Day: October 28nd, 6:00 pm.
Countdown: 2 days, 8 hours.
Jack frost flew into the globe room of the North Pole. "Hey big guy why'd you call us here?" Jack asked as he looked around to see all of his friends save for tooth.
"Well I called you all here to ask assistance of you. In leu of recent events most of our homes are damaged. So I figured that we could use each other and help rebuild them." Santa grinned.
"Seems fair." Bunnymund said with a grin.
"Well seeing as that I have no home what would be in it for me?" Jack asked pointing to himself.
"You will be able to visit us sometimes." Tooth said dropping down next to Jack with a smile.
Jack looked around at the other guardians. If they knew about what happened several days ago they gave no hint about it. Santa probably had them working late helping him build toys to replace the others that were destroyed. Christmas was practically a couple of months away month away after all. They all looked tired, crippled, and worn out. Save for Tooth and himself.
"Now onto the second piece of business." North smiled.
Everyone looked at North with a smile on there face save for Jack, whom was inspecting why they were smiling. "Wh-what else is their?" Jack wondered.
"Reporting in." North smiled as he pulled a large lever that opened the roof.
As the roof rumbled open something immediately seemed off, like a chilling feeling crept into the room and consumed everything within the workshop. Further and further the roof opened and finally it stopped. They saw the sky in all of its wonder glaring back at them in beautiful black splendor, the blackish grey clouds swimming within its vast seas like massive wales within the ocean.
"Absolutely bloody beautiful." Bunny gasped.
"It has been a while since we have looked up at the sky together and just enjoyed the cold of the night." Tooth grinned as she grabbed out for jacks hand. Jack obliged her this pleasure and her skin tingled with shivering giddiness as his cold skin touched hers.
Everyone else was too busy paying attention to the sky to notice Tooth's gesture.
"Wait a minuet…. Where is the moon?" North asked.
Suddenly everyone knew something was very wrong. The creeping, cold, feeling that devoured them struck there core.
"It is supposed to be a full moon tonight, and this isn't a city, where are the stars?" Jack wondered. He gripped his staff now with both hands, leaving Tooth's hands feeling empty and jealous. Jack looked around at his friends before leaping into the air and letting the north wind carry him high into the blackened sky. It was not long before he heard a strange shifting sound, like a dust devil pounding away at a sandy desert, and after another minuet of flying he realized what was the source of the sound.

Inside of the observatory Father Snow was looking through a looking glass trying to find any source of light from the heavens while Bunnymund was talking to the silent sandman. Tooth looked down at her hand that had held jacks. It felt, empty, and not because she was not holding anything. The feeling puzzled her.
After what seemed like an hour of noise and thoughts jack came crashing back into the observatory.
"It isn't clouds, it's dust, zillions of dust particles. They are covering the sky as far as I can see. They have blotted out all light. It is an eternal night."
