Digimon and Harry Potter
Hermione is a Digidestined, a child chosen to partner up with a Digimon and save the Digital World.
But something makes her different, powerful.
Dangerous.
Of that, she was sure.
"Floramon!" Hermione couldn't do anything as she watched her partner fall to the ground. As she ran forward and held Floramon, begging her to wake up, she felt something inside her snap.
The Digimon around her cried out in pain as their data began dissolving, dissipating. She felt movement against her arm and then gasped in horror; even Floramon's form was becoming pixelated.
"No!" she cried, backing away. Her steps left dust clouds of ones and zeroes as even the ground beneath her feet warped. Hermione looked at all the damage being wrought upon the Digital World and her blood ran cold.
I did this.
She turned and ran, praying that she could get far enough away that whatever it was she was doing would stop hurting her friends, stop hurting Floramon.
So here's a very different Hermione, one that never wanted magic because her accidental magic hurt Digimon and warped the Digital World around her. I figure that since magic disrupts technology, it would do the same to the Digital World.
