Baby Grey… Already?

Thank you for your responses to the last chapter! It was intense! I had like 15-20 reviews which is great, and I loved hearing every part of it. What I didn't like was how so many people don't like how I wrote Christian. This is MY story, may I emphasise once more and this is how I write it. Because Christian was clearly more worried about Ana than what his aunt was saying, he simply just ignored her and left! Please give me a chance before you guys stop reading. It's saddening to see so many flaming my writing, hating on it… Thank you to those who have stuck with me thick and thin so far, I hope you're looking forward to this chapter and what will happen towards the future with our beloved couple, family and their friends! Thank you to those who are staying with me, Claudia xxxx

Chapter 36 – Hospitals and Hospitality

APOV

Since Christian left this morning, all I've been doing is read and just relax. Aunt Chloe can go shove one up where the sun doesn't shine. I don't care what she says. I am Ana Rose Grey and I am not a fucking gold-digger! I stroke my bump that's getting bigger and bigger each day and smile at it. I can't wait until I meet my little boy. Suddenly, my phone bursts into that familiar iPhone ringtone and I pick it up. "Hi Mia!" I burst cheerily down the phone. I hear her sniff and a little sob. "What's the matter? Are you okay?" I ask immediately sitting up. She sniffs again. "Ana… Austin's gone into hospital. There was a car crash near Christian's company." She sobs. I gasp. Was Christian in this accident?

"Oh dear! Are you okay?" she sobs once more and I can hear Carrick's soothing voice in the background. "Can you come? I know it's a lot to ask. But I need you," she says. I sigh. "Of course I can come. It's not a lot to ask at all. I'm here for you. Which hospital is it?" I ask her. She sniffs again. "Swedish. You might need security, considering a lot of the Grey's will be there." She croaks. "Got it. I'm just gonna change, and I'll get Sawyer to take me. Does Christian know?" Mia clears her throat and sighs. "He was the one who told me. He's at the hospital now." She sobs once more. "Don't cry. I'll be there as soon as possible."

Considering I'm still in pyjama shorts and a t-shirt, I push myself from the sofa, and make my way up to the bedroom, where Gail was changing the sheets. "Hello," I say. I must have startled her because she jumps a little. "Ana," she greets. "Do you want some privacy? I can come back in a while." She says. I shake my head. "I'll change in the bathroom." She nods. I go into my closet, grabbing my pink maternity shirt, leggings which is basically all I ever wear. I change into my shirt in quick time, doing up the buttons and then tying up my hair. I reach down to slip my shorts off and to put my leggings on. I manage to get my leggings around my ankles but as soon as I start pulling my leggings up, my back aches and twists. I whimper.

I can't even put leggings on myself. Christian normally helps me… But he's not here. I close my eyes and feel my face flush deeply. "Ana, are you alright?" Gail says. She must have heard me whimper and groan. "Um…" I say. She knocks on the door. "Do you need any assistance with anything?" she says gently. "I… I… I'm having difficulty putting my leggings on. I'm in a little bit of pain," I say quietly. "Do you want me to help you?" She asks through the door. I am so embarrassed, but I need to be quick. "Um, yes please… I'll open the door, hang on!" I call. I shuffle over to the door with my back bent like a hunchback and I flop myself back onto the toilet seat I was sitting on.

She peeks in and I flush. "My back hurts when I bend and I can't stretch that far to get my leggings on. Normally, Christian helps me… But I didn't know I would have needed to go out today. I'm so embarrassed. I'm sorry," I say. Gail smiles warmly at me. "I'm just glad you didn't call any of the male staff." She says. I giggle a little. "I'll just pull them up to your thighs and you can do the rest." I nod sheepishly. She pulls them up to my thighs and then I do pull them up fully. "Thank you so much, Gail. I'm sorry for how awkward that was." I grimace. She shakes her head. "Don't mention this to Christian," I say. She laughs and nods.

