Chapter Thirty-Six: Admiring the Artwork

A/N: I am extremely aware that my OC and Joker are consistently hitting on each other but keep in mind that their partnership was because of Allegra's kleptomania (which, if anyone's realized she hasn't done in a long time, mainly because she's busy with Joker's fun), and she offered Joker a little 'on the side'. Established a long time ago that they're sexually attracted to each other. SOOOO I don't want to be receiving any messages about there's too much smut—you knew what you were getting into when my OC was sexually direct! Now, please read on, my loyal readers!

(On a side-note, I would so try to hit on Joker anyway so this story is just rigged with all my lust for our favorite Clown Prince of Crime. Soooo...yeah.)

Allegra tied the unconscious Bat fake on the chair; she was at a stoop, still in the pretty elegant dress. Her heels made soft click as she stepped behind it, knotting the binds without much effort. She blew her bangs out of the way when she straightened, stepped in front of the chair, and began tying the man's feet.

Joker cued the video camera, edited the feed, and such. He glanced at Allegra when she was humming a song that sounded familiar, something he might have heard on the radio as he was passing through. There was a less than cold look about her how she fluidly tied knots. He had a fairly similar image of her tying the binds on him...he half-smiled at the idea.

When Allegra straightened, she tugged them.

"Afraid he might get loose?" Joker inquired, leaning casually against one of the frozen meat racks.

Allegra turned to look at him.

"Not at all," she answered. "I take pride in tying people to chairs...floors..." She smirked at him, "Beds. The idea of one of these shits getting out of them is a bit damaging to my pride."

"Mmmm." Joker mused. She walked past him, a shallow gait.

"Do you want me to hold the camera?"

"It'll be fine." Joker remarked.

Allegra shrugged one shoulder. She glanced at the doorway where Darren, Steve, and Richard were speaking in low voices. Their eyes glanced in her direction, and Steve's expression looked ominous, but fearful. Evidently, he'd finally learned his lesson. Allegra was a madwoman, no doubt. She made a scathing noise.

"If they don't stop staring at me, I'm going to..."

"Don't get your panties in a twist, Bunny," sighed Joker as he cued the camera for recording. He glanced up at her when she turned to him. "I've changed my mind. Here."

"You just told me you didn't want me to record." Allegra replied, confused.

"And I repeat: I've changed my mind. Come here."

"You really have to start making up your mind," said Allegra. She walked over to him while Joker sent her a lucid expression that was a nonverbal meaning of 'Quiet'. Allegra smiled smugly at him.

"Now sit on the stand." Joker said.

Allegra rolled her eyes: "Will you just decide what you want to do? You're giving me whiplash."

Joker smiled broadly at her saying, "You know how I was before you came along, Bunny. Don't expect me to change now."

Allegra rolled her eyes again, sitting the camera on the stand. She watched the boy stir; he was finally coming to. The look he gave Joker was ominous; the look he sent Allegra was downright hateful. After all, he'd 'saved' her life from the perverted homeless shit. Now here he was, tied by her.

"Sleeping Beauty's awake a hundred years earlier." Allegra stated.

Joker looked at the bat fake to see what she was talking about, smiling at her reference.

"I have an idea since you can't make up your mind, or you've chosen to confuse me and that's what your mind has decided," Allegra said smoothly. "I'm going to go outside, apologize to Steve, and then watch your performance on TV."

"Making all the decisions, are we?" Joker asked, smirking at her.

"Only a few." Allegra replied. She stepped towards him, clad in high heels she was just his height. "You're still the rooster in the hen house, Killer."

Joker jumped a little when she pinched him from behind and he chortled a bit to himself. Allegra sauntered out with the bat fraud looking after her with the worst hate a man could send silently to a woman.

When the recording was finished, Allegra heard screaming from the room. She came in, smiling when Brian Douglas had a smile of his own carved along his mouth, just like Joker's. He died from massive blood loss, and the fact that the terror was still in his eyes made the look even more gruesome.

"Scars look better on you," Allegra commented, bending at the waist to get a better look at the dead fool.

Joker ignored her, wiping blood from the knife he used on him.

"You can really butcher a person..." Allegra mumbled; there was no hint in her voice that declared she was disgusted or repulsed by the idea; it sounded more like admiration of a painting than the observation of a dead man.

She touched Brian's jagged creases which would never really heal. Granted, he was dead, but even if he was alive, that was a situation he'd never truly come out of with an optimistic point of view.

"It's all in the hand." Joker responded.

Allegra felt him step behind her; his hands touched her hips, their fingers moving down her waist; she straightened, looking around at him. The smirk on his face was a dead giveaway what he was thinking.

"So I guess you're a little like me then, huh?" asked Allegra with a smile like a Cheshire Cat.

"How's that?"

"Killing makes you horny." Allegra commented.

"It depends on who's with me when it happens," Joker mused.

"I've heard that before," she said quietly, making Joker look at her curiously, and she added, "Not you—other people."

Allegra glanced at the dead man still bound in the chair.

"What do you want to do with him?"

"Hang him from a building, make him fly," Joker threw out the idea with a measure of calm. "Right into the Mayor's window and see if grav-i-ty is all that it's cracked up to be."

Allegra chuckled: "Are you serious?"

"As a shark attack." Joker breathed.

"Can I tie the noose?"

"I don't see why not."

"Can I throw him off the building?" asked Allegra eagerly.

"If it'll keep you from asking me any more questions."

"I have one more."

"Mm?"

Allegra touched her fingers to his vest, fiddling with his tie. Joker smiled at her playful demeanor.

"I want to get you out of this suit." She stated.

"That's not a question."

"I know." Allegra replied. She began undoing his tie.

"Business first."

"Bah Humbug." Allegra pouted. "Please?" Her hands moved lower than his belt.

"This isn't up for negotiation, Allegra." Joker told her firmly.

Allegra shrugged. She kissed him on the neck, so as to avoid ruining his makeup. She merely grinned at him, accepting fact for fact, and began tying a noose from the bonds that were no longer needed. Joker watched her skirt around (pun not intended) in her dress for a few minutes, simply admiring that she could easily move in a long dress and heels. When she tied the noose, Allegra tossed it to him; he caught it.

She simply cast him a sultry look and walked out of the building.
