Rose blinked at the Time-Lord's before looking at Thyra, the little girl clutching her mother's hand tightly as she stared up at Rose with wide eyes, mixed with fear and curiousity. Rose wondered how she got her scar. She thought all Time-Lord's could heal injuries, including children so why didn't that occur to Thyra? She glanced back between the other two Time-Lord's, noticing for the first time how much they have changed since the last time she saw them and how much they have suffered just by looking at them in the eyes. "Mates? You've never told me that Time-Lord's had Mates."

"Do we have to discuss this now?" Romana raised a graceful eyebrow at Rose, wondering why Rose has not got her piroritites right. There were Daleks outside with twenty-seven planets all wanting to be used for something and yet, Rose was questioning them about their mating habits? "Honestly, we have a whole army of Daleks awaiting us with the twenty-seven planets crying out for help and you're quesitoning about my suitor and I being Mates?"

"I have a right to know!" Rose snapped, crossing her arms. She did! She had a right to now that Time-Lord had a thing called Mates. What did that mean exactly, she did not know but she supposed Mates was something like marriage to Time-Lord's and Rose now not only wanted to marry Braxiatel, but be his mate if he was willing even if he had made it clear that he had no interest in her but Rose will make him see. She had to. "I have travelled far and wide only to be treated like this."

"With you destroying worlds by using your dimension jump." Braxiatel pointed out to her calmly, making her wince. If nobody else could get to Rose to see the damage she has truly done, then perhaps he could. He couldn't believe the way that Rose was acting especially when his daughter was right near them. "You are breaking down the barriers of the universe, making it easier for the Daleks to attack. Not only that, but you are increasing the risk of destroying your dimension with your family. I've told Pete Tyler to destroy those Dimension Jumps because of the hazards they were causing. And you think you're being treated unfairly? Rose, you've broken our trust and friendship. That is something we can never forgive anyone." He raised his head high, making it clear to Rose of the damage she has done by not only travelling between universes but the damage she has done to Romana when she broke her friendship.

Rose felt her voice get caught up in her throat. She had broken Romana's friendship. She had broken her trust and Rose knew how Romana was never forgiving for those that did break it for she rarely offers sign of friendship. She swallowed thickly before glancing back at their little girl. "Then whose this?"

"Our daughter, Thyra." Romana squeezed Thyra's hand, knowing that Rose needed to be dealt with. She had to face her sooner or later but Romana would rather get rid of the Daleks and Davros first more than anything else. "Our miracle."

Rose stared at the little girl with wide eyes, seeing the resemblance of both her parents within the little girl and Rose pointed an accusing finger at Romana. "You lied to me." Rose bit out angrily and this caused Romana to look at her, bemused. "You told me that all Time-Ladies were sterile! You liar!"

Sarah Jane's arms were thrown over her face and she waited for the blow from the Daleks in front of her car, staring at them with terror. This was it. This was finally the end of her days of saving the world. Death by Daleks. It was ironic since she had seen the birth of them and now she was going to get killed by them and she wished that the Doctor had the chance to destroy them when he had the opportunity. Otherwise he may still be alive today. "Exterminate! Exterminate!" The Daleks cried when suddenly, Mickey Smith and Jackie Tyler appeared in a flash of blue light either side of Sarah Jane's car. They both aimed their large guns at the Daleks, blowing them apart.

Sarah Jane blinked, trying to process what has just happened before she got out of the car shakily to see who it was that saved her life and her eyes widened with relief as she realized who it was. "Mickey...!" She cried excitedly and she and Mickey gave each other a warm hug.

Mickey grinned, glad to see Sarah Jane once more. Oh, it felt so good to see his old friend again despite the situation they were in and for a brief moment, he was incredibly thankful that they had the Dimension Jumps to save her despite the fact he and the rest of Torchwood on their world were doing everything in their power to destroy them from Rose. "Us Smiths have got to stick together."

Jackie shook her hand briefly. "Jackie Tyler, Rose's mum. Now, where the hell is my daughter?"

The Torchwood team were firing incessantly at the Dalek, Gwen was screaming with rage with Owen and Ianto's brows furrowed before Tosh lowered her gun, a look of surprise on her face. Ianto saw her lower her gun and he indicated for the others to stop firing and they watched as Tosh crept towards, their bullets have stopped in mid-air and were just hanging there. Owen, Ianto and Gwen shared looks of amazement and disblief with each other whilst Toshiko merely looked surprised at her handy work. "It's worked." She breathed with excitement, causing Owen to give her a 'What the hell?" expression. He loved Tosh, really he did but sometimes her scientific experiments could be beyond him.

Gwen and Ianto approached them slowly and Gwen reached out with one finger to touch one but found that she couldn't. It was as though there was an invisible barrier blocking her from touching a bullet and the air ripples out from her finger as though there's an invisible wall. Gwen turned to Toshiko, looking bewildered. "What the hell?"

"Lied to you? You think I lied? My kind was sterile in fertility Rose for many centuries. What I have told you was the truth." Romana shook her head in disgust at Rose. Honesttly, how much more childish could Rose get? Did Rose honestly think they would welcome her back with open arms after everything she has done to them at the Battle of Canary Wharf? Romana knew she should forgive and forget but Romana has lived too long and sometimes, sometimes friendship could simply not be repaired. "Besides, we are not here to speak about how my kind reproduce or to deal with your childish behaviour. If that is how you are going to continue to behave that is. We have the Daleks to think about we have the twenty seven planets that all need to be return home."

"You didn't even say goodbye to me!" Rose snapped, angry and hurt. "You left me in an alternative world where I didn't belong!"

"You had your mother and you had your father. Something that you have wanted for a long while. You had Mickey and you lived in a mansion. What more could you possibly want?"

Toshiko looked at the rest of her team as she began to explain what she had done. "It's a Time-Lock." She began to explain, showing what she had done on her computer. "Romana had given me some lessons about it last time she was here. This was how she froze her home planet during the Time War. She told me the basics of it and I decided to try it out." She looked sheepish. "It started out as a hobby but it's the ultimate defence program. I never thought I've completed it, but I did." She looked proud at herself. Pleased at the fact that all her work with Romana has finally paid of. Oh, she couldn't wait to tell Romana about it! She would be so thrilled.