"I'll leave you to get ready." She says. I nod and I slap a little make up on, putting on some flats and say thanks to Gail once more as I leave the bedroom with my purse. "Sawyer!" I call as I walk down the stairs. I watch him walk over to the bottom of the stairs. "Yes ma'am." He says. I frown. "It's Ana. I need you to take me to Swedish Hospital. I'll need extra security." I say. He nods. "Are you alright, Ma- Ana?" he says. "I'm fine, no baby yet. Austin's gone into hospital… due to a car accident. I'm sure you've heard." He nods in realisation. "We need to leave as quick as possible." He nods.

Gail walks to the front of the door, holding something. She passes me it. "Here you are, dear. A hot water bottle for your back pains." She says. I smile gratefully at her. "Thank you, Gail. For looking after me so well." I say happily. She pats my shoulder. "I hope everything goes well." I nod back. Sawyer stands at the ready and Gail leaves for the kitchen. "Ma- Ana, are you ready to go?" I nod but check my purse once more. "Yes, I'm ready. Who's going to be joining us?" I ask jokingly. "Ryan, Higgs and this new guy, James." I nod. "Great. Let's go."

MPOV
When we finally reach Swedish, I rush in with Daddy into the ER. I see Christian standing there and he turns to see me. I run over to him and end up in his arms. "Hey," he says quietly, kissing my head. "How is he?" I ask, even without greeting Christian, but I'm sure he understands. "I don't know yet. They've been examining him for a while." I close my eyes in agony. "Thank you for being here, Christian." I say into his suit jacket. He strokes my back gently and I settle into his hugs. They've always been so special to me. "Did Dad drive you?" Christian asks me.

I nod. "Yes, he did. I caught him just before he went to work." I say. "He left. I didn't want him to come in." He gestures for me to sit down and I do. He sits next to me and immediately, my head flops onto his shoulder and the tears come. My sobs escape my mouth and Christian hugs me. "I'm scared, Christian," I say quietly. "What if something really bad has happened to him?" I ask my brother. "Nothing will have. If something does, which it won't; I'll have the best doctors to heal him." Christian says. My face buries into his chest and I cry harder. He strokes my hair and mutters soothing words. Christian's done this to me so many times when I was upset.

A doctor comes over. "Mr and Miss Grey. I'm Doctor Delaware." She greets. I nod. "Your mother, Dr Trevelyan-Grey is on her way over. She's being transferred. As for your boyfriend, Miss Grey; he's going through some thorough examination. It might take a while for us to report back to you. It's busy today." Christian looks furious. "Doctor, I will do anything for you and your staff to do your best to figure out what's happened to him. I regularly donate to this hospital, and I can donate more; if you can do this one little thing for me." Christian says as he stands up. "Sir, I know you mean well, but I won't be taking a bribe for any treatment, unless there is an operation involved." I whimper. I don't want Austin to have surgery, at all!

"Please understand, Mr Grey. We're doing our best now." The doctor says. Christian nods and sits back down next to me. "I tried. I'm sorry." He says. I shake my head. "Don't be silly. I can wait a little while." I say. I clear my throat and try to change the subject. "Have you decided what you're naming your baby?" I ask Christian. He shakes his head. "Nope. Ana hasn't thought of any either. I have though. I've thought of a little bit." He says. I feel my face light up. "What name?" He shrugs. "After granddad." My eyebrows rise. "Theo? That's a gorgeous name, Christian. I know how much Granddad means to you. He helped you a lot during your teens, didn't he?" I ask him. Christian nods, and I twist at my fingers in my lap. I look up from my lap and I see Ana walking over with Sawyer behind her. She's smiling warmly and I immediately rush towards her.

CPOV

Ana's here? What the fuck?! Who told her? "Ana!" Mia squeals, rushing over to hug her. Mia almost knocks her off of her feet but Sawyer catches Ana's back. I sigh in sweet fucking relief. I can see Mia's shoulder shaking and I know that she's crying. I watch Ana stroke her back and soothe her. They've become so close recently and it's lovely to see. Ana guides Mia to sit down and Ana walks over, whilst supporting her back. Sawyer sits next to Taylor. Ana fishes a packet of tissues out of her purse and passes them to Mia. I stand to Ana and I pull her into my arms.

