Ash and his Pokémon were fighting their way towards the location where Blake and Delia were at. He couldn't risk using a portal since he had to concentrate to use it, and the amount of Grimm and Heartless around made it more difficult.
"Pikachu, see if you can get ahead and aide Blake and mom." Ash said to his partner.
"Pika!" He said while charging ahead while ducking and jumping off of Grimm and Heartless.
With Blake and Delia, they remained in the building until help arrived. Blake covered her from any Grimm and Heartless that managed to track them down. But the real nightmare was just beginning.
As they reached the bottom floor, she peeked behind a corner and she already saw a few White Fang goons searching the floor.
"Oh no…we need to fall back." She whispered to Delia.
"Why?" She asked. Blake quickly hushed her and held her mouth.
"What was that!?" One of the goons asked.
"It sounded like it came from over there." The other said. Blake's heart twisted as they were heading in their direction. Just as they were making a break for it, the three saw them at the end of the hallway. "THERE SHE IS! GET HER!" He shouted.
"LEAVE US ALONE!" Blake shouted back before firing off a blizzard spell to try to stop them.
One of the goons radioed for Adam.
"Sir! We have her trapped. I am sending you our location." He said.
"Excellent. Keep her busy. I'm on my way." Adam said over the other line.
Blake and Delia began to run throughout the building while trying to lose them, just as they turned the corner, Delia stops right in front of Blake.
"Ah! Why'd you stop?" She asked. Delia aims her pan in front of them, and Blake's eyes shrank.
They saw a tigress Faunus wearing a black and white dress and had a red jewel on her forehead. She wore a single black glove on her right arm and wore sandals with black stockings on her legs. She was holding a chain whip that had a few elemental Dust crystals in each blade on the tip.
"Blake…I have found you." She said to her.
"High Leader…Sienna Kahn." Blake said while shaking in fear at the presence of her.
The tigress Faunus Sienna Kahn heard the sound of Adam's followers coming.
"Come with me if you want to live." She said while reaching out for them.
"What…?" Blake asked with shock.
"Quickly!" She whispered shouted at them. The two of them ran to her and they hid them in a room. The goons turned a corner and saw her. "IDIOTS! You let them get away!" She shouted at them while preparing her chain whip.
"High Leader! What are you-AH!" One of the goons shouted in pain as she whipped them and subdued them.
Blake and Delia watched as she defeated them while cracking the door open. Blake couldn't believe it; the High Leader that started all of the widespread fear against the humans has saved not only herself, but Delia as well, a human.
She then turned towards them.
"Leave now, or hide. If he's coming here, you'll be in danger." Sienna warned them.
"Come on, we're out of here." Blake said while pulling Delia to go further the building.
Meanwhile earlier, Ruby and Summer were fighting off their enemies together. It was a touching mother and daughter moment for them.
Summer was wielding twin katanas. She was slicing and dicing many Grimm that dare to get in front of her. She can combine them to create a semi-automatic rifle with armor piercing Dust rounds that can crack through Grimm armor with ease.
"You doing okay mom?" Ruby asked.
"I may be out of practice a bit, but I'm heavily enjoying myself!" Summer yelled with excitement.
Her excitement immediately turned to fear upon seeing a massive Grimm emerge from the ocean and roared into the sky.
"MOM! WHAT IS THAT!?" Ruby screamed with fright.
"It's a Leviathan!" Summer yelled as it was approaching. Just then, something hit her and it might work. "Honey, I think it's time I taught you how to kill your enemies with your eyeballs." Summer said.
"But…I passed out the first time I did this." Ruby said. Summer put her swords away and held her hand. "Huh?" She asked.
"Just concentrate on all the happy memories with the people you care about. Ready to give it a try?" Summer asked before her eyes began to glow.
Ruby smiled and hers began to glow as well.
"Yeah." She said.
They looked towards the Leviathan and smiled. The Leviathan charged forward until Ruby and Summer began screaming while the powers began to be unleashed. Suddenly, a massive burst of light erupted from their eyes, and it hit the Leviathan. It was now petrified in its place.
Meanwhile nearby, Salem noticed the attack and her eyes shrank.