"What does a Time-Lock do though?" Gwen wondered, glancing back at where the bullets were. She may not understand the Science side of the Time-Lock, but she had to understand what was the purpose of it. Why would Romana ever use such a thing on her home planet?

"Well, think of it like a Time-Bubble. We are sealed in. Nothing can get in or out of that Time-Lock." Tosh told her. "Like I said, Romana used this around Gallifrey simply to avoid dangers from escaping and causing havoc to the rest of the universe."

"But that means we can't get out." Ianto pointedly told her and he couldn't help but shudder slightly, wondering what dangers Toshiko meant that Romana had to face so badly, that she put a Time-Lock around her home planet. "We can't get out to Jack."

Toshiko nodded. "Exactly. We can't get out without risking unlocking that Dalek. We're trapped in here. It's all up to Jack and the Time family now."

Braxiatel was about to say something to Romana when the power in the TARDIS suddenly got cut off. Braxiatel stiffened slightly, knowing at once the Daleks have had complete control over the TARDIS and he glanced at Romana. "The Daleks have us. I can see why you stationed all TARDISes to be battle-grounded in the Time-War." He commented, suddenly, there was a great crash and the TARDIS tilted dangerously to one side and Thyra clung onto her mother fearfully.

Sarah Jane, Jackie and Mickey crept up behind the van, watching four Daleks surrounding the TARDIS. "Transferring TARDIS to the Crucible." They watched as the TARDIS was lifted skywards by a circle of blue light, up and away in the direction of the Dalek ship.

Sarah Jane watched until it disappeard and she glanced at Mickey. She had to get up to the Dalek spaceship as much as she hated to admit. She knew in order to find the Time family and to stop the Daleks once and for all, she had to be up there on the main Dalek control ship. No matter how many dangers she may face on the way. "Those teleport things...can we use them? If they've taken the Time family to the Dalek spaceship, then that's where we need to be."

"Time family?" Mickey asked curiously. Didn't she mean Romana and Braxiatel? But why would she call them the Time family when it was only two of them? It didn't make sense.

"Oh! Well, since you've been departed, Romana and Braxiatel have a little girl called Thyra." Sarah told them and Mickey and Jackie beamed in delight. Delighted to hear that the Time-Lord's have a child of their own. "We call them the Time family. Anyway, can we use your teleport thing?"

"Right," Mickey nodded in understanding but he had a feeling that Rose was not going to be pleased if she found out Romana or Braxiatel had a kid before he briefly showed Sarah Jane his Dimension jumper. "It's not a teleport, it's a Dimension Jump. Man, this thing rips a hole in the fabric of space. We got rid of them all but we found out that Rose was using them for her own gain to find Braxiatel." He shook his head before putting it away again. Ever since the Time-Lord's sent Rose to live on the parallel universe, she has becoming more dangerous and obsessive with finding Braxiatel and only Braxiatel, stating that she belonged with him. She became so obsessive that she even blackmailed some reluctant scientists to work with her and this made Pete so angry that he fired her. "Besides, it burns up energy. Needs at least another half an hour between jumps."

"Then put down your guns." Sarah Jane told him and Jackie, knowing she must be mad for saying that.

"What?!" Mickey spluttered, gripping hold of his gun tightly. Did Sarah Jane really just say what he thought she said?

"If you're carrying a gun, they'll shoot you dead." Sarah Jane slowly stepped out from behind the van, hands raised in surrender and she wondered if this is what the Doctor would have wanted. "Daleks? I surrender." She walked towards them, wincing at how she remembered being on skaro and seeing the Daleks being first created. How that was so long ago now and look where they were and how far they've come and not for good either.

The Daleks turned to face her. "All humans in this sector will be taken to the Crucible!"

Mickey shook her head. He still had Romana's sonic screwdriver all those years ago but even he knew that a sonic screwdriver could do litle against the Daleks. He liked Sarah Jane and considered her a good friend but he wasn't willing to get himself easily killed. He would like to at least see the Time-Lord's again and live thank you. "She's bloody mad."

Jackie looked at him. "Yeah, but Mickey-if they've got the Time family, then they've got Rose and we do need to stop her from causing anymore damage." She puts her gun down and raised her hands before walking behind Sarah Jane. "And us. We surrender!"

Mickey sighed reluctantly and kissed his gun before throwing it to the ground, doing the same. Hoping for his sake that he was going to make this out alive.

Martha was quickly adjusting the teleport body pack as she began to talk to her mum. "Now, Jack's explained the base code, I know how this teleport works. I think. But you just stay indoors. There's no Daleks on this street, you should be all right. Just um...keep quiet."

Francine looked at her worriedly. Her daughter was leaving her? Leaving the safety of her home? Why? Francine needed her daughter. She needed her where she knew she could see her. She didn't want them rushing in after the Time family towards danger even if they did save their lives in the Year that Never Was. "Where are you going?!"

"I'm a member of UNIT and they gave me the Osterhagen Key, I've to do my job." Martha told her abruptly and Francine made a move towards her as if to stop her but Martha held out hand to stop her. "I'm sorry."

Francine began to cry, worried for her daughter and for the key that she holds. "Martha...what's an Osterhagen Key? Tell me. What does it do?"

Martha couldn't answer her, knowing her mother would never forgive her if she told her about the key and she looked at her tearfully. "Love you." She pulled down the cords on her body-pack and disappeared without another word before landing in a forest, 60 miles outside Nuremburg.

She gasped, frightened by the sudden change of environment and she glanced around, ducking low as she heard the sound of Daleks not too far away. It was just like travelling around the world in the Year that Never Was Again. She remembered travelling through Nuremburg then and yet, here she was thinking she had seen the last of it all those months ago but this time, it was for an entirely different matter and she wondered briefly if she has become as bad as the Master and she winced. "Exterminieren! Extermineren!" One Dalek cried.

