Merry Christmas Kaitlyn~

"Are you sure you're okay with carrying the tree in by yourself?" Kaitlyn asked as they pulled into the driveway of her and Sheamus' home. It was the beginning of December, and this was the first Christmas that the couple was spending together. The weather wasn't too bad, and there was a light layer of snow on the ground, but it wasn't too cold out.

Sheamus shut off the car, "Kaitie, I'm sure. I can get it." He grabbed his keys and stepped out of their car, and Kaitlyn did the same. Their Christmas tree was tied to the top of the car, and he'd have to carry it into the house. They took their time picking out the perfect tree today, and had even went to the store to buy ornaments and lights to put on it.

"I'm so excited we got a real tree!" Kaitlyn exclaimed as she grabbed the store bags out of the back seat of the car. She then went to unlock the door to their house so that Sheamus could carry it in easily. It wasn't that hard of a job, but she wanted to make it as easy as possible for him. Once they got everything into the house, including the tree, it was time to start decorating. "If we're gonna do this we have to do it the right way!" Kaitlyn said as she turned on some Christmas music.

Sheamus chuckled, "You really love Christmas, don't ya?"

Kaitlyn nodded, "It's my favorite holiday."

"In that case, let's get decorating." Sheamus smiled.

"Let's do it!" Kaitlyn nearly yelled. Sheamus couldn't help but to watch his girlfriend in wonder. She could be such a child at times, and he couldn't wait to see how she reacted to the surprise he had for her later tonight. She would be so shocked, but Sheamus hoped that she'd be happy nonetheless.

They took their time in hanging up different bulbs on the tree, and stringing the lights so that everything was just right. "We're almost done." Sheamus noted. The tree was nearly perfect, and he decided now was the perfect time to give Kaitlyn his surprise. "I have one more bulb." He said, as he got his special bulb and handed it to his girlfriend. It was bigger than all of the other ones.

"What's this Shea?" She asked, curiously.

"Open it." He said simply.

She obliged, and opened the special bulb. What was inside surprised the hell out of her. "Oh my god... Sheamus..." It was a ring, bigger than anything she had ever seen before.

"Merry Christmas Kaitlyn." Sheamus said. "Will you marry me?" He asked, and got down on one knee. Kaitlyn thought that this moment couldn't get any more perfect.

"Are you really proposing right now?" She asked, tears blurring her vision.

"Yeah, I guess I am." Sheamus laughed. "I love ya Kaitie."

"I love you too." She laughed. "Of course I'll marry you."

"Oh thank god." Sheamus said, and got up to kiss his new fiancé.
