Lovely Spell
Sasuke had always liked music. He had a collection of music larger than Naruto's movie collection. Losing his sight only increased his love for sounds. He was constantly listening to music now, while Naruto watched television, while he did dishes, folded clothes, and simply relaxed. Where before he would have been reading, he most often listened to music now.
Naruto realized that quickly and made some changes to their bedroom. There was a state of the art surround sound installed as soon as they could afford it. He would play music for Sasuke at night and some days when he had the time off he'd spend the day in bed with Sasuke simply listening to playlists Sasuke had previously put together or sharing new ones he'd put together at work during lunch just for Sasuke.
Today was one of those days. Sasuke laid on his back with his hands by his sides. The bed was large and comfortable. It was even better than the one in their old apartment. Sasuke sighed as he felt the dip in the mattress as Naruto sat down on the bed and mimicked his position. Naruto closed his eyes to listen to the song as he started it.

Sasuke smiled as Naruto took his hand at the last line. It was Naruto's turn to share his playlist and that was the first song.

Naruto turned his head to the side and smiled when he saw Sasuke was smiling too. He saw Sasuke turn his head and although the other couldn't see him he faced him. Naruto sighed and reached out to stroke Sasuke's cheek.

Sasuke hummed along with the song. It was one of his favorites. "I don't really sing," he said though Naruto hadn't asked him to.
Naruto chuckled. "Yeah you do. I've heard you," he said teasingly and didn't let Sasuke deny it as he leaned forward to place a kiss on his lips. "You're really good at it too," he added.

"When have you heard me?" Sasuke asked as he reached for the remote to turn off the music. His thumb felt the buttons and he found the familiar square stop button.
Naruto took the remote back and started the song all over again. "I dunno," he lied.
Sasuke chuckled and reached for the remote again. "Talk, idiot," he said and stopped the song.
Naruto took the remote back, but didn't start up the song again. "I've always heard you. In the shower, you sing," Naruto said and shrugged. "During missions when you think you're far enough away from the rest of us, you sing. We've all heard you do it," he said as Sasuke slowly turned red. "And umm since we emptied the theatre and left it just for music in the old apartment, I uh could hear you through the door every time you thought you were alone," Naruto confessed.
Sasuke nodded. "Oh," he said and frowned. He didn't know his singing had ever been that obvious. "Okay," he said surprised to hear how often he'd been heard. He wasn't a bad singer at all, but he never liked being listened to.
Naruto turned the song back on and lowered the volume until it was just some background sound. "Sing it for me," he said quietly, as if afraid to startle Sasuke out of agreeing.
Sasuke looked away from Naruto and faced the ceiling. He smiled yet again and let the song get to the chorus before joining in.
"If heaven and hell decide that they both are satisfied," Sasuke whispered. His voice was rough and low, unlike the singer's. "And illuminate the no's on their vacancy signs." Sasuke turned on his side and smiled at Naruto, this time it was shy and a bit embarrassed, though he wasn't sure if the other were still facing him. "If there's no one beside you when your soul embarks, then I'll follow you into the dark," he sang and finished a little louder than he'd started.
Naruto touched his own chest. His heart was beating hard against his chest. "God," he exhaled and bit his bottom lip. Naruto didn't know how much Sasuke meant his words, but the way he sang them... Naruto moved until he could hold Sasuke in his arms, the song forgotten in the background. "Look at you," he whispered when he realized he wasn't the only one affected.
Sasuke closed his eyes and leaned his forehead against Naruto's chest. "Shut up," he said and inhaled a shuddering breath as he tried to keep the surprise tears back.
Naruto laughed and kissed the top of Sasuke's head. "Loving you is my greatest accomplishment," he said. "No, no- making you to love me back is," he corrected quickly.
Sasuke sniffled and started laughing. "Are you sure, Hokage?" he teased and looked up to brush his nose against Naruto's lightly.