"What are you doing here?" I ask her. "Mia called me when she was on her way. Sawyer drove me here. I have 3 of the security." She giggles. Her hands reach up to my face and she circles my cheeks with her thumbs. She buries her face in my chest and I kiss her head. "I'm glad you're not hurt." She whispers. I smile warmly at her. I push her to sit down and she does, but leans forward. Out of under her shirt, she produces a hot water bottle. She passes it to me. "Will you hold it a second?" she asks. I frown. "Back pain? Again?" I ask her. She shrugs. "I have it every day, Christian. I couldn't even get my leggings on this morning." Suddenly, she gapes, blushing and covering her mouth. "Who helped you?" I ask her.

She shakes her head. Mia leans onto Ana's shoulder and Ana hugs her. "Everything will be okay." Mia hugs Ana back and Ana kisses her forehead. I look to the right and I see Mom coming from that side. She waves at me. I wave back. I look to the left and I suddenly see my Aunt Chloe storming over with my uncle behind me. Oh Christ. Mom reaches me first and I hug her. "Thank you for being here, Mom." She rubs my back as she hugs me. "That's okay." Mom reaches over to comfort Mia, and she makes small conversation with Ana. Chloe approaches with Tom.

"Aunt Chloe, with all due respect, what are you doing here? You don't even know Austin." Chloe scoffs. "Gracie promised me lunch. But she didn't come home, and she wasn't at the hospital. Some nurse told me she was here." My eyes widen. "Oh, it's the gold-digger." Chloe says. "Listen, Aunt Chloe. If you're not here to support Mia, or wait for Austin to wake up, then you shouldn't be here. And that bitter mouth of yours can shut the fuck up about my wife. My wife is the most amazing person I've known, and all my family know that she's not here to sponge off my fucking money. So you either stay, and support Mia, or you can take your husband with you and get the fuck out!" I bellow. I don't even care about who's watching.

Chloe's brow turns into a massive frown. "Gracie! Tell your 'son' to stop speaking to me like this. It's extremely rude!" Mom snorts. "My son being adopted doesn't mean he's not my son. He can speak however he wants to you, bitch. I'm not having anyone call my daughter in law a gold digger, or show no sympathy for my own daughter who's going through a difficult time right now." Mom says. Ana's eyes widen and so do Mia's. "Chloe, would you like my security to escort you out… or do you know the way? You seem to be disturbing some people with your screeching." Aunt Chloe's face turns bright red and angry. She storms off, but Tom stays behind. "I'm sorry for her. I really am." He says. I scoff.

Who knew, Grace could be so… feisty? She took that Chloe woman down. Christian kneels in front of me. "Are you tired?" he asks me. I shake my head. "Do you want some tea? I can go get you some from the machine." I shake my head frantically. "Hospital tea is disgusting." I say. Christian bursts into laughter. "I'm glad you've been accustomed to the rich life." My eyebrows rise and I feel my stomach gurgle. Christian looks at me and frowns. "You're hungry? Why didn't you say?" I shrug. "I'm here for Mia, not for food. Besides, I'm not even that hungry." I lie. I am hungry. Blip needs to be fed. He looks at me disapprovingly. "Ana, if you're hungry, you need to be fed." I roll my eyes at him. He sighs at me. "You're in trouble for that." I roll my eyes again, and I giggle.

I turn to Mia, who is twirling her fingers around. "Do you want a drink?" I ask her. She clears her throat. "Water?" she says. "I'll get you some." Christian says at the same time as me. "Stay seated, baby." He says. Mia immediately turns to me and gives me a tight hug. "Thank you so much for being here for me." She says, crying quietly. I stroke her back as she cries. "Shhh. Mia, everything will be okay. Austin's a strong man. He can look after himself." I comfort her as she cries. "You really are such an awesome friend. No, sister." She says. I dab at her eyes again with a tissue and Christian comes back with some water, for Mia.

