Again thank you for reading this story. I love to hear your feedback. I love doing these little snapshots. I hope you are enjoying them. Let me know what you think. I want to keep going on this for a while just because I can't seem to put this story to rest because of everything that has happened in the last months while I was writing this story. I just feel like writing this story will keep Cory going and I guess I'm not ready to say goodbye just yet. Thanks again for reading.

"Rachel, he is two months old. He is going to be fine."

"But I haven't left him before. I don't know if I can do it."

Finn rolled his eyes. Carole made plans to take Rachel out for a girls' day. It was something that Rachel really needed. It had been two months since Liam had been born and she hadn't left him longer than to take a shower. It was time for her to have some time for herself, even if she didn't realize it herself.

Finn said, "Babe, you have to trust me. He's my boy, too. You haven't left him alone with me longer than for you to take a shower. Do you not trust me?"

Rachel told him, "Of course I trust you."

"Then go out with mom for the day. We will be fine. We are going to have a guys' day of our own. I'm going to teach him how to play video games and show him the wonders of football."

"He is two months old, Finn! You can't corrupt his tiny, innocent mind so early."

"Babe, I'm just kidding about the video games part. We are going to have some father/son bonding over some football though. You have nothing to worry about. I just want some time to get to know my son, you know."

Tears were falling down Rachel's cheeks. "I just can't leave him. I haven't been away from him before. He doesn't like the bottle."

"Baby, I understand that you are attached to him, but what are you going to do when you start school?"

"That's why I am deferring another semester. I just can't leave him yet. College will still be there in the fall. I'll be able to start with everyone else that way. I just want more time with him and you."

"You know that I work at the station all the time."

"I know, but when I start school I will have even less time with you. I don't know how we are going to do it."

"Mom is retiring early, remember? She is a little excited to get to spend every day with our awesome little man. I totally get that you are going to miss him, I do every day that I am at work, but you need to go to school."

Rachel lowered her head. "I know. I will. I just don't want to leave him at a daycare while he is so tiny."

"I was left at a daycare when I was young. Did I not turn out alright?"

"Of course you did, but he is our boy. He's my little man and I don't want to miss anything. He is changing so much already. I can only imagine what is going to happen when he hits the months where he is learning, changing and developing all the time."

Finn kissed her head. "Please give me today. I am begging you. You need to get out of the house. I have him under control. I promise. I know you need a break from baby duty no matter how much you love him."

Rachel sighed. "I guess you are right."

"Thank you. We are going to be fine."

Rachel walked over to Liam's crib and picked him up. She picked him up and tickled his stomach causing him to smile, which was a new development. She said, "Hi baby boy! Mommy is going to miss you so much today. Have a good day with daddy. Mommy will be home later and she's going to hold you all night. I love you so much, Lee Lee."

Finn took Liam and said, "Tell mommy to have a good day, bub. We are going to watch some football and have a guys' day while mommy goes shopping. We all know how much you hate shopping, so nana is going to go with her."

Rachel kissed both of her boys and said, "If you need anything, call me. I'll be home as soon as I can get here."

"Rach, we are going to be fine. Have a good day. Don't worry so much. Mom has specific orders not to let you call more than four times."

"Four times?"

"I know you, Rachel Hudson. You may have just turned 19, but you are in momma mode. You are going to be calling like crazy to check up on us. Now get out of here. We will see you later tonight. You can put on a fashion show for us to show us what you got."

Rachel's eyes were getting glassy again as she said, "Okay. I guess I will see you later. I love you."

Finn smiled. "We love you, too. That is why we are doing this. Mommy needs some pamper time." Finally, Rachel was on her way out the door.

Finn sat down on the couch with Liam on his chest and said, "Okay, bub. It's just us dudes for the day. I'm going to finally teach you about football. You know, your daddy used to be a quarterback. Maybe someday when you get older and bigger you can be a quarterback, too. I don't know how much your mommy will like that, but I'll stand up for you. It's hard for her to tell me no. I love you so much, little man."

Liam looked up at him and smiled. It warmed Finn's heart to see the little boy that looked so much like himself. He couldn't have been more proud of the little life that he and Rachel had created. He was looking forward to watching him grow.

Liam started to whimper. He said, "If you are anything like daddy, you have to be starving. Let's go warm you up some of the good stuff. I know you don't like those dumb bottles, but that is all we have right now until mommy gets home. Do me a favor and eat for daddy."

Finn sat back down in front of the television to watch more of the game as Liam ate. Finn smiled at the little boy that was taking the bottle without a problem. Then he heard the door open.

Puck and Beth came in the living room. Beth came over and sat next to Finn. She said, "Hi Lee Lee."

Finn smiled and told her, "He says hi too. He is really hungry. I'm sure he would like it if you would play with him after he is finished eating."

Puck said, "I see you are finally teaching him right and introducing him to football."

"Of course. He can't be in this house and not know about football, right?"

"You got that right. How long did it take to get Rach out of here this morning?"

"Twenty minutes or so. She cried."

"That's Rach. She is so attached to him."

"I think that just has to do with her past, you know."

"Yeah. The two of you are doing so good with him. He is a lucky little guy."

"Thanks, man. Have you figured out a way of getting out of being Uncle Noah?"

Puck laughed. "No, but I don't think I want. I don't want to be the person that I used to be. I want him and Beth to know me for who I am working to be now."

"I think that's awesome, man. Rach and I think you are doing great. I'm really proud of you."

"Thanks."

Finn lifted up Liam and burped him after he was finished. The two guys and the two kids went back to watching football intently, at least as intently as you can with two kids.

Rachel came rushing in at six that night. She ran to Finn and said, "Let me see my boy."

Finn chuckled and handed Liam over to her. He told her, "Hi to you too, babe. I love you. He did great today. We hung out with Puck and Beth, watched some football, read a couple of books and all that. He took his bottles like a champ even though he enjoys your food supply better. He had a good day today. It was a good day on the home front, but that doesn't mean we didn't miss momma."

Rachel smiled. "I'm glad you had a good day, but I missed you both so much. I love you, too."

"We missed you too, Rach. Did you have a good time though?"

"Yes. It was a nice day with your mom. We did some shopping and got to talk. It was a very good day."

"I'm glad you had a good time, babe."

"Can we just give him his bath and lay with him in bed for a while?"

Finn smiled. "I couldn't think of anything I would rather do than be with the two most important people in my life."

That was exactly how their evening went from there. The two of them held each other as they watched their little boy. They were both having a hard time believing how quickly their lives were moving, but neither of them would have traded a second for anything.