"Oh yeah," Naruto realized belatedly that perhaps becoming Hokage should have been important too. "There's that, but that's different," Naruto said as he recalled his most recent ceremony, in which Sasuke did stand by his side just as he'd always dreamed.
Sasuke smirked. "My little idiot. I can't believe somebody put you in charge of all of us," he teased, changing the mood in the room.
"Yeah well, it was better this way. Tsunade is better suited to lead medical research," Naruto said vaguely.
"Hn," Sasuke knew it was at Naruto's insistence that Tsunade had made his case a top priority.
"Don't 'hn' me," Naruto reprimanded playfully. "So, that thing she was talking about," he said, but didn't finish.
"Yeah. It could work," Sasuke said more seriously. "I mean, in theory, but I wouldn't have my Sharingan," he added.
"What's the use of it now any way?" Naruto asked thinking that Sasuke was being stubborn in refusing a transplant.
Sasuke snorted and sat up. "Naruto," he started and sighed. "Tsunade was originally working on a technique to reverse damage to the eye from Sharingan overuse, a way to restore the Sharingan eye. Now that I've lost my vision, she switched up her research to something far more simple. She wants to exchange my eyes for working regular eyes, something that can be scavenged from a corpse," he said.
Naruto already knew all that. "Yeah okay and the problem is?" he asked.
"The problem is, that if I accept the transplant then I'll be giving up my Sharingan. It means that in the future if Tsunade finishes her research and comes up with a successful treatment for eye degeneration caused by overuse of eye techniques, I won't be able to benefit from it," he explained.
"Huh?" Naruto asked with a tilt of his head.
"Naruto, I know you aren't that stupid. Stop acting like it," Sasuke said sounding exasperated.
"I mean, I get it, but I don't get why that matters," Naruto said.
"Because being an Uchiha is all I am and without my eyes- without them, then what am I?" Sasuke finally dared say. In the past it might have been different. In the past he might have kept it inside, but not now. Things were different now. If he couldn't be himself and open to Naruto, then they didn't have something real.
"You're you," Naruto said and prepared to continue.
That was exactly what Sasuke was expecting to hear and yet to hear the words from Naruto it still made his heart stop. He knew there was more coming and he was waiting for the words to reassure his insecurities.
"You're Sasuke, my best friend, my boyfriend, my fiance, my lover, my everything. You're so much more than just an elite Konoha ninja, ANBU, Uchiha. You're so, so much more than your last name, Sasuke," Naruto said and pulled Sasuke towards him easily to kiss his cheek. "You won't even be an Uchiha for much longer," he whispered and kissed Sasuke's earlobe with a teasing smile. "Sasuke Uzumaki," he purred.
Sasuke chuckled. "Idiot, stop it," he said and pretended to pull away only to be pulled back. He leaned into Naruto and wiped at his eyes. "What if I can never be a ninja again?" he asked quietly.
Naruto pulled back for a second. "Then you can be something else. You're so good at everything you try. You could be anything you wanted!" Naruto replied and kissed the tip of Sauske's nose. "Anything you want, Kitten," he said and smiled sadly. "You can do anything," he said.
Sasuke smiled at Naruto's words. It was true. Sasuke had other interests. He liked to read. He had never tried writing, but if Jiraiya had found a publisher, he was sure he'd find one too. He also liked music. He could learn to play or write music. He'd also never tried that before. Sasuke took it into consideration, but if he were honest, he really loved being a ninja. And he was damn good at it too.
Naruto saw the dilemma before Sasuke spoke. "Hey," he started and paused. He wasn't sure if it was a good idea or not, but he said it anyway. "What if you only did one eye?" he asked.
Sasuke raised his eyebrows in surprise. "Like Kakashi?" he asked.
"Yeah yeah," Naruto said. "I mean you could regain some vision, though not depth perception, but still hold on to one Sharingan eye for the future, you know, in case Tsunade figures it out."
