A week had passed since I was staying with my dad in Santa Monica. Every morning I would wake up from texts from Colby, some of how he's missing me and others of cute little reminders that he can't wait till I come back. Surprisingly though I hadn't heard from Jon and honestly it was bothering me. Was I that easy to ignore? Was he too busy?

I jumped out of bed and out of thought, when I slipped my slippers on my feet and headed out to the kitchen. The smell of coffee filled the air and I was in heaven.

"Morning sweetheart." I heard my mother say. "I made some decaf for you, I know it's not exactly what you like but.." I laughed. "No it's perfect. It smells amazing. Thank you." She nodded as she walked around the counter to sit down on a stool. "So how are you feeling?" She asked. I poured coffee into a mug as I turned to her with a smile. "Better. I mean.. It's weird. I haven't heard from Jon since I left. I know I asked for space and everything but I just thought he would call at least." I sipped some of the coffee as my mother laughed. "Sweetie, he's only doing what you asked. He's giving you time. I'm sure he misses you and Harmony." I smiled as my father walked back into the house from the back porch.

"Morning babygirl. Oooh coffee!" I rolled my eyes as he came over and grabbed a cup out of the cabinet.

"So I thought maybe we could go do some baby shopping today?" My mother asked. I nodded. "Sure.. I could always use more clothes and diapers for her."

My father laughed as he turned around to us. "You two have fun with that! But here.." He pulled his wallet out as he took a couple twenties out. I extended my hand out. "Oh dad no.. You don't have to do that." He placed the money on the counter. "I know but I want to. I'm going to be a grandpa after all so I might as well spoil her now."

*knock knock*

We all looked at each other in confusion as my dad decided to be the one to go to the door.

"Hello sir... Is Maddy here?" I heard a familiar voice ask. My heart skipped.

"Yeah she's in the kitchen.. Come on in." I watched my dad stepped aside as Jon walked in the house. He turned towards the kitchen in his blue cut up jeans, a Las Vegas gray t shirt, and his curly beautiful hair all over his face. I smiled. He looked so good. He walked up to me with his hands in his pockets as I heard my mother get up from the stool.

"Hey Dan why don't we go out to the beach and let them two talk."

My father nodded as they headed out to the back porch shutting the glass door behind them.

"What are you doing here?" I asked.

"I just wanted to make sure you two were okay..." He said as he looked down at my stomach.

"Yeah... We are. Umm... So you're probably wondering who that lady is, right? Well.. Surprise! It's my mother.."

Jons eyes lit up. "Your... Your mother?" He asked in shock. I nodded.

"Yeah... That was exactly my reaction when I saw her. A little more anger but definitely spot on."

I watched as he took his hand out of his pocket and brushed his hair back. "Wow! Well... I'm guessing things are okay with you two?" I nodded again. "Surprisingly yes, I mean I was kinda rude to her when I first saw her but I don't know... She's changed. I mean I know she's not perfect but Harmony deserves to have what we never did."

"A family." He said. "Yeah.. A good one. She deserves that."

He smiled. "You're going to be a great mother Maddy."

I smiled as I took him in. Those beautiful blue eyes looking at me and his gorgeous smile with dimples that could kill. I missed him.

"But umm.. I'm sorry for coming over. I just wanted to make sure you two were okay. I will leave now.." He turned to leave as I grabbed his arm to stop him. "Wait..." He turned back around as I kept my hand on his arm. "You don't have to go." He smiled. "Are you sure?" He asked.

In that moment I knew. I knew by just stopping him from leaving and telling him he can stay, he was what my heart truly wanted. I wrapped my arms around his neck as I smiled. "I've never been surer in my life." He laughed as he lowered his face down to me, placing his lips against mine, making my heart skip with just the touch of him again. His hand glided against my face as he held onto it deepening the kiss. I moaned from the feeling of his tongue sliding in, making me laugh in the kiss.

"God I missed you." He explained. "I missed you both so much."

I glided my fingers along his cheek as I smiled. "We've missed you too."

