A.N Sorry for being slow I've had a busy week with school since water polo started. And I'm really excited about the Avengers: AOU trailer, like everyone else. Kida will be in it after I conclude Thor: TDW and Captain America: TWS. Thank you so much for the support everyone I'm so happy you guys enjoy my writing.

When the lights died down I stood on an oil tanker, different iron man suits flew everywhere as flames and explosions shot out. I could see men and woman with red glowing skin melt the metal crates.

"Well well well" I turned around to see a man with dragon tattoos walk towards me "I never thought you would show up Kida."

"Who are you and how do you know my name?" I asked

"I'm a friend of your dads, and Pepper."

"Where are they?"

"Right here" I looked up to see another suit fly past me and shot the man into the flames, the mask slid off revealing my dad.

"Dad!" I looked around to see Loki had vanished, my dad ran up to me and hugged me tightly "I was so worried"

"You always get worried" He said "you have to get out of here"

"Not until I find Pepper"

Before he could say anything the man appeared again and threw him across the ship. I grabbed one of my daggers and threw it at him. He grabbed it in his hand and it melted onto the ground.

"Really?" He said "I expected more from Ironman's kid."

A gold wall of light rose from the ground in front of me and shot out to him knocking him down.

"You were saying?" I asked and he grabbed my arm, melting the metal and burning my skin.

I let out a loud scream of pain and another Ironman suit flew by pulling him away from me. I turned around and could see two men running towards me, a gold whip appeared on my uninjured arm extending from my shoulder down. I wrapped the whip around the two men and threw them high above the cranes into the ocean. I continued throwing people and slamming them against the ground as I held my burnt arm close to me. The melted metal was now stuck to my burn wound. I felt warm tears escape my eyes.

"Look at you" I looked up to see the same man who burned me, he created a small and blazing circle of fire around me. The smoke felt like it was suffocating me. "The Stark with real powers, weak acting like a kick puppy."

"Coming from a real life flame thrower." I snapped as I coughed on the thick smoke

My vision became blurry as the smoke became thicker and thicker, I could no longer see the cranes above me. Suddenly a hand reached out and slapped me hard across the cheek knocking me down and a kick to the stomach knocked the wind out of me and I could feel ribs crack. I reached my hand out towards the water and a stream of water poured onto the flames but they didn't go out. A hand grabbed my jaw pinning me to the ground and the other was placed onto my stomach. The man stared at me while I felt the metal on my stomach burn my skin.

"Since Pepper has been terminated, maybe the serum will work better with your DNA."

"Go to hell" I growled holding back the pain from my burning stomach. "You'll never win"

"And you think you can stop me, I'm practically a god."

"I know gods, and you're nothing like them." I used my strength to shot a gold light at him sending him flying backwards. I struggled to get up, the more I moved the more burnt my stomach got. I rolled onto my side and pushed myself to my knees. A hand gently grabbed my arm and pulled me up, I looked up and saw Loki. "Loki where have you been?"

"I've been fighting these strange mortals." He looked down and saw my arm and stomach "You're badly hurt."

"I'm fine" There was a massive explosion, Loki pulled me close shielding me. When it died down everything seemed calm.

"Kida!" My dad called out

"Kida!" Pepper repeated

"Dad! Pepper!"

I followed the sound of their voices and found them together, Pepper's skin was red and she looked like she was glowing.

"Pepper, you're one of them" I said as she hugged me tightly

"I know this is all confusing but we can explain everything." She said with tears in her eyes "I can't believe you're here."

"I said I'll visit when I can" I smiled and hugged her as my dad joined in the hug. I felt tears of joy fall off my cheeks as I hugged them.

Loki disguised himself as a palace guard and stayed with me while the four of us went to a nearby hotel. My arm was in extreme pain but I hid it while Pepper and my dad explained everything. By the time the sun was up Loki put a hand on my shoulder.

"We need to head back."

"You need to leave so soon?" Pepper said

"You just got here" My dad added

"The princess is severely injured and needs the royal healers." Loki said

Loki waited outside while I said goodbye to my parents again, we walked up to the roof and we returned back to the cave. He led me up to the steep hill to the entrance were the sun was high in the sky.

"You need to get back to the palace" Loki said

"But when I do you know we'll be in big trouble." I said "And what if something bad happens to you because you helped me?"

"Then it'll be worth it, it was my decision to help you and I would make the same decision again." He gently rubbed the dirt of my cheek. "And all I want is your forgiveness, for every time I hurt you and for leaving you."

I went onto my tip toes to wrap my arms around the back of his neck to hug him. He wrapped his arms around my waist and buried his head into my shoulder.

"I forgive you" I said "and thank you so much."

"As long as you're happy, that's all I need."

I went back onto my feet and looked up at him, all the pain from my arm and stomach seemed to have faded away. Slowly Loki leaned down closer and closer, instead of pushing back I stepped closer. He slowly lowered his head and closed his eyes as he pulled me closer with his hands on my hips. Everything around us stopped in that moment. But as his arms wrapped around my waist I snapped myself back into reality and pushed him away.

"Loki" I put my hands on his chest and pushed him back. "We can't do this…I can't do this"

The pain was clear in his eyes, but he remained quiet as he stepped away from me. He disappeared in a flash of green light and I got onto Gunnar, I raced back to the palace avoiding the trees and people in the streets. When I made it to the doors I ran down the long halls to the healers. They helped me climb up to a stone bench and gold dust floated above me. One of them gave me a small glass of clear liquid.

"Drink this" The woman said "this will help with the pain."

I drank every last drop, leaving a burning sensation in my throat like alcohol. I realized it was a sedative as I got extremely tired.
