Okay so I have a plan,please don't get mad and be all like ugh do something different! Trust me I have plans..without further ado the next chapter

Katniss pov

Several months have passed since rye was born. He is now 8 months old. My mom wanted to watch the kids so we finally have time alone. It's been so long since we were 'physical'...

The next morning comes and I have to be up because prim and my mom are bringing the kids. They don't knock so if they were to walk into us naked,it would scar them. Peeta is still asleep an he is snoring really loud. First I take a shower and then when I walk into our room I notice that we made a huge mess. Clothes are everywhere and I really should wash the sheets but peeta lays there.

I kiss his forehead and he stirs. Then I hear footsteps coming up the stairs. I turn to the door and see willow,prim holding rye,and my mom. Then my mom gasps and I realize that peeta is is laying naked behind me.

I quickly turn and cover him up. When I turn around they are already downstairs. I meet them down there and apologize. My mom laughs and says"katniss you don't have to apologize,I remember when I was your age.."I blush and take my baby boy.

"Thanks. Did they behave?"I ask changing the subject.

"Yes,they were perfect,as always"she says. I wish they were always perfect,but they are only humans and sometimes they can be turds.

I kiss willows head and do the same to rye. I grab his toy and hand it to him. He sucks on it. He starts to cry and I check his diaper and try to feed him,but he just isn't happy anymore. Even though I've had a kid before I still have moments when I freak out and don't know what to do.

I start to rock him but he still cries. That's when I panic. Usually peeta is there to help me out but he is still asleep. My mom sees me panic and says"katniss,I need you to calm down katniss. When you've calmed down a bit hold him to your heart,it's comforting."I do as I'm told and he starts to calm just a bit but still cries. "Here let me see his gums,maybe he has a tooth growing in"

I hand him to her and she checks."yup,he has a tooth growing in"

"Do you have any wine?"She asks.

"I don't know,haymitch might have drank it all" I say and then I find it."ah,here it is"I say handing it to her."why do you need it?"I ask'

She takes a bit on her finger and rubs it on ryes gums."it helps them with the pain of there tooth growing. You just take a bit on your finger and rub it on his gums. I nod and hear"rub what on his gums?"then a yawn.

Peeta stands in the door way in sweatpants and no shirt. He yawns again and then walks in and wraps his arms around me."Good morning baby"he says and kisses my cheek.

I kiss him back and say"morning"

He picks up rye and asks"um katniss,why does the baby smell like alcohol?"I laugh and explain to him why. Soon my mom and prim leave and I give rye a bath. Then after the kids are asleep I hold peeta and say"I love you"

"I love you too"he says
