Author's Note: So I would like you all to know this was the cursed chapter. But here we are through all these unforeseen obstacles with the latest chapter of When One Ends. I can't believe the time between my last chapter and this one but some things you just can't help. I honestly try to write whenever I get the chance, but most of these times I don't like what I have written. Anyhoo, please ignore my ramblings and enjoy this overdue installment of When One Ends. If you notice typos or anything, just ignore them for now.

Chapter 35: Dreams Do Come True
"Now you put that down young lady."
"Delia, I'm fine."
"You're pregnant, so put it down."
"Delia..."
Delia Ketchum took the tea tray from Daisy's hand despite the pouting from the Brunette. "Now scoot."
Daisy flopped onto the chair and pouted as if she was a spoiled child who did not get their way. "Gosh Delia, you're almost as bad as Kai. I'm just pregnant, I can still handle things myself."
"Well young lady, I am sorry to disappoint you. You won't be doing much handling in my presence."
"Ugh, I should have kept it to myself." complained Daisy. This caused Mrs. Ketchum to giggle. "What's so funny?"
"It wasn't much of well-kept secret Daisy."
"I could have gotten away with it for a month or two more. It's not like I started to show."
"I knew something was up before you all left for Goldenrod."
"I find that hard to believe Delia."
"Well it's true, when you get older you will notice these things. "
"So when did you know I was pregnant Delia?"
"I figured something good happened, since you came in with a Cheshire cat grin on your face. You remember don't you? At breakfast when Misty just suddenly stopped by." Daisy opened her mouth to say something but Mrs. Ketchum continued. "Then you didn't have your customary work is finished wine, and I noticed that you didn't have it for three days in a row. Didn't you notice I just served you ice tea without asking?"
"Geez, just because I stopped drinking Delia?"
"Well sweetie, it is strange for you to not drink your wine after work."
"You two make me sound like I'm an alcoholic."
"Two?"
"Yeah, Kai said the same thing. He noticed that I stopped drinking but he thought it was a lifestyle change. Or something of the sort."
"Well that's good that he was paying attention to you sweetie."
"I guess it was." said Daisy under her breath as she took another sip of her tea.
"Hmmm? Sounds like you weren't too sure he was."
"Yeah, but I think uncertain as hell would be a more accurate description. I mean we weren't even dating, it just happened. Then these two just happened and that just made me even more anxious. You know how his personality was in the past, Mr. Wanderer. He was the definition of a rolling stone. I didn't want to tell him and then he felt that he had to be rooted in Pallet Town. Being stuck in one place, transforming him into somebody he wasn't. Growing to slowly hate who he was becoming and eventually taking it out on those around him. I wanted to be the branch that saved the rolling stone from falling off a cliff, not the vine that halted its progress." Daisy inhaled deeply as she could feel the past anxiety start to surface, and with the exhale she calmed herself once more.
"Sounds like you were facing an internal storm there sweetie, but I'm glad to hear that Kai was almost as excited as you."
"Yeah" said Daisy, ending with a smile.
"I loved that rolling stone analogy by the way."
"To be honest Delia, those were all Kai's words." this caused Mrs. Ketchum to laugh lightly. "You're saying I couldn't come up with it?"
"It's not that dearie, I just imagined him saying those exact words. That phrase was definitely an expression created by Kai." Mrs. Ketchum put down her cup and breathed in to recover from her little bout of laughter. "There is one thing I don't get though."
"What don't you get Delia?" Daisy queried as she refilled her cup.
"When did this happen?"
"This?"
"By this, I mean you and Kai. I don't know whether to call it a relationship...can I call it a relationship now?"
"Yeah, you can say we are in a relationship now."
"So when did this relationship bloom?"
"At Goldenrod." replied Daisy, earning a glare from Mrs. Ketchum. "Well that was when we finally decided to label what we were doing."
"Let me rephrase the question then, when did whatever you two were doing before Goldenrod occur?"
"From the first time we met."
"You mean when I introduced him to you when you came over for breakfast?"
"Not exactly..." Daisy took a sip from her cup. "We sort of met before that."
This response definitely piqued Mrs. Ketchum's curiosity. "Which was?"
"About two weeks before he came to Pallet." she replied.
"Daisy, you know exactly what I want to hear, so out with it."
"But I just answered..." Delia once again gave Daisy a slight glance out of the corner of her eye."...fine Delia." Daisy knew better than to not give her what she wanted to know. "Well it started when I visited Viridian City..."
"Thanks once again Daisy, that Sentret wouldn't listen to a soul." said Nurse Joy.
