Chapter 36 Old Man Liam [Saving Kingdoms Extra: Old Man Liam?]
Ben's POV
One Hour Later
We arrived back at The Fox Fighter's hangout.
"There you guys are", Mal said happily.
She then noticed the old man...and said this.
"Old Man Liam."
"You know him", Archer asked.
"He's from the Isle", Mal revealed.
"He said he was just a petty thief", Archer revealed. "Is that true?"
"Yeah", Mal replied before looking at me. "I honestly think your dad was about to harsh on some of the people he sent to the Isle."
"I agree", I stated.
"Please", Archer stated. "You just agree with her because she's your girlfriend." [Saving Kingdoms Extra: Oh no he didn't!]
"That isn't true Archer", I stated.
"Sure", Archer said sarcastically. [Saving Kingdoms Extra: Oh no he didn't again!]
"Whatever", I stated. "Guys, Archer attacked this man and he was unarmed."
"Not true", Archer lied. "I found a knife in his pocket."
Before I could say anything...Archer pulled something out of the old man's pocket.
And...it was a knife! [Saving Kingdoms Extra: (does spit take) What?!]
"What", I said in shock.
"That isn't mine", the old man stated.
"Yeah right", Archer said.
He was about to strike the man...but I stopped him before he could do it.
"What are you doing", Archer asked.
"Look", I started. "Even if this man was going to harm me, using violence as well is not going to solve anything!"
"That what do you suggest we do", Archer asked.
"Take away the weapon and send him back to the Isle."
"Yes please", the old man said. "I'm probably safer there than I am here."
With that Archer growled at the old man causing him to hide behind me in fear.
"Mal", I started. "Can you make a portal to the Isle of the Lost?"
"Sure thing", Mal replied before getting out her spell book. "Instead of having to walk many a mile, make a portal back to the Isle!"
With that a portal made of dark green energy appeared.
"Thank you for sparing me King Ben", the old man thanked.
"You're welcome", I replied.
With that the old man walked through the portal and it disappeared.
Archer then looked at me with crossed arms.
"You're too nice", he stated. "You know that right?"
"Archer", I started. "I am king, and I will make the decisions on how villains are punished."
"All I'm saying is that we're in a war", Archer said. "We're never gonna win if you're too nice."
