run, i'm a natural disaster
36. Obvious
The group are hanging around one of the more grimy streets of Amestris, cold and wet and grumbly. Greed disappeared a little while ago to try and find them a place to stay and even the small semblance of warmth Ed has managed to achieve by making the wall into a shelter from the wind is not going too well.
"Found one!" Ling smiles from around the corner, motioning for them to join them, before the seamless transition into Greed takes over. "I found one. It's over there-" He motions with one hand towards a decent size building with a red lantern hanging above its door.
"Again?" Ed asks with a sigh. "I mean, I know you're a creature of desire and all, but really? Another brothel?"
"You'd better have made it clear to them that Ed's not for sale this time," Darius grumbles, but they all walk together anyhow.
Greed is a popular customer- as he always is- and he has a large gathering around him, all vying for his attention, all trying to be the one to service him. Heinkel is getting friendly with the Brothel Madam, and Darius and Ed are with the remainder of the girls, entertaining them with stories and being entertained.
Ed delicately places her palms together and creates a paper rose, with wrinkles in the petals and clear definition on the leaves. The awed claps of the girls are what makes the rest look over, and soon, instead of Greed being the popular one, it's Ed. She shoots him a smirk (despite popular belief, she is as much of a jerk as he is, she just seems nicer about it), and he mock glares back, grabbing the few girls that stayed, and taking them into the back room. Ed returns to her audience and decides to try for an orchid for her next "magic trick".
Later on, when they are all bedded up, Heinkel is suprised to hear his name being called. He unfocuses from the sated pleasure he feels and tries to listen.
"Sorry to be blunt, Honoured Customer, but are those two in a relationship?" asks the Matron. She sounds vaguely disapproving, as if a partnered pair should not be in an establishment such as hers. Heinkel moves from where he is sprawled lazily on her bed, watching her naked form, so he can look at the odd lump that is Greed and Ed. As he so often sees when they are staying at inns and hotels, their forms are curled up on one another, Greed's chin on Ed's forehead, her automail digging in at the sides where she's tried to spread out but hasn't been able too. It doesn't look comfortable, but they seem to enjoy it.
"No idea," he says finally, and starts licking her collarbone, effectively ceasing communications.
In another room, Darius looks tiredly at the girls around him. "If I teach you how to put camo-face paint on properly, promise this won't come back to bite me in the arse?"
The girls laugh and Darius sighs, but uncaps the paint anyway.