"Your thanks aren't needed Nurse Joy. You know that dealing with troublesome Pokémon is a specialty of mine, whenever you need help just call me and I will gladly assist. Besides, it gives me an excuse to come to Viridian and shop." replied Daisy, a smile on her face. "Now if you won't be needing my assistance any more for today, I'm going to take my leave." Waving farewell to Nurse Joy and the other attendants of the Pokémon Center, Daisy made her way downtown.
The City of Viridian was bustling as always, people hustling and in a rush with no apparent destination. Daisy simply stood out like a red fish in a sea of white, while everybody was hurriedly darting to and fro. Here was Daisy almost skipping down the sidewalks, whistling a tune to herself. The prospect of shopping the reason for that slender smile adorning her face. It didn't take very long for that smile to broaden as she turned onto her favourite boulevard. Daisy was a small storm, as it only took her a matter of two hours to now have her empty hands filled with bags from various shops. With no space left for additional bags Daisy decided that this was enough for this visit. Her next stop, her favourite bistro which fortunately wasn't that far away from her current location. As she approached the building, Daisy realized that there was still some stragglers from the lunch crowd. She decided to wait since her day was pretty much done, she could afford to wait on the line if their specialty latte was her reward.
"Assistance is available, if so you wish It." came a voice from behind. Needless to say Daisy was slightly startled. She spun around and then realized she had to adjust her gaze upwards to meet the source of the voice. What greeted her was a pair of emerald eyes that she found herself being pulled into. Willing herself to escape from their trance, with bags still in hand she flexed her arms. "Thanks, but I'm a big girl. I can handle these small things."
The green haired giant just smirked at her. "That I can see clearly."
Daisy thought nothing more of the stranger until the line in front of her began to decrease in size. She was rather surprised, their customer service was good but this was exemplary. As she found herself next in line the stranger's voice met her ears.
"The offer has not rescinded."
Without saying a word, Daisy simply curled her biceps in response. With her turn to order, she stepped to the barista and placed her order. The stranger behind her did the same and stood next to her, she took the opportunity to size him up but thought nothing else of it. The stranger received his order, but Daisy noticed that he didn't make any attempt to move from his current position.
"The order not to your taste?"
"The order satisfies, it's just that the winds tell me to stay."
"The winds?" before Daisy could press the issue further...
"Order 90!"
"That's me!" Daisy stepped to the counter to receive her order and in reaching for it she realized something. She looked at the stranger, who now had a knowing smirk on his face. This caused Daisy to smile in return, her arms now akimbo. Daisy stepped up to the stranger, placed her bags on the floor in front of him, got his order and hers and simply pointed to the window seat. Picking up on her instructions the green haired stranger collected their belongings and followed her. As she sat down, he placed their bags neatly besides their table and sat opposite her.
"The winds huh?"
"Correct."
Daisy took a sip and looked at the single drawstring bag next to the stranger. "Travelling I see."
"A journey to destiny as it seems."
"Did the winds inform you of this destination?"
"Simply a suggestion."
"Seems like the winds dictate a lot of things in your life."
"Dictate, no. The winds carry words of enlightenment, it is up to yourself to listen. It's up to your own being to follow."
"So you aren't afraid that you are making a mistake going on this journey."
"A mistake only occurs when you are dead, while not positive it is indeed a lesson. "
"Optimistic outlook on life Mr..."
The stranger then placed his cup gently on the table and looked at Daisy. "That mystery will be unraveled in the future."
"Who is to say this isn't the last time we meet each other."
"The winds whisper favourably of our reunion."
"And if the winds are wrong? Who is to say I walk out of this cafe and never cross your path again."
"Then I believe for the first time in my life, I will have regret." The stranger looked Daisy straight into her eyes, she felt as if their gaze was peering straight into her soul exposing all of her inner secrets.
Daisy had to will herself to break his trance. "You sir, are very dangerous. Sweet and sincere but dangerous. "
"So are you wary of me?"
"I just get the feeling if I let you pull me in, I won't be able to return."
"Who is to say you would want to?"
Daisy took a sip of the house specialty in her cup and glanced in the stranger's direction. "Very dangerous."
This caused a light laugh to escape from the green haired stranger. "Vulnerable is something you are not."
"The winds tell you this?"
"Not the winds, just personal experiences. The most dangerous beasts know how to hide their claws."
Daisy looked at her hands, paying particular attention to her nails. She turned her palms back and forth. "By whatever do you mean? Claws?"
This caused the stranger to laugh lightly once more. "It seems we both should be wary of each other."
