35. Fairytales - Drabble #34 (Nessie, Edward)
She was nervous. It was ridiculous to feel that way. This had been coming for a long long time. But still... now that it was finally here, the butterflies in her stomach were flying, and she felt a little ill. Good ill, but still... ill.
Suddenly her dad appeared beside her, offering his arm. He was wearing a part-glower, part-nostalgic expression. "You ready, Cinderella?" She laughed. She did look like a character from a fairytale, wearing the dress Alice picked out.
"Yeah," Nessie breathed, "let's go get married." He kissed her cheek before leading the way. Nessie grinned.