"Halt! Sonst werden wir sie exterminieren! Sie sind jetzt ein Gafangener der Daleks!" A second Dalek shouted out and Martha stood as silent as a statue and peered through the trees as she saw the Daleks gliding ominously though the woods. "Exterminieren! Exterminieren!" Martha ran in the opposite direction, far away from the Daleks as she could.

Jack looked over towards the Time-Lord's, knowing it was his moment to break the icy tension that was hovering around the room. Whilst they still had time, they could at least make up a plan to stop all of this. "There's a massive Dalek ship at the centre of the planets. They're calling it the Crucible. Guess that's our destination."

Donna glanced at Romana, remembering what she had said in the Shadow Proclamation. "But Romana, you said these planets were like an engine. But what for?"

"The Daleks could be using it for anything," Romana looked tired. She was just so tired of fighting the Daleks over and over again. She has lost everything whilst the Daleks gained everything. She just wanted the Daleks to leave her alone but she knew that was impossible for who she was. "Knowing them, they will be looking a new way to destroy all things that are not Dalek."

"We can stop them right, Mummy?" Thyra asked, looking up between her mummy and daddy hopefully. She has never come across the Daleks before but she has seen pictures and has heard many horrible things about these aliens from her parents and about what they had done to Gallifrey and she knew they were terrible creatures that had to be stopped. "We can stop the Daleks?"

Braxiatel squeezed his daughter's hand, knowing she needed reassurance. "We can try." He replied though even he didn't know if they could stop the Daleks this time when they were at the height of their power when the computer suddenly bleeped.

Romana glanced at the monitor. "The Dalek Cruicible. We've arrived." The TARDIS landed with a heavy crash and for a moment there was a pause before the supreme Dalek spoke.

"Lady Romanadvoratrelundar, former President of Gallifrey! You will step forth or die!" The Supreme Dalek shouted from the outside.

Romana rolled her eyes before looking at her crew, knowing that the Daleks will kill her either way if she did not obey. "I'll die either way. But...we'll have to go out otherwise they'll get in."

Rose looked slightly alarmed despite the fact she was still angry with Romana. But right now, Rose knew she had to think about surving the Daleks and in order to do that, she had to stick with the Time-Lord's for now. "You told me nothing could get through those doors."

"You've both got extrapolator shielding." Jack pointed out, remembering the last time he faced the Daleks on Satallite Five. That one had been a disater and he hoped for his and Thyra's sake that the end result will not happen again.

"I'm sorry but the last time we fought the Daleks, they were hybrids and mad. But this is a fully fledged Dalek Empire, fresh from the Time War at the height of it's power. It's one of the many reasons why I ordered all TARDISes to be battle-grounded during the war because the Daleks could do anything to them and to it's pilots inside." Romana told them solemnly and the humans realized the vulnerability of their position, their eyes widen with fear as did Thyra's who whimpered slightly.

Romana turned to Jack. Jack had this vortex manipulator. She knew nowhere was safe at the moment but she could at least send Thyra perhaps to Donna's gramps and mother where she somehow knew she was safe from the Daleks. She had at least a chance of surving there. "Jack, can you get Thyra to safety with your teleport?"

Jack looked at his vortex manipulator and shook his head regretfully. The Daleks have cut all it's power out for now. Blasted Daleks. "No such luck, it went down with the power-loss."

Donna stood apart from them, staring straight ahead and not listening as she stared blankly in the distance. Romana turned to Thyra, crouching near her daughter. "I want you to stay in here." Romana told her softly, despite her knowing it was less safe in here than it was out there but Romana knew that if she made Thyra stay in here, the Daleks wouldn't be able to get hold of her and use her daughter against her or Braxiatel. "The Daleks will use you to hurt me and your father and I don't want that. I want to see you safe. Stay safe for me and keep low as you can. I promise mummy and daddy will come to you soon." She kissed Thyra on the head, closing her eyes as tears cascaded from her eyelids as she held onto Thyra hand before slowly letting go and she wondered if she will ever come back to Thyra again soon with how much the Daleks hated her. Almost as much as they hated the Doctor.

Braxiatel looked at Donna, noticing how she was not interacting as she should do and noticed how her eyes were moist, her mouth open and he looked at her with concern. "Donna?" He asked but no response and he snapped his fingers in front of her face, breaking her trance. "Donna?"

Donna blinked, shaking her head. She felt out of trance all of a sudden. It keeps happening to her briefly but she has no idea why and she wondered if it was because of the pressure she was under at the moment. "Yeah?"

"Are you okay?" Braxiatel asked, concerned. He had noticed how unusually quiet Donna has become since the Daleks have taken them hostage. Had noticed her staring blankly in the distance and he wondered briefly if it was just human emotions making her worked up.

"Yeah, I'm fine." She swallowed, looking at him and Romana. "Are you sure there's nothing we can do?"

"Not at this moment in time." He replied grimly and he offered his hand out to Romana who gave one last embrace to Thyra and she took it before they headed to the door, glancing at her daughter who stood near the Captain's chair, watching them go with watery eyes.

"Surrender, Lady Romanadvoratrelundar, Surrender and face your Dalek masters!" The Supreme Dalek ordered.

"Crucible on maximum alerts!" Another Dalek shouted.

"Daleks!" Rose laughed nervously but Romana merely gave her a pointed glare and she became quiet.

Romana and Braxiatel glanced at one another, both standing tall and proud. "For Gallifrey, my lord?" She asked, her spare hand resting on the door of the TARDIS.

"Gallifrey forever." Braxiatel replied and he took a deepbreath and the Time-Lord's walked out arm in arm with Rose and Jack following them with Donna trailing behind, Thyra staring after the adults with wide eyes and she whimpered fearfully for her parents, clutching at the Captain's Chair tightly.

They all stepped out of the TARDIS to be greeted by the Dalek battle fleet. "Daleks reign supreme! All hail the Daleks!"

