Thursday January 2nd 2014 - Day 39

I rock slowly in the rocking chair in the corner of the nursery, silently eating my ice cream and flipping through the IKEA catalouge resting on my stomach while Monroe puts together the two cribs.

"Oh my gosh Monroe."

"What?" He looks up from his work.

"I think I changed my mind."

"About what? I really hope you know it's a little late in the game to change your mind about having those babies." Monroe sets aside his screwdriver.

"No!" I throw the IKEA catalouge at him, intending to leave a bruise but he catches it, "Asshole."

"Really, about what?"

"Look in there." I point to the magazine in his hands, "Page seventy two I think. The Gulliver, in white." I wait while Monroe flips to the page.

"But I..." He looks from the magazine to the nearly finished cribs, "Okay. I'll take these apart and we can take them back to the store."

"Really?"

"Yeah, of course!" Monroe stands, coming over to kneel in front of me, "When I said I would give you full control of the nursery I meant it, I want you to be happy with it."

"You're the best." I grab the front of his shirt and pull him into a kiss, "And while we're at it can we take back the changing table?"

"What? Why?"

"Changing tables are pointless, like we're going to take the twins all the way up the stairs to use it every time we change them, let's just get a dresser and a changing pad then they can use the dresser as they get older."

"Okay." Monroe rests his head on my stomach, "You still like the shelving though right? Because that was a real pain to put together."

"Yeah I like the shelving." I laugh and Monroe gets kicked in the cheek.

"Good." Monroe sighs, "I can't believe they're almost here."

"I know, just over a month now." I let out a groan, " I don't even want to know how big I'm going to be by the end of this."

"You'll look great." Monroe asures me.

"You're obligated to say that, you're half responsible for this."

"Maybe so but it's true all the same. Now what do you say to lunch?"

"I say yes to lunch, very much yes." Monroe laughs, standing from the floor and helping me up, "Can we go to the Blossoming Lotus? I'm seriously craving some Chinese food."

"Yes of course, whatever you want."

Okay guys, serious note here, to those of you who are repeatedly messaging me to update, please stop. You have to understand that this story is not the highest on my priority list right now. I have a four month old baby, a dog that needs a lot of attention, a wedding to plan, a social life and a full time job, not to mention I just moved five thousand miles away from my family. Yes a nice little, "Please update soon!" at the end of your review, I love that! But ten messages saying flat out, "Update soon." It's really grating on my nerves.

On a better note I'm glad you guys like the names! I'm really sorry if my writing hasn't been quite up to par lately, I've been very busy but I try very hard to write a little something every day and I'm extraordinarily thankful for all of you who have read this far! I love y'all!