Sasuke didn't know if he could give even that up. "That's a good idea, Naruto. I'll think about it," he said. Could he give up his family's techniques for a chance to look upon Naruto again?
Sasuke leaned against Naruto as he considered it as well. "I've been adapting just fine," he added more to himself.
Naruto could admit that was correct. Sasuke got along in the new home after a few months of using a cane to get to know the place, the furniture, and every door and turn. He knew how to read on his own now. He could feel his way through the kitchen and cook for himself, though nothing too elaborate and most often than not something premade or prepackaged. Sasuke had been out on the town on his own and always made it back just fine, but that was more thanks to a dog Kiba had left behind as a tester. Sasuke didn't like the smell of dogs, so he'd returned him after only two weeks. He was also keener in his chakra sensing abilities. He always knew who was in the room now, without as much effort as before.
"The only thing I can't do is go on missions," Sasuke said as he thought the rest he was pretty good at.
Naruto leaned in and kissed Sasuke. "You don't have to go on missions anymore," he said, but knew it was pointless to remind him that his Hokage salary was very generous. He wouldn't insist.
Sasuke reached for the remote after pulling away from Naruto and started up the same song that Naruto had queued up. It was still low in the background. Sasuke smiled. He'd always loved that song. It distracted him for some time from the conversation they were having.
Naruto paused the music and refused to let Sasuke put it off. "So what are we talking about then?" he asked him.
"I'm not even sure," Sasuke replied. "I have a lot to think about," Sasuke finally said.
Naruto nodded. He understood. He nudged Sasuke with his nose. "Take your time. I'll always be here," Naruto promised. "I'll always be by your side."
Sasuke held Naruto close. "Me too, Naruto."
Sasuke spoke and Naruto did too.
"I'll follow you into the dark."
Sasuke was sitting in his favorite chair. He was listening to Naruto complain about his job and the amount of paperwork he had to work on before the next Chunin exams. He was staring straight ahead when Naruto paused.
"Oh and I think he made a pass at me again," Naruto mentioned mid story.
Sasuke sat up a little straighter. "Oh?" he asked trying to be aloof. "I don't care," he added and frowned when Naruto started laughing. Was he laughing at him? "What?"
Naruto finally stopped pacing the living room and sat down in front of Sasuke. He held the other's face between his hands and stared into the black and red eyes. "You say that, but your Sharingan is showing," he growled teasingly.
Sasuke frowned. He recalled Naruto having told him that he'd been able to activate it before. In the bathroom, when he'd first left the hospital, he'd been so angry at Naruto that his Sharingan had activated. "Naruto..."
"What?" Naruto asked with amusement still coloring his voice.
"Stare into my eyes," Sasuke said with cautious optimism.
Naruto didn't immediately catch on. He looked straight into Sasuke's eyes and gulped. "Ok," he said with some doubt in his voice.
Sasuke could still feel his chakra feeding his eyes, but without sight to focus how could he pull Naruto into his world?
"Sasuke, whatever you're doing stop," Naruto said and released Sasuke's face only for the other to reach out and grip his in his hands to keep him still. "Sasuke," Naruto warned.
Sasuke kept his grip on Naruto's cheeks, keeping him still. He could feel the wetness coming down his face. It was thick and the scent was easily identifiable. What harm could he cause now? He was blind already.
Naruto tried to pull away, but Sasuke refused to let go. "I'm scared," Naruto whispered.
Sasuke slowly released Naruto's face. "I'm sorry. I thought- maybe," he wiped at his eyes and face, smearing blood over his cheeks.
"Wait, wait. I got this," Naruto said and ran to the kitchen. He wet a napkin and returned to clean up Sasuke's face and hands. "Don't try it again. I don't like to see you hurt," Naruto said as he dabbed at the new bloody tears.
Sasuke nodded slowly. "I just wanted to see you again," Sasuke said as he sat down defeated.