Donna walked slowly to the door before she paused, glancing at Thyra and she bit her lip as she noticed how scared the young girl was at being left on her own in a defenceless TARDIS and she heard the Daleks battle cries from outside. She wanted to go outside with the Time-Lord's and Rose but yet, at the same time she wanted to stick by with Thyra. She wanted to protect her neice from these monsters that have ruined her parents lives. But Romana and Braxiatel needed her but Thyra needed her also and Donna felt torn, unsure if she should follow the adult Time-Lord's or stay with Thyra.

"Daleks reign supreme! All hail the Daleks! Daleks reign supreme! All hail the Daleks!" Romana, Braxiatel, Rose and Jack look about themselves at the enormous ship, the air thick with Dalens, all chanting their cries. "Daleks reign supreme! All hail the Daleks!"

Romana glowered at them darkly, letting go of Braxiatel's hand as she made her presence known. It was just like the Time-War all over again and Romana let out a shaky breath, standing tall and pompous and having an air of authoirty around her as did Braxiatel who suddenly turned to his Ice man structuer. "Behind, Lady Romana! Behold the might of the true Dalek Race!" The Supreme Dalek shouted.

"Auntie Donna, I'm scared." Thyra whimpered and she ran to her Auntie Donna, clutching her leg and Donna held her back just as tightly, despite her knowing she should be out there with the Time-Lord's but Donna knew this was where she needed to be. She needed to be with Thyra and be the Auntie to her that she was meant to be.

Romana was about to say something but suddenly, the TARDIS doors slam shut and Romana turned and dashed back towards the TARDIS quickly, trying to get in but couldn't and she heard Donna and Thyra banging on the other side.

"Mummy?" Thyra cried with fear, banging on the door and Romana tried to get in but screamed with frustration as she couldn't, Braxiatel helping her but he too but found that they could both not get in. But they had to! Thyra and Donna were in there! "Daddy?!"

"What have you done?" Donna screamed from the inside with Thyra, banging on the TARDIS doors as loudly as she could.

"We didn't do anything!" Romana panicked, feeling her daughter's fear course through her. What was going on? Who was controlling the TARDIS like this? Was it the TARDIS or was it the Daleks? "I swear, we didn't do anything!"

"Oi! We're not staying behind!" Donna shouted.

Braxiatel turned to the Supreme Dalek, one hand on Romana's shoulders protectively as he felt his daughter in serious danger. "What have you done?"

"This is not of Dalek origin!" Dalek Supreme shouted.

"Mummy, daddy!" Thyra banged on the door, crying out for help. "Please! I'm scared!" She whimpered. "Let me out mummy! Please let me out." Rose winced slightly, remembering how similar Thyra's pleas sounded to the Empty Child.

Romana turned around angrily towards the Daleks, tears streaming down her face and she turned to the Daleks pleadingly despite the fact she knew Daleks had no mercy. But she knew she had to try. She had to save her daughter. She had to. It was every mother's duty and Romana could not fail that duty. "Please! Please stop this! You can hurt me! You can do whatever you want to me but my friend and daughter are in there! She's just a child! I'm the one you want! I'm the one you want to hurt! Just don't hurt my baby. Not my baby." Jack watched her with pity as Romana made to move forwards to hit the Supreme Dalek but Braxiatel held her back, trembling with anger and hatred for the Daleks and Romana trembled within his hold, sobbing.

"This is Time-Lord treachery! And the Doctor's ship!" The Supreme Dalek replied.

"At least let me save Donna and my daughter!" Romana cried, gesturing helplessly towards the TARDIS. Why wouldn't they let her get to her baby? Why wouldn't they let her save her? She was just a child! She couldn't be used for or against the Daleks. "Please! I beg of you!"

"Nevertheless: the TARDIS is a weapon and it will be destroyed." They all turned to watch, horrified as the TARDIS falls through a trapdoor that opened up underneath it.

Romana watched, horrified and she crumbled to the floor, whimpering and Braxiatel crouched near her, both hearing Thyra scream within their minds and they screamed with her.

Donna clutched onto Thyra's hand tightly, both stumbling about as they both screamed as they felt the TARDIS gathering speed. Thyra cluthced to the consoles as tightly as she could whilst Donna hung onto the railings for support. She looked at Thyra worriedly, wondering what was going to happen to them now despite the TARDIS being completely out of control. "Thyra! Hold on!"

"Where are you taking the TARDIS?" Braxiatel demanded. If they couldn't get their TARDIS back or daughter, they had a right to know. They had a right to know what was going to happen to them even if it wasn't good news. There was never any good news when it concerned Daleks. He had learnt that long ago. "Where is it going? We have a right to know!"

"The Cruicible has a heart of Z-Neutrino Energy. The TARDIS will be deposited into the core." The Dalek Supreme replied.

"And you've taken the defences down?!" Braxiatel's voice rose with anger, the fury of a Time-Lord seeping through despite him trying so hard to conceal his rage. But he couldn't. He couldn't conceal his anger and hatred towards the Daleks after everything they have done to him. "It'll be torn apart with our friend and our daughter inside!"

The lights around the console smash and Thyra and Donna screamed as small fires spring up around the grilling. Donna was crouched down by the console, emitting small fires as she shielded Thyra with her body and herself from the small explosions away from the sparks and fires that were flying all around them. She will protect Thyra, no matter what even if that meant putting herself at risk.

Jack advanced on the Supreme Dalek angrily, gesturing towards the trapdoor. "There is a child in there!" He shouted angrily. They were going to kill Thyra and Donna? They were going to murder them right in front of their eyes whilst they stood and watched helplessly. The Daleks were nothing but monsters and at this point in time, he could understand the Time-Lord's hatred for them. "A young child! At least give some consideration over the last child of Gallifrey!"

"The female, the descendant of Gallifrey and the TARDIS will perish together! Observe." The supreme Dalek showed a holographic screen appeared above them and they turned to look at it. Romana slowly stood and approached the screen and she held Braxiatel's hand tightly, needing comfort as they both watched it with dread as they see the TARDIS bobbing in energy.

