George Washington: the 'Father of America' who fought the British and her allies for the independence our nation deserved.

Vs.

Simon Bolivar: the South American liberator who fought for his nations freedom over Spanish Rule in war and politics.

"Today on Deadliest Warrior we've got two warriors who both fought for what is right and that was Freedom, weather it was freedom of speech or freedom over a foreign power they fought for it as Simon Bolivar takes on his childhood hero George Washington." Geoff said.

"Lets go ahead and take a look at my tale of the take." Dr. Dorian said.

Washington:
Circa: 1776
Age: 41
Height: 6'3"
Weight: 200 Pounds
Weapons:
Colichemarde
Pennsylvanian Long Rifle & Brown Bess Musket
6-Pound Cannon

Bolivar:
Circa: 1820
Age: 36
Height: 5'3"
Weight: 140 Pounds
Weapons:
French Calvary Saber
Jean-Lepage Carbine
8-Pound Cannon

Close Range:

Colichemarde v. French Calvary Saber

Since we've seen both weapons preform in battle before which do our experts give an edge? "First off with the Colichemarde there weren't any slashes at all I say anytime a weapon gives you options it gives you success on the battlefield, edge: French Calvary Saber." Geoff said.

"I disagree it has to go to the Colichemarde and George Washington because it is made to counter a saber and set you up for killing blows, edge: Colichermarde." Mack said.

"I would agree with Geoff you can easily say that the Calvary Saber is anti Colichemarde, and it has more options then the Colichemarde for that reason alone gives it my edge, edge: Simon Bolivar." Dr. Dorian said.

EDGE: French Calvary Saber

Mid-Range:

Pennsylvanian Long Rifle & Brown Bess Musket v. Jean-Lepage Carbine

"The Jean-Lepage Carbine was the best premier Carbine that was produced in France in the early 1800s it became one of Simon Bolivar's favorite weapons because of the accuracy you had with it and the fact that it was perfect for calvary and it was very reliable the reason why he loved the fact that it was reliable it because he is ambushing his enemies when its storming and he needs a weapon that can get the job done and this can get it done all the time." Gary Harper said.

To test the killing power of the Jean-Lepage Carbine our team of experts set up three moving foam torsos once Geoff gave the count down the expert fired his Carbine hitting the closest target in the chest ribbing out of its spine, then he reloaded and he aimed it and fired hitting a foam target in the collarbone, then he reloaded his final shot and he aimed it and fired hitting the target in the forehead tearing through most of the skin and glancing off the skull at the same time. "Okay, so there are three targets and three hits yet there are two mortal wounds and one instant kill with an average reload time of about 0:54-seconds." Dr. Dorian said.

Since we've already seen the Long Rifle and Brown Bess preform in battle which do our experts give an edge? "The overall accuracy and killing power of the Long Rifle & Brown Bess in combination is enough to give Washington the edge, edge: George Washington." Geoff said.

"I disagree the Jean-Lepage Carbine has the accuracy and the reload time to its advantage however you only need one of them to kill, and I don't like the over differing reload times of the Rifle and Musket, edge: Carbine." Dr. Dorian said.
"I agree with what Geoff said and Doc Washington was able to successfully combine the differing reload times of these two rifles he used the muskets for cover fire do to their much faster reload times while rifleman used irregular tactics, edge: Washington." Mack said.

EDGE: Pennsylvanian Long Rifle & Brown Bess Musket

Long Range:

6-Pound Cannon v. 8-Pound Cannon

"We've seen this many a times before the 8-Pound Cannon has power, greater reliability greater accuracy and its a devastating weapon the 6-Pound Cannon might also be quite powerful but Washington's was made out of candle sticks which is nothing compared to the 8-Pound Cannon, edge: 8-Pound Cannon." Mack said.

EDGE: 8-Pound Cannon

"Okay Robert we can all say that were all too excited to see this battle play out lets run the sim and take a look at the ex-factors after the final battle." Geoff said.