Naruto sat with Sasuke and pulled him onto his lap. "I know, but not yet. You have to wait," Naruto said and took both of Sasuke's hands in his and led them to his chest. "Touch me instead," Naruto proposed, his complaining forgotten. "Touch me. Get to know me with your hands. Memorize my body," Naruto said and kissed at Sasuke's neck. He pulled Sasuke's shirt off and kissed his scarred skin and touched him everywhere he could reach. "Touch me," he insisted when Sasuke did nothing, but close his eyes and accept his touches.
Sasuke moved his hands from Naruto's chest and felt his broad shoulders. He felt up his neck and to his ears. Sasuke moved his head to the side to allow Naruto more access. "Please," he begged though he didn't know what he was asking for. His breathing grew shallow and quick paced as the thought formulated. "Please don't let me forget you," he said as he could only see Naruto now in his memories and as the days went by it seemed harder to remember the finer details of his best friend.
Naruto squeezed Sasuke close to him as he brought them down onto the couch. "I will light a fire in you that will burn my image to your heart," Naruto said.
Sasuke smiled. He recognized that line. Naruto had been reading the new book Sasuke had been obsessed with. He must have bought the paper copy. His smile didn't last long as Naruto's lips touched his. Sasuke exhaled and allowed his body to move against Naruto's and with him as they made love.
They had showered and moved to the bed, but once was never enough anymore.
"Fuck me," Sasuke begged against Naruto's sweaty skin. He tasted of salt and soap. Sasuke kissed up Naruto's chest and pushed his ass against Naruto's erection. "Fuck me," he said again and reached behind himself when Naruto didn't seem to move. He held Naruto in place as he sat down on him. "God!" Sasuke complained as he was stretched.
"You're still the hottest guy I've ever seen," Naruto said as he finally snapped out of his staring. "Ride me. I love it when you ride me," he said and though it was tempting to thrust upwards and into Sasuke, he knew better than to rush it. He reached out instead to stroke Sasuke steadily, coaxing his erection to return. "Get hard for me baby," Naruto urged and sat up.
Sasuke's legs trembled as he sat down completely on Naruto's lap. "I'm gonna come," Sasuke said surprised after a single bounce on Naruto. He held onto the other tightly, capturing Naruto's hand and his own erection between them. "Fuck, there!" Sasuke said though he was the one directing their actions. He dropped once more and clenched around Naruto as he came.
Naruto raised his dirtied hand and was debating between licking it clean or making Sasuke do it. He pressed two dirty fingers against Sasuke's lips.
Sasuke opened his mouth and didn't hesitate to deep throat Naruto's fingers and then lick them clean. "Naruto," Sasuke began, but didn't finish the thought.
"You want me to put them in?" Naruto asked and began to reach behind Sasuke.
"N-no," Sasuke said as he blushed. "In you," he said and turned his face down to hide his embarrassment. He pressed his forehead to Naruto's shoulder as he continued to move.
"Sasuke," Naruto grinned amused. "does my kitten want to top?" he asked with a tilt of his head.
Sasuke shook his head. "No," he lied. "I mean," he shrugged and slowed down his movement. "do you want me to?" he asked.
Naruto shrugged his shoulders. "I don't know. I've never really thought about it," he said. "I have, but I've never done anything about it," he corrected.
Sasuke licked his bottom lip and wiped the sweat forming on his top. "We could try," he said. "with the toy, if you prefer," he said, thinking Naruto might like something bigger than he could offer.
"I don't want a toy," Naruto said. "I want you," he said and laid back on the bed. "How?" he asked Sasuke.
Sasuke lifted himself off of Naruto and pushed his hands up Naruto's chest. "Turn around," he directed. "I'm going to prepare you," he said.
Naruto nodded and did as he was told. He was looking over his shoulder about to warn Sasuke that he might be ticklish, but Sasuke took the words from his mouth as the other licked him from his lower back to his balls.