Romana and Braxiatel watched the TARDIS. They could feel it and Thyra dying and it killed them for they were connected to them. Though Braxiatel knew it pained Romana more since she was the true pilot of the TARDIS and could feel the machine AND Thyra dying and he knew it was killing her inside. It killed him too, to see the last remains of home being destroyed right in front of their eyes. "The last guardians of Gallifrey are powerless."

It was absolute chaos in the TARDIS. Sparks and glass were flying everywhere and the smoke began to choke Donna for her lungs were not used to it. Thyra struggled to the TARDIS console, screaming mentally and physically before she gritted her teeth and pressed a button on the console, remembering what her parents have taught her about flying the TARDIS.

Romana turned to the Dalek Supreme. She has never begged to the Daleks before and thought she never would but this time she had to beg. She had to beg for the safety of her daughter. "Please, I'm begging you." She looked from the Dalek to the screen in helpless agitation, feeling her daughter scream in her mind before gesturing at herself. "Put me in my daughter's place! You want to hurt me. You want your revenge upon me, I understand. But please just don't hurt my baby!" But the Daleks didn't do anything and Romana watched with horror, breathing heavily and trembling and Braxiatel embraced her, as he too trembled with anger and glanced at the screen, breaking into a sweat and a deep angry growl erupted from his throat-both feeling Thyra and the TARDIS dying.

"You are connected to the Doctor's TARDIS now Lady Romana! Now feel it and your child die!" The supreme Dalek cried almost gleefully and Romana whimpered. It was true, when a pilot was connected to a TARDIS, they could feel a mental link and when either a Time-Lord or TARDIS was dying, the other would be able to feel it. Right now, Romana could feel both the TARDIS and Thyra dying inside and it was killing her and she felt both her hearts rip to shreds.

"Total TARDIS destruction in ten rels!" The Dalek announced. Braxiatel nuzzled Romana's hair softly, both whimpering for their TARDIS and Thyra. "Nine! Eight! Seven! Six! Fivre! Four! Three! Two! One!" They watched the TARDIS faded away and the Supreme Dalek turned to them. "The TARDIS has been destroyed as has your descendant! Now tell me, Romana...what do you feel?"

Romana watched the screen still. She could still feel the TARDIS. She could still feel Thyra. They were alive! They were still alive! She wanted to laugh gleefully at the Daleks. She wanted to show them that her daughter and the TARDIS has escaped from their clutches and she looked at Braxiatel in the eye, a dark expression clouding his face but she knew that he too could still feel Thyra. "She's alive." Romana breathed hopefully mentally. They had hope! Had the TARDIS really protected Thyra or did Thyra manage to take control? "They're all alive." She held his hand tightly, not wanting to let go.

"Anger? Sorrow? Despair?" The Dalek Supreme continued, not noticing the interaction.

Romana glared at the Daleks hatefully. "You want the truth? Yes. I feel all of those emotions. The only emotions that you may only understand." She told them angrily, feeling true rage within her that she hasn't felt since the Master killed all her children.

"Then, if emotions are so important, surely we have enhanced you and your mate." The supreme Dalek continued.

Jack turned around angrily. "Yeah? Feel this!" He shot the Supreme Dalek and the bullets bounce off ineffectually. He knew that would happen but he had a plan to get them all out of the Dalek's control. Sometimes, his immortality did come in handy.

"Exterminate!" The supreme Dalek sent a death-ray at Jack and he screamed in pain and fell to the floor, dead once more.

Rose gasped, startled by Jack's sudden death. Whilst her friendship with the man has gone astray and she did not get along with him as she should have done now, it pained her to see such a handsome man go to waste so quickly. "Jack!"

"Leave him Rose." Braxiatel told her warningly, knowing it was all her fault for bringing him immortality but he knew that Jack had somewhat a plan in his mind and Braxiatel wondered what he was up to this time. "Leave him." Rose looked at him questioningly as Braxiatel was still holding Romana who was still trembling slightly despite the fact that Thyra and the TARDIS were both still alive.

"Escort them to the Vault!" The Supreme Dalek ordered. "They are the playthings of Davros, now." A Dalek lead them from the room and Braxiatel put his arms around Romana. Romana glanced back at Jack who gave her a wink before quickly playing dead again.

"How did you do that?" Donna asked Thyra now the TARDIS was all calm and fixed. The fires were gone, the glass in the TARDIS replaced and the TARDIS was now calmly flying steadily in space. She pulled herself up from the ground, glad that the TARDIS had stopped trying to kill them both. "Are we safe?"

Thyra nodded slowly. Even she didn't know how safe she was at the moment. "I just did what my daddy taught me in case of an emergency. The TARDIS is fine now and I sent a telepathic message to mum and dad. I think...I think we're fine for now if the TARDIS just stays silent." She gave her Auntie a weak smile, trying to stay brave like the pirates she reads about. "Like silent running, like on a sumbarine."

"Right." Donna replied unsurely and she sighed, rubbing her head as she kept hearing a heartbeat. "Thyra, I keep hearing a strange heartbeat in my head. Like...Like sometimes I would go out of trance and I will hear the noise. Do you know why?"

Thyra looked thoughtful for a few minutes, glancing between her and her father's hand and back at Donna before looking back again as ideas ran through her mind. "I think...I think I may know why." Thyra began, looking at Donna with wide eyes. "My daddy's hand is calling out for a metacrisis."

"A what?"

"Metacrissis. It's where someone will create a half-human/half-time-lord hybrid. Though it's never been done before-it's mainly just a theory. If you had touched my father's hand, you would have an exact copy of my daddy-only in human form. For some reason, you are the one that is meant to create that metacriss." Thyra picked up her hat that had fallen a few feet away from them and put it back on her head. "Imagine two of my daddy's around the place. Mummy would go mad!" She giggled at the image.

"But why me? Why did your father's hand-" Donna glanced at Braxiatel's hand somewhat anxiously. "Chose me?"

"Because you're special." Thyra grinned at her.

"Oh, I keep telling you; I'm not." Donna replied exasperated. She has told them time and time again that she was nothing special and she wasn't! She was just an ordinary human temp who couldn't even keep a decent job. She couldn't even change a plug for crying out loud.

