A/N alright guys. It's a new chapter so you know what that means. It's time for another top 5 list.
5. Blaziken- Blaziken was the first Hoenn pokemon I remember seeing in the anime. The episode I'm talking about is Harrison vs Ash.
4. Aggron- I love this guy. He's a hulking beast that comes from a cute and tiny Aron. Not to mention it's awesome move pool and it's crazy high defense it gets from mega evolving.
3. Torkoal- I really love Torkoal mostly because of Ash's Torkoal from the anime. How he's always crying is hilarous to me.
2. Crawdaunt- Crawdaunt on this list only because he's the the very first shiny I ever caught (not including the Red Gyarados, the shiny Beldum, and the shiny Dratini and Gible you can get in Black 2 and White 2)
1. Rayquaza- Rayquaza needs no reasoning he is the best. Nuff said.
"Alright guys. Just because we made it past the exhibition round doesn't mean we can start slacking off." May was saying to all of her pokemon.
She knew that the upcoming battles would most likely be far stronger then any she had done before.
All of her pokemon responded by saying their name and nodding in agreement.
"Now from what I've heard, we're going to be doing two on two battles, and if we make it to the finals it'll be a four on four battle. So you guys know what that means right?" May asked.
"Swellow!" May's newly evolved pokemon said.
"Thats right. We're going to be training hard." May said with a nod.
"Nice speech." May heard a voice say from behind her.
May spun around and saw Brendan, Alex, and Wally standing there.
"Well I want to make sure my pokemon are ready." May said.
"Don't get me wrong it's a great idea to do some extra training before the tournament." Brendan said.
"He's right." Wally said.
"Well I have an idea." Alex said.
"No." Wally, Brendan, and May said instantly.
"Hey! You don't even know what it is!" Alex protested.
"Alex your last great idea was to insult everyone in the battle tent and made them hate us." Wally said.
"Yes and wasn't it a good challenge." Alex countered.
"She does have a point." Brendan nodded.
May groaned and said "It was still a lot more dangerous then I would've like to do. But fine Alex, what's your idea?"
"A double battle. You and scar face against me and grass head." Alex suggested.
"Don't call me that." Brendan said before brushing his hand over head head band where his scars were.
"Ease up scar head it's a joke." Alex countered.
Before Brendan could get angry Wally stepped in and said "I think that's a great idea. I'll need all the help I can get."
"Don't say that Wally, you did great in the exhibition match." May said.
"She's right. You wouldn't have made it if you weren't strong enough." Brendan said.
"Nah you could really use some help. But that's fine to me so let's all work together and try to help each other out. So what do you two say?" Alex asked and ignored the looks she got from Brendan and May.
"Well I'm in if you are May." Brendan said.
"Ok sure. Let's do this!" May said eagerly.
Suddenly all of May's pokemon rushed towards her and started clamoring, most likely trying to be the one she would pick.
"Alright down guys down!" May said with a giggle.
"Ron! Ron! Aron!" May's steel/rock type said jumping up and down repeatedly.
"Might! Mightyena!" the dark type barked.
"Com! Combusken!" Combusken said before doing two practice kicks.
"Actually guys I think I'm going to go with some girl power." May said as she picked up her Ralts who was really happy.
"Ralts!" her little pokemon said happily.
"yeah right. You don't know nothing bout girl power. Our whole team is girl power and we'll take you down." Alex said confidentially.
"Alex I'm a boy you do know that right." Wally said sighing.
"Shut it sister and let's kick some ass." Alex said laughing.
"Brendan? What about you?" May asked.
Does this girl even realize how rude she being to him? Though to be honest it's pretty obvious that she gets way to much of an enjoyment out of all this.
She picks on everyone else, be it strangers or May and myself, but she tends to pick on Wally the most.
Hold on. Could it be that she's actually got a crush on him and that's why she picks on him the most?
"Um hello earth to Brendan!" May said waving her hand in front of his face.
"Huh oh May what did you ask." Brendan asked focusing on May again.
