grandpa Charlie and aunt sue feed you two?"

"hey. Sue and I did our best.." Charlie grumbled

"I think they just want their mommy. Besides their still at the age of breast feeding. Its too bad though. I'm sure they could use Rebecca's milk." Sue said as she eyed the twins rolling on the floor.

"Bella's milk is just as good ma." Seth said as he ate his the leftovers Bella had set in the kitchen earlier.

"Bella's milk? She not pregnant Seth." Sue chided.

Seth rolled his eyes. "That's not what meant mom. Bella breast feeds the twins. Besides with the way her and Jake have been at it. I wouldn't be surprised if she was pregnant in the next couple of weeks. The pack has a bet going on."

"What bet?" Jacob's deep voice rang

"Aah !nothing! nothing-." Seth squeaked.

"..mmhmm. " Jacob said as he approached his father and kneeled before him.

As Jacob was kneeling before his father, he heard Bella, Paul and renesmee come through the back door as Bella took her to the bathroom.

"Hey dad. Charlie..sue. Where's Rachel?" he asked

"..She's out with leah and Emily. They went to get some food to stock up on. They should be back soon."

"What the heck is that smell… is that blood? Jake there's blood and Bella's scent and ..something else." Seth said as he rose from his seat.

"Sit down Seth. Bella's fine. She's taking care of some things." Jacob told him

Seth nodded. If his alpha wasn't concerned, he sure wasn't going to be.

"How'd your day go dad?" Jacob asked

"Well... I met with the elders again...same old same old. But the toughest part of my day was working with these two stubborn mules." He said as he waved toward the twin boy's

Jacob smiled and went to lay next to them.

"hey. Hey. Its past your bed time guys. What are you waiting on hmm. Is it mommy's bobbies? I bet it is."

"ha! I told you ma! Bella has the magic milk. Or boobs .i don't know." Seth cheered.

"um…Why are my breast the topic of conversation?"

Everyone turned to see Bella, Paul and to their shock renesmee in the doorway.

"What is going on?" Billy sneered as he looked towards his son. Jacob in turned offered him the exact same sneer.

"…Everyone. This is Renesmee Cullen. Bella's daughter…and ..my step daughter. Shell be staying with us tonight. Um…honey can you bring your great boobs with the magic milk to put our sons to sleep please." Jacob asked as he winked at Seth.

"of course…Nessie come here and help me please."

The room was still as they watched the half vampire child, they had all been so afraid of, sit on the floor next to Bella as Jacob handed her a twin.

Renesmee looked on as her mother proceeded to take her breast out and give milk to the child. She felt something like a blanket weigh on her. It had been a long day. Finding out her mother was alive all this time, to starting her period. She had been shocked when her mother told her it would happen four to five days out of the month. She wondered why no one in her family never told her about it. But as she thought about it, none of them especially the women had ever experienced it before. Her father's family treated her like a vampire. Forgetting that a part of her was human. So why would they tell her of something that might not even happen.

"Nessie?" a deep but powerful voice called. It was Jacob. he was standing over her.

"come. let's get you some food."

Nessie quietly followed him. trutfully, afraid and in awe of him. The more of she looked at him, the more she could remember him. His warmth..his smile.. and his sadness. Behind that smile had been so much sadness.

"..Im sorry.." she whispred out.

"you had nothing to apologize for child. You were a newborn and I was a teenager. The imprint was not supposed to happen but it did and I broke it. "

"..But im imposing on you again?" she questioned

Jacob turned to face her and smiled. "…you really are just like your mother. Always afraid of being in the way. You're not in the way. She was able to have some closure with you before you have to leave again."

"…What If- What if I don't want to leave?" she whispered.

Jacob's smile dropped. Renesmee presence for too long would draw too much attention and possibly cause more wolves to phase. It was too much of a risk. Visiting for a few weeks was one thing but staying long term was not an option and like Bella said the volturi would kill them all if they found out about renesmee.

"…I'm sorry renesmee. That's not an option. Not because you're not wanted but because of what vampires do to the wolves. Your kind cause us to phase. And it very dangerous and lives could be lost. A month is the longest you could visit and besides you have to find yourself… maybe find others out there like you. Don' t hide behind your fathers' family all your life. That's not living at all."

Jacob took a breathe and embraced the small girl.

"The imprint may have been broken but the wolf will always acknowledge who you once were."

"…I wasn't good enough for your wolf?" she questioned

"no Nessie. "Jacob said as he looked over her head at Bella who was looking down at ahanu. "it that you were not the other half of my soul. He …needed you mother. Which is why he has agreed to protect you at all cost. Your special to both she and I. we know there a lot you didn't understand growing up and that's ok. Things had to happen that way but now your older and now its time to make your own choices…For you."

Charlie and sue looked at the girl Jacob was embracing. They couldn't form an opinion of her. They both knew that her presence was temporary.

Marcus stopped to enjoy the sunshine. Something he had yet to do back in Italy. "Sir Are we stopping?" Felix asked nervously. He sighed and rolled his eyes. "no. not at all Felix. Come let's keep up with aro."

To Marcus's surprise. Aro had said that they needed a …vacation. So Aro, Marcus, Caius, along with sculpia and athendora and five of their guard decided to journey for a few weeks. Every few centuries, the volturi decided to make a grand appearance just to keep others in line. Felix, Chelsea, jane, Alec and Demetri were the ones chosen while one of the higher-ranking guards were chosen to maintain order while they were gone. Marcus however was not tin the mood to follow his brothers and their wives around. Not having been out the castle in years…he wanted to find the one woman who make his day…Isabella swan. With that thought in mind, Marcus quickly made a U-turn and silently motioned for Felix to follow. He knew Felix had a liking for the confident human.

"Where are we going sir? The others will wonder. "Felix asked

"I know Felix and that's ok. How about you and I go take a trip to see our favorite human."