He passes me a bottle of VitaminWater and I smile gratefully. "Thank you." Mia and I say at the same time. I hadn't noticed that Grace had left in the first place but when she coems flustering over to us with Dr Delaware my face beamed. "Mia, Austin's okay!" Grace says. Mia chokes on her water and Christian pats her back. "He is?" She coughs. "Yes. He's suffered a nasty bang on the head, in which will cause concussion. He's still unconscious, and had broken his ankle too. He got it stuck somewhere in the car and he broke it when he tried to move it. Austin's also had a few piece of glass to his head, but they're not deep enough to cause serious harm. He was lucky he didn't bang his lungs too. He'll be in a unconscious state for a few days." Mia sags with relief and she hugs Christian.

"Can I see him?" Mia asks hopefully. Dr Delaware shakes her head. "He's just gone into casting. They'll move him from the ER in a little while, and once all checks have been made, IV drips and medication shots are all done, visitors can go in for a little while." Mia sighs. "It won't be too long now, Mia." Grace says. Mia nods.

About an hour later, I was told that I was allowed to go and see Austin. When I walked into his room, my whole body almost collapsed. He had a massive bandage around his head, several plasters where his face was and cuts along his arms too. His ankle was lifted, and hanging from the ceiling. It pained me to see him like that. I sat right by his face, stroking the stubble that was forming. "Austin, I'm so sorry this happened to you. It should have happened to the other guy that was driving. I hate to see you like this. I know you're not going to wake up. But you need to know I'm here." I say gently taking his hand and squeezing it.

I kiss the back of his hand and his cheek too. Tears are running down my face. "I love you," I whisper. "I love you, baby. I'll be right here when you wake up. When you start to get better. I'll always be right here." Mom walks into the room. "Honey, maybe you should just talk to him. Let him know you're here. You can tell him everything and anything." I nod at my Mom. Mom kisses my forehead and then walks out of the room again. "I can tell you something. I handed in all my projects and got an A+. Cooking, and business. I guess all the work paid off. I know you're secretly saying well done, like you always do when I do something good. I love you."

Ana gently knocks on the door and walks into the room. She sits next to me and puts an arm around me. "Maybe you should talk to him too," I say to her. She nods. "Hi, Austin. I'm sorry this happened to you. You need to know that Mia is here. She's going to be here every day. She'll tell you stories and make you happy, inside your head. She'll be here when you wake up. I hope you get better soon and come back to all of us." Ana says, holding my hand. I'm crying and I sob into her shoulder. "Stop, Mia. Austin wouldn't want to see you like this." I nod and wipe away my tears.

"Mia, collectively, we've been here for about 6 hours, just waiting to see Austin. Visiting time isn't very long. They'll make us leave in a little while. Have you said what you need to say?" Ana say soothingly. I shake my head. "I don't want to leave him by himself," I whisper. Ana rubs my shoulder soothingly. "He'll be fine, Mia. Besides, all these hot women doctors and nurses around him? He'll be in 7th heaven!" Ana says. I giggle a little. Christian comes in. "Visiting time is over in 5 minutes. They're strict about it here. We're gonna get some dinner, Mia. Do you want to come?" I shake my head. I'm exhausted. "I think I'm just gonna go home. Do you mind dropping me off?"

I look at Ana who's sharing a glance with Christian. "How about you come home with us?" Christian nods at Ana. "And we won't go out to dinner. If Gail's gone off duty I'll find something in the kitchen to heat up. You can stay in a spare room, and borrow my clothes. My before-pregnant clothes." She smirks. I shrug. "That'd be nice, thank you." Christian walks over to me and hugs my back. "You're my babygirl. You're welcome to stay anytime. Let's go now before the nurses start shouting."

