"I must go, he comes" With that, the moon mother vanished. Kagome stood and went to the mirror. His mother was right and so for that reason only, she would try.
The door opened, and he walked in. Kagome began to take off all the jewelry.
"Are you ill?"
"No, why do you keep asking that?"
"Because mother is hovering."
"She just being motherly."
He snorted and walked up to her. He put his hands in his pockets "Did you like Lilly."
Kagome swallowed "She is nice enough, not at all like the other demonesses."
"Indeed" He moved her hair, and she closed her eyes "Tomorrow we will go home" He kissed her neck and goosebumps raised but then she wondered, did he touch her like this.
"Why so suddenly?"
"It needs a woman's touch I am told" He kissed her neck again "Lilly will help you."
"She told you" Kagome watched him in the mirror.
"We stopped on the way to her house; I had to pick up something."
His hands went around, and he untied her top.
"My Lord"
He paused "Hn."
She looked at him through the mirror "Forgive me but, tonight was rather exhausting, perhaps I am becoming ill."
"You are tired?"
"Hai"
"Should I cancel with Lilly then?"
"I just need some sleep is all," She said she would try, but already her heart was stabbing her.
"Very well" He lifted her chin and kissed her mouth, and she couldn't help but inhale him, his scent, his warmth. She wondered if the possessiveness had to do with his mother, or perhaps he was pleased because of Lilly.
He released her mouth and walked out of the room, leaving her alone, and she wondered if this is what it would be like if he mated to Lilly.
When she woke up the next day feeling like she had been hit by a bus. So she was very ill-prepared for Lilly.
Lilly stood in a yellow dress with a cute sun hat and matching bag just waiting with a goofy smile on her face "My Lady!"
Kagome wanted to die.
"Lady Lilly, your so cute."
Lilly blushed "Do you think so?"
"Very"
"My lady? Why are you in Miko wear?"
Kagome looked down "Force of habit I guess."
"Oh please let me make you over for our date today!"
Kagome turned white, date?
"My Lady, are you still feeling Ill? My Lord told me you were; you must be tired after last night."
Sesshomaru was in the study with his father.
"No, no I'm fine, sorry, yes I mean if you want to?"
Lilly grabbed Kagome's arm, and they went back upstairs. When Sesshomaru came out to find them missing, he went hunting.
He opened the door, and Lily spun around "My Lord I have given Lady wife makeover, I hope you do not mind."
Sesshomaru looked at Kagome.
She stood now wearing a smilier sundress; it had blue and white flowers all over it. Her hair was down, and she wore rope style wedges.
"Who knew she was little!" Lilly smiled,
Sesshomaru looked Kagome's legs up and down and then up to her face. She seemed shy.
"Who knew she had those legs too!"Lilly gushed making Kagome blush.
"Hn" He did, and he wasn't too thrilled about having her show them off, but he would allow it, after all, they were just going to their home.
"Let us be on our way."
Lilly grabbed Kagome arm and all but dragged her down the stairs.
The drive didn't take very long, and Kagome was overwhelmed. Lilly wasn't.
Sesshomaru followed them around as Lilly showed Kagome room after room. Then he got a phone call and stepped away.
"Look at this one Kagome!" Lilly threw open the doors "This one can be the babies room!"
Kagome walked in "Babies room?"
"You don't like it?"
Kagome turned to Lilly It's not that"
"Speaking of, I do hope I get invited to your sisters baby shower, oh I love babies!"
Sesshomaru walked in, and Lilly looked at him "I'm hungry, and I don't think she ate."
Sesshomaru looked at Kagome "Very well."
Kagome followed as Lilly talked to Sesshomaru, Kagome sat in the back as Lily took the front and Kagome watched as Lilly touched his arm as they ate, and Kagome watched as her husband looked at Lilly more than her.
Kagome looked down at her food that she could not eat.
This was exhausting.