"No…ROSE! DREADNAUGHT, GET THEM!" Salem screamed as she and the newly dubbed Grimm Dreadnaught flew towards the petrified Leviathan.
Ruby and Summer heard the Dreadnaught coming towards them and they gasped in fright. Suddenly, several Aura Spheres shot passed them and hit the Dreadnaught, causing it to roar and retreat.
"Huh?" Summer asked as she turned around. They saw dozens of quadrupedal Pokémon that was using Double Team, along with a few others, running up the petrified Leviathan, and readied what appeared to be Sacred Sword.
"HEEYYAAAAHHH!" The clones grunted. It was Keldeo, along with the rest of the Swords of Justice. They used Sacred Sword to deal massive damage to the petrified Leviathan so extreme that the head fell off as the cracks spread throughout the neck, killing it.

When the clones disappeared, the four of them landed in front of Ruby and Summer.
"Are you two alright?" Terrakion asked them.
"Yes. Thank you for the rescue." Summer said.
"It's what we do. We received a call for help here in Vale thanks to Manaphy, and we have come to aide you against this new threat." Cobalion said with a smile.
"Manaphy?" Ruby asked.
"That little one really knows how to call a party." Virizion said while they looked towards the ocean, and indeed Manaphy had brought in several Pokémon form the land and sea, with the land Pokémon riding on the Pokémon from the sea.
"MANA!" Manaphy shouted while riding on Kyogre. Kyogre jumped out of the water and fired off a Hyper Beam at dozens of Nevermores in the sky, turning them into smoke.

Just then, another roar erupted from above and fired off a barrage of Draco Meteors at the Grimm on the ground. Everyone looked at saw Rayquaza coming out of the ozone layer and joined the fight.

"Pesky Pokémon! Be gone!" Salem yelled. The Dreadnought roared as it began to attack Rayquaza.
Back with Ruby and Summer, Keldeo looked towards them.
"Where's Ash?" Keldeo asked.
"He went after his mother. I don't know where though." Ruby said. Keldeo growled and looked towards the fight.
"I'm coming Ash." Keldeo said before charging forward with the rest following,
Back with Blake and Delia, they were joined with Sienna as they made it further into the building.
"High Leader, why did you save us? Not to mention a human?" Blake asked. Sienna just smiled and looked at Delia.
"Choosing a side, the right side." She said. Just then, both their cat ears heard more goons coming. "Get her out. I'll hold them off." Sienna said while reading her chain whip.
"Right!" Blake said as they continued onward. Just as they reached the exit, she stopped as Adam smashed through the doorway. "ADAM! LEAVE US ALONE!" Blake shouted at him.
"Remember the order: 'Deal with the traitors!'" Adam yelled before engaging her.
Blake screamed a bit as he attacked her. She had to fight him off and use her flexibility to dodge his attacks. Delia kept her distance while clutching her frying pan. Blake held her own well against him, until she accidentally took a bad step and fell backwards.
Adam got on top of her and slammed his foot onto her torso and aimed his sword at her neck. She gasped and looked at him with fright.
"I warned you Blake. Now you pay the price…WITH YOUR LIFE!" Adam shouted and attempted to strike at her.
"PIKA PI!" Pikachu shouted as he intercepted the attack with his Iron Tail, causing Adam to stumble back a bit.
"What the!? Why you little rat!" Adam yelled as he began attacking Pikachu.
Delia ran to Blake and helped her up. Blake held her stomach as it ached from the stomp. They watched as Pikachu fought Adam with Iron Tail.
Just then, Pikachu jumped up and fired off a powerful Thunderbolt. Adam grinned and blocked the attack with Wilt, absorbing the attack. Pikachu gasped as it happened.
Adam then pulled out Blush and aimed the gun at it.
"Time to exterminate the rat." Adam said before firing at him. Pikachu dodged it and used Agility to avoid more until…
Adam fired off another round, this time hitting Pikachu in the side, causing it to scream in pain and fell to the ground and whimpered.
"NO! PIKACHU!" Delia screamed in horror.