"I asked what Pokemon are you using?" May said with a sigh.
"Think I'll go with someone they haven't seen before." Brendan said before releasing his Breloom.
"Breloom!" his pokemon said.
"I didn't know you had a Breloom Brendan." Wally said.
"Well let's see how you two deal against my Skorupi!" Alex said before releasing the pale purple pokemon she'd briefly used before.
"Slorupi." it said before snapping it's claws at Breloom and Ralts.
"Where did you catch that thing anyway?" May asked.
"Safari zone in Sinnoh. My brother took me there for my birthday last year and he caught me this little cutie." Alex said rubbing Skorupi's back.
"Skor!" the pokemon said happily.
The three of them couldn't help but laugh which annoyed Alex "what's so funny?"
"My apologies. It's just that your so different when your around your pokemon." Brendan said.
"And sometimes when your around Wally." May teased.
"I could say the same thing about you and scar face." Alex countered with her cheeks turning pale.
"I don't know what your talking about." May said her cheeks turning the same color as Alex's.
"Anyway let's kick some butt little cutie." Alex said happily.
Everyone then just simple continued to stare at her.
"So the mainly Alex has a femine side to her." May said.
"How strange and bizzare" Brandon said laughing a bit.
"I don't get the big deal. I mean I've seen Alex acting this way before." Wally said with a shrug.
"Don't go telling them that Grasshead. It's embarassing. Anyway who cares about any of that let's just get to the battle." Alex said
"Alright. I think I'll go with Trapinch." Wally said and releasing his ground type.
"Trap!" the ground type said before opening it's big mouth and then snapping it closed.
One of Wally's other pokeballs opened up and out came his own Ralts.
"You can do it! Beat these guys!" he cheered for Ralts.
"Your cheering for the wrong team moron." Skorupi said.
"Oh leave him be. If he wants to cheer for the other team let him." she defended.
"Yeah!" he said before sticking his tongue at Skorupi.
"Stick that tongue out again and you'll see what I can really do with these things traitor." Skorupi said before snapping his pincers.
"Leave him alone before I bulldoze you." Trapinch defended his friend.
"Fine whatever." Skorupi said.
"Looks like we've got our own cheerleader." May said.
"Betrayed by my own pokemon." Wally said with a smile.
"Well Pokemon tend to want to support their own kind. It's actually a normal reaction for Pokemon to do that." Brendan said.
"He's still a rotten little traitor." Alex said.
"Ralts!" Wally's Ralts said and stuck his tongue at Alex.
"Now now cut it some slack please" Wally said as a sweatdrop appeared on his head.
"Alright then if no one minds I'll go first. Breloom use seed bomb on Trapinch." Brendan said.
"Dodge it with dig!" Wally said.
Breloom held his hand out in front of himself and formed a large green seed and hurled it at Trapinch who easily avoided it by digging underground.
"Now come up and use bite on Breloom!" Wally said.
Before Brendan could say anything, the ground around Breloom's feet broke and Trapinch shot up and bit down on Breloom's arm.
"Ralts throw Trapinch off Breloom with confusion!"
"Skorupi let's hit Ralts with cross poison!" Alex said.
"Oh no Ralts teleport quick!" May said.
Skorupi leapt towards Ralts, his front claws glowing purple and tried to hit Ralts with an X slash but she quickly teleported out of the way.
"Breloom hit Trapinch with brick break." Brendan said.
Breloom slammed the arm with Trapinch attached on the ground which caused the ground type to weaken it's grip and allowed Breloom to pull his arm free.
"Ok Skorupi use aerial ace on Breloom!" Alex said.
"Hit Skorupi with confusion!" May said.
With surprising speed Skorupi rushed towards Breloom but right before the pale purple pokemon could hit him, he was sent flying back.
Breloom let out a sigh of relief and looked at Ralts "Loom."
"Ralts." she replied with a smile.
"Trapinch hit them with rock tomb!" Wally said.
Trapinch opened his mouth as wide as he could and a gigantic boulder appeared. Trapinch flung the huge boulder at Ralts and Breloom.
