It was strange, how much she enjoyed it. There was nothing that could dampen her mood. Well maybe two things. One being the world exploding into a million peices and the other being milk. DAMN did she hate milk. However, there was no milk in sight. No, instead there were blood, guts, intestines, and other, dismember body parts as far as the eye could see.

"Hehe….. Debra should have done a better job at this!" The girl mused, as she played with a severed head. "These 'guards' are nothing compared to me. The girl continued down the hallway she was in, trying to find an exit. "Although… This prison is quite intricate…." The girl continued down the seemingly never ending hallway. "Ugh….. This will take a while to get out of… won't it?" She whispered to the severed head. "Oh well. If it's one thing that I have that Debra doesn't, it's time. And lot's of it…." The girl began to slam her body against the wall.

The Next Day….

So, what would you like for breakfast, Lucy?" Rin asked. He was standing over by the stove, every cooking supply that he may need at the ready. The rest of the gang was sitting at the table awaiting for their breakfast. Rin, seeing as how Lucy was the newest member of their little family, thought she should get to choose what they had for breakfast.

"Pancakes!" Dugo said excitedly, standing up on his chair.

"Is your name Lucy?" Jacob mused, looking up from a newspaper he had somehow gotten and was reading.

"N-no….." Dugo replied, his enthusiasm draining.

"Pancakes are fine." Lucy chimed in.

"Are you sure? I don't Dugo influencing your decision." Rin asked.

"I'm sure." She said.

"Alright then." Rin shrugged.

"Yes!" Dugo exclaimed. After Rin whipped up enough pancakes for the whole lot of them, they all sat down and ate.

"So, Lucy, you're the daughter of Astaroth, King of Rot, right?" Emily asked, her mouth stilled filled with pancakes.

"Yes."

"So what can you do? Like do you have any powers? Like Dugo's Fire or Jacob's Fire?" It was the first time Lucy actually looked surprised. Her eyes lit up and she turned her head and stared directly at Dugo.

"Y-you have fire abilities….?" She stammered out, out of character. You could visible see she was trying to distance herself from Dugo, whom she was sitting next to.

"Yea, wanna see?" Dugo said, smiling. He obviously wasn't aware that something about fire made her uneasy.

"Wait! That's right! We never told Lucy whose children we are. All she knows is that we are half demons."

Jacob said, speaking up.

"That's a good point." David said. "Well, I'm the son of Lucifer, King of Light. Emily is the daughter of Amaimon, King of Earth. Jacob, as you know, is the son of Eygn, King of Water. Dugo is Son of Iblis, King of Fire. And Rin…. Well, Rin's the son of Satan."

'Why didn't Sophie alert me of this? She only told me there would be five people….' Lucy idly wondered as David launched into his explanation.

"Uh-h… excuse me…." Lucy said, getting up and heading towards the bedroom hallway. David, having also not seen how distressed she was at the mention of fire said,

"Was it something I said…?"

"No… I don't think so." Rin said. "I think someone should go check on her."

"I will." Jacob offered, as he rose from his chair. Nobody objected to it. Jacob walked down the hall and opened the door to the room that was now Lucy's, but she wasn't there. He was slightly shocked until his enhanced hearing alerted him to the running water in the bathroom. When he opened the door, he saw Lucy, drawing the bath.

"Little early for a bath wouldn't you say?" Jacob asked.

"It's a reasonable time. It's already 10:30." Lucy responded, not making eye contact.

"On a Saturday….. before breakfast." Jacob countered. "Plus you walked away from a plate of piping hot pancakes to come take it." Quietly, in an almost whisper, Lucy said,

"Fire can't burn water…."

"It can boil it."

"Not as fast as I can try and put it out." She snapped her head towards him, staring him dead in the eyes.

"Okay, tell me. What happened?"

"What do you mean?" Lucy asked, her voice breaking slightly. Obviously, she knew what he meant.

"Why are you afraid of fire?" He asked, approaching her, reaching over her, and turning off the bath. Sighing, Lucy responded,

"House fire. It killed my mother."

"Father?"

"Never had one. Half-demons don't normally have two parents, because one's a demon."