APOV

Arriving home at about 8:30pm, Gail wasn't in the kitchen. I thought it would be rude to look for her as it was so late. I raided the freezer for food. I found the Bolognese sauce she made all the time as it was one of my favourites, I heated it up and I found a packet of spaghetti in the cupboard. I heated it up in a massive pan of water until I felt someone's arms around my waist. "Ah!" I yelp. "I didn't mean to scare you, baby. But you're barefoot and pregnant, and in my kitchen." He says. I smile. "Where's Mia?" I ask. He clears his throat. "She's in the shower. I let her to your wardrobe. I hope you don't mind." I shake my head. "You don't mind that I asked her here, do you?" I ask Christian. He shakes his head.

"Ana, this is my sister we're talking about." I stir the spaghetti and check if it's softened but it hasn't, not as much as I want it to anyway. I turn back to Christian, and I rub my hands under his open suit jacket, through his shirt. My hands hook around his neck and I slowly loosen it. I finally notice he's wearing his grey one. "Grey?" I ask. He shrugs. I bring my mouth up to his and he kisses me gently. I gently tug his jacket off. "No business calls, not when your sister is here. Please." I ask. He nods in agreement, and I go back to cooking. I get a colander and put it in the sink. I grab the pan of hot water and pasta, but Christian stops me. "That's hot. You'll burn yourself. Let me."

I widen my eyes at him. "Okay, what you have to do is-" I start. "Ana, I know what to do." I burst into laughter and have to hold onto the counter to keep myself steady. Mia walks downstairs and stops when she sees me in tears laughing. "What's going on?" she asks. I clear my throat to stop laughing. "Nothing," I say. "Have a seat. I'm dishing dinner up. Spaghetti okay for you? It won't be as nice as yours though." Mia smiles, and sits down. "Wine?" Christian offers. Mia probably nods because Christian takes a chilled bottle out.

CPOV

"Did you put Mia to bed?" Ana asks me. I nod. I climb into bed next to her and she immediately curls closer to me. "You know, I just want to thank you for being so fucking amazing today, Ana. You really looked after my baby sister for me and that was… it was so perfect of you. I love you." I say to Ana. "I love you too," she says back, smiling. My hand reaches down to her baby bump and I rub it. She suddenly climbs on top of me and leans down to kiss me. "I want you," she whispers in my ear, rubbing her hands through my hair and gently tugging at it.

"I need you," I whisper back. My hands roam over her body and her breasts. She gasps at every touch. "Mmm," she groans. I strip her of her t-shirt and her bra, my hands staying on her breasts, gently thumbing her nipples. "That feels good," she breathes. Her hands tug at the waistband of my pyjama bottoms and I wriggle them off with Ana sat on top of me. I'm rock hard, hard as steel. It's almost painful. "Ana, I really need to be inside of you." I say, strained in her ear. "Yes, please," she moans.

I rip off her panties and line up with her. I push her down onto me and she moans ever so loudly. Her head rests on my shoulder gently and she sighs. "Relax. I'll do the work." I lift her body up and thrust slowly inside of her. I can feel her walls heating up, and tightening around me. I thrust a little harder, earning the most gorgeous sexual cries from Ana. "Jesus," she breathes. "I feel it too," I say back to her. Her fingers scratch hard on my back. "Ana, that feels so good." My thrusts become harder and faster and her cries become louder. "Oh God!" she cries. I press her body closer to me and her body shakes, her insides tightening and her head thrown back, her long hair tickling my legs as I thrust up inside her. "Christian," she moans. "God, how close are you?" I ask her.

She cries out. "I'm… Oh my God! Right there!" she cries. I increase the speed and intensity of my thrusts and I feel her tighten around me, and it feels too good. Her eyes roll back and she cries out my name. "Christian!" she shouts as she orgasms, her nails scraping my back ever so hardly and I pour myself into her. "Ana, oh… Ana!" I groan as I come inside of her. She flops right on top of me and my lips meet with hers for a lengthy kiss, until we are both gasping for breath. "You're amazing," I say to my gorgeous wife. "I need to sleep now," she says. I chuckle, settling on my pillow so she can lay her head onto my chest.

