Murder: What's Going On?

When I woke up I was at my house.
"How'd I get in my own house?" I muttered as I got up.
"Because I brought you home" Reggie said as he entered my room.
"What happened?" I asked trying to remember.
"You passed out after hearing about Dawn" He answered sadly.
I remembered the call and about Dawn and started crying. Reggie hugged me tightly. There was a knock at the door and Reggie went to answer it. He came back into the room a few minutes later.
"The police want to talk to you." He said.
I nodded and went into the room where the police were in.
"We would like to ask you a few questions about Dawn." One the officers said.
I said "First I want to know what happened to Dawn"
"Dawn was found dead in her house. Her mother found her." The officer said.
"Okay" I said.
"We were told you were her best friend so do you know anyone who would want to kill her?" The other officer asked.
"No, I don't know anyone that would want to hurt Dawn." I replied.
"Are you sure? Whoever killed Dawn it was for a personal reason" The officer said.
"Yes I'm sure." I said.
Little did I know, I did know someone who would kill Dawn. And when I would learn who it was, I was in for the biggest surprise of my life.
Does anyone have an idea on who would kill Dawn?
