AN: Again sorry for the wait, I've been a little busy with Dragon Warrior and I'm in one act plays which for the next two weeks will completely take up my schedule because we'll be practicing till around 10-12 every night. I'll be trying to keep putting chapters out but it's slowing down a bit and I apologize but I can't really help it. But I will try to keep em coming.

"Oh Thor help us…" I said looking at the massive dragon coming out of the water. It was looking at us but looked away, thankfully. Toothless got higher into the air "I'm NOT having my mind taken over again." She said fearfully flying upward almost in a panic "Whoa whoa, Tooth slow down." I said not wanting to get thrown off.

She listened as we were well high enough in the air "I'm sorry… I just…" She stopped mid sentence "It's alright I understand, but I won't allow that to happen. Now, we need to get closer so I can assess what's happening here." She fearfully descended obviously not wanting to.

Every kind of dragon you could think of was attacking anything that moved or looked like it was made by humans "I don't understand, they're not taking any food but rather burning it all down." I said not understanding. With the queen they brought her food but this… this is sabotage. While looking around I noticed Alvin's ship finally get ashore "Come on, we need to talk to Alvin."

We flew to the shoreline and his men were already tossing bolas at us "STAND DOWN!" He heard the outcast leader shout almost angrily "Come on Tooth." She flew down and we landed next to Alvin "Now listen 'ere you useless grunts, he's with us. Berk is going to help us and they 'ave dragons." His men looked all at each other before looking at us.

"Wait isn't that Stoick's boy?" One of them said not believing I was on top of a Night Fury. An explosion to the right of us cause everyone to look in that direction "Oh Thor… that was one of the food storage houses…" One of them said sounding fearful "Alvin sir, we only have two storage houses left out of five." Savage said.

Alvin looked rather pissed "Rally most of the men to protect the rest of them, we're going to need everything if we even hope to survive winter. 'Iccup…." He sighed out of defeat "Can you lot help us keep them away… we're already too low to survive winter." I let out a nod before we took back off towards the group.

Once we were back I quickly gave everyone the situation "Ok dragons are raiding and the outcasts need a little help keeping there food safe." I said keeping it basic "Why don't we just leave them, they wouldn't do it for us." Snotlout said pointing in their direction "Are we outcast's Snotlout or are we a tribe that helps out it's allies?" He grumbled before keeping quiet.

"Ok so… I want this half to go to the far storage, you'll see the men gathering there, and the other half with me. Try to not get shot down as well." I said splitting them up. The half I had went to the one that had Alvin there where I told them to defend the area "Ok Alvin has anyone seen this lady you were talking about?" I asked as we landed. He turned to us and shook his head "No, no one has seen her or her blasted dragon."

"Wait what!?" I half shouted "You said nothing about a dragon." He rubbed the back of his neck "Right… I didn't…" Toothless looked up at me "Please tell me it's not what you think." I didn't want to think that but it was slowly creeping in, this could be another volkin "You really should have told us Alvin." I said now looking around for a dragon rider that wasn't mine.

"Describe this dragon to me." I said looking back at him "Uh… it was mostly yellow and orange with blue spots." He said leaving it at that "Ok I need a little more than that Alvin." I said gesturing him to continue. He put his hand on his beard and went into thought "Well… it had two long horns on the top of his head as well as one on its head and three on it's back. It's maw was long almost like a nightmare except its eyes were near the horn."

I've never heard of a dragon like that, and even if I did I would probably forget it unless I saw it. Taking a look around I saw Meatlug and Fishlegs "Hey Fish get down here!" I called up to him wanting my very own walking and talking dragon encyclopedia. The two flew down and landed next to us "Fish I'm gonna need you to listen to something for me, go ahead and tell him Alvin."

Alvin repeated exactly the same thing to him. Fish just stood there for a second in thought "I… actually don't know. With all the things happening recently it's very well possible it's a species that we haven't seen yet. I've already seen a few that I've never ever heard of before tonight." He said sounding both excited and frightened.

"Awesome…" I muttered now back at square one. I turned away from Alvin with Toothless "Have you heard anything like this?" She shook her head "No, and if I have I really don't remember." Before I could say anything else an explosion ripped through one of the houses in front of us.

Alvin growled next to me obviously unhappy "Sir what would you like us to do?" One of his men asked "Defend the food, without that we won't make it through winter." He said sounding like he wanted to do something else but couldn't. We knew where the Alpha was but Toothless and I were nowhere near ready enough to be even thinking about it.

Looking around once more I got an idea while watching his men defending themselves "Alvin where can I find a bola?" His eye rose for a second but he shrugged and grabbed one from one of the men passing by "What's your plan boy?" He asked curiously.