"I love you, and your cunt too," I say to her. She gasps. "Nope, that couldn't have turned me on again, could it?" she feigns shock in her voice. "You're tired. Sleep." I demand. She does as she's told, falling asleep right on my chest.

APOV

I wake up at 2am, exhausted having only got about 4 hours sleep. I go to the bathroom with some more panties and pee. I get dressed in Christian's t-shirt, with no bra to go down and get a drink. As I walk down the hallway, I hear sobbing. It's Mia. I knock on her door gently and the sobbing stops. I open the door gently to find Mia sitting up, the lights dimmed and sobbing, and tissues all over the place. "Oh, honey." I say. She sobs a little and I quickly get onto the bed and hug her tightly. "Shhh." I soothe. "I'm scared something is going to happen to Austin when he's unconscious. Or what if the driver that hit him wasn't sleepy, or drunk? What if he was one of the bad guys that wanted to hurt you and me?"

I pull her close to me and I let her cry all over Christian's t-shirt. I rub her shoulder as she cries. "I'm sure Christian will never let anything like that happen again. Don't be silly." I simply let her cry into my shoulder until she's all cried out and she falls asleep. It takes me a little while to fall asleep with her literally on top of me. She didn't fall asleep until about 4am and it took my 2 hours to comfort her and I barely got any sleep. It didn't matter though. As long as she was okay.

At about 9am, I wake up again but I knew that Mia wasn't going to wake up until about an hour after. I took this time to have a quick wash. It was weird to find Christian still asleep as well. He must be going into work at noon. I walk out feeling very refreshed, when I noticed the weather outside. It's march, and it's cold. I change out of my shirt for a sweater and I manage to put my leggings on by myself this morning.

I make my way downstairs to make some breakfast, when Gail greeted me. "Good morning," I say. "Good morning, Ana. How was your sleep?" she asks me. I rub at my eye bags. "Fitful. I actually spent most of the night in a spare room with Mia." She smiles sympathetically. "I need to make some eggs and bacon for Mia. Maybe a slice of toast too." I say. "I've got the bacon. I can do eggs as well, if you wish." I shake my head. I want to do something. "I'll make eggs. I'll do toast too." I quickly make the eggs and press a slice of bread into the toaster. "Orange juice?" Gail asks. I nod. I butter the toast and put that on a smaller plate. I hadn't noticed before but Gail had dished up bacon too.

I put all of this on a tray and take it upstairs into Mia's room. She looked like she had just woken up. "Hey. I made you some breakfast." I say. Her eyes widen. "Really?" I nod. I switch the TV on too and pass her the tray of foods. She smiles. "Thank you so much," she says quietly. I pass her the remote too. "I'll leave you to eat." I leave the room and walk back into my bedroom. I crawl under the covers and feel Christian's arms around me. "Why are you dressed, but back in bed; baby?" he asks curiously. I moan and wave him away. "Why are you so tired?" He asks me. "I woke up, and you were gone." He says.

"I slept in Mia's bed. I woke up at 2am, and I needed a drink. She was crying. I comforted her until 4am. I barely slept. I made her breakfast." He sighs and kisses my shoulder. "You need to stop straining yourself. Gail could have made Mia breakfast. You need rest, Ana." I knew he was right. I'd been so worried about Mia, I hadn't really been caring about myself. I moan and my body goes limp against the mattress, falling asleep on the bed.

MPOV

When Ana finally woke up, I had helped Gail make some lunch for her. I knew she didn't eat breakfast. She'd been up half the night with me, comforting me and making sure I was okay. We ate together. "Ana, thank you so much for being there for me. I can't even begin to say how grateful I am." Ana smiles warmly at me and I hug her. Ana checks the time on her watch. "It's 1:30. By the time we get to the hospital.. it'll be around 3pm. The right visiting time. We can stay there until about last night's time and you can stay here again if you want." Ana says. I shake my head.

"I think I'll be alright by myself at home. Thank you so much for having me though, Ana." She smiles again. I help her stand up. "Okay. Let's go to the hospital." She says.