"You are though Auntie Donna." Thyra pointed out to her, walking back over to her and her smile dropped as she saw that Donna didn't believe it. "You really don't believe it do you?" Donna shook her head. "You are my favourite Auntie ever! You make my mummy and daddy laugh and not a lot of people can do that." She scratched her head thoughtfully. "It's strange really."

Donna smiled at Thyra's antics slightly. She was so like her mother sometimes even if she didn't realize it. "What is?"

"That we were always heading for this. You came into the TARDIS on your wedding day. Then you found us with the Adipose incident. Then your grandad. And your car!" Thyra pointed at her excitdly, realization dawning on her. "You parked your car right where the TARDIS was gonna land. I don't think that's a coincidence. Something has been drawing us together for such a long time!"

"But...but you're talking like...destiny. But there's no such thing...is there?" Donna asked breathlessly. Was that what Thyra was implying? That her time with the Time family was meant to be be destiny and that they were destined to be together?

"I don't know, I don't believe in that. Mummy thinks destiny and fate are a load of nonsense." Thyra replied, shrugging. "But isn't that what you humans believe in?" Donna blinked, realizing that Thyra may be right.

Martha emerged from the woods to be greeted by an elderly woman wo came to meet her at the steps of the castle. The woman held her torch, looking at her uneasily. "Hier ist niemand. Was immer sie wollen, gehen sie fort! Lassen sie mich in Rhue."

"Ich Heisse Martha Jones. Ich komme von UNIT. Agentin fuenf sechs sechs sieben eins von der medizinischen Abteilung." Martha replied. One good thing that came out of the Year that Never was when she was travelling was not only Thyra, but Martha had learnt and studied all the languages across the world and knew how to speak decent conversations with each country, one of the many reasons why UNIT hired her in the first place.

"Es hiess sie kaemen vorbei. The accent...that is Londom, ja? I went to London, long time ago."

Martha nodded before noticing how their was little protection on this castle. No doubt the soldiers were all called off to protect the locals nearby or their families. No doubt the Daleks had easily killed them all if what Jack had said was true about them attacking military bases. "I thought this place was supposed to be guarded."

"There were soldiers. Boys. I brought them food, every day. But when der albtraum came from the sky, they went home. To die. But not you." The woman glanced at her.

"I've got a job to do." Martha told her sternly and she went up to the castle steps and into the castle. The castle inside was dark and Martha looked around before making straight for the curtain at the other side of the room. She pulled it off, revealing a hand-recognition lock and she entered a code and placed her hand to it. It was a job she had to do but that didn't mean Martha liked or wanted to do it.

The woman approached her slowly. "London. In those days, to see it. So much glamour. I was so young." She paused. "I heard the soldiers talking, many times. They would speak of the Osterhagen Key. I think London must be changed now, yes? But still, the glamour..." Martha opened the door activated by the hand-lock but she stopped when she heard the sound of a click coming behind her and she turned to see the german woman pointing the gun at her. "You will not go." She said determinedly.

Martha looked at the gun. Truth be told, she was more terrified with what she had to do rather than the weapon in front of her. She has seen so many guns in her lifetime now that she was hardly afraid of them anymore and Martha briefly wondered if this was how Romana felt. Back when she started training at Royal Hope Hospital, Martha knew she would have been absolutley terriified of being held at gun point and look at her now, not even the slightest trace of fear of the weapon being pointed at her. No. Martha was more afraid of what she was about to do and she couldn't honestly blame the german woman. "I've got no choice."

"I know the key." The woman trembled before lowering her voice to a whisper, close to tears. "What it does. Sie sind der albtraum. Nicht die andersen, sie. Ich sollte sie umbringen, am besten gleich jetzt!"

Martha nodded gravely. "Then do it."

The woman trembled before faltering. She couldn't kill this woman in front of her even if she did hold the most horrible device that she has known and she watched Martha step into the lift. "Martha...zur Hoelle mit dir!"

Martha closed the door, closing her eyes. Yes, she really did deserve to go to hell for this. "I know." She whispered, knowing the woman on the otherside wouldn't be able to hear her and the steel door opened from the top and bottom. Martha entered and closed the door behind her before she noticed she was in a small dark room full of control panels and flashing lights. She sat in front of the terminal, the Osterhagen Key in her hand and she prayed that one day Thyra would forgive her and she swallowed, pressing a key on the terminal. "This is Osterhagen Station One. My name is Martha Jones. Is there anyone there? Over."

The prisoners including Sarah Jane, Mickey and Jackie were being herded along, hands behind there heads. "Prisoners now onboard the Cruicible. They will be taken for testing!"

Sarah Jane glanced anxiously at Mickey and Jackie. "One step closer to the Time family." The three of them cast furtive looks, trying to spot any sign of the Time-Lord's. Where could they be?

"Activate the holding cells." Davros demanded and three holding cells in what appeared to be like spotlights over Romana, Braxiatel and Rose who have been placed standing a few feet from one another.

Davros rolled between Romana and Braxiatel, almost looking gleefully at them. "Excellent. Even when powerless, a Time-Lady and her Mate is best contained." At last! He had the former President of Gallifrey captured within his grasps with her Mate who was none other than the Oncoming Storm brother! At last he would witness the true destruction of the Time-Lord's and then they would have complete control of space and time itself!

Romana scoffed. "It appears to me Davros, you're almost afraid of us Time-Lord's." She touched the edge of the holding cell with the palm of her hands, knowing she could not get through it and it rippled with blue energy. She glanced at Braxiatel, knowing there was little chance of escape but the positive thing was that the Daleks were still afraid of them. So afraid that she and Braxiatel had to be contained and Romana knew she could use that to her advantage. "Still scared?"