"Breloom smash that boulder with focus punch." Brendan said.
Breloom leapt straight at the boulder with his fist glowing, like it was charging up, and then with one powerful punch, Breloom shattered the boulder.
The boulder exploded and rained small shards all over the field.
"Impressive." Alex admitted.
"You've seen nothing yet." Brendan said.
"Well let's see about that. Skorupi use aerial ace." Alex said.
"Blast it with confusion Ralts!" May said.
"Trapinch use rock tomb again!" Wally said.
Trapinch formed a smaller boulder and flung it at Ralts who was forced to teleport and couldn't prevent Skorupi from hitting Breloom from an extremely effective move.
Skorupi swung his pincer into Breloom who cried out and was sent flying.
"You ok Breloom?" Brendan asked, showing concern for the first time in the match.
Breloom got back to his feet but it was obvious that the aerial ace took off a large chunk of his health.
"Alright Breloom pick up the rock shards and fling them back." Brendan said.
Breloom quickly picked up several rock shards and then flung them back at Skorupi rapidly.
"Skor! Skor! Skor! Skor!" Skorupi grunted with each hit.
"Trapinch stop Breloom with bite!" Wally said.
"Hit Breloom now." Brendan said.
Breloom stopped flinging rock shards at Skorupi and started throwing them at Trapinch.
Trapinch easily absorbed the damage and kept rushing forward and then opened his mouth and his teeth started shone green and bit down on Breloom's other arm.
"Breloom!"
"Why did that cause more damage then bite?" Wally asked.
"Well it looks like grass heads big mouth pokemon learned bug bite." Alex said.
"Really? That's great! Now throw Breloom into the air!" Wally said.
"Hit Breloom in the air with pin missile!" Alex said.
Trapinch jerked his head and flung Breloom into the air.
"Skorupi!" the pale purple pokemon said before launching dozens of purple needles from his claws that flew right at Breloom.
"Ralts get up there and save Breloom!" May said.
Ralts teleported up to where Breloom was and then grabbed his arm and teleported him out of the pin missiles way.
"Ok now let's go on the attack. Ralts blast Skorupi with confusion!" May said.
"Breloom hit Trapinch with seed bomb!" Brendan said.
Ralts eyes shone pink for a moment before Skorupi was blasted backwards and cried out in pain "Skor!"
Breloom on the other hand formed a green seed in his hands and hurled it at Trapinch who also was blasted backwards by the super effective move.
"Well that could be it." Brendan said.
"Aerial ace!" Alex said.
Skorupi rushed Breloom before anyone could say anything and slashed him with his claws before rushing back to safe distance.
"Loom." Breloom said holding his side in pain.
"Once we take down the strong one. The little girl shouldn't be a problem." Skorupi said.
"And what's that suppose to mean?!" Ralts asked with her hands on her hips.
"It means your the weak on in the battle." Skorupi said.
"Says who? Some disgusting bug like you!" Ralts shouted.
"I hate to say it but he's right. You are the weakest one here." Trapinch said.
"Weak? Well how's this for weak!" she shouted.
"RALTS!" May's pokemon shouted at the top of her lungs.
A shock wave flew from Ralts mouth which hit both Trapinch and Skorupi and sent them flying.
"What was that?" May asked.
"Hyper voice, and a powerful one." Brendan said looking impressed.
"Ralts." the small pokemon said before falling to her knees.
Wally's Ralts saw what May's Ralts did and was worried when he saw her fall to her knees.
"Are you ok?" he asked.
"That... took more... out of me... then I thought." she panted.
"Ralts are you ok? Brendan what happened?" May asked.
"Hyper voice is a powerful move. I don't think a pokemon as young as Ralts can use it without it draining a lot of her energy." Brendan said.
"So it's like when Combusken was still a Torchic and couldn't use aerial ace with out increasing his speed?" May asked.
"Exactly. Except hyper voice is more powerful. I don't think Ralts will be able to use it without draining her stamina until she's fully evolved." Brendan said.
