"WHAT IS GOING ON!? WHAT HAVE YOU BEEN DOING!?"
The woman staring at him was staring with a mix of shock and rage. Red recognized her from the front desk.
Alberta, Donny and Misty rushed in. They looked startled.
"What?" Asked Misty. "Red what have you been doing?"
For the first time, Red realized how much damage he had caused. There were holes everywhere from Dillan, headstones being ripped out of the ground from Lucina's razor wind. The graves and shrines were ruined. The only Shrine untouched was the one for Hawkeye.
"THIS SHOWS COMPLETE DISRESPECT FOR OUR LOSSES AND OUR TOWER! YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF YOURSELF!"
Red flinched. "I'm sorry. You see what happened was-"
But then something happened. The room was suddenly cooler, by at least 20 degrees. Donny shuddered. OZZO began vibrating.
"I WAS RIGHT! IT WAS GHOSTS."
And then dark shadows flew through the air, launching themselves in every direction. Red ducked as many flew towards himself. He ducked, and Lucina flew in the way, firing psychic blasts as fast as she could. OZZO did as well, blasting many with deadly accuracy. But the other Pokemon weren't doing so well. Tyrone aimed a punch, but it went right through a ghostly shadow. Luca's vines couldn't grab onto them, for they merely dissipated with smoke. Sydney's claws couldn't affect them either, and resorted to her fire breath, which was far less accurate.
And suddenly a blast of electricity missed Red by mere inches. Red stood on guard, facing…Ash?
The Pikachu hissed as he stalked towards Red, his cheeks sparking fiercely. His eyes were not their normal color, but a deep purple.
"You will pay for disturbing us, boy. Pay for your insolence!"
And then Ash sprung forward at top speed, aiming for Red. Tyrone however, grabbed him out of the air. With a mean look, he threw the Pikachu across the room, sending him crashing against the wall.
Red gasped. "Ty, be careful. Don't kill him!"
Tyrone snorted, before freezing. His eyes turned the same purple color as Ash, as the shadow entered his body. He roared at him, grabbing Red by the scruff of his shirt and lifting him in the air. Red stared in shock and fear.
"This seems to be your strongest Pokemon. I think I like this body."
Tyrone raised a fist. Red closed his eyes, waiting for an impact.
But suddenly Tyrone flew backward, blasted by Lucina's psychic attack. He rolled on his feet, growling. He pounded his chest, roaring. Lucina flew backwards, distracted by a group of the shadows that lunged for her, firing psychic blasts in every direction.
Tyrone pawed the ground, but suddenly Sydney landed a swift jab at his side. He growled in pain, reaching for her, but the Charmeleon rolled out of the way.
Red, now free, looked around for the rest of his team. Will and Luca stood back to back, repelling the shadows desperately. OZZO fired blasts at the shadows, protecting Dillan, who still looked bored.
"CALCULATING IMPACT POINT FOR NEAREST ENEMY. SCANNING GHOST'S IDENTITY."
"Uhh…shut up, I'm trying to take a nap."
Tyrone roared, aiming vicious strikes at Sydney, who barely dodged them. She growled. This monster had all of the Nidoking's skill.
Ash struggled to his feet, the purple glow gone. He stared in shock at Misty, Donny, and Alberta, who made no move to help Red. Except to stare with slight grins.
"Hey, guys! Red's in trouble! Help us!"
He ran in front of them, waving his arms frantically. They just looked at him with cold grins. Realization hit the Pikachu. Their eyes were now glowing a dark purple.
"Oh…..crap."
Misty's Staryu hit him out of nowhere, blasting him once more against the wall. He slowly got back up, exhausted, but a cocky grin on his face.
"Oh a rematch is what you want? All right, let's go-"
Suddenly the Starmie winced in pain as leaves struck its core. It fell over defeated.
Ash stared at Luca, who had just shot the razor leaf.
"Come on, man! That one was mine! NOW you start deciding to be useful!?"
Luca blushed. "Sorry."
Misty threw another pokeball, revealing her Starmie. Alberta and the front desk lady both released a Pokemon at the same time, A Ponyta and Electrode respectively.
Will chuckled nervously, now alone, facing a group of the shadows. He ducked, dodging two. "Uh, can I have help, guys?"
They spun around, dodging his water gun and launching themselves towards him. Will flinched, but then a powerful Psybeam shot through them, defeating them instantly. Will took off his glasses in surprise. From the other side of the room, OZZO had fired it.
"SCAN COMPELETE. GHOST POKEMON IS REVEALED AS GHASTLY. PSYCHIC MOVES ARE RECCOMENDED."
"Psychic moves eh?" Said Lucina, a small smile on her face. "Very well."
A wave of psychic power blasted through the shadows in a wave, knocking out many of the Ghastly, whose true forms were revealed. The Ponyta fired a thick flamethrower at the Butterfree, who barely managed to teleport to avoid.
Will sped forward, tackling the Horse Pokemon, but was suddenly blasted by the Electrode's Thundershock, sending him rolling on the floor in pain. Luca gasped, yanking the Wartortle away with his vines seconds before another Thundershock hit the ground.
Dillan watched the exchange, mildly amused. "Woohoo….go team. Beat them."
Lucina grimaced as she fought to repel the dozens of Ghastly heading her way. ""Dillan, OZZO, HELP HIM!"
