Mara went downstairs and found Prue going through a lot of photography equipment. "Holy shirtballs, this is the photography motherload."

Prue looked over the digital camera in her hand, saying, "Yeah, I know it's a lot, but so much of photography has gone digital now so I've got to make sure I have the right equipment."

Mara looked from inside the shipping box to Prue. "You're really doing it? You're gonna pursue photography professionally?"

Prue looked at her with hesitation. "What, you don't think I should?"

"I totally think you should!" Mara answered excitedly. "I remember you always talking about photography being your dream. You should absolutely go for it." She giggled and went around the table to hug Prue. "I'm so happy for you!"

Prue laughed and hugged her back. "And it's not just because you want to borrow some of this some time?"

Mara stepped back with a grin and held her finger and thumb up, bringing them closer together. "Maybe just a little bit."

Prue did the same in a joking manner. "A little bit?" She laughed and swatted Mara's behind. "More like a lot."

Mara laughed as she bolted away from Prue back to the other side of the table. "Can you blame me? I mean you are my inspiration for taking those classes."

"As long as you enjoy it I am proud to be your muse." Prue lifted the camera and jokingly 'took a picture' of Mara even though the camera was off.

Mara, knowing her picture wasn't really being taken, made a funny pose and the two of them laughed because of it. Mara then caught the time and went, "Oh, I gotta go."

"Meeting up with that friends of yours we still haven't met?" Prue and her sisters knew that Mara had a friend who was a few years older than her and wanted to meet her, but somehow no matter what they planned it never worked out.

"You'll meet eventually, I promise." Mara pressed her hands to her lips and threw them out towards Prue before grabbing her bag and heading out the door.

Mara and Paige were perusing through the Occult Shop when the teenager who worked in the Shop came over to them.

"Afternoon, ladies. We've got a bunch of fresh herbs if you're interested in whipping up some magic today."

Paige thought all this magic stuff wasn't real but Mara was into it so she never put it down or anything like that. Besides, it was pretty interesting. "Hi Deacon. Do you have any of that tea we got last time?"

"Oh, yeah, that stuff is amazing." Mara still didn't know that the Deacon she'd frequently seen at this Shop was the same Deacon the sisters saw and knew in the future – only ten years younger. Apparently the sisters didn't realize during their trip to the future that the 'teenager' they had taken in was actually a decade older than he looked, and thus Mara never made the connection.

"Absolutely." Deacon went to the shelves behind the counter and removed two velvet pouches from the shelf and handed it to them. "Where's Landon been? I haven't seen him around for awhile."

"He moved back in with his folks. He didn't stop by before leaving?" Mara thought that was a bit odd and would definitely mention it to Landon the next time they spoke.

Deacon shook his head. "Nope. At least it wasn't a spell gone wrong."

"No worries on that front." Mara handed over the money for the tea with a, "Bye, Deacon," before leaving the Shop with Paige.

Once they were outside, Paige asked a bit worriedly, "You and Landon didn't actually try those spells and potions did you? I mean, the mystical stuff is cool and all but to actually attempt it isn't safe. Who knows what the wrong combo would do?"

Mara stopped her right there and laughed a bit. "Paige, calm down. We're all good, promise." She linked her arm with Paige's and continued down the road.

"Alright, I trust you, but I still worry about you. You've become the little sister I never had." Paige couldn't imagine anything bad happening to her.

"Awwww! You do care!" Mara heavily teased and laughed as Paige playfully pushed her away.

When Mara got home, she passed Darryl on the way out. Instead of asking him what was going on, she booked it into the Manor. "What happened?" was her instant question as soon as she walked through the door.

"We tried calling but you left your phone here," Piper explained before getting into that happened. "Prue's been kidnapped. Bane Jessup broke out of jail this morning and he was the one who took her."

"Bane? Wait – Bane was in the guy who was working with the Barbas?" Mara looked at the sisters as they both nodded. "I'm gonna go see if I can summon up anything from the crystal ball." Before the sisters could stop her, Mara had already bolted up the stairs.

"You ever get the feeling that Prue's her favorite?" Phoebe asked, wondering if Piper thought the same thing.

"Of course not. Mara loves all of us." Piper tried her very best to sound convincing but when she looked at Phoebe, she caved, "Oh yeah. We've so been replaced."

"That's what I thought." Phoebe wasn't offended or anything, not really, but didn't think or say anything more about it because they had to get moving and find their sister.

Apparently Bane was attacked by a pair of Demons who used a particular weapon that could only be activated by one. They found it in the Book but it didn't say which Demon gave them out to their followers and there were quite a few who fit the description. During this research session, Prue Astral Projected herself into the Attic and told them that it was a trap and not to look for her and 'poofed' before anything else could be said or asked.

Mara was getting so frustrated by this that she snatched up the weapon with the intent of taking it to the Loft to see if it was in the Tome but didn't make it a step because somehow she set it off and shot an energy beam or something out of it that hit the dressmaker's dummy and made it explode.

Mara screamed when this happened and dropped the weapon and shot her hands up. "I thought you said only Demons could activate it!"

"That's what the Book said." Phoebe went over and picked the weapon up from the floor. She aimed it at something harmless and tried to activate it herself but couldn't.

"I'm really starting to freak out here." Mara shook out her hands because of Phoebe couldn't activate it, then why could she be able to?

"Maybe it has something to do with being an Immortal Witch," Piper reasoned. "Maybe your neutral spectrum or something can set it off?" That was the only explanation because Mara's mother is an Immortal Witch and her father was a mortal, so there wasn't anything else that could even remotely make sense.

