Rat's PoV
I carefully walked into the Archives a few minutes after Willow. As I entered I saw her sitting at a table with about three or four books, constantly reading them and then writing notes. This was unusual for a girl like her to do, but that was something Nova used to do all the time when she wanted to learn about something important. I looked closely at her, and the books she was reading. Schizophrenia? Magic? Gene splicing? Why was she reading these? It must be something that the others don't know about, by the looks of the genetic and magical books she seemed to be studying…herself? Or was she studying more than just herself? I needed more information, I had to directly approach her and talk to her, but how risky would it be just to do that? Her enemy wanting to talk to her? More and more questions built up until I felt as if I had no choice but to ask her. I gathered all my strength, took a deep breath and walked over to her.
Willow's PoV
I was almost finished reading when I heard a voice say my name. I looked up and got the shock of my life when I saw the guy from the Nether right in front of me. I quickly stood up and threatened to fire a wither bolt at him, and he quickly told me he came in peace. Did I believe him? Not really, but something told me I should, chances were it was that girl I had met in my dream, the one who I had some here to understand. All I know right now is that this guy knows who Nova is, and that's a good enough reason to keep him alive.
"I just want to talk." he said to me.
"Then talk away, I want to listen to what you have to say." I replied.
"Wait, really? You want to? Your enemy?"
"Neither of us killed the other yet, so I'm pretty sure you're here for some other reason. It's about Nova isn't it?"
"How do you know about Nova? What did you do with her? Did you kill her?" The boy seemed to be tensing up as he said this. "No," I replied. "I didn't kill her. Nobody did. I…am Nova."
The boy just stood there, confused and relieved. He didn't say anything, so I decided to continue.
"When I say am her I mean I'm what's left of her, she told me in a dream that Herobrine created me by overwriting her DNA, her mind still exists inside mine but her physical body I'm not so sure about."
"I see. And you're trying to figure out as much as you can so you can…" He trailed off, seemingly trying to tell me to finish the sentence.
"Just cause, I guess." I said simply.
He was disappointed, I could tell. "So, you're not trying to find a way to cure it?"
"If I do, I'll tell you, okay? Now I really have to go, they'll get suspicious if I'm gone too long."
"Alright, we have some things to care of here too."
As I left, I looked back at him. He seemed deeply concerned about me, like if we wasn't sure I was his friend or his enemy. To be honest, I was probably both…