Daisy couldn't help but give one of her mischievous smiles in reply. Her eyes then glanced at her watch and realized that she had spent more time than planned. "My apologies Mr. I Will Tell You My Name At Another Time, but I must be off."
"Until when we meet again." The stranger got up and started reaching for Daisy's belongings.
"Ah ah ah." she lightly knocked away his reaching hand. "I told you before sir, I'm a big girl." she flexed her arms once more to reiterate her point. "
"Forgive me how could I forget. So until destiny brings us together again. Farewell Wonder Woman." The stranger couldn't help but watch Daisy's figure saunter out of the restaurant and onto the still crowded streets of downtown Viridian. Daisy stopped in front of the window where they were seated and blew a kiss to the then stranger before waving goodbye and beginning the journey back home.
"So that explains why you two seemed so comfortable with each other at the breakfast table."
"Well..."
Mrs. Ketchum just sighed. "Just get on with it Daisy."
"It happened earlier that same morning Delia..."
Daisy stretched as she yawned, it was way too early for her to be up. Unfortunately for her, both her grandfather and younger brother were out of town. Which meant that the morning preparations she usually left to those two, were now her duty. Daisy walked nervously along the walkway of the Oak laboratory. The fog from the nearby forest was still heavily set in the town, giving it an almost ominous feeling. Daisy tried to ignore the thoughts racing through her head. Scenarios of horror movies, images of creatures lunging out of the dark dancing through her mind. Her only comfort was that she knew she was in Pallet Town and nothing like that ever happens in Pallet Town. She stood in the entrance of the Oak facility, rubbing her arms to gain warmth, when it seemed as if one of her scenarios started to play out. In the fog, a shadow started to form. Daisy's eyes grew wider as the shadow seemed to be drawing closer and closer to her. She swore she heard a voice calling out to her, but Daisy wasn't about to answer. She blinked her eyes to make sure she wasn't hallucinating but the figure did not disappear. Daisy thought it would be best to flee and then launch an investigation later. She began taking step backwards, but unfortunately the bane of any woman in a horror movie struck. Her heel, out of all the times she walked to and from work, decided it was the right opportunity to lodge itself in the cobblestone pathway. She felt herself begin to lose balance, she screamed and prepared to hit the ground but that never happened. She felt her body being supported by a powerful arm, the warmth emanating unexpectedly soothing her nerves.
"Fright was not my intention." came a voice, a voice that Daisy had not expected to hear from again. Her curiosity getting the better of her, Daisy opened her eyes only to be lost in the emerald pools belonging to the stranger she met in Viridian.
"It's you!" she shouted.
"Indeed, your expression shows doubt."
Daisy regained her balance and now stood in front of the towering stranger. "I don't believe it, I must be dreaming." she mumbled underneath her breath. She then stepped into the stranger's body, her head having to tilt so that she could look him straight in the eye.
"With assurance..." the stranger was cut off, as Daisy pulled him into a passionate kiss. The eloquent stranger was now at a loss for words.
"I am definitely not dreaming, I never get to kiss the guy in my dreams." Daisy took a few steps back. "I can't believe it really is you. Mr..."
"Mr. Nirvana, Kai Nirvana." the shock had worn off of the former stranger.
"So what brings you to our quiet town of Pallet, Mr. Nirvana?"
"I'm here at the request of Ash Ketchum."
"What business do you have with Ashy boy?"
"He gave me the offer of being his assistant gym leader."
"So this is the destiny the winds spoke of?"
"The wind is mysterious, sole reliance on its whims are not advised."
"So if things don't work out you would be off again?"
"The future is the only one that can give you that answer."
"What if you found something else to make you stay?" asked Daisy ending with a flirtatious grin.
"Then maybe it wasn't the gym the winds whispered of."
"You are definitely a dangerous one Mr. Nirvana."
Kai simply smiled. "Apologies for our short reunion but could you possibly direct me to Ash's residence Ms...?"
"Ms. Oak, Daisy Oak. No need to apologize, I'm sure we will see more of each other from now on." Daisy then stepped to Kai and gently pulled his hand, letting him know that he should follow. They walked in a comfortable silence until Daisy suddenly stopped. "You simply walk straight from here, they live on the last house on the right. Mr. Mime or Delia should be in the garden by now, just simply tell them who you are and they will gladly help you."
Kai adjusted the draw string bag on his shoulder and started walking in the direction Daisy told him. He simply waved goodbye to her, leaving Daisy to watch his figure disappear along the road. Daisy turned back to the Laboratory, a noticeable skip in her step.
