Skirmish in the fields
We last left sonic and dash had just finished a game of chase, and is now taking a nice stroll around equestria.
The OC's are now trying to find a way to hide the master emerald and wake shadow who has slipped into a comma like state.
With the OC's at the over watchers world
"well what are we going to do about shadow and the master emerald?"asked Derrick
"Hmm... We need a place that can mask the energy it gives off. Make some one think it's something else" said grabarc
"Where in the world can you hide an energy like that?! It's just a massive conduit of pure energy." said sora
"It's not like there are to many sources of ultimate energy around" said Zerozah
"Yeah like hiding it in close proximity to the elements of harmony would work." Said tempest with sarcasm
Grabarc just looked at him with a grin and said "that's brilliant! Good job tempest."
"Wait what... Oh no I meant it as a joke" said tempest
"No that will work. And I'm taking shadow and the master emerald to the princesses right now" said grabarc opening a portal to canterlot
With sonic and dash
The two are taking a nice stroll through the fields out side of ponyville
Small talk is ensuing as the two reached the top of a near by hill over looking a large plain, but there was something wrong
Once sonic and dash looked out they saw a familiar and unnerving sight
There were a cluster of drop pods surrounding a small enclosed area of barbed wire and trenches
"Whoa what is going on here?" Said sonic dropping to his knee and scoping out the area
"Don't tell me there about to invade equestria!" Exclaimed dash with worry
"No this group is to small to do any real damage but let's take them down quickly before more come" said sonic gearing up in a figure 8 peel out
"Right on tail furball" exclaimed dash
As the two bolted down and into the compound they caught the troopers off guard
Sonic bashed through a group of shadow troopers with his spindash and followed up with an axe kick on a nearby wall mounted turret.
Dash was bolting and bucking from trooper looking like an out of control pin ball game.
The small out post didn't even have time to defend its self from the two blue burrs attacks
"That was way to easy" said dash
"Yeah actually it was... But that can't be all of them, can it?" Asked sonic
"We need to tell twilight about this. If these guys are here that can't mean anything good" said dash
"Yeah let's get to twi's place and fast" said sonic