"Hmph. That's not always the case. The demon could posses the father and impregnate the mother." Jacob responded.

"Really? Interesting."

"Now, I promise you. Both Rin and Dugo have complete control over their abilities, and neither of them would hurt you." Jacob tried to assure her.

"I know that…. I mean, why save me if they just wanted to hurt me? It's just hard." Lucy replied, a her voice a tad bit somber.

"What if I promise to stay with? At all times. If, for whatever reason, a fire miraculously starts, I'll put it out, okay?" Jacob offered, crouching down so that he was eye level with her.

"I'd like that." Lucy said, seemingly regained her composure in an instant.

"Great. Now, let's go eat some pancakes." Jacob grabbed her hand, leading her to the door. However, she resisted slightly, getting him to look at her.

"But… if you break your promise… I'll have to kill you." Jacob stared at the girl. It as strange. He couldn't tell if the threat was said angrily or remorsefully. However, he was certain it was said seriously. Smiling he replied,

"I wouldn't dream of breaking it." They continued out of the bathroom, this time Lucy coming willingly.

"What about your job? How are you going to get around that?"

"You'd come with me of course. Nobody's going to be surprised that a little girl showed up at the zoo."

"And when I appear day after day?"

"I don't work everyday. I only work four times a week." Jacob countered.

"Then when they see me four times a week?"

"Man you plan far ahead don't you?"

"I have to." Lucy replied.

"Well, if worst comes to worse, I'll quit." This got Lucy to stare at him is disbelief.

"Y-You'd quit your job for me? A random girl you met literally less than twenty four hours ago."

"I just made you a promise didn't I? Doesn't matter how long I've known you. I always keep my promises." For the first time in a long time, Lucy smiled.

Fujimoto was not disappointed. When he reached the basement, the card was glowing it's brightest. However, he couldn't find anything in the basement, so he believed that the Moon Stone must've been further beneath the building's foundation. Seeing as he could do nothing, he planned to return the next day. However, he realised that he wouldn't be able to get through the solid concrete alone, so he called up his friend Jeff from America for help, yet again.

"Jeff? Hey, I need your help again."

"Shiroooooooo! What's up?! Need some more translating?"

"No, nothing like that. I'm undertaking in a mission that I can't do alone. It's an 'off the record' kind of thing."

"Oh…." Jeff responded, and after the seriousness of Fujimoto's voice sank in, he said, "Oh…" in a much deeper, serious tone. "Give me a little while, I should be there soon. You caught me in the middle of…. of ahhh… eating breakfast! I'll finish it real quick and be over."

Before Fujimoto could even question the strange, obvious lie his friend just told him, Jeff hung up the phone. In all actuality though, Jeff could leave at anytime. However, he was captivated by a local story on the news. It was the biggest piece of local news that had happened in awhile. A, no longer, secret military base hidden in the plains of Pennsylvania.

It had been raided, stolen from, and exploded. The news reporter said that the blast should have been much bigger, but it appears that most of what was stolen WAS explosives.

"I was shocked when I heard the blast. I was just driving along the road, when it happened." said a man that called that police and news station. After hearing the end of the broadcast, Jeff suited up and headed to Fujimoto's. However, what the news report didn't say was HOW the person got it. It also didn't say that the only thing recovered from the blast that could link it to the thief, was a strange, empty vial.

The boulder slammed to the ground, inches from where Debra was standing. She stared at the man who threw it, a smile spreading wide. It was obvious that the man had missed on purpose. It was a warning shot, so to speak. However, Debra wasn't scared.

"Is that all you've got?" She called out mockingly. However, the man's expression didn't change. Debra scanned him over one more time. She was still surprised that the man had been able to lift that boulder, let alone through it. The man had to be at least 70 years old. He was either bald, or had shaved his head. He was wearing some dirty robes, and had to use a cane to support himself. He was also almost completely hunched over. Obviously, he had strong faith and a strong spiritual connection to have the strength that he did.

"What have you come here for, Demon?" The man asked, speaking his native tongue of Swahili. Seeing as how she knew every language and the man only knew one, Debra felt she should at least give him the courtesy of communication.