"It is a long time we talked, former President of Gallifrey, after so very long-"

Romana grew impatient with him. "Enough of your small talk Davros! I've had plenty of that when I was your prisoner for twenty years and when I was acting President. So you have no right at all to treat me like a mere child." She glanced at him before she gave him a smirk, realization dawning on her. This whole room was a vault. Davros was just as much as a prisoner as they were! The Daleks still didn't trust him simply for the fact he wasn't considered 'pure'. She knew that much. "You are as much as a prisoner as we are in here. They have you locked away down here in the basement, in the dark. And acting as what? Servant? Slave? Or their court jester?"Romana sneered and Braxiatel smirked at Davros, realizing that the creator of the Daleks was nothing more than a puppet. "Or perhaps all three?"

Davros looked agitated and quickly interrupted her. "We have...an arrangement."

Romana laughed mockingly. She would dare to openly mock the Daleks. She had a right to after everything they have done. They nearly murdered her daughter and that was something she was not going to easily forget. "Oh please! That's a lie and you know it. You are the Daleks pet because you're not pure Dalek!"

Davros moved away from her and moved to Braxiatel. "She's so full of fire, is she not? And yet, you're so full of ice. Ice and fire; two complete opposites yet combined together for you cannot have one without the other."

Braxiatel narrowed his eyes at Davros. It was known that he was often referreed to as the Icicle man for that he was in most respects. It was ironic to think his brother was the Oncoming Storm and yet he was known for being the Ice Man. "Very observant for a Dalek. Why are we here? What is our purpose for you wanting to keep us alive?" Rose glanced at him, not saying a word for she was too fearful.

"You must be here. It was foretold. Even the Supreme Dalek would not dare to contradict the propheies of Dalek Caan." Davros pressed a button on his control panel, throwing light onto Dalek Caan on his platform and they all turned to look at the crazed Dalek.

"So cold and dark. The Storm is coming...endless storms within the fire!" Dalek Caan said in a sing-song voice.

Rose looked disgusted. Dalek Caan had gone mad! Not only that, but weren't there meant to be three other members of the Cult of Skaro? She remembered Dalek Sec so where was he? "What is that thing?"

"You've met before at the Battle of Canary Wharf. The last of the Cult of Skaro." Romana replied coldly. Dalek Caan had gone insane. Though she knew going through back to the Time-War unprotected would make anyone go mad, even a Dalek. "It's gone insane because it flew into the Time-War, unprotected. That's enough to make anything go mad."

"Caan did more than that. He saw Time. It's infinite complexity and majesty raging through his mind. And...he saw you. He saw you both and her." Davros commented and Romana and Braxiatel glanced at each other. It was true. Dalek Caan had foreseen the last of the Time-Lord's here and had foretold them that their darkest moments would be revealed and Davros wanted that. He so much wanted to see the anger and hatred coming from these two Time-Lord's. So much he almost desired it.

"This I have foreseen in the wild and the wind. Lady Romana will be here as witness with her Mate at the end of everything. Lady Romana and her precious Children of Time!" Dalek Caan giggled madly. "And one of them must reveal their darker side!"

Romana was barely able to contain her rage. One of them must reveal their darker side? Did that mean her or Braxiatel or Thyra? Dalek Caan had planned this all along. He had played them like puppets through Time and Space leading up to this moment and Romana had quite enough of them. Oh, why couldn't the Daleks just die? "You're behind this! You are the one that wanted to destroy my life! Why did the TARDIS door close upon my daughter who needed her mother? I demand you to tell me!"

Davros looked delighted at Romana's anger. "Oh, that's it! The end, the fire. I have seen many Time-Lord's wrath and hatred but not the anger from a Time-Lady! The rage of a Time-lady who butchered millions. There she is. Why so shy? Show your Mate and your...friend...show them your true self." Romana didn't reply, her anger burning through her eyes as Davros peered at her, Braxiatel staring at her calmly for he has witnessed Romana's anger far too many times during political council meetings and when Madame Imperatrix nearly took control of her. "Dalek Caan has promised me that, too."

"I have seen it! At the time of ending, Lady Romana's and Lord Braxiatel's soul will be revealed." Dalek Caan cried with delight.

Braxiatel head snapped in the direction of Dalek Caan. "What else has he promised you Davros? What are your intentions mmm?"

Davros glanced at him. "We will discover it together...our final journey. Because the ending approaching. The testing begins." He turned away.

"What are you testing this time Davros?" Romana gritted through her teeth bitterly. "When I was your prisoner for the worst twenty years of my life, you were experimenting. And today you are doing some more experiments. Always experimenting with your cruel ways. What are you doing now? What more horrors could you possibly create?"

Davros turned back to look at her in the eyes. "The Reality Bomb."

The prisoners were herded into the large testing chamber of metal and stone, Daleks surrounding them and making it impossible to escape. "Prisoners will stand in the designated area. Move! Move!" As Sarah Jane glanced around, she saw the chamber full of Daleks in the air as well as on the ground and the woman near Jackie fell to her knees, in pain and Jackie moved to help her.

The Dalek rouned up on the fallen woman. "You will stand!"

The woman looked up at the Daleks, terrified. "I can't."

"You will stand!"

Sarah Jane glanced around on the floor and she noticed a door inset with a small round window not too far away and she quickly made a dash for it, grabbing her sonic lipstick.

"I can't. Please..." The woman pleaded.

"On your feet! On your feet!" Mickey watched Sarah Jane anxiously as she opened the door with her sonic lipstick, knowing that Sarah Jane had a way of escaping. Even by watching her run to the door, Mickey could tell she has met and escaped the Daleks already and he briefly wondered if it was when she was travelling with Braxiatel's brother, the Doctor that had gained her the experience to do so.

Sarah Jane looked at him and called him as loudly as she dared to, gesturing for him to run over to her as she opened the door. She has found somewhere where they could stay safe and low for now. For how long, she didn't know but it was enough for them to give them time to try and find the Time family and make up a plan. "Mickey! Mickey!"

Mickey quickly caught Jackie's eye. "Jackie!" He whispered urgently before he quickly followed Sarah through the door which lead them into a small side chamber and Jackie looked at them worriedly for she could not follow them without going unnoticed.

