Hey guys, it's danbob521. This is a BIG announcement. So please read the whole thing and keep an open mind.
This story will return on January 28th, 2016 with a new chapter, consisting of over 600 words. Chapters will be every Sunday morning after that. I plan to continue this season through 24 chapters, oppose to Season 1's 21. This is my most successful story here, so I chose to keep the pump going.
But recently, I've noticed a view drop in the series. And really, I can't act so surprised.
What made this series special was how Finn and Princess Bubblegum changed dynamically for their upcoming son. That's what made season one a trending fanfiction on the site. We brought in a bunch of views and favs and followings for the series.
But when Season Two rolls around, the views litterally go from hundreds to under 100. I guess no one really wanted me to go any further. The 21-chapter story (which recieved mixed reviews) was good enough, and no one really wanted a further expansion.
But I still had so much more to tell. The problem is, would you guys have liked the way I did it?
Apparently not.
Unfortunately, I learned that the hard way. My heart broke when I found out that Season 2 Episode 7 got only 23 views. What was once a special story had now turned into just another milked story. Had m work really turned into dust?
Even the update I posted recently got a lousy view score. I guess you guys just wanted me to focus more on my other stories than this. It hurt.
And with the start of 2016 tommorow, I need to know what to do. So to whoever reads this, tell ALL the people to look at this. Everyone who has read this story, PLEASE read this with an open mind. Share. Because now I leave the choice to you.
Go to my bio, and you will find a poll at the top. It will ask if I should continue the story for a season 3 or end after Season 2 Chapter 24. The poll will close on March 1, 2016. The choice is yours. Should I quit while I'm ahead, or should I continue Finn Jr's life story?