"Those beads." Debra responded in Swahili, as she gestured to the beads that hung around his neck.

"Well…." The old man said clapping his hands together in a wide arc, "...COME AND GET THEM!" He roared. Instantly, a immensely powerful wave of energy came out of the old man. It didn't phase Debra, but she had to admit, it was impressive…. for a mortal. Accepting the challenge, Debra launched into action, flying at the man. However, without warning the man threw off the dank, old robes he had been wearing. Underneath he was only wearing some underwear. Afterwards, he proceeded to grow in size and stature, seemingly reversing his age. His skin became smoother, his muscles bigger, and his arched back gone. Debra didn't let his change in appearance stop her though. She continued

with her attack, swinging her fist straight for the man's head. He blocked it with his arm and, much to Debra's surprise, was barely pushed back.

'Hmph…. most people get knocked out cold by one of my punches..' Debra backed up, trying a psychic attack, rather than a physical one. Being the child of The Demon King of Time and Space had it's perks. She used the 'space' part of her abilities to try and penetrate the man's mind. She's done this many times before to many people, but it wasn't working on the old man.

"Those must be some pretty powerful beads, to protect you from my onslaught." Debra said, abandoning the psychic attack.

"So you see why I won't give them up so easily." The man responded. Changing her tactics, Debra slowed down time, charging at the man at full speed. The man's reaction time was fast, but not faster than Debra and her abilities. She was able to get in two swift punches, before the slowed down man could even react. However, time manipulation took a lot out of Debra. If she didn't end him quickly, she wouldn't be able to win. As she danced around the man, punching and kicking rapidly, she fumbled to think of a plan. Her punches seemed to do less and less with each strike. Debra, abandoning the thought of winning the match, decided to just grab the man's bead necklace and take off. That was a mistake. When she went to grab them, the Man somehow gained tons of speed and was able to grab Debra's arm. With a strong grip he picked her up and threw Debra across the clearing they were in. Slamming into a tree, Debra had to stop slowing down time. She couldn't supply enough energy to maintain it anymore.

"You are really pissing me off old man!" She roared. She stood up, brushed her pants off and sighed. "I was really hoping I could beat you in a fair fight. However, those holy beads of your's are just too annoying." Debra pulled out a walkie talkie from her jacket and, in English, spoke into it saying, "Just kill him." Afterwards, a single gunshot could be heard from somewhere nearby. The old man didn't see it coming. It struck him right between the eyes. Without any last words, he fell over and died, blood staining the grass where his head landed.

"Fucking old man….. Didn't even think that the battle could involve guns. He thought it would just be me and him….. Damn I hate cheating…" Debra said to herself as she gently took the beads from the man's neck.

"Shall we leave?" a voice called from behind her.

"Yes. We need to see how your husband faired on his own mission."

After a short trip through the jungles of Africa, Debra and David's Mother returned to their 'base'. David's father was waiting there for them. When they saw each other, David's parents hugged each other.

"Was your mission successful?" David's father asked, releasing his wife. Debra held up the beads, replying,

"You tell me. How was yours?"

"Quite successful." He said, motioning to the corner, where boxes upon boxes of dynamite were stacked up.

"The key and poison worked?" Debra asked.

"Yes. The key got me into the compound and the corrosive acid in the vial you gave me was more than enough to get through the safe. It was just a matter of carrying the explosives here."

"Perfect. I think we are all set. Now all we need is that kid." Debra said.

"And then we can do it? Then we can finally kill her?" David's mother asked.

"Yes. Emma with finally die. Once and for all. And if all else fails…. We have the back up plan." Debra said, pointing to the explosives.

"It was a mistake ever creating her… She's an abomination to man and demon kind." David's father said, his voice grim.

"That it was, but now you two are all done with your duties. I no longer need your services." Without so much as a warning, Debra rushed the couple and ripped both of their throats out. The two probably didn't even see it coming.

"It's too bad. I kind of liked having helpers. However, you can't trust exorcist… even if they are 'retired'." Debra proceeded to contruct her plan. Soon…. Soon she'd be able to right her past wrongs. She'd be able to rid of the world of her half sister…..
