"If Grant Harrison thinks he can remove me as captain of the 2-3," Joe said to Paulina, "he has
another think coming."
"What are you going to do?" Paula wanted to know.
"Well, I can't follow my first impulse. Murder is a mortal sin. What I'm going to do is check that
website, every page, every word, every image."
Paulina said, "I'll bet you know the address by heart."
"I should," Joe replied. "I've visited it often enough."
Joe and Paulina went over to the computer. Joe sat down and typed the familiar URL.
Seconds later, they were reading, in shock, disbelief, and anger... make that fury... the
following words:
"The mayor of Bay City shall remain in office until such time as he or she
dies, or chooses to step down. In the event of the incumbent's death or
resignation, the deputy mayor shall take over until such time as a new
election is held."
That was all; that was the entire website.
"Grant must have hacked into the site and changed it," Paulina said.
"I don't think so, Blue Eyes," Joe answered. "What I think he did was have someone else,
some expert, hack into it and make the changes for him."

At the same moment, Josie was saying to Gary, "Grant must have had someone hack into that website."
"And meanwhile," Gary answered, "he keeps his own hands clean."
"Of course," Josie agreed. "That is classic Grant!"
####
"I wish," Paulina said, "that we could prove Grant had that website tampered with."
At that moment, Joe realized something.
"Wait a minute. I think we can prove it!"
"How?" Paulina wondered.
Joe told Paulina what he planned to do.
"That," Paulina laughed, "is just brilliant! I can't wait to see the look on Grant's face!"
