Three month later: June

(The twins are 9years old)

The sun was shining, the sky was clear and there was a mild wind. It was a perfect day to visit the beach; Erza had packed up a delicious picnic. The family made their way down the stone steps, down to the sandy beach. Ayoko wore her dark purple bathing suit; her hair was tied back into a neat ponytail. Erza wore her famous yellow and black bikini, much to Jellal's appreciation. Kiyoshi walked beside his dad, the pair wore matching blue shorts.

Erza placed down a red cotton towel for everyone to sit on while Jellal set up a yellow umbrella. Ayoko opened up the basket and sneaked a cream cake while her mum wasn't looking. Kiyoshi began building himself a hole. The family sat together under the umbrella, Erza smiled as she looked at her children, she was so happy to have such wonderful people in her life. Jellal lifted his son over his shoulders, Kiyoshi moaned saying he was no longer a baby.

"I suppose you don't want an ice cream then?" Jellal teased.

"I'm not too old for one of them" Kiyoshi laughed as he wrapped his hands under his dads chin.

Jellal walked his children over to the ice cream van, Erza began rubbing in her sun lotion, while looking out to the see. Families from all over Fiore were splashing around in the salty water. She never thought that this would be her life; she had the man she loved and two beautiful children.

"Daddy can I play in the sea" Ayoko pulled on her father's shorts.

"We will go in a minute" he smiled as he handed her a strawberry ice-cream.

"Ayoko?" a blonde haired girl called out, as she ran towards her friend.

"Yuki" Ayoko smiled as she hugged her best friend.

Kiyoshi wriggled down from his dad's shoulders and greeted Yuki, the girl smiled as her cheeks blushed. Ayoko grinned before pushing her friend into her brother. Kiyoshi wrapped his arms around the blonde girl as she stumbled towards him.

"Ayoko" Jellal shook his head and smiled.

"I didn't do anything daddy" Ayoko stuck out her tongue.

Kiyoshi looked at them confused, Yuki's face turned brighter red as she pulled away from the boys arms.

"Daddy don't you need to go back to mummy" the purple wizard grabbed Jellal's hand and pulled him away from the two children.

"I do?" he asked, looking at his daughter.

"Yes daddy" she winked.

Jellal laughed as he picked his daughter up, placing her on his strong shoulders, Ayoko turned and waved to her brother and friend, before tapping her dad's head.

"Well done daddy, well done" she giggled before licking her ice cream.

"Uhm…ugh…." Yuki bit her lip as she pulled on her pink skirt.

Kiyoshi looked at her; he didn't understand why the girl acted so weird around him. She seemed alright when Ayoko was with her. He reached for her hand, pulling it from her dress; she looked up at him, her dark green eyes big and bright.

"Do you want to go and check out the fair?" he asked.

Yuki nodded silently, she was trying her hardest to stop her legs from wobbling. He was holding her hand and now he wanted to take her to the fair, just them together.

Kiyoshi gently pulled her towards the rides; his mum had given him some money earlier, just in case he wanted something to eat.

Ayoko looked back towards her brother; he was leading Yuki towards the fair. She smiled to herself as she noticed he was holding her hand.

"We did it daddy" she cheered as they approached Erza.

"What have you two been up to?" Erza asked as she sat up.

Jellal placed Ayoko on to the sand.

"Nothing mummy" she giggled.

"Where's Kiyoshi?" her mother asked slowly.

"With Yuki, they went for a walk together" Ayoko smiled as she pointed in the direction her brother had gone.

Erza leaned on her arms as she searched for her son, but he was out of sight.

"He'll be alright" Jellal smiled, knowing Erza would have already begun to worry about their son.

"I'm going to play in the sea with Poseidon!" Ayoko announced before running off down the beach, before her parents could stop her.

Jellal sat himself down next to Erza; the pair watched their daughter jump into the sea.

"I never thought I could love something as much as I do my family, my babies and you" Erza whispered.

Jellal turned and faced her, he smiled.

"I know Fairy Tail have always been my family and they still are but this, this is something different I know I would die for any of you, every day I wake up my heart is filled with happiness because the first thing I see is you" Erza smiled, placing her hand on Jellal's cheek.

He slowly moved his hand up, placing his over hers, he loved how she was able to be open about the feelings in her heart, he gently kissed her hand.

"I don't think I could ever explain the amount of love I have for you Erza, words aren't enough compared to the way you make me feel" he whispered.

Erza's cheeks rushed a rosy pink, she looked down, she didn't understand why, he told her every day that he loved her but when he spoke like this, it moved her, it was like she had no control over her heartbeat when he spoke so deeply of her.

Jellal moved across to her, he slowly lowered her down into the sand, he rested his arms either side of her as he stared down into her deep brown eyes.

Erza looked up, her heartbeat was out of rhythm and her voice had disappeared, all she could do was admire his beauty, his dark blue hair and shining green eyes had her mesmerized. She slowly lifted her arms up; she rested her hands around his neck and gently pulled him closer to her.

Jellal slowly moved forward, closer to her moist pink lips, his arms shook as the scent of her scarlet hair tickled his nose. He gently pressed his lips onto her, closing his eyes, he lost all control. He placed his hand on her cheek, bringing her head forward, they always kissed, every day they kissed but no matter how many times they did it, it was still like their first. All the emotion, all the feelings, butterflies, racing heart, shaking body, just like their first time.

Jellal slowly moved away, his blue hair covered his face, Erza looked up to him. No one had ever made her feel this way, this truly was the best love she had ever felt. She pulled Jellal back towards her, resting him in her arms. She wouldn't allow anything or anyone to take him from her, he was hers and they both had their babies, which they would protect and love forever and always.