"You kissed him?!" let out a shocked Delia. Mrs. Ketchum wasn't as old fashioned as she seemed but she knew Daisy and this was definitely out of the extraordinary for her.
"Well it's true Delia, I never get to kiss Prince Charming in my dreams. No matter the situation I always wake up right before our lips touch."
"I guess that's one way to definitely confirm it, considering he was the last person you expected to see in Pallet Town. Still was surprising that you kissed him Daisy."
"Why is that Delia?"
"Well it's no secret you are a flirt Daisy, but you never cross the physical barrier."
"You are right about that Delia, but with Kai it just seemed natural."
"So from that point on you two became, whatever you were?"
"You know what Delia, we barely had time to talk with each other since that breakfast. Between his training with Ash, his personal training, his training with Melanie and of course me working in the lab. There wasn't any time left, and when I was off from work he was down by the gym helping with the construction."
"That's definitely true, he is a very busy young man." Delia poured another cup of tea, her body jerked up as if she was remembering something. "What about the time I left you two on the balcony?"
"We did nothing but talk."
"Nothing but talk." Delia repeated, the disbelief evident in her tone of voice.
"Why yes Delia, I am capable of being completely innocent and not pushing the envelope. Did you know he was from Kanto?"
"Yes, from Saffron I believe."
"Yeah, he lived on the outskirts with his mother. Due to being close to Route 8, he met a lot of travelers. In fact that was where he met his Tai Chi master, he was a wandering martial artists who frequented Saffron so whenever he was in town he showed Kai a thing or two. Now that I think about it, that's probably where he got the roaming idea from."
"Well that's what he told me, not in those exact words because you know how Kai doesn't answer anything straight forward."
"His way of speaking does make for some interesting stories. The stories he shared about his travels, he could give Ashy Boy a run for his money."
"I think it's why the two of them get along so well if you ask me. The love of travel, Pokémon and the passion for battling." Delia stirred her tea idly, as she found her mind slightly perplexed. She decided to ask since she could not formulate an answer on her own. "If you two did barely saw each other, why did you decide to let him stay with you all at the Oak estate?"
Daisy put her cup down. "Actually Delia; that was your suggestion. I simply agreed to it."
"That may be so, but that still doesn't change the fact that you gave him the spare room, on your wing, that just happened to be a mere door down from you."
"Nothing but a coincidence I assure you." said Daisy avoiding the glare of Mrs. Ketchum.
"Must have made for an interesting first night. Especially with Gary and Sam not in town."
"It was rather disappointing if you ask me. He simply moved his things over, he treated me to dinner to show his appreciation, we talked for a few minutes afterwards and then we went to bed. Side note Delia, you must have Kai cook for you. He doesn't like to do it, but he definitely has a way in the kitchen."
"Noted, but are you sure that's all that happened?" pried Delia.
"On my heart Delia, nothing happened." said Daisy as she took drank from her cup.
"So what about the next night?" asked Delia. This caused Daisy to gulp audibly, a sign that Mrs. Ketchum did not miss. Neither the faint blush that came across her face as well. "Go on..."
"Delia..."
"Yes Daisy?"
"Do I have to?"
"Would you rather tell me, or wait till Veronica comes home so she can get it out of you?"
Daisy sighed in defeat. "Well what happened was..."
"Ugh, how was the day this long." complained Daisy as she trudged through the front door. The labours of the day had zapped all of her energy, she simply let her bag slump off her shoulder to the floor. She then discarded her jacket onto the nearest chair, making a mental note to retrieve it at the earliest time possible. She took a few steps and then realized her feet were still shackled by the heels she wore. With a deep sigh she bent down, unbuckled their straps. The left foot first, she threw it behind her and heard it hit the floor, then came the right which she treated the same way but there wasn't the same result.
"The daily trials exhausted your soul to its limits."
In truth Daisy was startled, she was just too tired to show it. She had completely forgotten that Kai now took residence with them. "Nice catch Kai." The shoe she flung had decided the top of Kai's head would be an ideal landing spot. Daisy then returned her focus to getting to her room so that she could collapse onto her bed or floor, depends on how she felt when then door opened. This was her intention, but her feet were definitely not in the mood to cooperate. 'Please move, I promise you that we only need to do this process about 50 times, so that's 25 steps for each of you. We can do it guys, and I promise not to move you guys any more for today and probably less tomorrow.' she pleaded to her uncooperative limbs. Daisy continued to stare at the floor but only could sigh as her pleading was for nothing.
Kai placed the shoe that landed on top of his head along with its compatriot in the proper place, as well as hanging up Daisy's discarded coat. He then stepped up behind Daisy and leaned in to her ear.
