Hello again! This time I'm definetely (probably not) going to finish the gate lord's eye mission! Though you may be complaining and groaning about how it takes so long,

It does. Writing action scenes is extremely hard, so even the measly amount of words I write takes about a day to do so. Yes. A day.

Remember, this is my first time writing, so I haven't got the experience to go quicker. But the holidays are coming up, so I guess I can use that to get some solid work done.

Anywho, I got some more comments that I'd like to answer. I think I'm going to be answering a lot of questions now, to give you extra information or clear something up that was confusing. Though I'll only be answering the necessary ones that I believe would add insight. No 'great story mate's' will be answered, sorry to say. Yes, and thankyou for complimenting me with that short comment. I've written the answers at the end.

Disclaimer: Just let it go. Again, I don't own Disney either. I just like using Disney references...

Chapter 34: Tank and Wi-fi Take all the Glory

(Lucy's P.O.V)

Tank thundered past me, onward toward the portal. I smiled. She was reckless, and always ready for a fight. She reminded me so much of… so much of… don't think his name. He's dead.

To distract myself from the dark thoughts in my head I took out my sniper and aimed at the gate, just visible under the arch.

A harpie came through, and zoomed toward me. A hobgoblin shot at me from above. Crap. I was taking damage.

But I'm a guardian now. Hello? Regeneration and necromancy? Even if I am in a darkness zone right now, I still have Ghost. I'll be fine.

I ignored the pain of laser red bullets entering and exiting my flesh, and opted to just keep shooting at the gate. A little longer... almost there... done! Destroyed the gate.

Now that our main problem was gone, I turned my attention to the smaller, less important problems gathering around me right now. Two more harpies had joined, and 1 goblin. I thanked whoever was looking out for me in the sky (Probably the Traveler) that there was not also a Hydra. From my experiences earlier today, those things sucked and I don't think that I could take one out on my own.

Instead I got out my sniper rifle and turned to the goblin, not even looking through the lens, and shot it in the stomach. One hit kill, from such close quarters. I only had about 5 shots left in the rifle, so I looked skyward. There was that obnoxious hobgoblin, still shooting at me. I saw the next bullet coming, and flipped out of the way conveniently dodging the 3 harpies' lasers too. Easy peasy.

Once I was back on my feet I aimed my sights on the hobgoblin because it could do the most damage. One shot from my sniper and it was down to half health, with that weird orange bubble coat protecting it.

While it was distracted doing... whatever it was doing, I shot the closest harpy in the middle of it's eye, and it screeched. The other two overtook it to take the front spot, so I pulled out my hunter knife and my half of the blade of Crota (which was still clinging to my waist like a koala) and threw both of them at the different harpies. Both hit straight on, but only one died. As the body that had been hit with the sword of Crota collapsed. I ran forward and wrenched my sword from it's body. Blood. It needs more blood. Blood. I need to feed it.

I felt compelled to. It needs blood. I need to satisfy. Blood. Wait, what? Since when did I think like that? Weird. Must be the sword.

I shrugged, a little unsettled about where those thoughts would have taken me if they had been allowed to continue. I need to be more careful around this sword.

Instead of throwing it again, I put it back on my waist. I lost the momentum after that moment.

The hobgoblin from before got back up again, so I chucked a grenade at it. As the explosion echoed, I hoped that it wouldn't get up again.

Turning back to the two remaining Harpies, Both with half health, I got out my whip and wrapped it around the one closest to me. It squealed, and the other just kept on shooting. I swung the harpy around me, in a 360 degree loop to gain momentum, then hurled it at the only enemy left. They clashed, metal grinding on metal, and tumbled of a ledge. I heard a crash and a booming sound. They won't be bothering me again.

Continuing under the arch, I was met with silence. No enemies there. Instead, I saw Wi-fi and Tank leaning on a pillar, looking at me with smug expressions on their faces.

"Well, about time! How long did you take? Forever?" Wi-fi pushed of the wall and strolled towards me with a prideful stagger in his step.

I rolled my eyes and stuck out my tongue. He was really annoying.

"I'm new here, remember?" He stopped in front of me, and I heard Tank laugh.

"He's right. You took forever." She grinned.

"Who cares? Let's just end this." I sighed in defeat, I just wanted to go home by this point.

"I agree!" Tank nodded, looking more excited about the boss battle than the warm bed waiting at home.

"Are you sure that won't take forever too?" Wi-fi snarked, and I glared. That little brat. He may be more experienced than me, but respect your elders goddammit! I was older than everyone in the tower combined!

I jumped up the blocks of stone and mold, and they followed me. Soon enemies started appearing again, along with a new gate.