"Fascinating, but save the teaching course for later scar face. Now Skorupi hit Ralts with cross poison!" Alex said.
"Mach punch Breloom!" Brendan said.
Breloom quickly shot forward and hit Skorupi before he could hit the downed Ralts.
"Trapinch bug bite!" Wally said.
"Drain punch!" Brendan said.
Breloom quickly swung around and slammed his fist into Trapinch's face which drained some of the ground types health and healed Breloom.
"Aerial ace!" Alex said.
Skorupi shot towards Breloom and swung both claws before the grass/fighting type could react and cried out and fell to his knees.
"Finish up with cross poison!" Alex said.
Skorupi's claws shone a sickly purple and rushed towards Breloom but before he could slash him he was thrown away.
And then all eyes turned to Ralts.
"Yeah! Woo Hoo!" he cheered.
"That a girl Ralts! Now let's try and get some stamina back. Use drain kiss on Trapinch!" May said.
Ralts teleported beside Trapinch and placed her lips to Trapinch's huge face and kissed it.
Pink energy flew from Trapinch and was absorbed by Ralts who looked a little better now.
"Bite Ralts!" Wally said but she quickly teleported away and left Trapinch to bite nothing but air.
"Breloom hit Trapinch with focus punch." Brendan said.
Breloom quickly charged up and swung and then hit Trapinch and sent him flying to Wally's feet.
"Trap." Trapinch said before falling unconscious.
"Now blast Skorupi with confusion!" May said.
Ralts eyes shone pink and then Skorupi was thrown backwards and landed at Alex's feet.
"Yes!" May cheered and hugged Brendan before she knew what she was doing.
Brendan didn't think before he wrapped his arms around her waist and hugged her back.
"Thats so beautiful. I think I may burst out into song." Alex said with a fake sniffle.
May and Brendan instantly broke apart and stepped away from each other, their cheeks bright red.
"You guys were great." Wally said.
"Don't sell yourself short Wally." Brendan said.
"Yeah! You guys were both great. I was surprised at the teamwork you guys had." May said.
"Ralts!" May's pokemon said wanting some attention too.
"Oh of course you were amazing too. I don't think we could have won if it wasn't for your hyper voice." May said before snuggling with her Ralts.
"As usual Breloom you were spectacular." Brendan said before fist bumping his pokemon.
"Loom." Breloom said, holding his hands to his hips proudly.
"Skorupi return." Alex said as she brought back her Skorupi and turned to walk away.
"Hey um Alex were are you going." Wally asked.
"To be by myself for a bit." Alex said walking away.
"Hey um if your upset I'm sorry about costing us the match." Wally said as he walked up but then got slightly slapped in the face.
"If you have time to apologize then train. It's that simple. I won't make any excuses and don't go crying and taking the blame. We lost because of one reason. We were both too weak. It's as simple as that." Anyway I don't blame you for the lose but I hit you because you need to learn to stop blaming yourself so much. Take action and don't always be the one to take the blame." Alex said with a serious tone.
"Oh right Wally said blushing as she walked away.
Alex kept walking until she heard a voice.
"So for one of your first tag battles I'd say that went well. You and grass head really were in sync. Almost like a couple." Earnest said with a small laugh.
"Ugh are you seriously making that joke again." Alex said and turned to see her brother with his Eevee on his shoulder.
"Well I'm just saying that there's a lot of stuff that's good for you. I mean it's good to battle though truth be told a lot of it was you be reckless." Earnest said calmly.
"I know okay. Do you want me to admit that I held grasshead back. The moron took the blame for the lost when in reality I was the one who didn't know how to be a good team player." Alex said.
"Actually I find the reason of your defeat to be from that miracle way of learning a new move. Talk about lucky but then again I certainly know a girl who had luck save her a million times." Earnest said.
"Geese why don't you just marry the girl." Alex said rolling her eyes.
"She's far to annoying and carefree for my taste. That and there's no way I'd want to mess with her boyfriend." Earnest said.
