Chapter Thirty Five

"And this will be your office."

Aurora did everything to stop her mouth dropping open as she walked into the, what was the word Jayden had used? If this was a office, then she loved to see what a cubicle was meant to be. Michael's office was lavish; floor to ceiling windows, three doors going off it, a large oak desk in the middle with screens going down one side. There was a coffee making machine built into a wall of cabinets and draws, and she was pretty sure there was a fridge as well as a microwave hidden amongst the vast wall. Behind her, as you came into the office, was a wall of glass which, as Jayden had pointed out, 'can be frosted out.'

A naughty thought popped into her head at that moment as she felt Michael squeezed her hand. The Halliwell Hall was the most stunning and high-tech school she had ever been in, but it wasn't just a school but also a boarding facilities. Students could attend, as a day border for $1,800 dollars, but if you wanted to be a border and have your own bedroom and en-suit well that would cost a cool $9,000 dollars a year. This school was ultra luxurious and she knew any child who attended would go to the best universities. She was lucky as Ella and her unborn child would be able to attend for free as did any child of a teacher here.

"Wow," she whispered.

"Glad you like it, Aurora," Jayden said as he flashed his killer smile. She had instantly liked her boyfriend's new boss and she couldn't wait to meet Tabitha, his wife, tonight. They had been invited for a welcome meal before they had tomorrow to themselves.

"It is certainly lavish," Michael replied.

"Well I aim to please. Through that door to your left is the boardroom and to the right is your personal bathroom leading to a sleeping quarters. Well in case you need to stay overnight. Anyway I'll let you have a proper look around and I will go and find Isabella for you."

Aurora watched as he walked out of the office and closed the door. "I think that bedroom will be coming in handy." Aurora looked at her boyfriend and slapped him. "What?"

"Seriously sex is always on your mind at the moment," she groaned.

"What can't help it if my girlfriend is hot and even more so because she is pregnant!"

"Yeah well remember that when your around your gorgeous new PA."

Michael laughed but he had seen the look in her eye when they had been introduced to Alexis Aldridge who could easily have been a Victoria's Secret Angel. She had been sweet but Aurora couldn't help but feel jealous even though she knew deep down inside he'd never cheat on her. Maybe she was just feeling insecure because she was pregnant and didn't want anyone else ogling her boyfriend.

"She's my PA nothing else. Do you think I would risk what we have, Little Miss Jealous?"

"I'm not jealous, Mike, I just want her to know that your mine. She'll flirt with you because you're gorgeous and well…."

He sighed; "Sian?"

"Yes Sian. I know you cheated with her behind Jez's back…"

"I'll never cheat on you, angel, and I wish you would believe me."

She already knew deep down inside that he'd never cheat on her. Aurora brought her hand up to touch the side of Michael's face, her eyes locking on his.

"I know you'd never do anything to hurt me or our baby, I love you, Michael, and I give you my heart."

He smiled at her before he took her hand before kissing it softly; "I know. Come, let's go home."

Aurora nodded and followed him out of the office. The two met Jayden down at the entrance hall to the principal buildings – Hawaii Education Plasma was made up of six buildings; four were educational, one was a dormitory and the final being management. In the centre of the four buildings which were shaped like a V was a large fountain with the school's logo of a dolphin at its heart. Approaching the building Aurora's breathe had been taken away by the beauty of it, she could see a lot of care and attention had gone into it and she liked that.

She could see Michael being very happy here and it made her feel they had made the right decision. Life in America was going to be good; it would be here their unborn baby would be born, they would get married and live out their days together. They met Jayden in the entrance hall who led them out to the car.

"I was wondering if you fancy joining and my wife for dinner tonight? Tabitha is desperate to meet you, Aurora."

"We love to come," Michael replied.

"Excellent we will see you then. Unfortunately I have been called away to a meeting so I will have Jonas take you home."

He shook both of their hands before Michael opened the door of the waiting car to let his girlfriend in. Soon they were on their way home.

"I've got nothing to wear for tonight," she moaned as she snuggled into him. "I'm already putting on weight!" Michael just smiled. "That's right just smile!"

"You're not putting on weight, you're pregnant, Aurora. Do you want to go shopping?"

"Are you actually wanting to go around the shops? Says the man who complains everytime I mention shopping," she replied as he smirked.

"I'm offering so now wouldn't be a time to say no."

"Okay. Driver to the nearest mall."

Aurora just shook her head knowing what was on his mind. She did enjoy the fact that they didn't need to worry about money and that they didn't need to work, but they both wanted to do. Before she knew it they were walking into the nearest mall. This was the first time that they would be attending something as a couple, wither it was a big fancy awards ceremony or just having dinner with friends. Aurora had to admit to herself that she was nervous especially as she wanted to make a good impression.

"What you thinking about?"

"That I want tonight to be perfect, I don't want to let you down or show you up," she replied as they headed into the first store.

"You won't. Aurora, you need to have more faith in yourself; they will love you. Jayden told me he likes you and he wouldn't have invited us if he didn't want us there. Tabitha is lovely, I have spoken to her via skype etc and she can't wait to meet you. Be yourself. Now what are you going to get?"

She grinned and knew just what she wanted; she wanted to look stunning and be arm candy. She wanted Jayden to wish that she was on his arm but she'd never be unfaithful to Michael.