"Close your eyes, and on the count of three inhale deeply." Daisy nodded to acknowledge his instructions. "1...2...3"
Daisy did as she was instructed, and as soon as she heard three she felt two incise presses, almost jabs on each shoulder.
"Now exhale"
Daisy breathed out and felt a surge of energy pulse through her body. "Wow..."
"Your journey can continue now." said Kai. He then bowed to say he was leaving and began to turn the corner.
"Kai!" Daisy shouted, calling for Kai's return. Kai reappeared from around the corner, with a questioning glance. "What did you just do?"
"Minor rejuvenation."
"Which was?"
"Your aura was unable to flow, I simply removed a few barriers."
"So you can see my aura?"
"To say see, is not accurate. Sense would be better placed."
"So do you sense more barriers?"
"Indeed."
"So remove them."
"Your desire is to get to your room to sleep, I have enabled that ability in you. To release your barriers will drain you not provide a renewed source of energy today. It will be akin to a dam bursting and wiping away everything in its path."
"So do I sign a contract to say I understand the risks or something?"
"I must advise against it." Kai then looked into Daisy's eyes to see her determination. "You care not for my warning."
"I trust the fact that you know what you are doing Kai. I know that you wouldn't perform something that would seriously cause harm to my body. So let's go Mr. Nirvana, I am in your care." Daisy extended her arms, which caused Kai for the second time today to give her a questioning glance. "All this talking has drained me, I can't move anymore." Kai didn't even bother to question Daisy, he knew better when he saw that mischievous glint in her eye. He cradled her into his arms and headed off, her room being there destination. Thankfully, Daisy left the door open, so Kai didn't have to put Daisy down since his foot was all that was needed to enter the door.
"My return is fifteen minutes from now, your attire should consist only of this robe." said Kai as he rested Daisy on the bed. Fifteen minutes passed and Kai returned to see that Daisy had not moved from the spot he laid her down on. "Do you request postponement?"
"Not at all, it's just that I'm too drained to move."
"So anoth..."
"Take them off for me." interrupted Daisy.
"Apologies Ms. Oak, but I do not..."
"Are you admitting that you cannot control yourself Mr. Nirvana?"
"My will is adamant, what I set I do."
"So set it to just put this robe on me and nothing else."
"As you wish." Kai pulled Daisy to her feet and did as asked, removing article after article.
"Can't stop staring Mr. Nirvana?"
"If a masterpiece is before you, how can one not look?" Daisy opened her mouth to reply but that was interrupted by Kai's movements. He had fastened her robe and swiftly placed her in his arms once again. As he turned left, Daisy started to wonder where he was going.
"Isn't our bathroom that way?" said Daisy while pointing in the opposite direction.
"That will not suffice for tonight, a tub would be needed for preparation."
As they entered the master bathroom Daisy's nostrils were blasted with the soothing herbal aroma that permeated the air. As Kai approached the bath, the aroma became stronger and stronger, a light mist almost began to form on the surface of the water. Kai didn't bother asking Daisy to get into the water, he simply set her down, disrobed her and sank her slowly into the water. Daisy only sighed as she was introduced to the bath water. As each inch of her body got under the surface, she felt as if that limb disappeared and dissolved in the liquid.
"This is heavenly Mr. Nirvana."
"This is meant to make phase two easier on your body. Now cleanse yourself as I prepare."
"I would Kai, I really would but I can't feel any of my limbs. Will you?"
Daisy knew she was definitely pushing her flirting to the extreme. She was hell bent on getting a reaction out of Kai. No matter how much women a man might have been with over the years, presented with new territory there should be a reaction, a moment where they lose self-control. It's just ingrained in their nature, the same way a shark reacts to blood in the water. It's just something they cannot control, yet here was Kai proving there are those that define the exception to the rule. As instructed Kai started the task at hand, it seems it was not Daisy who was not prepared. She found herself fighting not to let the sounds forming in her mouth to escape. Kai's hands sensually stuck to their task, running along every inch of her skin. Removing the accumulated grime from the day's labours with nothing but respect and dignity. Never did his hands pry or stay in her intimate spots unnecessarily, there was no vulgarity in his motions. Daisy however did get a reaction out of him as he cleansed her chest. As he hand glanced her nipple, she lost a battle from the war she was fighting with her mouth. Her reaction causing a smirk to cross Kai's face.
"Finished." was all Kai said as he got up to prepare the next phase, leaving a heavily breathing Daisy in the tub behind him.
Daisy's eyes were closed but she could hear the rustling caused by Kai's motions and then the noise stopped. She opened her eyes, looking up to see Kai just patiently waiting on the edge of the tub. "Phase two is ready?"