George Washington: OOOOO
Simon Bolivar: ooooo Ø ø

Robert Daly agreed at Geoff as he turned around to his computer and flipped the switch and the battle opens up to Washington giving a speech to four of his Continental Soldiers, while he was sharing his speech Simon Bolivar was listening to it from where he was standing up on top of a hill Washington then saw Bolivar then he saw four Bourgeois Rebels walk up with a cannon then Washington quickly ordered his men to gather their weapons and fire their 6-Pound Cannon, however Bolivar fired his cannon and the 8-Pound Ball crushed into a Continental Soldiers shoulder prior to the soldier attempting to fire the cannon tearing off his arm. (Ø5-4) Then Washington ordered his men to clear the cannon as he picked up the match and lit the fuse then smoke flew out of the barrel of the cannon followed by a cannon ball which hit a Rebel head on in the chest sending him flying backwards dead. (ø4-4) Then Bolivar ordered his men to reload the cannon and he fired it and the cannon ball flew head on into Washington's cannon blowing it sky high sending the Continentals flying, then a Continental soldier stood up aimed his Long Rifle and fired hitting a Rebel in the forehead killing him instantly. (ø3-4) Then a Rebel aimed his Jean-Lepage Carbine however two other Continental Soldiers fired there Brown Bess Muskets covering the rifleman and they both hit the rebel in the chest before he could fire his Carbine. (ø2-4) Then Bolivar had his last rebel reloaded the cannon then Washington ordered his three Continental Soldiers to charge then the three men charged and then Bolivar fired his cannon as the three men charged up the hill, the cannon ball tore through the first continental soldiers lower stomach tearing through his body and into the man behind him hitting him in the hip tearing off his leg killing them both why the third continental soldier dove for safety. (Ø, Ø2-2) Then the Continental Soldier began to stand up but a rebel aimed his Jean-Lepage Carbine and fired hitting the soldier in the throat killing him instantly. (Ø2-1) Then Washington mounted on his horse and drew his Colichemarde and road past the rebel and stabbed him in the collarbone killing him as he reloaded his Carbine. (ø1-1) Then Bolivar mounted on his horse and drew his French Calvary Saber and then the two liberators charged towards each other and Bolivar swung his Saber but Washington blocked it but he fell off the side of his horse, the Bolivar came up and he swung his saber but Washington blocked it and punched him in the face stunning him then he stabbed him in the leg without having any time to set Bolivar up for a killing blow then Simon slashed Washington across the face then he reared back and Washington took that time to set him up for a blow but Bolivar managed to slash Washington across the throat, then George Washington fell forwards then Bolivar checked if he was dead and he was. (Ø1-0) Then a tear fell from Bolivar's cheek as he hung his head in respect for his fallen childhood hero then he walked off in victory.

George Washington: 49.4% Simon Bolivar: 50.6%
Colichemarde: 47% French Calvary Saber: 53%
Pennsylvanian Long Rifle & Brown Bess Musket: 59% Jean-Lepage Carbine: 41%
6-Pound Cannon: 31% 8-Pound Cannon: 69%
Ex-Factors: (Ex-Factors Averages)
Tactics: 91 Tactics: 89
Physicality: 94 Physicality: 83
Generalship: 97 Generalship: 91
Calm Under Fire: 83 Calm Under Fire: 76
Logistics: 56 Logistics: 94
Wins: 2.470 (84.4) Wins: 2,530 (86.2)

"The reason Bolivar won was because of his more power and reliable cannon and the fact that his Saber proved more lethal, Washington took the advantages of the majority of ex-factors but Bolivar to major ex-factor of logistics Washington only had a 13% score overall for his logistics compared to Bolivar's 21% however Washington gave Bolivar a challenge for the fact that he was combining regular and irregular tactics in battle however It was Simon's logistics that allowed him to achieve victory." Robert Daly said.

Final Carthage versus Rome Essay Comparison

Do you know the two greatest Ancient Empires in history, do you know that Rome is said to be the greatest lasting empire of the Ancient World, did you know Carthage was its greatest threat?

Carthage Military Conquests; now everyone knows about Hannibal and his conquests against Rome in the Second Punic War (218 - 203 BCE) but did you know that Hannibal wanted to fight Rome so badly that he lead his men over the Alps, to attack Rome and began the Second Punic War which lasted for about two decades, Hannibal fought many battles against Rome. But with all that being said before Hannibal fought against Rome his father Hamilcar Barca fought against Rome for control for Sicily but he was defeated by the Romans then after many victorious battles Hamilcar Barca returned to Carthage and made his six year old son to swear that he would always be an enemy of Rome.
Roman Military Conquests; Gaius Julius Caesar Octavianus Augustus, better known as Julius Caesar was a legendary military leader but not as popular as a Political leader, at a young age he fought in the Roman army serving as a Lieutenant, and he was quickly promoted to General, as a general his brilliant tacticians expanded the new empire to new lands such as Egypt, the Gauls, and Germania within his military career he conquered millions of people and forced them into Roman law, then he became Rome's first emperor but it did not last long when he was assassinated by the senate one March 15, 41 BC. When it comes down to Military campaigns Carthage and Rome were both legendary but Carthage failed to bring down Rome, and the Roman's won against the armies of Carthage in the First and Second Punic Wars.
Roman Government; The Roman Empire is known for its legendary Senate, the Roman Senate was like the tip of the spear without the senate Rome would have not lasted as long as it did, with many Senators of State being Aristocratic and Democratic representatives controlled over all of Rome before Julius Caesar showed up and became the first Emperor, after Caesar took control of Rome the Senate lost control the control they wanted back which led to him being assassinated. The Senate was head butting with Military leaders, example: One General kills another for more power then once he takes that power a Senator would kill him to take power, but Rome began to learn that people like Caligula and Nero when Caligula and Nero became Emperor the power got of their heads, they went on a killing spree, nearly bringing the entire Roman empire to its down fall.
Carthaginian Government; Hamilcar Barca, was a effective military leader who was backed up by the Carthaginian Government, which gave him money and weapons to fight in major battles. The Carthaginian Government also had built the largest Empire of the Mediterranean Sea, do to the creator of Carthage, was the first was the first empire to build apartments for peoples to come and visit Carthage. When it comes down to Government both empires lasted for thousands of years Rome's Government of multiple Senators, which helped the Roman empire lasted for millions of years. Overall the Roman Empire is by far the best Empire in the Ancient World the Carthaginians did not hold up an Empire like Rome for a reason, and that is cause the Roman's fight like no other, with their military feats.

