"You're an idiot, ya know that, right?"
"I can see that now, Dan."
"Well, as long as you're aware."
Flack put his face in his hands. He didn't really have a reason for what he did; in fact, he couldn't even come to terms with it. He had spent the last two days at Danny's place, talking with the kid just to make sure that what happened actually happened.
"I just don't understand why you'd tell Montana that ya cheated on her when ya really didn't, that's all."
"I just…I could see that she loved me, Dan-o. And I could see that I didn't love her as much. How do you tell someone that? I just thought that her thinking I didn't love her at all was better than her knowing I didn't love her enough."