Sasuke licked the same line repeatedly until he settled for the puckered hole. "Naruto," Sasuke moaned as he continued to lick him. He pointed his tongue and spread Naruto easily with his tongue. He fucked him for long minutes until Naruto was pushing back against his face.
"Ah, Sasuke!" Naruto groaned and reached under himself to jerk off. "Fuck," he shivered. He'd never known how good that could feel. He always enjoyed doing it to Sasuke because it made him fall apart, but having it done to himself was a whole different experience.
Sasuke pulled back and leaned up. He pressed himself against Naruto's hole and pressed slowly.
"Fuck me," Naruto said and pushed back against Sasuke as his body easily took the other inside.
Sasuke shook with anticipation. He remained still inside of Naruto for a few seconds before the other lost his calm and started rocking his body back and forth. Sasuke remained still, his hands on Naruto's hips for balance. He didn't have any words as Naruto did the work.
Naruto didn't know if he was too turned on for it to be any good for Sasuke. He was slamming hard against the other and jerking off. Naruto felt a shiver go down through his body as he came. He grunted and tried to keep quiet as he fell forward onto the bed. He turned his head over his shoulder. "Did you?" he asked Sasuke as he wasn't sure.
Sasuke shook his head. His eyes were closed and his mouth was open, gasping for breath. "Suck me off," Sasuke demanded. He felt around the bed for the thin blanket and with it he wiped himself clean. "Suck my dick," he said again.
Naruto was boneless. He reached for Sasuke and pulled his body over him. "Come," he said.
Sasuke moved as Naruto's hands were directing him to. He was sitting on Naruto's chest. "What are you-?" he asked as he was pressed into Naruto's waiting mouth. "Oh," Sasuke gasped.
Naruto moved Sasuke's hips with his hands, making him thrust into his mouth.
Sasuke got the hint easily. He reached for the headboard and gripped it with both hands as he fucked Naruto's mouth. "Put a finger in," Sasuke gasped with some difficulty.
Naruto pressed two inside and kept them still as Sasuke thrust into his mouth and then back away and onto his fingers.
Sasuke moved faster. It was impossibly arousing. "Fuck! Drink my come, baby," he whispered, more for his own benefit as he came into Naruto's mouth.
Naruto swallowed and pulled his fingers out of Sasuke. He guided the other to lay on his side and stared at the ceiling.
Sasuke placed his hands on his stomach as he breathed hard. "That was good," he said after a few minutes.
Naruto nodded. "Yeah," he agreed. "I think I like topping better though," he added a few seconds later.
Sasuke chuckled. "Yeah. I like it like that too," he said and rolled over onto his side.
Naruto turned on his side and stared at Sasuke. "Sometimes, when we're having sex," Naruto trailed off.
Sasuke remained silent, wanting Naruto to continue.
"I don't ever want to stop," Naruto said though it didn't sound like what he was about to say.
"Oh," Sasuke said. "It is pretty good sex," Sasuke replied.
"Is it? I mean, you've slept with tons of other people, right?" Naruto asked cautiously.
"I wouldn't say tons," Sasuke replied. "but a handful," he amended.
"Who? How was it? How'd you do it? Were you always bottom for others?" Naruto asked, his jealousy and curiosity obvious.
Sasuke wrinkled his nose. He didn't want to think about that. "You're my last, who cares who came before you?" he asked, trying to avoid the question.
Naruto squeezed Sasuke's thigh. "I care," he said. "were they good to you?"
Sasuke chuckled. "I mean, this is the best sex I've had. The rest don't matter," he stressed.
Naruto kept quiet for a moment and then it seemed like he reconsidered. "Sometimes, when we're having sex," he paused again and licked his dry lips. "It feels like we're the only ones in the world. The only ones that exist and I don't want to stop because it's the closest we can get to becoming one," Naruto finally said.
Sasuke smiled. "Idiot."
Naruto smiled back. "Bastard."