Wi-fi automatically started shooting it, so me and Tank circled around him, shooting any goblins that dared to come near. Many tried, and they all failed because I was a woman on a mission and nothing was stopping me from getting this over with. I don't care if there is a freaking hurricane brewing above us right now, I am going to finish this today because I just want to go to bed at this point.

Wi-fi finally shot the gate down, and the blue light flickered then died, revealing it's bronze disc.

Then a freaking Minotaur joined the fray. It was one of those ones that had a grenade launcher.

"Wow. Goblin hoards and a Minotaur? It must be my birthday!" Wi-fi growled loudly, and I suspected that he also just wanted to go home. It must be incredibly tiring to do this every single day. I know, because I've been doing this for a month now. But it still beats being stuck in ice for 2000 years while being conscious. I know that was hella boring, and I'm surprised that I haven't gone insane from the pressure yet.

The Minotaur, predictably, zeroed in on me for no particular reason and started shooting his grenade things. I dodged the first one barely, but it shook the ground like an Earthquake so I lost balance and fell.

He shot again, and the cursed thing landed on my thigh, completely obliterating my leg. I screamed, because my leg was off! I couldn't feel it anymore! I could only feel a horrible, all consuming pain crawling up my thigh.

I saw black spots, and then another burst of pain erupted on my left arm. I could feel myself drifting away, and the pain became a numb background hum. Everything turned to white noise, and I died.

But... I was still conscious now. Suddenly everything became painful again. I could feel my leg, and the parts that were splattered on the ground in pieces. Every individual blood drop.

I could feel the rocks from the ground digging into my back and it was uncomfortable. I could feel fresh air on my mangled arm, feel it run into the broken flesh and out the other side. But I couldn't hear anything. I couldn't see anything. Nothing.

It was just like under the ice.

And I knew that now. This was what it is like to die. There is no escape. One day, I will die for good, and sit like this for eternity.

I relaxed myself and didn't try to stop the pain in my leg and arm. From experience, it won't help. If you accept it it won't go away, but you won't care anymore.

So I relaxed my mind and thought about other things. I'll be out of here soon. Once Wi-fi and Tank have destroyed all the little enemies, they'll help me come back so we can defeat the boss together. The only reason I wasn't regenerating myself was because we were in a darkness zone, and Ghost wasn't strong enough to do it alone.

I wonder what my old apartment is like now? I never got to see it when I visited Magnolia...

I hope it's still there. It would be nice to have some sort of thing from my past. Maybe if I can just get a picture frame of me and my old guild mates... no they would have taken that away. I was a murderer to them.

I used to not be, but now I am a murderer. Just not a murderer of humans. I never killed him! Why would I kill him!?

I'll have to pay that place a visit. I'm sure they'll understand.

I felt a tingling in my body, and all the pain went away. I saw the light at the end of the tunnel again, just like before when I was under the lake.

It consumed my vision, and then I was... back.

I was back. I opened my eyes to see Tank leaning over me, and Vex corpses littering the ground. She was splattered in white paint... no that was the contents of a goblin's stomach. I didn't even want to know how that got there. Ew.

"Good to be back." I smiled at her, and she put her hand in my face for me to grab. As she pulled me up, I let go so I could take my balance on my own. Last time I let her keep going, I had face planted again because she used too much force.

"We finished the boss off." Wi-fi said from behind me, and I turned to see him.

"I have the item." He said and then I heard my ship approaching. It hovered in the sky, then I felt all of us scattering and reappearing in the ship. I was expecting this to happen, so I didn't fall on my butt or anything like I did a few times.

"You could've left some for me though!" I pouted. I bet they got all the good loot too. I hated dying.

"Nah. You are much more useful to me dead." He countered. How offensive.

Tank giggled.

"OK fine. Can we just go home now?" I couldn't think of a good comeback to his insult, so I just went to the coffee machine and poured myself a cup. I added a lid in case it spilled during the flight.

"Sure thing." Tank answered, and the ship started moving. Thank goodness that is all over. I need a bath, too.

Yes, finished! And to all who thought I am a really lazy writer for not adding in the Minotaur battle scene, I will. Next chapter I'm doing it in Tank's or Wi-fi's point of view, so I'm not that lazy. But yes, I am also incredibly lazy.

So, the question. I only have one new review with any questions, so please make more if you want answers!

To K1LL3RI393: Yes, The sword does have a connection to celestial magic. But it isn't a new spirit or anything, it is more like a weapon made by someone. Who is that someone? You'll have to find out.

Feel free to make some ideas. After all, you could be right. And I wouldn't recommend the Sword of Crota as a toothpick. You'd most likely brake the tooth itself! Actually, I might add in a scene like that...

See you next Sunday!

Pineapple out.
