A-Plus Cassiopeia: What, you're gonna miss the conclusion? Nah, you stay right here.

The Nightmare Scrappies converged upon the Sugar Rush Kingdom, spreading chaos in their wake. They upturned the stands, smashed up the karts, and grabbed at the fleeing Candy Fans.

The Nightmare Scrappies in particular had a sweet tooth for the dozens of Candy Fans in the area. They had already had their fill of the relatively delicious Horror Fans from Horror Rush, now they wanted to see how the Sugar Rush fans tasted like.

Moving like steroid-induced gummy bears, the Nightmare Scrappies hopped around the kingdom, snatching up Candy Fans to eat. Most of them simply shoved a fan in their mouth or bit off chunks of their sugary flesh. However, some other Nightmare Scrappies found more unique faces to eat. Dora Fries, the Nightmare Adorabella, used her wintery breath to freeze Candy Fans into ice cubes, and the other Nightmare Scrappies licked them like lollipops.

Candela Apples, the Nightmare Candella, smashed a candy fan into two, allowing sugar to pour out of its wounds. The Nightmare Scrappies ran towards it and devoured the sugar like wolves. Chocolaty Drizzle, the Nightmare Chocoletta, practically used the candy fans as darts, throwing them at the wall and causing them to smash into pieces, allowing sugar to pour out and let the Nightmare Scrappies devour it.

"This isn't right!" One of Taffyta's candy fans shouted, seconds before Twitchy blasted him and several other candy fans with a volt of lightning, causing them to explode and shower the Nightmare Scrappies in sugar.

Locoer Lihue, the Nightmare Licorice, snatched up candy fans and stuffed them into an oversized bag. The other Nightmare Scrappies joined in, throwing screaming candy fans into the bag until it was stuffed. Then, Locoer set the bag down and allowed Candela to drive over the bag in Taffyta's stolen kart. Then, Locoer opened the bag to reveal hundreds of broken candy fan pieces, and the Nightmare Scrappies began to pick out pieces to nibble on.

In the midst of the chaos, the Sugar Rush Racers and the Nightmare Racers took off towards the castle, pursued by a detachment of the Nightmare Scrappies. Ralph smashed his way through any Nightmare Scrappies that blocked their path, allowing them to make it to the castle gates. Ralph ushered the racers inside and the Core 4 inside, then he shut the door, blocking the Nightmare Scrappies from entering.

Vanellope locked the door and then slid down onto the ground, her heart beat rapidly increasing from the adrenaline.

"What are those Nightmare Scrappies doing in Sugar Rush?" She asked the Nightmare Racers.

"Holy mod, they've probably taken over Horror Rush, too!" Kendall shouted. "Who knows what they've done to Penelope and the rest."

The Nightmare Racers began to let out panicked screams and shouts at the prospect of losing their home and their leader.

Peterbelly stood up and glared at them. "What, what are you so panicked about?" He asked them. "You go here to plan a full-scale invasion, and you also planned to dethrone Penelope, and NOW you're worried about her wellbeing? Mod, you guys are wishy-washy."

"Tabitha sweet talked us into it," Kendall claimed, pointing an accusing finger at a bewildered Tabitha, who stared at Kendall in disbelief.

"You sour candy apple," She said, grimacing.

Vanellope stood between the Sugar Rush Racers and Nightmare Racers. "Hey, we can't just start pointing fingers," She said. "We have to find a way to stop those Nightmare Racers." She paused for a bit, then added, "And save Horror Rush."

"Say what?!" All of the Sugar Rush Racers shouted simultaneously.

"You want us to save them?!" Snowanna asked, bewildered. "I say we throw them out to the Nightmare Scrappies!"

"They tried to destroy our home," Rancis reminded. "What do we owe them after that?"

"I know they're a bunch of jerks, but we can't just abandon them to die," Vanellope said. Turning towards Ralph, she said, "Stinkbrain, I want you, Fix-It, and the Sarge to go to Horror Rush and bust out all of the captives. We'll do the rest here."

"What?" Ralph asked. "You think I'm just going to leave you, especially after what just happened out there? It's a slaughter out there. I can't leave you."

"Ralph, I know what I'm doing," Vanellope said, placing her hand on Ralph's finger. "Trust me."

Ralph stared at her sorrowfully, unwilling to abandon her, but at the same time wanting to trust her. He realized, from the determined look in her eyes, that she wasn't just a kid. She was also the president of Sugar Rush.

"Okay, kid, we'll do it," He said, before turning to Felix and Calhoun. "Come on, guys, we have two kingdoms to save right now."

The trio took off towards a wall and Ralph smashed through it, allowing them an opening to escape through. As they left, Felix fixed the broken wall with his hammer, to ensure that the Nightmare Scrappies didn't use it to enter the castle.

As they left, the racers all heard the sound of the Nightmare Scrappies banging at the castle gates. Several Nightmare Racers held hands for comfort and huddled close to each other.

"What do we do, President Vanellope?" Taffyta asked.

Vanellope thought things over for a moment, then her eyes lit up. "There's an escape hatch at the top of the castle. We can climb up to the rooftops."

"Then what?" Rancis asked hopefully.

"I don't know," Vanellope admitted. "But hopefully, Stinkbrain will be able to help us out."

The banging on the gates increased, and Vanellope turned to the Nightmare Racers. "Guys, do you want to join us?" She asked.

The Nightmare Racers looked up. "You want us to what?" Tabitha asked.

"We're going to escape onto the rooftops," She said. "Are you with us or not?"

Tabitha didn't answer, but Kendall immediately rushed over and shook Vanellope's hand. "Yes, we're all in on it!" She said. "We want to live!"

The Nightmare Racers shouted out in agreement. Then, a fist punched a hole into the gate, and Vanellope looked off at the hallway.

"Come on, let's do this!" She said, and she and all the other racers took off down the hallway as the Nightmare Scrappies began to smash through the gates and swarm into the castle.
