TEASER:
Jane fell down into the darkness as the strange wisps of red and black energy coiled around her. She could feel her descent slowing in effortless defiance of the laws of physics as she understood them, until she was floating. Jane was hanging in midair, as if suspended under water with the alien fluid-energy-or was it a gas continuing to surround her?
Jane Foster, an accented, male voice greeted directly into her mind, sounding almost as surprised by her presence as she was by him.
"What the? Where? Who?" Jane questioned, feeling fairly certain that she hadn't seen any indication of anyone else even having access to this -whatever this place was.
Oh, no I'm not with you yet. My name is Charles and I'm sort of in between realities at present. I'm on my way towards you, but that isn't important. You seem to be suspended right on the edge of the border right now, which is good because it means that I can help you.
"Uh... Thanks. That'd be great," Jane decided, not entirely following the telepath's (because she figured he had to be one) train of thought, but grateful for any support she could get at this point.
I'm sorry, but I can't get you out of there. Not to worry though, I seem to recall that you get out of this just fine.
"What?" Jane questioned as the strange substance began to flow towards her face with apparent purpose.
Time travel, it does your head in. We haven't the time... I need to relay a warning, so listen to me very carefully. I'm going to do my best to ensure that you will be able to remember when you need to, alright?
"Telepath. I knew it!" So he's probably from London. Jane doubted that the Aesir were telepathic.
Dr. Foster?
"Sorry. Go ahead," Jane agreed, eying the encroaching substance nervously. She didn't know why, but she instantly trusted this 'Charles'. Something about his presence just felt safe. And realistically, in her situation she didn't have any viable alternatives.
In a short while you are going to be taken on an unexpected visit to Asgard where you will meet the Queen Frigga as well as her youngest son Loki...
In the next few seconds, Jane did her damnedest to keep her undivided attention on Charles' telepathically-condensed, information dump while the aether crept closer to her face. Finally, they were out of time.
Good luck, Dr. Foster. I promise you, no matter how difficult things become, or how it may not seem to be so, I won't be far away and I will be watching, Charles assured her before retreating from her mind. And as the aether surged in through her eyes, mouth and nose, filling her with its ancient energy, she found herself feeling inexplicably comforted by a near-complete stranger. He wasn't really a stranger. In a way, she felt like they had already known each other for years.

A/N: Charles Xavier will return in 'A Story So Bizarre..." alongside his new foil Loki, as well as Jane, and Naturally Erik and a few other familiar faces...
Might be another week or two though before I post it due to previous commitments.
