Aaron ran a cross check on the aircrafts and discovered they were Russian planes heading towards the base. Everything went muted when Aaron looked at the screen and saw the planes heading towards the base. She could hear Parish's muted voice trying to say something to her, but she couldn't quite grasp the whole situation yet. But she knew she had to do something so she turned her head towards Parish and finally heard him.

"What do I do?" Parish half-yelled.

"Set off the alarm." Aaron ordered. "Get everyone on this base a weapon and ready to fight. Those aircrafts are going to be here in five minutes and we don't have enough soldiers here if they are dropping soldiers from those planes. I'm going to contact MacMillan and get reinforcements here. Have whoever has the best aim with an RPG or guided missile to take out those planes once they are in range. And get on the radio and see if you can get in contact with whoever is piloting those planes. Do you understand?"

"Yes ma'am!" Parish replied rushing out of the technical building.

Aaron set the alarm over and got on the loud speaker as soon as Parish left and made the announcement.

"Every single soldier on this base report to an armory immediately. We have a Zone 1 emergency with enemy aircrafts closing in on this base. We have less than five minutes before they strike so get your asses ready!"

Once she made the announcement, Aaron got on the phone and called MacMillan at his base a few hours away. When someone answered they asked who was calling.

"This is Sergeant Aaron Pager at the Hereford base. ID number 5634. I need to speak with Commander MacMillan immediately." Aaron told the person on the line.

"We have to clear you ID first. It's protocol." The person said.

"I don't care what protocol is right now. We have a Zone 1 emergency with enemy aircrafts closing in on this base and are going to strike in four minutes. Get Commander MacMillan on this line NOW."

Whoever was on the line forwarded the call to MacMillan who answered the phone after one ring. "This is MacMillan." He said.

"Commander this is Sergeant Aaron Pager at Hereford. We have Russian planes heading towards our base and not enough soldiers here to hold off three planes full of Russian soldiers." Aaron told him.

"Reinforcements will be there in fifteen minutes. Where are Price and MacTavish?"

"They just left Austria on their mission to get Steiner."

"Have them redirected to my base here immediately and hold off the Russians as long as you can until the reinforcements arrive."

"Yes sir."

With that said Aaron hung up and grabbed her headset, putting it on as she rushed around the office to grab all the important information on Anatoly and his locations.

OOOOO

Soap boarded the helicopter with a zip tied and duct taped Jonathan Steiner and sat down next to Price as Nikolai took off. He took his vest off to look at his stab wound and saw it was deeper than he thought. He grabbed a gauze pad and taped it over the wound when Aaron's voice came over the radio.

"Price, come in." she said.

"Right here Aaron." Price replied.

"Tell Nikolai to take you to MacMillan's base." This caught everyone's attention, including Soap's.

"Why?" Price asked.

"There are Russian planes closing in on the base and MacMillan ordered me to have you redirected to his base."

Soap looked at Price in surprise and shock at what Aaron had just said.

"Repeat that Aaron." Soap said.

"There are Russian planes closing in on this base and are three minutes out. You are to report to MacMillan's base immediately. That is a direct order from MacMillan. I have to-"

"Aaron?" Soap questioned. "Aaron come in. Are you there?"

"The radio must have gone down." Price assumed. "Nikolai get us to MacMillan's base."

"Wait Price we can't just leave that base and everyone there on their own." Soap objected.

"Soap it was a direct order from MacMillan and there's an entire base of soldiers there and MacMillan most likely sent in reinforcements that are on their way."

Soap went to say something, but Price cut him off. "They'll be fine Soap. Aaron sounds like she has everything under control and MacMillan does too."

Soap sat back in his seat and let out a breath. If Aaron died the last memory she'd have with him was that stupid fight. Going to MacMillan's base wasn't right while the rest of the Task Force soldiers were in Hereford at the base. But Soap didn't have a choice. He had his orders. But he also had a girlfriend who might die today.

OOOOO

Back in Hereford Aaron was in the armory with the other soldiers getting gear on and getting weapons ready. She pulled on her knee pads and clipped a holster onto her thigh before sliding a pistol into it. She pulled on a bulletproof vest and then a pair of gloves before grabbing an assault rifle off the wall and putting a clip in it. Once she had a few flash bangs, grenades, and knives on her she left the armory and saw one of the soldiers prepping a guided missile. She looked ahead and saw the planes in range. "There are two planes." She told the soldier. "Don't let them get too close."