"Okay Robert we've compared each Empires soldiers, leaders, and as well as their overall successfulness from politics, architecture, and military prowess, we've also compared the warriors ex-factors weapons and as well as their leaders weapons armor and as well as their tactics, lets go ahead and get this started." Geoff said.

Carthage: 2,000
Rome: 2,000

Rome–Scipio Africanus: 100 Centurions 551 Roman Calvary 1200 Legionnaires 149 Skirmishers
Carthage–Hannibal: 250 Mercenaries 500 Libyan Spearman 351 Numidian's 889 Iberian Ceatrati 10 War Elephants

Robert clicks the switch and the battle opens up to Hannibal Barca riding on one of his Carthaginian War Elephants, he soon sees his most hated opponents Scipio Africanus came riding up on horseback then they both dismounted their Elephant and Horse then Hannibal walked up with one of his Iberian Ceatratis as Scipio came up with one of his Centurions, the two men began to exchange phrases Hannibal ended his phrases almost every-time by saying "I'm an enemy of Rome, and always will be I will not stop until you destroyed." Scipio ended his phrases merely every time by said "You don't stand a chance you killed my father prepare to die." Hannibal then responded by drawing his Falcata and raised in front of Scipio's face as his Centurion readied his Pilum however Hannibal slammed his Falcata at Scipio's feet then as he began to turn away Scipio stabbed his own Gladius in the ground near Hannibal's feet, then the two men made eye contact and they both nodded in respect but then they both walked by to their remaining armies. Hannibal walked up to his two commanding generals and began to set up the battlefield he hid his two units of Iberian Caetratis inside a square of two separate columns of Libyan Spearman, he also had his Mercenaries line up in columns between the Spearman and finally he set up his War Elephants in the front lines. The scene switches back to Scipio with his army all ready set up with a Single Centurion leading a century of 100 Legionnaires all of whom were set up in separate phalanxes, with his Velites hiding behind them and he set up his Cavalry to the far right of the battlefield preparing to outflank the Carthaginians, Hannibal decided to set off the battle by sending up his War Elephants, the elephants shaking the earth as they charged then Scipio who was anticipating the elephants had his centers of his lines and then the Velites opened fire on the elephants causing only a few of them running away in fear then two the elephants ran through the shield wall killing a few Legionnaires and stomping on a Centurions face as he screamed while laying on the ground then the other Romans began to use the spears using them to keep the elephants at bay however a few of the Romans were killed while doing so then a Roman threw his Pilum hitting a elephant in the face sending it flying to its side landing on its driver, then Scipio after scaring off the rest of the elephants. And then he sent his Legions up towards Hannibal knowing that he was going to use his Envelopment on his troops he sent his Cavalry up to counter the Numidian's. However as the Legionnaires neared the Carthaginians the Iberians ambushed them weakening them and stunning them then as this was happening the Libyan Spearman and Mercenaries began to encircle the Romans. When the Numidian's began to surround the rear of the Romans the Roman Cavalry lead by Scipio attacked them from behind decimating some of the Numidian's Hannibal then ordered his Iberians to counter Scipio's cavalry and they began to throw Javelins and Soliferrums and fiery Falaricas destroying many of the Roman Cavalrymen then Hannibal used what was left of his Numidian's and personally lead the charge decimating both Scipio and his Cavalrymen, after Scipio lay dying on the ground with a spear tip in his chest his Legionnaires began to scatter and ran away, then after the battle hundreds of Roman and Carthaginians lay dead on the ground Hannibal then dismounted his horse and walked towards the dying Scipio and he kicked him to see if he was alive but it only hurt Scipio even more then Hannibal looked at Scipio and he said with a low voice. "I told you I was going to destroy you." Then he joined with the rest of his military in victory.

"In what has been one of the closest match-ups we've seen Carthage ended up winning do to the fact that the weapons Hannibal was using and his tactics he was using when he was in his prime his tactics were far superior however Rome did play to having better trained soldiers, so in Deadliest Warriors first ever Empire on Empire battle Carthage is the winner." Robert Daly said.
