I really apologize for the delay. It's just that my creative juices for my other story (my first ever crossover : The Eternal Price) kicked in and I can let the ideas go to waste. The personality of the characters will differ from the anime/manga so please don't compare them from the original. They are normal people in love in my FFN world - in other words, they will be OOC every now and then.

If you don't know who Naruto Uzumaki, Itachi Uchiha and Sasuke Uchiha is, don't read. If Yaoi disturbs you, don't read either. Slight SasuNaru at first, but this is purely SasuIta and not the other way around.

Chapter 34
Sasuke spent the next 6 hours making new scents. Locked in his laboratory, he combined oils and chemicals, heating and mixing them.
When he was able to create 5 new scents, he took a break. He jogged past Mei's office. She immediately called unto him.
"Sasuke... your phone kept ringing. I had no choice but to answer it." she said as she handed him his phone. Damn! He forgot to tell Itachi that he will be busy!
"Your boyfriend sounded upset. It was good to practice my Japanese over again." she smiled as she rested her chin on her hand.
"I forgot to tell him I will be working. Now he will think I am screwing around." Sasuke smiled sheepishly. Mei laughed, it's been a long time since Sasuke juggled about work and relationship. He liked it when Sasuke was in love. He could be too uptight sometimes.
"I told him where you where, he seemed upset but he accepted the neglect. Now go call him and make it up to him..." Mei told the man and shooed him away. Sasuke laughed and exited her room.
He glanced at his watch and did some quick arithmetic... it would be around 10 in the evening in Japan. He dialed Itachi's number and waited for the man to answer his phone.
"Hey, Sasuke! How are you?" Naruto's voice welcomed him. So the blond was with Itachi. It was Thursday night, they might have spent the evening together or something.
"Hello, Naruto. I'm doing good. Is Itachi there?" he asked, hoping that his boyfriend wasn't upset with him - reaching the point of not talking to him.
There was a shuffle and then silence.
"Hello, Kobito. You finally took a break..." Itachi's rich baritone broke the silence. Sasuke felt excitement rush through his veins. He really did love Itachi's sexy voice.
"Yeah, I am sorry I haven't texted you that I would be working for a bit." Sasuke apologized. He heard Itachi's faint laugh. Heaven's he missed that laugh.
"That is all right. I just thought of you earlier that is why I decided to call you..." he said but he heard the blond gave out a protest.
"Neh, don't believe him Sasuke. He was thinking of you the whole day. I had to make sure he wasn't crying..." the blond laughed and he heard a few slaps.
"Sorry about that Koibito..." Sasuke could picture Itachi blushing at this point.
"I love you... I will be home soon. Will you pick me up?" he asked sweetly.
"Of course. I will pick you up and then lock you in my room." Itachi whispered. Sasuke was the one who blushed this time. He wouldn't mind being locked in Itachi's room.
"Is that a promise?" he teased Itachi.
"Of course, I will make you forget Paris." Itachi cooed.
Sasuke wanted to go home badly. He would be willing to surrender everything he had in Paris to be with Itachi.
"You two are really cheesy, do you know that?" Naruto loudly stated. Sasuke had to laugh. Being in love can actually make you do things you never imagined doing. He loved the feeling of being in love and being loved back. It was a very nice feeling he can get used to everyday.
"Naruto will be sleeping over. He said that he doesn't trust me when I am alone." Itachi told Sasuke. The young raven smiled. He would have to give Naruto a massive present when he comes home. The blond was a perfect distraction for Itachi.
"That is good. I will not be that worried anymore, mon amour..." Sasuke stated. Itachi smiled at the new nickname.
"Go and have yourself some lunch." Itachi told Sasuke.
"You and Naruto must not stay up too late. It's bad for the skin and the eyes..." Sasuke informed his lover.
"Yes, we will not stay up late. Have a good day, Koibito." Itachi stated.
"Have a good evening, Tachi-kun. I love you..." Sasuke said.
"And I love you more..." Itachi responded.
The conversation ended, yet Sasuke stood glued to his current position. He was savoring Itachi's sweet voice and words. He was madly in love with the man. Far deeper than his first serious relationship.