"Just trying something." I said before starting to spin the bola. Thankfully because of me being a volkin I can now do stuff like this. Watching the sky I noticed a nadder coming into range "When I get one you have to help me with this Alvin, make sure it stays restrained. Oh, and please don't kill it, that would just annoy me." I said before letting go of the bola.

It hit the Nadder and it went down with a squawk. We quickly ran up on it "Now Alvin whatever you think you may see, you're going to keep it to yourself." I told him as we got there "What are you talking about?" Ignoring him I went up and looked into its eyes. The slits told me what I already knew, it was being controlled 'Time to see if this works.' I thought before trying to rid its mind of the Alpha.

After several seconds of it trying to roast me and bite me it started to shake its head "What are you trying to…. Your eye… dear Thor…" Alvin said now noticing the slit that was there "Not now Alvin." I growled before returning to my previous attempt of breaking the control of the nadder.

It shook its head a little harder before all of a sudden its pupils started to widen. All of a sudden the shaking and biting ceased as it just stared at me fearfully "Hey… can you hear me?" I asked to which it blinked a few times out of what I assume to be confusion. It gave me a short nod "Good, we're going to let go of you now… can you promise me that you won't hurt us?"

Once more it gave me a nod and I looked over to Alvin who was still staring at me "Let go and stand back." He listened and stepped back as I cut the bola off. It didn't move for a few seconds until it finally stood up slowly eyeballing the three of us. Toothless spoke up "We're here to help." It's eyes opened wide looking at me.

"You are a volkin." It stated. I recognised the voice as a female "Um yes. I heard about what was happening and had to investigate." She looked around fearfully "You shouldn't have come here." Toothless and I shared a glance before returning it to the nadder "What do you mean? Why shouldn't I have come?"

Just as she opened her mouth a soothing noise made its way through the chaos. The Nadder stopped speaking and looked in the direction that it was coming from "Toothless what's happening?" I asked looking over at her. But she was also looking in that direction as well with her eyes almost half lidded "Toothless?"

They started to walk in that direction "Toothless!" I shouted before jumping onto the saddle as she went in that direction "Oh don't hold a grudge for this." I muttered before whacking the top of her head. We abruptly stopped throwing me off and almost into a trench "Hiccup?" She asked looking at me half hanging off the edge.

"Oh thank Thor, wasn't sure if that would work." I said standing back up and brushing off the dirt "What happened? I heard this beautiful sound that was just irresistible." She said dreamily. I put a hand to my chin as I thought about what was happening "It almost sounds like the mind control but I was able to take you out of it with a simple whack to the head."

"So that's why my head hurts, thanks for that." She said giving me a slight look "Hey I'm sorry, I wasn't sure what else would work." She rolled her eyes "I'm messing with you." Reaching to the back of my back I let out a nervous chuckle before getting back onto what was happening and looking at the retreating form of the nadder.

"We need to follow her." I stated before getting back on the saddle properly this time. As soon as I was in we took off after the nadder. The noise got louder but Toothless said she wasn't as affected now probably because she was aware that is probably wasn't a good thing that she was following and she was actively resisting it.

All of a sudden the noise stopped and the Nadder did as well. We looked around and couldn't see anything out of the ordinary. Until the Nadder was all of a sudden hit by a orange substance that immediately hardened, trapping the Nadder "Deathsong…." Toothless said with wide eyes and fear.

All of a sudden an orange, yellow, and blue dragon that fit Alvin's description came out from behind a house and letting out a roar. It's gaze turned to us and it spit some of that orange stuff at us as well. Toothless was already on it and did a barrel roll narrowly avoiding the orange goo.

Anther shot came and she dodged that one as well before flying a little higher to give us more time if it shot again "Look at what we've got here Opal." A lady said stepping out from the same house that the dragon did with a spear in hand. She looked very different from any vikings you would see.

Her hair was red with a little bit of a copperish look to it as well, along with that her skin was tanned. Which is quite weird around here, the sun doesn't show enough to even think about getting a darker skin tone than ghostly. From this distance I couldn't tell for sure but her eyes looked like they are brown. She also seemed to be either in her early twenties or late teens.

Toothless peered up at me before we both looked at the lady "I'm sorry where are my manners, the name's Selena." Selena said with a mock bow and sporting a grin that sent chills down my spine. She cocked her head to the side for a second before leaning up against her dragon which I believe to be named Opal now "Not everyday you meet another dragon rider, as well as one riding a Night Fury of all things." She said nonchalantly compared to the chaos happening around us.

Not really knowing what was happening I had Toothless land a good distance from the two 'Tooth… do you have any idea who these two are?' I asked mentally to which she shook her head no "You know it's rude to not introduce yourself." Selena said from over by her dragon.