"Pika…pi." Pikachu whimpered before closing his eyes. Adam then fired off one last round at Pikachu, and he went still.
Meanwhile nearby, Ash froze as he sensed Pikachu's life die away. He began to shake as it was slowly consuming him.
Back with Blake and Delia, they just gazed at Pikachu's dead body. Suddenly, something snapped within Delia.
"RRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGGGGHHHHHHHHH!" Delia screamed as tears rolled down her face and she charged at Adam, landing a blow to his arm.
"GAAAHHH! PESKY HUMAN!" Adam shouted before swiping the pan away from her and impaled her in the stomach.
"ACK!" Delia gasped as the sword went through her. She slowly looked down at the sword and back at Adam. Blood slowly dripped out of her mouth.
Adam yanked the sword out and Delia fell to the ground…dead.
Ash sensed Delia dying as well and this time, it overwhelmed him. Dark sparks began to shoot out of him and his emotions were now unstable. The sparks began to cause cracks around his armor and it spread.
Ash then screamed at the top of his lungs as the darkness shot out of him and transformed him. He was now radiating darkness in a silhouette-like appearance with glowing red eyes. He had claws and was only wielding Divine Elemental, which turned into a form of darkness as well.
Drive Form Analysis
Rage Form
An unstable and uncontrollable form that turns the user into a raging monster of darkness due to low health, or unstable emotions.
Primary Effects: Increases all physical strengths.
Secondary Effect(s): Increase fighting speed, and use powerful dark powers.
"TAURUS!" Ash screamed as he charged forward and began cutting down Grimm and Heartless along the way.
Meanwhile, Aqua and Xedrek sensed the darkness explode out of Ash as he transformed. Aqua was concerned for Ash, but had to rely on taking care of her enemies. Xedrek, on the other hand along with the twins, teleported to where Ash was at and kept an eye on him from above. The twins gasped at the very sight of him.
Then he had an idea. He told the twins that he will be right back, and he along with the whole army of Nobodies retreated to the realm of darkness.
Back with Blake, she was crying a bit over the bodies of Delia and Pikachu.
"Why!?" Blake cried.
"Because…they deserved it. Now for you." He said while walking towards Blake, who had Panther's Claw ready.
Suddenly, Ash broke through the exit and screamed at Adam with all of his rage. With one swipe at Adam, he was sent flying into a wall, and fell to the ground. He looked at Ash, who was growling at him like a monster, and readied himself.
"Ketchum! You'll see no mercy from me!" Adam warned him.
"I'LL BREAK EVERYTHING!" Ash shouted and they engaged.
Blake watched as the newly raged Ash was confronting Adam. She was shaking with fear at the very appearance of Ash, especially with his glowing red eyes.
With Xedrek and the Nobodies, Xedrek knew what he had to do.
"LISTEN! The time has come! It's time that we all become one! Give me your power, and together we will win this fight!" Xedrek ordered his army.
All of the Nobodies bodies turned into a ball of energy and they began shooting towards Xedrek. He began to absorb the power that they were giving him.
"Yes! Come to me!" Xedrek ordered as more and more energy were being absorbed.
As all the Nobodies were absorbed, Xedrek screamed as twilight burst out of him and he began to go through a bit of a transformation himself. His skin was now darker tan and his eyes were now orange. His coat was now colored with orange swirling with black. His hair was now straight and was now longer. It flowed down his back.
After he examined his new body and seeing some of the things he can do now, he returned to the battlefield and saw from a distance that Ash had already engaged Adam.
"Xedrek!?" The twins asked in shock of his new look. He turned towards them and smiled.
"Yeah. It's me. I've absorbed the Nobodies and we are now one. Time to put them to some good use." Xedrek said before jumping down the building and readied to fight.
Suddenly, all of Ash's loved ones and Keyblade wielders arrived onto the scene where they saw Ash in his new look overpowering Adam. Velvet gasped and froze at Ash's appearance.
"Ash!? What's happened to him?" She asked.
"I don't know, but I think that man did something to trigger it." Aqua guessed.
They all went inside and they immediately saw the bodies of Delia and Pikachu. Glynda fell onto the ground in shock to seeing them on the ground. She began tearing up.