"Are you capable of it?"
"What did I tell you the first time we met Kai? I'm a big girl, I can handle more than you think."
"Yet, you request my assistance again?"
"If you do not mind, kind sir."
Kai simply smirked as he assisted Daisy out of the bath. He dried her off despite her protests, accusing Kai that he was tickling her. As he threw the towels to the floor, Daisy posed a question.
"Don't I need to be covered for the next part?"
"That would only cause an obstruction." Kai picked Daisy into his arms once again and rested her onto the table. He instructed her to lay down on her stomach so that he may proceed. "This is my personal ointment, if it becomes too intense for you. Please inform me as I do not want any unwanted side effects."
"Gotcha Kai."
Kai could only shake his head as he was certain that Daisy just brushed away his warning. Daisy waited with anticipation, wondering why Kai would give her such a warning for something as simple as a massage. She felt as his finger poked certain spots along the backside of her body, and each spot he hit started to become warmer than usual. The heat began to increase as each second passed, almost to the point where Daisy began to become slightly concerned. That was until Kai's hands coated her with a gel that cooled her body, the uncomfortable heat now replaced with a prickling sensation that made her begin to wriggle slightly. Fortunately for her, Kai noticed her slight discomfort and swiftly went to work. His hands deftly kneaded and prodded her flesh providing sensations that ranged from pain to pleasure. Each gasp that escaped her mouth relayed what sensation she was feeling. The gasps soon melded into an expression of pleasure as Kai applied another gel that Daisy felt he pushed underneath her muscles. Kai however did not give her the time to enjoy the euphoric sensation as he now placed her on her back and started the process over. The sensation of fire, then to an electric shock followed by the cooling sensation that pleasurably chilled her body.
"It seems your boast was not a jest." Daisy looked at Kai from the corner of her eye, she wanted to reply but her body was having a hard time coordinating its actions.
All she managed was an exasperated exhale. Kai rolled her up into a towel and gathered her once again in his arms. Daisy found her head's resting place on his shoulders as he returned her to her room. Thinking his passenger to be asleep Kai rested her on top of the covers, removed her towel, with her nightly attire in hand he intended to prepare her for a night's sleep. As he reached to dress her, he noticed Daisy's hand protesting his action.
"I can take it..." she exhaled deeply "From here Kai."
"As you wish." Kai stepped to the door but Daisy's hand latched on in his passing.
"No phase three?"
"Another phase?"
"No happy ending? Nothing to finish off such a wonderful massage?"
"As you wish, just lay down."
As instructed Daisy laid down, she looked as Kai leaned in over her placing a kiss on her forehead, then onto her lips. He placed one each side of her neck, then to the middle of her chest. He lightly kissed each breast before returning to the center of her chest once again. He left a trail of kisses down her abdomen, Daisy closed her eyes in anticipation of him reaching her desired destination. Then she realized that the warmth from his body could no longer be felt and her eyes flew open to see what had happened. She found that Kai no longer was in front of her, his voice did however did allow her eyes to find him.
"Goodnight Ms. Oak, pleasant dreams."
"...and that's when he just upped and left me."
Mrs. Ketchum had to put her cup down due to her laughter. "Serves you right sweetie. I can imagine you had a hard time sleeping after that."
"I did, but it's not he who laughs first but he in this case she that laughs last."
"What did you do?"
"After an hour or so I went into his room and rode his face like a rodeo." said Daisy with a sly grin.
"Oh my..." said Delia a slight blush across her face. "...so how was it?"
"You know how he gives sentences for short answers?"
"Yeah?"
"Well he wrote a best-selling novel on my body."
"That's good to hear dearie." Mrs. Ketchum took a sip and then perked up as something didn't add up in her head. "So this turned your affair more physical then?"
"Technically yes, it mainly involved him giving me massages when I asked. As well as the occasional happy endings if I asked."
"I know I'm from an older generation but some things don't change. A tongue, doesn't make twins Daisy."
"Well we eventually got to that point Delia..." Daisy pointed to her belly. "Obviously"
"So obviously what I want to know is, how did the first time go?"
"You really are prying today Delia."
"You must forgive me Daisy. Sam is out of town again, Ash and Kai are busy with the gym, Kazia is off to who knows where and Melanie is fast asleep in her home. So I need something to pass the time."
"And my stories just fit that need of yours."
"To be honest I wanted to ask you a long time ago, just never got the chance to sit down and squeeze it out of you."