Love is the strongest emotion a person can have; it can break hearts as easy as it can mend them. It's the one thing we all seek, the one thing we all desire, so when you find something worth loving forever, you know you will do anything to protect it.

Jellal and Erza lay in each other's arms as the sun slowly began to set, nothing else but the things they loved matter right then, they had each other and their family and that's what was worth living for now.

Ayoko stood in the water, closing her eyes she thought about her brother, as well as the God she wished to call upon .The sea water began to swirl, waves formed around the young wizard as her water God appeared beside her.

"Poseidon" Ayoko smiled.

The other people in the water had swum away, scared for their life's as they saw the huge God rise from out of the water.

"Young Ayoko" Poseidon smiled.

"I thought we could do some training, I got my third God so I kind of need to practice on my magic, will you help me?" she asked a little nervous, she remembered how badly tempered this God could be.

"I was informed, you have done well, I am very proud of you" the large man pated her head with his giant hand.

"So, will you help me?" she asked again.

"Of course, let's practice on water movement" he suggested.

"What's that?" she asked, a little confused.

"Whenever you call upon one of your God's, you will have a connection with them" he tried to explain to the young wizard.

"I don't get it…" Ayoko shook her head.

"With me I can control waves but I can also move the ground, if I transform into my bull form, so if you need me to be on land but still require waves I can give you full control of them" the God explained

"I can control your power" she said aloud, she suddenly became nervous, she thought she knew everything about her God's power but clearly she still had a lot to learn.

"So first I will make a wave and then you will take over" Poseidon clapped his hands together, not given the young girl a chance to debate.

"Uhm…ok" she said quietly, her whole body was trembling, how she was going to control a wave.

The God placed his hand over the water; the water began to sway a little more before he moved his hand to the side, causing a massive wave behind them, Ayoko's eyes widened at the size of it.

"Alright Ayoko, I am going to give you full control of this in a moment, I just need to make it a little bigger"

"Bigger!?" Ayoko screeched.

Poseidon moved his other hand, connecting another wave with the already oversized one, Ayoko gulped, the water was high, she looked up as the water over shadowed her.

"You need to use both hands so get ready" Poseidon instructed, not turning.

Ayoko slowly lifted her hands up, they were shaking uncontrollably.

"I don't think I can do this" she went to move her hands.

"Now" Poseidon let go of his waves.

"Ah!" Ayoko screamed as the waves came towards her.

"Hold it!" the water god yelled.

Ayoko fell backwards, she kept her hands up, the wave was really heavy, and she already felt tired.

"Stand up and move it" the water god instructed in his deep voice.

Ayoko felt scared but she did as she was told, she lifted herself out of the water and tried to move it. The water moved slightly, but the wave still remained in front of her.

"FOCUS AYOKO!" Poseidon growled, he was getting annoyed with her not trying hard enough.

"I am its heavy you know" she cried back.

"You won't get your last God if you can't control a small wave like this"

"Small, have you seen the size of it!" she cried.

"I was your second God, this wave is nothing compared to your last God's power, now focus!"

"I can't focus with you yelling at me" Ayoko yelled.

"Ayoko you won't ever get into Kingdom Hall if you have this weak attitude!"

Ayoko snapped as his words pierced her ears, everything she did was to get into Kingdom Hall, how dare he say her attitude was weak, she moved her hand to hit him, but instead of hitting him, the wave she was holding moved. She looked at it, she went to smile.

"REAMIAN FOCUSED!" Poseidon bellowed.

Ayoko nodded, she moved her hands around, the wave went around the side of the beach, she grinned as the water listened to her commands.

"Alright Ayoko, now I want you to relax the water" Poseidon instructed,

"Huh?" Ayoko turned and lost focus.

"Ayoko!" Poseidon cried as the wave went crashing towards the beach.

Jellal turned and saw a huge wave coming towards them; he leaned over Erza as the water washed over them.

"Ahhhh" Erza cried as the cold sea water went up her bathing suit, Jellal laughed as the water settled.

Poseidon looked at Ayoko with anger in his large face, the girl smiled, trying to act innocent.

"Oops…"

Jellal helped Erza to her feet, everyone on the beach shook from the cold water, they began leaving. Erza looked into the sea, she saw her daughter standing in the ocean.

"I think she has the right attitude to be in Fairy Tail" Erza smiled.

Jellal turned to see Ayoko coming out of the sea, her God had disappeared, all that remained was a wet beach and an angry sea.

"What makes you say that?" Jellal asked.

"She will test the boundaries regardless of the mess she might make" Erza smiled.

Jellal wrapped his arm around her waist and smiled.

"Her spirit can't be broken" he added as they both watched their daughter walking towards them.

Ayoko slowly made her way back to her parents, they didn't seem as though they were mad, she was a little confused. The wind blew through her long purple hair as she walked along the wet sand; she felt as though she had failed her God, she couldn't control a simple wave. She sighed, just when she thought she was strong her God's would test her and she would realized that she was just weak, she needed to try harder, she needed to become stronger. Ayoko clenched her fists, she would train whenever she could with her God's, her dream was to be in Kingdom Hall but she wouldn't reach that dream if she thought negatively, Ayoko turned and looked at the sea, it was clam now. She may not have been able to control that wave completely but she had held it for a while, so in some ways she was a little stronger than she was yesterday.

"Come on let's go and find your brother" Jellal rested his hand on Ayoko's shoulder, the child turned and smiled. Taking her mum and dad's hand, she walked between them through the soft wind of summer.