Ash and Adam continued to fight until they were in a lock. Ash growled as he was trying to force him back. He then screamed and sent him flying by firing off darkness at him from his hand, knocking him out.
"ASH!" Everyone screamed at him. Ash grunted while looking at them.
"HE DID THIS TO ME!" He shouted at them.
Blake got up and got in front of him and cupped his cheeks.
"Ash…it's okay. You won the fight. It's time to relax." Blake whispered to him and looked deep into his red eyes.
He looked at her with anger. As Blake gotten a bit closer, he lowered his Keyblades.
Suddenly, they all began to hear singing nearby. Ash heard this and he began to regain control of himself as the song sounded familiar to him.
"That song…can it be?" He asked just before he reverted back to his old self again.
He activated his aura vison and he saw a bit of movement in the air above them. It was invisible to everyone, but he sensed it. Just then, it stopped right in front of him and revealed itself, or rather herself.
"MELO!" She said with glee, shocking everyone.
"It is you! Meloetta!" Ash yelled with happiness and Meloetta hugged him while he returned it gently.

"Ash? What is that?" Glynda asked. Meloetta quickly got behind Ash due to her shy and timid nature.
"It's okay Meloetta. They won't hurt you. This is an old friend of mine that I met in Unova long ago. This is Meloetta. That song you heard was called the Song of Harmony. It can calm the nerves of almost any enraged being." Ash explained.
"Wow." Weiss said.
Just then, Adam began to wake up and Ash sensed this. He looked towards the Faunus and grew angry. Meloetta then flew behind Weiss and hid.
Emerald quickly held his hand and looked at him.
"Ash…together." She whispered. He nodded and smiled.
He held the brooch and thought about how much Emerald impacted his life. The brooch began to glow and cracks could be heard throughout his body. Green light began to escape from the cracks. Emerald held Ash for support as she began to feel weird. Just then, Ash exploded and Emerald disappeared.
Everyone shielded their eyes as the light explosion happened. When they looked back at Ash, he was now on the ground on a knee.
He slowly got up and had both Divine Elemental and Emerald Thorn. His hair was now green and was slightly longer and straight. His dark coat was now emerald colors with patches of silver on it. He shot his eyes open and one of his eyes was red.
Drive Form Analysis
Sage Form
A Drive Form that is created when the user's partner was known for his/her magic and semblance superiority.
Primary Effect: Boost the power of semblances sharply.
Secondary Effect(s): Boost the power of Magic/Dust capability, increases healing, and gains immunity to mind dominations.
"Wow…amazing." Sienna whispered as Ash and Emerald faced off against Adam as one.
"All of you get out of here." Ash and Emerald said to them.
"No way! We're gonna help you." Ven said while preparing to strike. Ash then looked towards them, causing Ven to stop. He then smiled and winked at them.
"Trust me." They said before he engaged Adam.
Everyone was now leaving as the two were going at it. Ash fired off a powerful spell at him, who blocked it and absorbed the spell.
'Ash! I got an idea. Time to use my little magic on him.' Emerald said in his mind.
'Alright. Go for it.' Ash said and allowed Emerald to take over and his brown eye turned into red.
Adam screamed and used a lot of his remaining strength and sent them flying and into a wall. They grinned and faded away, causing Adam to stop and look around.
They ended up on top of a building and quickly healed themselves. Adam burst out and saw them.
"Now, behold the true power." They said while aiming the two Keyblades above and a large ball of fire was being made. Little did Adam realize that it was an illusion, and it was just a small ball of fire.
"What are you doing!?" Adam demanded.
"Arceus…Judgement." They said while looking back at Adam. "I'll make you pay for what you've done, so I simply used an illusion to hide this. Even we don't know what this does. Now…witness God's wrath!" They yelled before throwing it at Adam.
They quickly fired of a barrage of fire spells and they surrounded Adam, who was screaming in the process. Soon enough, the other Keyblade wielders fired off more fire spells, minus Blake who couldn't even watch.
Adam then swung his sword with some of the last bit of his already exhausted body, and barely stood up.