"Fine, I think we took it to the next level after Kazia's birthday party. If it was the night or the following morning those details I am a little cloudy on..."
"I want pancakes." Daisy mumbled.
"In the morning" was Kai's reply.
"You better make them." she mumbled underneath her breath.
Kai could only shake his head at the drunk antics of his brunette housemate. Thankfully the Oak's residence was in sight, her constant stirring was beginning to put a strain on his arms. His decision to work out after working at the gym construction site was proving not to be the wisest decision. Making the familiar journey down their wing, he opened her door, resting her onto her bed. As he turned to leave, Daisy called out to him.
"Kai, this bed is big enough for two."
"If under more sober times, your request I would gladly take."
"I don't want to sleep alone tonight Kai." groggily admitted Daisy.
After that admission, Kai found it impossible to deny her request. Removing his shoes and his shirt he laid on his back next to Daisy. Who in turn decreased the space between them to almost nothing as she wrapped her arm around his chest, and intertwined her leg with his. In a matter of minutes the two found themselves drifting off to sleep. That was until about two hours later. Kai started to feel a sensation in his lower region that he should not be. He opened his eyes to see the source behind this invasion. The source was indeed as he thought, the supposedly slumbering Brunette beside him. Kai looked at her to see that she was still indeed sleeping, with no harm truly being done he removed her hand from his pants. As Kai started to drift back to sleep he felt the sensation once again opening one eye this time, he saw that her hand had once again wandered.
"Mine..." is simply what she mumbled as she now began to fondle more vigorously.
Seeing as letting this continue would lead to a path, a path Kai didn't want to head down with an intoxicated and apparently dreaming Daisy. So as before Kai removed her hand, but only this time he held it between his. Since she did not resist, Kai deemed it safe to once again return to the land of slumber. This journey did not last as long as he would have liked. He opened his eyes once he heard rustling, in time to bear witness to Daisy now moving swinging her whole body on top of him. Initially Kai was wary, but as she remained stationary he thought nothing of it. That was until he started to feel her waist to gyrate slowly against his. At this time, he remembered his past mistake. The mistake of not fastening his pants, one that he regretting as certain body parts started to have an increased blood flow. Mainly due to the proximity of his member to her opening, which was thankfully still being contained by her underwear. As Kai began to realize his will was starting to fade, it was time for decisive action. Being as gentle as possible he flipped her onto her back and escaped to the side of the bed. Taking in a breath of relief, he looked over to see that Daisy was still fast asleep, her idle sleep talk sparsely coming in. Kai was about to leave, when he remembered the reason he agreed to staying in Daisy's presence. Kai positioned himself, so that his head can lean on the bed and with his hand he once again clasped hers.
"Kai you're my Prince Charm..." muttered the slumbering brunette. Kai could only smile before positioning himself comfortably to sleep.
The morning came, and surprisingly the first to stir from their slumber was the most intoxicated of the two. Her eyes slowly opened and was met with an image that made her smile. On the side of her bed she gazed upon Kai, still sleeping obviously unware that she had woken up. Her eyes then fell upon something that made her smile broaden, there was the sleeping Kai still holding onto her hand. Daisy slowly removed her hand from his grip and made her way to the side of the bed. She kissed his forehead gently, but noticed he did not stir. A slight frown momentarily flashed across her face as she didn't get the results she expected. Who would have thought the ever attentive Kai Nirvana was so susceptible when he slept. Not to be easily deterred she smoothly slid off the bed and made her way to the side of the bed Kai was resting on. She stood over the slumbering emerald haired battle master, another mischievous smile on her face. With a PLOP she just landed on his lap and much to her dismay Kai had no reaction. Her arms now crossed and her cheeks puffed from annoyance she glared at Kai.
"The question if your sleep was of quality has been answered." spoke Kai, despite his eyes remaining closed and his head in the same position.
"You were awake all this time?"
"I was aware that you had arisen."
"So why didn't you move?"
"Was there a need?"
"So the touch of my lips weren't enough of a reason to stir?"
"Prince Charming was not the one stirred by a kiss."
Daisy's blush painted her cheeks a deep red. "How did you?"
"Whispers of slumber."
"So does that mean you heard everything?"
"The words were few, the actions did dictate the summary of your dreams events."
"My actions?" Daisy blinked a few times then the answer which she sought came to her mind. "You don't mean that I grabbed..." She looked down between her legs, Kai nodded in response. "So that means we also..." she bucked her hips twice to illustrate her thoughts.
"Those actions were interrupted."
"Why?"
Kai was slightly taken aback by the question Daisy posed. "Why?"
"Yes Kai, why?"
""Due to..."