"Yea. Hey um you think Wally has someone like that guy in Sinnoh." Alex asked blushing.
"Why do you ask?" Earnest asked with a raised eye brow$
"… NO reason. It's not like I give a damn. He's just so lame I couldn't even picture him with a girl. I mean I swear when I first me him I mistook him as a girl. I swear you could put him in a dress and no one would know the difference." Alex said.
"Well if he is so lame then why do you still have that froakie toy in your bag." Earnest said laughing.
"… None of your business. Now I have a tournament to prepare for." Alex said.
"Hey Alex before you go I just wanna check something. You don't need to win the tournament do you?" Earnest asked.
"I suppose not. I could easily win eight badges. Why?" she asked.
"Just wondering if there was any need to beat the people who actually have to win." Earnest said.
Alex responded by tossing him two Pokeballs.
"Be sure to train Sableye and Frodiger for me while I'm in this thing. AS for the others if they can't beat my Scorpi and my Growlithe then they don't deserve to win the tournament. But that's all the exceptions I intend to give them." Alex said.
"Well how kind of you." Earnest said.
"Sorry but it's my style. Later bro and have a good day." Alex said walking off.
"Geese you don't even want Frodiger. Man talk about recless. At least it could help you out with protien."
"I'm fine look just train them for me please while I'm busy." Alex said.
"Okay but on one condition. You have to do that thing you would do with your Froakie whenever it used an attack to change into a ghost type when you were a little girl." Earnest said laughing.
"NO way that's so embarrassing you jerk!" Alex said angrily.
"Then I cant help. You could always just use your Froakie doll to re enact it. It is adorable you know." Earnest said laughing..
"Ugh fine then you idiot. I swear why do big brothers love humiliating there little sisters." Alex said.
"It's a perk of the job" Earnest said laughing as Alex pulled out her Froakie from her bag.
"Fine then Froakie use LICk attack. Now were going ghost." Alex said as her and her Froakie doll moved and made a weird stance.
"How cute" Earnest said.
"Ugh' Alex overheard someone say as she slowly turned her head and saw Wally standing there.
"Um Hey Alex. Um good to see you. Anyway we were going to get some lunch and wondering if you wanted to come. But if your busy hanging with your brother that's fine" Wally said obviously trying not to laugh.
Truth be told he thought that while Alex looked funny doing that, she also looked cute but he wasn't gonna admit that.
"Ugh. Stupid brother. Fine now train my Pokemon like you promised. I'm going to eat on my own. And grass head if you tell anyone your dead." Alex screamed as she stormed off.
"She's probably serious about that. Though don't worry I recorded it and I'll send you the video." Earnest said.
"Ugh thanks I guess." Wally said completely embarrassed.
"Anyway time to go Mr. Grass Head as my sister calls you. Oh and she's not mad at you, she just got embarrassed trust me." Earnest said.
"You knew I had just arrived didn't you." Wally said.
"I wouldn't have made her imitate her favorite childhood TV show if I didn't. By the way how long were you here?:" Earnest asked.
"I saw her ask you to train some guys but that was it" Wally said.
"I see well then latter" Earnes said.
:Yea um have a good day sir" Wally said walking off.
"You too. Damn she can be a handful. Still for her to have a crush on such a strange kid well it surprised me but I suppose women are strange that way.
"Well Eevee I guess we should go and train these guys." Earnest said.
"Vee." Eevee said in agreement.
A/N if anyone's seen Danny Phantom then maybe you can see the similarity between Ralts Hyper Voice and Danny's Ghostly Wail.
For anyone who doesn't know or for anyone who cares, in the show the Ghostly Wail was Danny's most powerful attack but whenever he used it he would be drained so that's why I made hyper voice like that.
I know hyper voice isn't an amazing attack in the game but it's my story so deal with it.
Now I hope you like how I made hyper voice a double edged sword. Now next time we're starting the tournament and we'll begin with May then go do Alex, Brendan, and then Wally.
