Chapter 36: Execution

No one commented on it but Erza was more antsy than usual.

She had two reasons why. One Gray kissed her last night and two, her daughter hasnt been home in more than four days and she was really nervous.

Her mind wandered back to the kiss and her mind mentally battled the light blush on her cheeks. It was just a simple peck on the cheek, what was she getting so worked up about?! She didnt know but when she thought about where his lips could have been, she felt like having a spaz attack.

"Where is she?" Erza growled, stabbing at her cheescake over and over. Everyone steered cleared of the scarlet haired woman and avoided every situation that would set her off. "Child, relax. Im sure Kuma's fine." Gramps muttered, drinking his beer well on his way to drunken ville. He, too, was scared out of his mind. The council was nice and sneaky. They might turn this trial into an imprisoment, or even worse, execution. It wasnt news that the council will send a child with increadible magical power who lost there path to the hanging tree. And that's probably why Erza was so upset.

For now though, they would just have to wait.

-Kuma's PoV-

Death penalty.

That's what I had received.

Walking along side a rune knight and Shinra, papparazzi swarm around us. My hands were in front of me, giant cuffs holding them together. I couldnt use magic or my demonic power. I was accused of helping Jellal build the tower willingly and was called a 'abomination to the human race' when they caught me say something about being Zeref's biological daughter.

"Why is Temptress locked up?"

"She didnt do anything wrong!"

"What's wrong with the council?!"

Fans from all over were surrounding us and I give a soft smile. I had people to back me up. Lets reveal the truth a little shall we?

"Can you believe it?" I ask, locking eyes with one cameraman who recorded me on his video camera. "They wont even let me call my mom!" The man gasped and glared at the rune knight. "Tragic. I wanna at least hear her voice one last time before I die." That made people go into an all out riot.

"Why?!" Is it because your a demon?" Someone screeched. Oh yeah they watch Fairy Tail. They had to have. Nodding they make a wall of people, blocking our way to the special prison bunker. There has to be hundreds of people out here fighting back. "That's not right!" A little girl screeched, hanging on to a boy. "Your not fair!"

"Let! Temptress! Go! Let! Temptress! Go! Let! Temptress! Go!" The chant was increadible! Breaking away from the Rune Knight and pulling my self up a lampost I scream for all to hear: "The Magic Council HATES that Im diffrent! There a bunch of oppressing, bull-shitting no goods who couldnt give a damn if thousands of children died! I'll show you evidence on Fairy Tail tonight! They cant un broadcast it! If they do then I'll put it on the computer! Show it on my blog! I dont care, the secrets coming out! They dont care about us, they care about power! Listen to me my fellow Sinners!" The rune knight pulled me down (I couldnt hang on because of my handcuffed wrists and hands) and proceeded to carry me easily. I didnt fight back. I called them Sinners because my stage name is Temptress and only sinners can give in to my type of temptation.

"See what there doing now? None of my family knows that Im going to be cut off from the world! Get the word to em! Get the word to Fairy Tail! Tell my mom that Im getting executed!" Hands are on the rune knight and they seperate us long enough for a girl my age to shove a cell phone down my shirt. I thank her and she nods and pushes me away. The knight grabs me again and Shinra has to use magic to keep the people on standby.

"Get the word to em! GET THE SENTENCE TO FAIRYTAIL!"

"...Get the word to em! GET THE SENTENCE TO FAIRYTAIL!"

Erza dropped her glass as she stared at Levy's laptop. She was browsing a fansite for Kuma's music when that video popped up. Since it came out today, she wanted to see if her baby was ok.

She was not ok!

"No...no no NO NO NOOO!" Erza was breaking down in sobs and Gray held her. Natsu was growling in anger and Mira had to control herself from going Satan Soul.

"That cant be right...! It was just a trial! To talk about the tower!" Gray choked out hanging on to Erza tightly. Gramps had crushed his glass and glowered at the computer screen. They threatened one of his kids.

Just then Laxus's phone rang. He and Lucy had just walked into the guild, not knowing what was going on.

"Onii-chan! Thank God! You gotta listen quick because this phone is gonna die soon! Tell Mom and Gramps that the border is surrounded by the best! No one can go in or get out! Got it?"

"Oi oi, whats going on? Why werent you at practice all week?"

"Gramps can explain! Just hurry up! Tell them I have untill Saturday night at 8:00pm and not a second more. Alright? Are you still with me big brother? And tell Lucy to show Papa too. He'll probably be at my thinking spot at ten tonight. Alright I gotta go love ya big—" The line went dead.

Laxus quickly explained what Kuma said to Lucy and her knees buckled. She ran over to Erza and relayed the message. The woman cried harder. The blonde was actually getting worried. At the end she said 'Love ya big bro.' when she always said 'see ya big bro.' something was wrong.

"Are you Mystogan?"

The man looked up and saw Lucy Heartphilia. He was about to put her asleep when she buckled down and cried. "Its Kuma!" She gasped. Mystogan froze as she all but threw her tablet at him and pressed a video. He watched in horror as his daughter announced her death penalty and put a hand over where his mouth should be under his scarf. It had to be a lie. It had to be!

"You gotta help her break out! Please tell me your in?!"

"Of coarse. No one lays a hand on my baby girl." Mystogan agreed and Lucy gave a watery smile.

"Thank you!"