Xedrek started to get bored with this and tapped into his semblance, and created a long scythe in the process.
Semblance Analysis
Xedrek: Twilight Reign
A semblance that gives the user such untold power to control twilight. It allows the user to create weapons made of pure twilight energy and they will work just the same. It can also absorb dark and light energy to make him stronger, however the more is absorbed, the more unstable the aura will become.
Ruby looked towards the scythe and began geeking out a bit. He slowly made his way to him.
Ash regained control and aimed both Keyblades at him.
"Give it up. You've lost." They demanded.
"Never." Adam grunted. He began to go for another swing until he felt something go right through his gut. He gagged and he slowly looked down and saw the blade right there. "Oh…" He whispered.
Ash and Emerald gasped a bit before they separated. They saw the twilight scythe go through Adam caused by Xedrek.
Xedrek slowly raised him up and Adam dropped his weapon.
"These games are starting to bore me. As some would say, 'time to split.'" Xedrek said before taking the scythe and sliced him in half, killing him instantly.
Most of the others looked away as it happened. Blake, on the other hand, couldn't believe that this happened. She began crying over the fact that the Faunus she believed that could've been saved was killed.
Xedrek dismissed the scythe and walked towards Blake.
"I'm sorry. There was no other way." He said.
"I…" She was trying to say until hundreds of their enemies began to engage them.
As they were fighting them, they were being forced to fall back. Along the way, they met up with Teams JNPR, CRDL, CLOD, ARMY, DEMN, BRNZ, ABRN, FNKI, LAKE, NDGO, SSSN, the maidens, Donald, Goofy and Ozma. They were all being surrounded by Grimm, Heartless and White Fang goons. Ash saw Ozma using his Time Space Keyblade and was fighting well. Meloetta transformed into her Pirouette Forme and fought well against the Grimm.
Suddenly, the Grimm Dreadnaught landed nearby and Salem looked down at them. She then raised a hand and the attacks halted. Ash and the others looked up at Salem.
"Brave fighters! As you can see, you are now surrounded. I am giving you this last opportunity to hand over the Keyblade, or my Dreadnaught will kill all non-Keyblade wielders one by one until you break." Salem said.
Everyone was now looking at her with rage. The twins held onto Xedrek, who slowly closed his eyes as he had come to the ultimate decision. Once his mind was made up, he looked back at her.
"ALRIGHT STOP!" He shouted at her, gaining everyone's attention. He stepped forward to her and presented himself. "As a Keyblade Master, I can pass it onto you." He added.
"Xedrek! What are you doing!?" Aqua yelled at him. He didn't say anything to her.
"Xedrek!" Ash yelled.
Xedrek then swiped his arm at everyone. Suddenly, a wave of twilight energy shot out of his hand hit all of them. He then made a few movements with his arms and aimed two fingers down.
"Beacon Academy….BE SAFE!" He shouted before aiming his fingers to the sky. Everyone felt a slight pulse in their bodies as he did this.
"Xedrek…what did you do?" Ozma asked.
"Guys!" Amanda yelled as she gained everyone's attention. They all watched as she was slowly fading into twilight dust. Her whole body, along with her weapon, now faded into dust and blew towards Beacon.
"Ash!" Ruby yelled as she too began to turn to dust and fade. Ash watched in horror as this was happening as one by one they were all fading away.
Suddenly, the twins quickly jumped onto Xedrek and held him.
"Don't do this!" Melanie yelled.
"We won't leave you." Militia whimpered.
"Listen to me. The next time we meet, you will see me as a better person…one with a heart." He whispered before pulling back and looked at Militia.
Just then, he placed his lips onto hers and looked at her in the eyes. She was shocked at first, but closed her eyes as she returned the kiss. He pulled back and did the same to Melanie.
"Now…go." He said and they slowly faded away.
"NO! We don't want to leave you!" Militia yelled as they held him tighter.
"We can't let you do this!" Melanie added.
"WE LOVE YOU XEDREK!"They shouted before they were completely turned to dust.
"Xedrek…why are you doing this?" Ah asked.
