"You know Mrs. Berry, you're fully entitled to an attorney." a detective stated, laying back in his chair.
"I know, but I'm not arguing with you. We did all the things you said we did, and a few more." Rachel admitted, paseing around the small interrogation room.
"Miss you'll really want to wait for an attorney."
"It was the right thing to do." Rachel slake her hands on the table, slightly scaring the detective. "Finn, You're listening, right?" Rachel questioned, storming to the one way glass. "I know you're there."
"Almost." Finn mumbles to himself, taking 2 steps over to stand in front of the brunette behind the glass.
"What choice did we have? Quinn is marrying Sam because Mrs. Fabray ran out of money. She doesn't want to lose her big house, or closets full of clothes. This sham of a wedding is going to happen tomorrow if someone doesn't stop it. Finn, this is about love." Rachel exhaled deeply. "I thought you cared about love."
"Oh boy." The detective bumped is head against the table, tired of listening to the woman ramble.
"I kinda thought you did. I kinda thought that was the guy you are." Rachel giggled at how crazy she sounded. "Do you know how much I've been thinking about you the past few days? I'm so glad this glass is here. I could never have the nerve to tell you how I feel." Rachel began to tear up. "For the past couple of days I've been asking myself what if i didn't go back to New York and stuck here for a while? What would life be like with a guy like Finn." Rachel paused, thinking what she had just said. "Well, not with a guy like Finn. Finn."
Wiping her eyes, Rachel decided to give up. When she turned away from the glass she saw Finn standing in the doorway of the interrogation room.
The other detective stood and walked over to Finn. "I think this one's your's. Good luck." he mumbled, patting Finn on the shoulder. Exited the room, he left the two alone.
"I heard everything you said." Finn admitted, breaking the silence.
"And, we can prove everything." Rachel rushed over to Finn.
"I didn't mean that." Finn stated, knowing Rachel was talking about the wedding. "I meant me and you." Finn looked around the room, hoping no one finds out about what he was planning to do. "I'm crossing so many professional lines here."
"It's because you're a good person." Rachel pulled Finn down to sit on the bench connected to the wall.
"You believe everything i said?" Rachel asked, holding Finn's hand.
"About us or Quinn?"
"I was hoping both." She admitted. "Where are we?"
The two silently looked at each other, not sure how to answer.
"So A-Rach, how did you get Finn to spring us?" Mercedes asked, walking out of the jail. "I know now." Mercedes giggled.
"No, we didn't." Rachel shook her head, knowing what her friend was thinking.
"But you would have."
"It didn't come to that." Rachel confesses. Crossing the street, Rachel changed the subject. "We have to get into that wedding. There is no way Mrs. Fabray is letting us in, so think." Rachel stopped walking to think.
"Rach," Mercedes softly called to her friend. "I think we should just dr..."
"Wigs." Rachel yelled, interrupting Mercedes. "We can wear them to get past the guards, then we sneak inside and have a little 'chat' with Quinn."
"Rachel, let it go." Mercedes suggested, but her words fell on deaf ears.
"I know the perfect place to get the wigs. Come on." Rachel stormed away with Mercedes slowly in tow.
Please review. I can't believe my 1st fiction is coming to a end really soon.
What do you think is Quinn's secret? Will Sam tell Quinn about his kiss with Cedes? Why is Mercedes avoiding talking about Matt? Is Rach and Cedes going to stop the wedding?
What do you think? :)