"It's Hiccup." She rose an eyebrow at the name before laughing. Still not fully sure of who this lady is I was hesitant to do anything or say anything. She wiped a few tears from her eyes before standing up seriously "Well Hiccup let me make this simple for you, either you can join me and follow my orders….or die." She said finishing in an icy tone and gave us a deathly stare.

"Wow you've got crazy written all over you." I said tapping Toothless to inform her that we might be leaving very soon "Ah finally someone who has a sense of humor." She said gleefully going back into her "girly" voice. I tapped Toothless once more telling her we needed to go. She got the hint and flew off of the ground a few feet.

"You think you can get away on a dragon?" She said before letting out a short laugh. Before I had time to figure out what she was talking about Toothless staggered in the air "Tooth what's wrong?!" She started to whine for a second closing her eyes before finally shaking her head and returning to normal.

"S-something keeps trying to take over my mind again." She whimpered before closing her eyes again in pain. Knowing I had to counter whatever was coming in I focused on keeping her free of whatever was trying to take over. About a half of a minute passed until Selena spoke up "There must be another Alpha in the area!" She said to her dragon.

"I do not feel the presence of another Alpha." Opal said back with a feminine voice. Selena let out a growl "Then what is it with this Night Fury?!" She said annoyed looking back up at us with slitted eyes. Unlike mine hers were a bright yellow rather than forest green. My eyes widened at what I already thought "A volkin…." I said with my mouth hanging open slightly. Now that I know what I'm dealing with I doubled my efforts in keeping Toothless free.

It was working too, with her being only one dragon it's easier to be keeping her out of someone else's control. All of a sudden the force attacking Toothless's mind disappeared in an instant "Where's your Alpha Hiccup? Because mine has been itching for a fight." She said up to us. Rubbing the top of Toothless's head comfortingly I looked down at her "As if I would tell you."

Her eyes narrowed before she jumped on her dragon "Opal let's teach these two a little thing about respect shall we?" She said looking back up at us from Opal "You know what Tooth, I think we should leave." She nodded under me in confirmation before ducking under another shot of orange goo.

We shot up into the air with the other two on our heels "Come on Tooth, let's show these two why you can't catch a night fury." With only a small nod to show she understood me I gripped on tighter to the saddle. We continued to fly straight up evading random shots of goo coming at us. Eventually we were so high that Outcast island looked like a toy under us.

"Ok let's do it." I said down to Toothless. Just as the two were almost right on us we did a backflip over them and started our dive. If I would have put my hands up I could have touched them. After only a second or two we were moving so fast I was almost sure that I would get frostbite on my cheeks. Chancing a glance behind is I noticed that the two stopped following us.

Of course we didn't slow down until the island was extremely close. Once close enough we slowed down and went straight to the food storage. As soon as we arrived I jumped off to see all of the riders landed "Thank ye 'iccup, don't know what ye did but those blasted dragons finally left." Alvin said walking up.

Looking around I did notice that the dragons were leaving "I don't get it." Toothless said behind me "What did you do Hiccup?" Astrid said walking up to me. Looking behind me at the retreating forms of the dragons I swallowed hard before returning my gaze to her "I don't know… but I saw something tonight, and from what I can tell it's not good" She came closer and lowered her voice "What did you see?" With a slight fear in my voice I looked into her eyes.

"Tonight… I saw another Volkin"

AN: Ok so I now have the new villain introduced MUHAHAHA *Coughs*. Ahem.. but ya the new villain I'm going to have fun with because it's based off of a friend, Vala411. Opal is apparently from one of her stories that I have yet to read but plan to. I once more apologize for the long wait between chaps but as I said above I'm a little bit busy and am going to be even more so now. That and I won't lie, I had a little case of writer's block on this one but I did had ideas for DW so I worked on it. Now, onto reviews!

inuyasha1651- Ya I do want to revise but I want to get back in the writing groove where I can put chaps out a little faster, then I'll revise a little more. Once more I apologize for the wait and apologize in advance for the next one.

bob19h- That is something that I've been toying with in my mind but I'm not fully sure if I will do it. I dunno, I guess you'll have to stick around and see what I decide.

Ok that's everyone… I hope. So for any of you that read Dragon Warrior I do have chapters in reserve so there will be a chapter posted EVERY Friday and I will inform everyone if anything changes. Also if anyone has ideas for this story I'm always listening because nothing in this story is set in stone. Even if I don't use it there is a good chance that I will use it in a different format, and if not I'm still happy for the ideas. I hope you've all enjoyed this and I hope to see you all in the next chap.