"Because…I figured it out. I know what I have to do. I brought the Heartless to this world, and I see myself as a bit of a mass murderer because of all the lives they potentially have taken. You need to give me this Ash. It's time that I corrected this once and for all. Tell everyone to take cover, and inform General Ironwood as well. Good luck…Chosen One." He said before Ash began to turn to dust.
"NO!" Ash shouted before turning to dust and blew away.
Xedrek watched and smiled as they were now going and out of sight. He inhaled and gained a serious face with his eyes shining bright with twilight energy. He summoned his Keyblades and they began to slowly rotate and spin faster and faster around him.
"Hahahaha! I'm going to enjoy this." Salem said with glee as she commanded her forces to slowly engage. Suddenly, Xedrek closed his eyes and began to absorb light and dark energy around him and began to channel it. "What are you doing?" She asked.
"I'm…going…to…" He was saying as the power he was absorbing was getting a bit unstable.
Salem then saw all of the Heartless and the Grimm slowly backing away from him.
"What are you doing!? Kill him!" She ordered, but none of them moved.
Just then, he shot his eyes open and sparks of twilight erupted from them.
"END THIS!" He screamed as he continued to absorb light and dark energy and his body began to erupt twilight energy to unstable levels. He continued to scream as he was still absorbing the energies. Twilight electricity was shooting out of him and hit many of the enemies around him, killing most of them.
Back with everyone else, the twilight dust turned everyone back to normal. When Ash arrived, he quickly prepared to make a portal.
"NO YOU MUSTN'T!" Axel shouted as he stopped him.
"WHY!? HE CAN'T TAKE THEM ON ALL ALONE!" Ash shouted back.
"Because I know what he's doing." Axel said. Ash just stared at him with confusion. "There's a special technique all of the humanoid Nobodies have that they regarded as a weapon of last resort. Sora, Donald and Goofy would know. I've used it myself." He explained.
"Gwarsh! That must be what he's doing. He's planning on sacrificing himself in attempt to give us a fighting chance." Goody said.
"WAAK! You mean he's gonna detonate?" Donald asked.
"XEDREK!" The twins screamed as they attempted to get to him.
"THEY MUST NOT LEAVE THE AREA!" Axel shouted as he and several others ran to them and stopped them.
"Young one. There's nothing you can do now. Trust him." Aqua said to Melanie, who struggled to try to be released.
"Please! If you really love him, you will let him go." Charcoal said as she was holding back Militia.
Back with Xedrek, his body was getting more unstable with the amount of energy that he was absorbing. He smiled as he closed his eyes.
'Sacrificing myself to give everyone the fighting chance…I like the way how heartwarming that felt.' He thought. He then opened his eyes and faced towards the Dreadnaught.
"HHHHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!" He screamed as he channeled the power that he absorbed into his body.
Suddenly, he screamed louder than ever before, and a very bright and loud light show erupted from him. This caused everyone in the kingdom to shield their eyes and ears from the light show. Salem screamed as it was happening. Xedrek continued to scream as he was unleashing the power and we slowly began to glow bright.
After the show, a nuclear like explosion of pure twilight blasted in the area, and a massive wave of the same energy began to spread. This caused everyone to duck and cover as it happened. Aqua shielded Melanie and Charcoal yanked Militia behind the statue and held her. The Grimm Dreadnaught was caught in the middle of the explosion and sent it flying upwards into the sky as it roared in agonizing pain from the burns it was getting.
"XEDREK! NO!" Ash screamed just before the wave got to them and forced them backwards.
The blast radius spread throughout the whole region and all of the Grimm and the Heartless were destroyed, minus the White Fang, who were sent flying from the explosion, and were knocked out cold.
After a little while, Ash got back up and saw everyone else recovering.
"Anybody hurt? Everyone alright?" Ozma asked.
"I think so." Ash said while everyone joined them. He looked towards the twins as they were crying uncontrollably. "I'm so sorry girls." Ash said. The twins hugged him while crying into his arms.
They all looked at the massive mushroom cloud and were shocked that Xedrek did this. They were more confused as to why the blast didn't kill them. Ash sensed the capital and he sensed no Heartless in the area.