Looking at him I could tell he was holding something back and I was starting to worry. "Jon.. I know you and I can tell something is on your mind.. What's wrong?" I asked. He pulled off of me as he held onto my hands. "As happy as I am that I'm with you right now and knowing you've missed me, I gotta ask... What does this all mean? What about your feelings for Colby?" I knew he was going to ask and he had every right to.

"My father told me something the first night I was here and it made perfect sense to what I was going through. I don't really have feelings for him... At least not love. He's more of an addiction to me. I was so... Well... Drunk in love that I didn't realize what I was doing or what I was losing. But being here and being away from him and all the chaos and temptation, I honestly haven't wanted to talk to him. My first thought waking up this morning, even after all the messages I received from Colby, was you. I was wondering why you never called or texted me. I was so focused on you and us than I was anything else. I knew that my heart truly belonged to you the second I stopped you from leaving today. I couldn't stand being away from you again, not like how we were. So to answer your question, there is no Colby for me. At least not romantically. I love you Jon, I always have. I'm sorry I got so caught up in him and the fact I almost lost you because of that kills me."

He pulled me into his arms as I felt his heart beating against my ear. "You would never lose me Maddy. I love you." He pulled out of the hug as he grabbed my left hand. "And this ring shows how much I love you." I laughed as he looked at me confused. "I'm sorry it's just... I realized I have been wearing this ring since you put it on. If I really needed time to figure out my heart I would of taken it off till then. But I didn't and.. And why? Because my heart knew all along who it belonged to." Jon laughed as well. "See... Sometimes the answers are right in front of you and we don't even realize it. Life is crazy like that I guess." I smiled as I reached back up to his neck and wrapped my arms around it again. "As long as I live my life with you, it can be as crazy as it wants." He smiled as he leaned down placing his lips against mine once more.

"So... Would you like to meet my mother?" I asked him. He nodded. "Sure.. If that's okay." I took his hand into mine as I walked him out to the back porch. I saw my parents sitting at the table as they saw us coming out.

"Mother... This is Jon." She stood up from the table as Jon extended his hand out for hers. "Nice to meet you."

She smiled, opening her arms. "Oh sweetie.. I'm more of a hugging kind of person." He laughed as he accepted and hugged her. "But it's nice to finally meet you! You're a handsome man, Maddy wasn't lying."

I started to blush as I covered my face. "Oh my gosh... I can't believe you just said that." They all laughed as I heard my father tap the table. "Come on over here son.. Sit down, relax. I'm sure you're exhausted from being on the road." Jon nodded. "You have no idea." He sat down across from my parents as he turned to look at me. "You want to join us?" He asked. I nodded. "I would love to.. Let me go grab my coffee. You want some?" Jon nodded as I headed inside and let them three talk and get acquainted.

I poured a cup of coffee for Jon as I heard my phone going off in the room. I rolled my eyes as I headed down the hall and into the room to grab it.

*Incoming Call: Colby*

I sighed. I knew I needed to talk to him and let him know I figured everything out but I couldn't face breaking his heart. I watched the phone call end as I stared at it for a little. I felt horrible for ignoring it, but I needed a little time before telling him. Within a minute I watched his name flash across the screen again letting me know he was calling once more. I held the power button down as I slide the screen across to turn off the phone. I couldn't handle him right now, nor did I really want to. Eventually I knew I had to tell him but right now just wasn't the right time.

I headed back into the kitchen as I grabbed the cups of coffee and headed back outside.

"There you are.. Everything okay?" My mother asked.

I nodded. "Yeah.. Of course."

I sat down next to Jon as he grabbed ahold of my hand. "You sure?" He asked in concern. "Yes babe.. I'm okay. I promise. So what were you guys talking about?" My mother started laughing as did Jon. "Well.. Funny story... I was telling your parents about my match last night..." Jon went on to tell his story as I just stared into his eyes, his lovely blue crystal eyes. I felt the warmth of his hand in mine and the touch of his fingers laced with mine; it all felt so right and in place. He would begin to laugh as he was telling his story and that cute innocent smile of his would appear just enough to make my heart melt. The precious dimples he wore from smiling would appear as well and I couldn't help but fall more in love with them. He was beautiful and he was all mine.
