The preparations complete, Mello was ready and James had told me what to do. The whole anime thing was a perfect role for me. Ace and I had several that we knew were similar to Death Note. I was more than happy to take a day off, watch the anime and compare to see if it was similar enough. I also hoped that if it didn't work, we wouldn't be teliported to another world. It would make it harder for us and Ace. She was at home here, but also needed to go back home to her family who had to be looking for her by now.

I started with my normal favorites. I noticed each similarity and difference. Most the similarities were only superficial and could not do anything to help us. Then I got to Hellsing which had death and realistic animation but even then, that couldn't work. They were in a way half and half on similarities and differences. I then tried out corpse party. The game was more similar than the anime but it at least had some similarities. I looked for more DVDs. I was down to three of them. I sighed at this. They were long and no where near close.

It was time to look around Akihabra. I needed a disguise each time I went out when it wasn't for work. I wanted to lose this identity and head home or to a new world leaving Ace here. The best one I could think of was called the seven deadly sins. She had never saw it herself but I liked that world the most even if they slaughtered some paladins in the beginning. I wasn't sure if taking either of them to that world would be a good idea. The same could be said about her and I in Jame's favorite, Ghost in the Shell.

I got my disguise ready. There were wigs to change my hair look,contacts to change and mask my eye color, cloths that masked my body shape, a voice changer to change my voice into something a bit deeper, and finally fake piercings. It kept me in a way to not stick out in case all the other stuff couldn't fool someone. It made me shake my head at how at home Ace was to think of such a fully done disguise. She was created for here but born in a real world. I was born in the wrong place too but I was sure once I was in the correct world, I would feel it.

I put on my disguise and went out of the room.I then went to the backpack that contained what I needed. There was money, a translation dictionary and water in my bag. I then smiled and walked to Akihabra the town of anime. I passed as some girls in maid costumes flirted with me. I smiled at them but it was the DVD store I was looking for. There was a few anime I wanted to find and watch before I decided which one might possibly work. After all, Light only said 'might' and 'in theory.' there was also the fact that we were not sure how close the anime had to be to work.

The thing was, not working would also give us an advantage. I could take Near out or Ace would and we'd go to Light's side. I hummed at the thought of how we kept having this cat and mouse game while Light helped us to get back home. I smiled at this. If we stuck around, we would all make a great team. We all had in a way a mentality similar to Light's as our county had corrupt criminals pulling strings in our Government.

I soon found the DvD store and went in. I browsed through till I found two potential candidates. One of the candidates was Parasite. Ace never saw even though she thought of seeing it. The other, I looked high and low till I found it. It was Code Geas. I frowned wondering if Light or someone could teach me to read it so I could watch it in English. It had a fantastic dub anyways. I then bought the two and headed back. I wasn't going to be able to watch them that day or night. I would watch and contrast another day.