"I…I don't believe this. The Heartless has completely vanished. I can't sense any of them. I can assume that the Grimm was also dealt with, but I doubt the Dreadnaught was destroyed." Ash said.
"Melo!" Meloetta cheered a bit.
Meanwhile, Ozma contacted Ironwood.
"James, are you all alright?" Ozma asked.
"Yes. What was that?" Ironwood asked.
"A sacrifice. Xedrek detonated and, according to Ash, wiped out all the Grimm and the Heartless, minus the Dreadnaught. The White Fang might still be out there." Ozma explained.
"Roger that. I'll have a few squads to investigate the area." Ironwood said before ending the call.
Suddenly, Emerald heard the sound of the doors to Beacon open. She saw Cinder slowly walking out and made their way towards them.
"Guys." Emerald said while gaining their attention. They all saw Cinder heading their way.
Ash walked towards Cinder and they stopped right in front of each other.
"Are you alright?" He asked.
"Yes, thanks to you. But…why did you save me?" She asked. Ash smiled from that question.
"I think you and I know the answer: To free you from Salem's control over you." Ash said.
"Even after everything I have done?" She asked.
"I know that you didn't have any freedom because of Salem. She had you do her dirty work, but now you're free." Ash said. Cinder smiled at him and took one of his arms.
"Can you please help me find Cilan? I need to get the both of us out of here." She asked.
"Of course. Give me a moment." Ash said before looking back at the capital and began searching for Cilan's aura.
Meanwhile, Cinder approached Emerald.
"Emerald…I am so, so sorry for everything. I should've been the mother figure you needed me to be after I took you in all those years ago. Be safe for me…please?" She asked while holding her hands, to which she happily held.
"I will. You stay safe as well…mother." Emerald said.
Cinder smiled only to lose it as she began to shed tears. She hugged Emerald and she hugged her back.
"Cinder?" Amber asked. Cinder broke the hug and looked at the Fall Maiden. "I know you didn't want to believe it at first, but deep down there was good in you." Amber said.
"Maybe you're right. You take care of those powers. And don't you worry any longer, we're allies now." Cinder said.
After a little while, Ash created a portal that will take Cinder straight to Cilan.
"Okay Cinder, he's waiting for you." Ash said while presenting the portal.
Cinder walked towards the portal, only to stop right next to Ash.
"Good luck Ash. You're gonna need it." Cinder said. She then held a shoulder and gently kissed his cheek. "For luck." She said before running through the portal.
After the portal closed, Ash knew that they had to return to the others. He then created another portal for them all to take that will take them back to the capital.
"Come on guys, we need to regroup with the others." Ash said.
"Yeah!" They all yelled before going through it. Ash was the last to enter until it closed.
As they exited through another portal that took them back to where they were last at, Ash heard a sound of screeching coming from nearby. They looked up and saw a Moltres carrying Cinder and Cilan and were flying away. His Pokedex was ringing and he saw Winter calling him.
"Ash! That Moltres has Cinder. Requesting permission to open fire to stop them." Winter said.
"No. Let them go. They are of no threat to us now. I made sure of it." Ash said.
"If you say so. If they do something rash, then what?" She asked him.
"They won't. Cinder had been purified and Salem's control over her has been broken. Don't worry about them, just focus on the Dreadnaught. Kill the Dreadnaught, and it's just Salem." Ash explained.
"Roger that. Winter out." Winter said before hanging up. After Ash put his Pokedex away, he turned towards the other.
"Team RWBY, you're with me. We need to find Xedrek for he might still be out there. Emerald, take everyone else back to meet up with the others. See if you can find any survivors along the way." Ash ordered.
"Won't be a problem, but the twins will be a handful." Emerald explained while the twins were struggling to break free from Charcoal and Aqua.
After the two groups separated, they saw the Dreadnaught was now falling from the sky. It was falling straight for Mt. Glenn. As it hit the ground, it caused an earthquake to shake around them.
With that last ditch effort, Xedrek's final actions caused the Heartless and all but the Dreadnaught to be destroyed. Will Ash and Team RWBY be able to find any traces of him, or not? Will that very act be enough? Find out more as we enter a break in the war next time as the story continues.