Mickey and Sarah Jane watched through the side chamber window worriedly. Jackie was trapped there and there was nothing they could do! She had to get out of there. Mickey didn't want to return to the alternaive world and having to explain to Peter and Tony that Jackie was dead. Died by the hands of Daleks and Mickey winced at the image, knowing Rose too may be somewhat upset about it even if she has grown cold and distant over the last few years.

"Prisoners will stand in the designated area!" The Dalek ordered.

"We can't just leave her." Mickey told Sarah Jane shakily and he made to open the door but Sarah Jane spotted a Dalek coming and she quickly stopped him.

"Wait!" She hissed as they watched the Dalek glide past. She knew the slightest movement from them could only mean Extermination from the Daleks. She knew that long ago.

"Preparing for testing of the reality bomb!" The Dalek announced.

The scared woman who Jackie had helped before look at Jackie frantically. "What does it mean? What are they testing? What are they going to do?"

Jackie looked upwards at a large, circular green device which was high above her heads and she swallowed thickly. Since working with Torchwood on her new world with Pete, she has learnt a lot over the few years and she knew that whatever the Daleks were planning, couldn't be any good especially with what happened last time. "I reckon it's that thing there."

"Testing calibration of Reality Bomb. Firing in ren rels-nine, eight, seven..." The Supreme Dalek began to count down through the comm.

"Behold...the apotheosis of my genius." Davros cried gleefully and he used his control panel to activate a holographic screen displaying the testing chamber to the Time-Lord's.

"...two, one, zero. Activate planetary alignment field!"

Braxiatel watched the monitor, horrified by what he was seeing. Romana turned to Davros, looking at him desperately. He knew that once the Daleks went forth with their plan, they will see to it until it has been completed but Braxiatel had to try and change their mind. He had to make them see that their weapon could not be used! "Davros, think about this. You have Z-Neutrino Energy there! Flattened by the allignment of the planets into a single stream. You've done enough damage to the Universe, you have to stop!"

Suddenly, the entire TARDIS began to shudder and as Thyra felt the TARDIS steady its self, Thyra looked at the monitor with confusion. "The whole twenty-seven planets." She breathed as she and Donna watched with wide eyes and Thyra scratched her head thoughtfully, trying to work it out.

"But what's happening?" Donna asked, not understanding what was going on.

"My mummy taught me about Z-Neutrinos energy briefly..." Thyra began, trying to remember what her mother has taught her about the Z-Neutrinons energy which wasn't much for she was meant to learn it when she was in her sixties but her mother gave her a brief over view of it and she knew it could be dangerous when it was weilded in the wrong hands. "Single-stream Z-Neutrinos being compressed into..." Her voice began to falter as she realized what was going to happen. "Oh no." She looked at the screen with fear, knowing there was nothing she could do as they watch the glow emanating from the planets.

Sarah Jane and Mickey watch the proceedings in the testing chamber through the small window as the pirsoners who still had their hands behind their heads look up with horror as the Reality Bomb above them brightenes.

Sarah Jane watched, breathing heavily with fear whilst Mickey paced up and down with fear before he heard a bleep coming from his dimension jump and he paused, his eyes widening before he quickly dug out the Dimension Jump. "Thirty minutes...it's recharged!" He ran to the window, mouthing at Jackie and gesturing frantically to the Dimension Jump and Jackie saw Mickey, looking at him with wide eyes. They had hope! They had a chance to save Jackie and Mickey wanted to use that chance! "It's recharged! It's regcharged! Use it!" Mickey told her desperately, wondering if she could even hear him.

Jackie took out her Dimension from her pocket and looked at the woman next to her sorrowfully, knowing she was going to meet her fate. "I'm so sorry." She whispered truthfully and she pressed the button and disappeared, much to the surprise of the woman.

Mickey rushed towards Jackie once she landed beside him and embraced her tightly before they watched with Sarah Jane in revulsion as the prisoners before them were dissolved into atoms from head to toe. It was the least they could do to pay their respects to those that have lost their lives today in the hands of the Daleks.

"Test completed." A Dalek told them.

Donna looked at Thyra, noticing how quiet she had become as she watched the screen and Donna laid a gentle hand upon her shoulder, making Thyra blinked away her tears and she glanced at her with wide eyes. "What is it? Thyra? What did it do?"

Thyra's lips began to tremble and she hugged Donna's leg tightly, too upset to speak.

Rose was completely shaken by what she had just seen and she glanced at Braxiatel. She needed comfort. She needed suport by what she had just witnessed and the only support that could only be offered to her right now was Braxiatel for he should know how she felt even if she didn't understand why the Daleks did what they did. "Braxiatel, what happened?"

Davros glanced at her. "Electircal energy, Miss Tyler." Braxiatel looked at Romana as she began to breath heavily and Romana caught his eyes, both feeling pure hatred for the Daleks. The hatred from the Time-War for the creatures rushing straight back to them. "Every atom in existence is bound by an electrical field. The Reality Bomb cancels it out. Structure falls apart that and your Dimension Jump did make things very easy for us. That test was focused on the prisoenrs alone. Full transmision will dissolve every form of matter."

Rose swallowed thickly, realizing the damage she had truly caused. She had her part in this. She had let the Daleks do the worst part without her realizing. "The stars are going out..." She whispered, barely able to gain composer of what she has truly done. What had she done? No wonder why Braxiatel and Romana were so cold towards her when she finally found them and she finally understood the damage to other worlds she has caused and she looked away regretably.

Romana glared at her despitefully. "And you've made things worse with your Dimension Jump Rose Tyler. I've warned you not to use it again and you disobeyed me. Now all these twenty-seven planets are going to act as one vast transmitter."

"Across the entire universe. Never stopping. Never faltering. Never fading. People and planets and stars will become dust. And the dust will become atoms and the atoms will become...nothing. And the wavelength will continue, breaking through the Rift at the heart of the Medusa Cascade into every dimension, every parallel, every single corner of creation." Davros voice began to take an almost hysterical qulity and he raised his thin, stringy fingers up in delight at Romana, almost gleefully. "This is my ultimate victory, Time-Lord's! The destruction of reality itself!"