Mara felt a bit better after hearing that. "You're probably right. But I'm not gonna touch that thing again." She pointed firmly at the weapon in Phoebe's hand before shaking her body out. "I'm going to get the Tome from the Loft. I'll be right back."

It wasn't until Mara left that Phoebe turned to Piper. "Do you really think an Immortal Witch can set it off?"

Piper put her hands on the back of her hips and shook her head while shrugging. "I don't know what else to think." And with that, they left the topic alone…for now.

Mara returned a few moments later with the Tome in hand and set it upon the extra book stand within the Attic. "I've been thinking about something. You know, I can Call things and Push things, so would it be crazy if I tried to Push myself to Prue?"

As soon as Mara finished that sentence shimmering lights appeared around her and made her disappear from the Attic.

The sisters both gasped upon seeing this happened and went to stand where Mara just had in case she turned invisible somehow or something. Finally Phoebe said, "Did she just teleport somehow?"

Piper didn't know for certain but said, "If that's what happened then she did what she wanted to. Let's just hope she Pushed herself to Prue."

This turn of events didn't change anything because if Mara couldn't control her growing power then there'd be no way for her to get back so the plan was still the same – They had to find Prue and fast.

The shimmering lights around Mara disappeared and she found herself in a house that didn't look like it had finished being built. Mara had no idea where she was but slowly moved into the other room in case she did Push herself to where Prue. In the next room she did find Prue talking to Bane…who was wrapped up in a drop cloth.

"And here I thought you were in danger." That was Mara's greeting as she walked over to them.

Prue whipped around and couldn't believe her eyes when she saw Mara. "How did you get here?"

"I Pushed myself I think, but that doesn't matter. What the hell is going on, Prue?! We've been worried sick about you!" Mara moved past Prue and went up to Bane with a finger pointed right at him. "And you! I have so many bones to pick with you!"

Bane held up one hand to show he meant no harm as he used the other to keep the drop cloth in place while backing away from her.

Prue turned Mara around, saying, "There's a Demon Litvak going after Bane. He's not the bad guy this time, Mara. I believe that and I need you to believe that, too."

Mara narrowed her eyes at Prue in frustration before groaning in frustration. "Ugh! Fine! Only because it's you asking. But if Mr. Tall-Dark-and Naked over there even gives off a vibe that he's going to hurt us, I'm going to Push him into the Bay." She turned around to Bane. "Got that?"

Prue pressed her lips together to keep herself from laughing. "Okay, so, Mara, can you Push us all back to the Manor?"

"Theoretically? I don't know!" Mara rubbed her face. "How about the two of you finish getting dressed then we can give it a try? I'll be in the other room." She pointed to the room she first appeared in and went straight there, muttering as she went, "This is insane."

A couple minutes later, Bane and Prue joined her. Mara held out her hands saying, "Since I have no idea how this works let's all join hands." She gave Bane a bit of an evil eye as he took Prue's hand then hers. Once they were all linked, she thought back what she said that Pushed her to Prue and changed it to, "Push us to the Halliwell Manor." Shimmering lights appeared around the three of them which made them disappear from where they stood.

The next thing they knew, they were in the Manor's foyer right in front of Phoebe and Piper who were on their way out. Mara was the first one to speak, saying to the sisters, "I'll let Prue fill you in. I need an aspirin." And so Mara left them all to discuss while she went on the search for said aspirin.

Mara sat in the conservatory with the Sisters and Bane as she looked in the entry about Litvak in the Book. Since there was nothing in there about how to vanquish him, they were discussing whether or not they should do anything about him at all.

"Where's our Guardian Demon when we need her," Phoebe added into the discussion with a sigh.

Piper didn't like that Phoebe's mind went there. "As grateful as I am that She's helped up vanquish our bad guys, I do not want to willingly bring Her into our lives until we know for sure just what She is."

"How about we focus on Litvak?" Prue wanted them to get back on track. "If we're going to go after him then we all need to work together, with Bane."

Piper crossed her arms and let out a deep breath. Looking to Mara, she asked, "You think you can activate that weapon again if you had to?"

"I seem to be able to do a lot things today I didn't think I could, so why not?" Mara saw the questioning look on Prue's face and filled her in. "I accidentally set the weapon off earlier. It's an Immortal Witch loophole."

Prue thought that was a bit odd but it'd have to be something they got into later. "Okay, well with our combined arsenals let's take out Litvak before he tries to do the same to us."

Mara walked through the cemetery with the Sisters and Bane where Litvak lived. The plan was to go into the coliseum which doubled as Litvak's hideout, and get the lackey Demon to use the Weapon on Litvak. Why wasn't Mara to use it? Because Bane changed the plan by saying that he needed to show Litvak some good faith or else he'd be killed on spot.

Well long story short, Piper froze the Demons and Bane but Litvak didn't freeze and mentioned something about The Source. Before Mara could respond and defend against Bane's betrayal, Prue convinced Piper to unfreeze Bane. Piper did, so Bane went over to the frozen Demon, used them to activate the Weapon aimed at Litvak, and when Litvak tried to do the same both Demons ended up vanquishing each other.

At the end of all that, Mara put her hands on the back of her hips with a bit of disappointment. "And here I was actually looking forward to vanquishing the creeps."

Phoebe side hugged Mara with a smile, saying, "Aww, next time, sweetie. Next time."