Sasuke knew he couldn't live without Itachi. The missing part of his soul that he had always prayed the heavens for was finally given to him.
He placed his phone in his pocket and went to the closest diner to get himself some coffee and a sandwich. He was so inspired that he wanted to get to work right away.
After his purchase, he went directly to his laboratory. He set his food aside and took and empty cylinder. He closed his eyes and imagined how he can describe Itachi's scent.
His professional self kicked in, mixing oils and alcohols - following what his heart dictated. Soon enough, he finally came to a concoction that he wanted.
He placed a few drops on a testing cloth and rushed towards Mei's office.
"Sasuke?" she asked, surprised with his sudden appearance.
Without a word, he went near Mei with a smile on his face. He flipped the cloth before her and waited for her reaction.
"Sasuke... what is that?" she asked as she opened hear hand for the cloth. Sasuke placed it on her waiting hand and watched as she inhaled deeply.
"This smells heavenly... I don't know what's in it, but I want to keep smelling it..." she stated as she inhaled deeper. "I love this..." she said with a big smile.
"That is how Itachi made me feel the first time I met him..." he said.
"Will you sell this?" she asked. The raven shook his head.
"I will give it to Itachi... he will be the only one in the world with this scent." he said.
"You truly have a gift Sasuke... you are e genius at your craft." she praised the raven. She always believed in whatever Sasuke created. She watched him work and create magic in the lab and she knew Sasuke was meant for even greater things.
"What are you going to name it?" she asked as she waved the cloth around, filling the room with the gorgeous smell.
"I haven't thought about that yet..." he grinned. He was actually finished with that he came here for. He created several scents for his line of fragrances and he was able to make a scent for Itachi.
Mei knew that the raven was eager to fly back to Japan. She was amazed at how Sasuke worked non-stop for the past few days and finished all his paperwork smoothly. She knew Sasuke would write down the new ingredients for his new perfumes and let his chemists do the mass production.
"Sasuke, will you be here for the opening of your Autumn collection?" she asked.
Sasuke looked at Mei, thinking for the answer of her query. He knew he had to be here. He needed to approve the details for the show.
But as they have discussed a few days back, he wanted to take a risk and bring his perfumes to Japan. It would be easier to be with Itachi that way. But he needed do a lot of things for that to happen. He had to take things one step at a time.
"Yes, I will be here. Have you already contacted the guests you were eyeing for the show?" Sasuke asked and Mei nodded.
"Yes, they were thrilled to be chosen since both stated to be fans of your scents." Mei added with a smile. Sasuke smiled, he was glad to hear that. Also, he haven't told Mei that while he was in Japan he bought an apartment complex and it was in the process to go on operation when he gets back. He always thought that apartment renting was a real good business.
The cards for business were smiling on him and he wanted to make the most of it. He knew that he had to grab the opportunity while it was there for him.
He felt Itachi was his lucky charm. Everything was going smoothly as planned the moment he and Itachi became a couple.
"So, Sasuke... when do I get to meet him?" Mei asked as she batted her lashes playfully. Sasuke blushed and ran his hand through his hair.
"I will check if I can bring him during the opening of the Autumn collection..." he said and Mei clapped her hands.
"Don't be too excited..." he teased her.
"Oh, I am not..." she laughed out loud.
Sasuke smiled as he waved at her so he can get back to work. He had to write down the ingredients and do a few things in the lab and then buy a ticket to Japan.
Finally, he was going home... and he couldn't wait!

So this was all blahs about work. Sorry if it was a bore. I just had to include this because I like Mei Terumi and I think she is really pretty.
Currently, I just can't think of who will Sasuke's endorsers be... please give me time for that. But if you have any suggestions, please let me know.
