Ginger & Stacy

"Bye Candace, I'll see you tomorrow." Stacy said as she hung up her phone and dropped it in her purse as she opened the door to the coffee shop.
Ginger was standing in line ordering a drink and treat for herself when someone tapped her on the shoulder. She turned around. "Stacy, you made it." Stacy nodded. "It wasn't easy... so here I am. Let's get some drinks and treats, I'm starved and that cinnamon swirl cake is talking to me."
The girls got their order and took a seat near the fireplace. Ginger looked upset about something. "Is something bothering you Ginger?" Stacy inquired and her younger sister nodded. "A friend of mine really likes another friend of ours. How would someone tell their friend that they want to be more than friends?"
Stacy thought about that a moment. "Well, how close is this friend to the other friend?" She said knowing that more than one of Ginger's troop mates had an interest in a few of the boys they hung around with; Ginger included.
Ginger looked at the table. "We're all quite close." She admitted. Stacy nodded and smiled. "Maybe you should tell them the truth." She said and Ginger's head shot up. "What would I say?"
Stacy's smile broadened. "Just say... 'I think you're a really great guy, and I'd like to get to know you better.' You might want to give this advice to Isabella, Gretchen and Adyson as well. Be honest, not secretive. Guys don't take hints very well, they need to have things spelled out for them."
Ginger sat, drank her drink and ate her treat. "I'll try that, thanks Stacy."
