Disclaimer: I don't own Ninjago

3 Weeks Later…

Cole slowly opened his eyes to see that he was in the medical bay of the Bounty. Cole sat up and looked down at his chest to see a scar was left over from Oroku's sword. Cole winced as he touched the wound. Cole got out of bed and wrapped himself in his blanket. He was still wearing his ninja pants, but he had no shirt on. Cole looked into the hallway to see no one, but then heard laughter and talking coming from the dinning room. Cole slowly made his way over there and saw his friends all enjoying a meal. No one noticed Cole, however.

"Hey!" Cole yelled.

Everyone stopped eating and turned their direction to Cole. They were all surprised to see him standing there and Jay dropped his glass.

"I just found out it's May. What the hell happened!?" Cole asked.

"COLE!" Everyone yelled in unison.

They all jumped from their seats and embraced Cole in a giant group hug.

"You're awake!"

"How are you!"

"We missed you so much!"

"What's the last thing you remember Cole?" Wu asked.

"Last thing I remember was getting stabbed in the chest with Oroku's sword. How exactly did I survive that?" Cole asked.

"You can thank our Master of Nature for that." Kai said as he wrapped his arm around Ivy.

"Ivy?" Cole asked.

"I just had a plant that healed all our wounds quickly." Ivy said as she rubbed the back of her head.

Cole walked to Ivy and hugged her which she returned.

"Thank you, little sister." Cole whispered.

Ivy smiled and hugged him back. Cole let go and sat down in a chair at the table. Zane had left to get him food and water, something he was craving after waking up. Everyone else sat down at the table and told Cole all that had happened in the past three weeks since his coma. They had trained more, fought a few Shadows and Nindroids and saved a village.

"Sounds like you guys did a lot." Cole said. "Who led you guys?"

"Zane did a lot of leading, but me and Kai led some missions." Jay said.

"I don't know how you do it, Cole. After a mission these three always looked exhausted if they were in charge." Nya said.

"Cake helps." Cole joked.

Everyone laughed at Cole and even Sensei chuckled.

"So, where are we going now?" Cole asked.

"We are off to find the final Elemental Master. The Master of Water." Wu answered.

"Without the Spear of Waves, how are we going to locate her?" Cole asked.

"The Spirit Smoke showed me the master and we are off to find her now." Wu explained.

"Huh? Wonder who it'll be." Cole said as he took another bite of his lunch.

"Sensei wanted to wait until you woke up. Now that you are…" Pixal said.

"Who is it, Sensei?" Zane asked.

"Yeah tell us." Jay said.

"It is someone that you three know already." Wu smiled at Zane, Jay, and Cole.

The three of them looked at each other and then at Sensei Wu. Seconds passed when Jay and Zane smiled widely, and Cole coughed on his food.

"Are you serious, Sensei!?" Jay asked excitedly.

"After all these years." Zane asked with a smile.

"Talia." Cole whispered.

"Who's Talia." Ivy asked.

"She's my daughter." Wu said.

"Umm…What?" Kai asked.

"Talia Wu. My beautiful little girl." Wu said as he took out a picture.

"Why are we just know hearing about her?" Nya asked.

"I thought you knew?" Jay said confused.

"No, I didn't know! Jay, after all these years, you didn't tell me Wu had a daughter!?" Nya yelled.

"I thought you knew!" Jay said.

"We are not the best story tellers." Zane said.

"No one's perfect." Pixal said.

"How can you have a daughter when you're so…old." Kai asked.

"Kai." Ivy said.

"We're all thinking it!" Kai said.

Sensei chuckled at his students.

"Yes. I have a daughter. She used to live with me when my monastery was still built." Wu explained.

"She was so cool! She was funny, smart—" Jay started.

"Ahem." Nya cleared her throat.

"But uh no one is cooler than you Nya!" Jay said.

Nya kissed his cheek.

"Smooth." Kai said.

"She was Wu's daughter. Did she learn how to fight?" Ivy asked.

"She fought beautifully." Cole whispered.

Everyone looked at Cole to see that he was staring down at his plate.

"Perhaps Cole would like to tell this story." Wu said.

Cole looked up to see his friends looking at him with concern. Cole sighed and began the story.

"Talia was a fierce warrior, a trained Kunoichi, and…my best friend. I was the first one Wu brought back to train. Once I reached the monastery, I met Talia. She was kind and funny. Once I failed the training course the first day, Talia trained me some before showing me around her home. With her help, I was able to beat the course at the end of the week. Then Jay and Zane showed up. We were all great friends and I thought nothing would change." Cole said.

"What happened?" Kai asked.

"Wu left to go find you, Kai. I didn't know it then, but Talia decided to leave the monastery to go live with her mother. She said we would need the space to train, but she was giving up her room for you." Cole said.

"Sorry, man." Kai apologized.

"Not your fault. She was…nice like that." Cole gave a half smile. "I didn't know she was an elemental master though."

"She inherited her mother's water powers. She trained Talia to use her powers like how I trained you all." Wu explained.

"You have a wife too, Sensei?" Jay asked, not knowing about that.

"Ex-wife." Wu answered. "The Spirit Smoke showed me that Talia would be joining our team. With the new masters found, we will be one step closer to finding the Ninja of Light."

Everyone got up and put their plates in the sink before leaving for the bridge. Zane and Cole were the last ones out.

"Are you going to be OK, Cole?" Zane asked.

"I get to see my friend again after all these years, brother. I'll be fine." Cole smiled.

Cole and Zane walked out to the deck. Cole had now realized that they were flying over the ocean. Jay lowered the ship into the water once he saw a large temple come over the horizon.

"The Water Temple." Wu said with a smile.

Cole looked at the temple, knowing Talia was there somewhere.

At the Society of Ghosts castle, all the Shadows and members waited inside a large room. The Shadows were on their knees with their heads bowed while the members, King Oroku, Princess Alayne, and Dexter Borg all stood in front, looking at an empty platform. Oroku, still in his mechanical samurai suit after it being fixed by Dexter, was annoyed and had his arms crossed.

"This is pointless and demeaning." Oroku said.

"Master Seppuku has had a change in plans. You will still locate the forges, but his apprentice will take on the ninja." Dexter explained writing on a clipboard.

"I refuse to lend my Shadows to that…child." Oroku said.

"He's not taking your throne, Oroku." Dexter said getting annoyed.

"My Shadows do not need help from—" Oroku began.

He was cut off from a green portal opening up. Seppuku's laughter was heard on the other side. All of the members dropped to their knees as did Alayne and Dexter. Oroku rolled his eyes and got down on only one knee. Suddenly, a man fell from out of the portal and landed on one knee as well. The portal closed and the man, a ninja, stood up.

"Morro." He whispered eerily.