"Wait is that the reason you are on the floor?" interrupted Daisy.
"My reasons were due to your..."
"To my what? I just don't get you Mr. Nirvana. You spout all these beautiful descriptions of me. You continuously flirt and entertain my advances. Hell, you even decide to give me orgasms with that skillful tongue of yours. Yet whenever I decide to make things mutual, or to return the favor you run. Does my aura warn you of dissatisfaction? Am I no..." This time it was Kai who was the one who interrupted. His method slightly differed, instead of words he used his lips to seal her lashing tongue.
Daisy broke from Kai's lips grasp. "That doesn't let me know anything different."
Kai just placed his hands on each side of her face, and then kissed her gently. "My actions have betrayed my thoughts and created a web of misunderstanding. "
"So explain."
"It was not the time, obstructions always appear."
"Kai, honestly? Is this the excuse you are going to give me? Is this supposed to make me feel better?"
"I am a person who needs no excuses, simply relive the moments and you will see that I am in reason for my explanation."
"What about the time your head was between my legs in the living room?"
"Your grandfather returned."
"That's not true, you simply let me climax and got up. After I recovered, I had to go looking to see if you were even still in the house. If I recall, you had started meditating in your room." this caused Daisy to punch him on the shoulder.
Unfazed by her assault Kai spoke. "And why did you not disturb me from my meditation when you found me?"
"That was because..." then it dawned on Daisy. "...oh."
"See."
"That was a coincidence Kai, because Gramps came about 15 minutes after our living room rendezvous."
"Fifteen minutes would only allow us to enter to cave of ecstasy, driven by impulses to continue our journey of pleasure a disturbance we would not heed. Seeing his granddaughter in such a state, is not something Professor Oak would enjoy."
"Hmmmm, fine. You have a point there, but what about in the kitchen?"
"Gary returned home."
"After work that one time?"
"Ash came with a request from Mrs. Ketchum."
Daisy sat with her arms folded, playing back all the times that she and Kai spent together just to find one that did not end as he stated.
"Misunderstandings cleared?"
"Yes, for now Mr. Nirvana. It's only until I can think of something."
"I shall be waiting, but this does bring something to my attention?"
"What's that?"
Kai leaned in and whispered into her ears. "Time is available..." Daisy perked up as she felt Kai's hands underneath her skirt, making his way into her underwear only to grasp on to her behind. "...to make dreams come true."
Daisy had a sultry grin on her face. "You're my Prince Charming, that is one thing I know you can do." She kissed him lightly on his lips, then once again more deeply. She broke away, causing Kai to lean in only for her to stop him by placing a finger on his advancing lips. "My dream included pancakes afterwards."
"Your dreams, I will make your reality."
"...and there we have it. I don't think you would want to hear all the details of that moment."
"I think you gave a little too much there to start with Daisy." Delia filled her cup. "I take it Kai filled you in on the parts where you were sleeping."
"In his own way, yes. I don't think it happened as he said, so, I had to make some improvements."
Mrs. Ketchum just chuckled then took another sip of tea. "I must say Daisy, this box you brought over. This tea is truly the definition of decadent. The aroma is so relaxing and the taste, it confuses your tongue into whether it's sweet, tangy. But one thing is for certain, it is definitely refreshing."
"I would say thank you, but that would be stealing the thunder from the soul that actually found this gem."
"Oh? Did Gary bring it home?"
"Not at all, it was Prince Charming himself."
"Really?"
"Yep, he got it to me for Christmas. Said he stopped by a store on the way home from Viridian. He said, and this is a direct quote 'Upon the journey of return an aroma halted my progress. It claimed that to add sunshine to any morning.' "
"So was it the tea or the aroma that whispered to him?"
"The answer to your query is the tea." The owner of the voice emerged through the patio doors.
"You're home early Kai."
"Merely a brief reunion." He gave Mrs. Ketchum a light kiss on her cheek before he moved over to the mother of his children. He kissed her on her cheek, and on her lips in greeting.
"Ugh Kai, your sweaty." she mockingly pushed him away.
"With such enthusiastic refusal of my affection, you are indeed faring well. Mentally at ease, I bid you farewell until our lengthy reunion." Bowing to complete his show of leave, Kai then bounded over the Ketchum's fence and headed back towards the gym.
"It's so sweet that he checks up on you like this."
"That's my fairy tale dream come true, my Prince Charming."
Author's Note: There you have it, the latest chapter. I won't make any promises here about the increased frequency of chapters or anything. But hopefully after next month I will have some time on my hands to do things properly and put together a schedule. So until next time.