The Porygon was battling with almost as many Gastly's as Lucina. His Psybeam was strong enough to tear through them, but he was nowhere near as quick and flexible as Lucina, and was battling a barrage of them.
"OW. OW. DEFENCES BREACHED. ACTIVATING SECOND LINE OF DEFENSE. HEALING MECHANISM, ENGAGE."
The Porygon's body was tinted with green as he slowly healed off the damage. Dillan meanwhile made no effort to stop the struggle.
Suddenly, Ash's tail fell out of nowhere, hitting his middle head. The Dugtrio gasped.
"Ho! I lost control for a mere moment. What can I do to be of service, sir Ash?"
The Pikachu was breathing heavily. Between both battles, he was now exhausted. "Save…Will and Luca…. Please…"
Dillan bowed. "Very well." He dug underground as quickly as he could.
Meanwhile, Luca fought desperately against the two trained Pokemon, fending them off with his vines. They were too fast however, and the Ponyta managed to blast the Ivysaur with a flamethrower.
Luca squealed in pain, rolling backwards into Will, who was similarly flopped on the floor. The Electrode and Ponyta sprinted forwards at top speed, ready to collide with the two and finish them off….
And then Dillan rammed into the Electrode out of nowhere, sending it flying away. The Ponyta reared up, and blasted a flamethrower, but Dillan was already underground.
The Ponyta looked skittish, throwing its head back fearfully. And then it too was sent flying away by the Dugtrio.
"Aha! You are no match for Dil-"
Ash snapped, looking impatient. "Yeah okay we get it. Now let's finish the Gastly off!"
Meanwhile, Sydney rolled around, desperately avoiding Tyrone's vicious strikes. She jumped in the air, slashing the Nidoking across the face, leaving a small scar. Tyrone roared, kicking her in the gut, and she flew backwards, crashing into something. She rose unsteadily, staring at the shrine to Hawkeye, which had just cracked.
A wave of anger coursed through her and she fired vicious fire blasts. Tyrone winced in pain and stumbled, but he quickly regained his footing and continued to walk forwards. Gastly's shot around him, but he simply swatted them to the side, grinning at Sydney.
Understanding washed through the Charmeleon. Whatever was possessing Gerald didn't have complete control? The Nidoking wanted another battle with her. She grinned back. If they fought, he might be able to break free of the control.'
She ran at him, her claws flashing as they raked across his arms. They left no mark, but when Tyrone reached out to grab her, she hopped on his hands, using them a springboard to do a perfect flip over his head. She flicked her claws once more, slashing at his back on the way down. As Tyrone groaned, reaching at his back. Sydney shot a blast of blue power, a dragon rage. It collided with the Nidoking, and he fell to his knees.
And then he smirked, charging at speeds Sydney couldn't prepare for. H landed a head butt, sending her flying off her feet. She rolled and tried to throw a punch, but Tyrone caught her arm and knocked her flat with his tail.
Sydney rolled as the tail struck the ground next to her. She dug into the ground , but Tyrone's arm burst in after her and snatched her tail. With a grunt of effort, he yanked her out, holding her to face him.
She quivered as the two stared at each other. And then she snorted.
"Oh my Arceus, Gerald. You scared the hell out of me."
His face split into a grin. "I broke free when you used dragon rage. I just wanted to beat the crap out of you again."
"Again? When was the first time, porcupine?"
Tyrone opened his mouth to retort, but was interrupted by Ash.
"Sydney, are you okay? Is Tyrone back to normal?" He asked.
Tyrone grunted. "I'm fine."
"Oh. Great. Yeah, getting thrown across a room REALLY HURTS A LOT, TYRONE!"
The Nidoking smirked again. "I'm not apologizing. So, where are the damn shadow things, I want revenge."
"Taken care of. But OZZO senses something in the above towers. We might need to go there next."
Red rubbed dust off his shirt. "Good work guys. I'm not sure what happened, but-"
OZZO's eyes were flashing. "INTENSE AMOUNT OF SUPERNATURAL ACTIVITY IN THE ROOMS ABOVE. I MUST EXERCISE CAUTION."
"OZZO is right." Replied Lucina, grimly. "Something is going on up there. Something must be going on to make the spirits like this. I feel like we must stop it."
Red sighed. "Of course we do." He looked at the unconscious bodies of Misty, Donny, and Alberta, who had been released of the power that controlled them. "Ash and Tyrone, stay here and guard them. The rest of us should press on, and see what's up ahead."
Ash nodded, running over, followed by a reluctant Tyrone, who grumbled the whole time. Red shook his head and began ascending the stairs, his remaining Pokemon behind him.
He shuddered to himself when he arrived at the top. The air was cold, and something seemed off.
A shadow slowly rose from the ground, taking a physical shape. It's features where wispy and grey, though it clearly resembled a Marowack. It roared in a terrible, demon sounding and distorting roar, shadows blasting forward from its ghostly bone.
Lucina flew in front, her eyes glowing an intense blue once more. A barrier was conjured, blocking the shadow blast and protecting Red's team.
The Marowack hissed and roared once more. ".., GO….AWAY…."

Firstly, I'd like to apologize about the wait, but I was busy with finals and things so….
FUN FACT: The Ponyta is Alberta's only Pokemon. It has the same mother as one of Blaine's Pokemon as well.