As the first plane approached the solder raised the guided missile and got a lock on it, firing it as soon as he could. The missile flew through the air and hit the plane's tail, but it was still airborne. As they loaded another missile in the plane shot at the one building and it went up in an explosion. Aaron covered her head from the blast and looked ahead at the plane where Russian soldiers were coming down from ropes. "Everyone out and front now!" Aaron yelled.

Every soldier on the base came out and got began unloading on the Russian's as they approached. Aaron took cover behind a wall and took a second when she realized it was like she was back in the field again…somewhere she hasn't been in months. She looked at the gun in her hands and took a breath before turning towards the action and taking aim. She fired at every Russian that started to get too close and landed a few headshots and a couple of body shots. She missed a few times due to the fact that she hasn't had a lot of practice lately and she was never that outstanding with a gun to begin with.

The first plane was shot down and crashed into the mechanics garage, flames igniting upon impact in an explosion. The second plane showed up and fired at the armory and the building where the training room was before a guided missile took out the one wing. Aaron took cover behind the wall to reload when she saw Jamie down near the one building sitting against behind the wall with a gun in her hands. Aaron tossed a grenade out and rushed over to where she was as quickly as she could.

"Jamie?" Aaron asked. Jamie had a blank stare ahead before she looked at Aaron. "I'm just a nurse…I can't do this…" Jamie said in a shaky voice.

"Jamie you passed basic training and have done this before in the field, remember?" Aaron reminded her. Aaron noticed that Jamie was still dressed in her scrubs and didn't have any armor on. Aaron set her gun down and pulled off her vest and told Jamie to put it on.

"No if you get shot-" Jamie began to object.

"If I get shot I get show now put the damn thing on!" Aaron half-yelled.

Jamie took the vest and pulled it on, leaving Aaron in only her knee and elbow pads. Looking up Aaron saw the Russians were progressing up and pushing the Task Force soldiers back.

"We have to move!" Aaron told Jamie, pulling her up and leading her back to safety.

The two got behind the cover of the side a building and Aaron fired at the approaching Russians. Jamie did as well, but missed the first few times before she finally got the hang of it. Aaron was reloading when she saw Parish get shot and go down. "Jamie cover me!" Aaron yelled as she ran out towards Parish. She got to him and saw he was bleeding from his side. "Can you stand up?" she asked him.

"Yeah." Parish answered as Aaron helped him up. She slipped an arm around his waist to support him hurried back over to where Jamie was. Aaron sat him down against the wall and looked at where he was bleeding. Aaron took his vest off and saw the bullet went through his side and there wasn't an exit wound which meant the bullet was still lodged somewhere inside him. A grenade went off nearby and the blast knocked Aaron on her feet. She quickly got up and helped Parish up. "We need to move. Reinforcements won't be here for another five minutes." Aaron said as she helped Parish up.

Aaron led Jamie and Parish to the nearest building where she put Parish down and told Jamie to stay with him. "You're leaving?" Jamie questioned. Aaron knelt down in front of her and looked her in the eye. "They need help out there and you need to make sure he is alright. If someone walks through that door and is Russian, you shoot them. I will be right back." Aaron told Jamie before rushing out.

As she fired at the approaching Russians when she saw a few more Task Force soldiers go down. She took cover behind the side of another building and threw out another grenade. She was down to her last round on her rifle and she cursed under her breath. "Come on MacMillan." She said to herself as she loaded the last clip into her gun.

Once Aaron was out she tossed the gun to the side and pulled out her sidearm and went into the building she was hiding behind to see what she had left. She had two grenades and a few flash bangs as well as a knife and the rounds for her sidearm. She loaded her pistol when she heard a gunshot and then pain in her shoulder. She fell to the ground and turned around to see a Russian soldier reloading a revolver. She turned over on her back and pulled her knife out, throwing it at the Russian and landing it right in the center of his chest. He fell backwards onto the ground and Aaron breathed a sigh of relief. She looked at her shoulder and saw the bullet wound. She put her fingertips on it and then looked at the Russian on the ground. She went over to him and bent over to grab his gun when his eyes opened and he kicked her feet out from under her. She landed on her back and the Russian tackled her, pulling the knife from his chest and raising it to Aaron. Aaron grabbed his arm and punched him across the face, the knife coming out of his hand and landing on the floor. The Russian hit Aaron across the face once before Aaron grabbed the knife and jammed it through the side of his head. She pushed him off of her and stood up when she heard the sound of helicopters caught her attention. A smile formed across her face when she realized it was MacMillan's reinforcements.
