Chapter 36: Preparation for War-Part 3

Time for the last chapter of this Pre-War Arc! Everybody ready?

So some of you seemed to like Zeratul's appearance in this. And then there were those who had no idea where he was from, which disappointed me a bit. How do some of you not know about the Starcraft series? It's only like one of the best games out there!

This would have been out sooner (Like a week earlier), but I lost all of my writing on the fights, and had to work double time just to get this out as soon as it did.

Hope you all enjoy this one!

(Shining Kingdom)

"Where are they?" Riku sighed as he tapped his foot impatiently.

"They were working on Roxas' memories, there's no need to be impatient," Aqua told him.

"I know, I know," Riku sighed. "I'm just used to expecting this from Sora, not his Nobody.

"Hey! I wasn't that bad, was I?" Sora asked Kairi. The Princess of Heart just turned shrugged.

"Well, it was bad on days that you would sleep in and we would have to come and drag you out of bed," Kairi told him. Sora just sighed and slumped his shoulders.

Aqua grinned and said, "Sounds like someone I know." She then looked at Ven out of the corner of her eye, who just blushed in embarrassment.

"Not my fault Terra would keep me up with his ghost stories," the young Keyblade Wielder mumbled.

"Yo!"

Everyone looked over to see Roxas and the rest of the group arrive in the meeting room.

"Sorry we're late, my head was more messed up than I thought," Roxas chuckled sheepishly. "So what did you want Riku?"

"Before I came here, me and Mickey were hiding out in the Keyblade Graveyard as we spied on two Seekers," Riku began.

"Any idea who they were?" Sora asked.

"Yeah, one of them was Saïx, and the other was your twin," Riku said as he pointed at Sora.

"Come again?" Sora asked.

"It was Vanitas, my other half," Ventus explained.

"But, wouldn't he look like you?" Kairi asked.

Ventus sighed and began, "When I was training under Xehanort, my first master, he separated my heart in order to create an entity of darkness, while I would be an entity of light. He did this in order to try and create the X-Blade."

"Using that method would only create a replica of the weapon," Lighteron told them. "It would be very fragile and tear itself asunder if the energies weren't constantly being balanced. Only by combining the Seven Lights and Thirteen Darknesses can the true X-Blade be forged."

"So the one Venitas used all those years ago was a fake," Aqua realized.

"But, it had so much power," Mickey said.

"The true X-Blade is far more powerful, as it is the Guardian of Kingdom Hearts," Lighteron said.

"Getting back on track here, what were you going to say about Vanitas being like Sora and not Ven?" Roxas asked.

"Huh? Oh, right!" Ven remembered. "Well, I think that my fractured heart had reached out to Sora as it was breaking apart, and the connection reached Vanitas as well, only it affected him more."

"Hmm, most interesting," Lighteron muttered. "Now Riku, what were you going to say about the Seekers?"

"Well, it seems like both Saïx and Vanitas are planning to leave the Seekers, and are going to approach us in The World That Never Was and ask to have Xehanort's heart removed from them," Riku explained.

"How do we know that this isn't a trick?" Lea asked. While he may want his friend back, he didn't want to be tricked.

"I didn't sense any kind of deceit from them, so I think that we're going to have two new allies soon," Riku explained.

"An interesting turn of events, I wonder if there will be any more surprises during the battle," Shin wondered.

'I don't think I'd like to know,' Lighteron thought.

"Wait a minute, how would we remove Xehanort's heart from them without removing their own hearts?" Terra asked.

"The Keyblade will just remove the fragment if you command it to do so," Lighteron explained. "The Keyblade Warriors of the past developed this method after Heart Viruses emerged.

"Heart Viruses?" Naminé asked. "Is that some kind of medical problem?"

"In a way," Lighteron began. "A Heart Virus as a disease that would attack the victim on the spiritual level. It would cause the powerful emotions within the heart to fluctuate and constantly push Light and Darkness into the heart, and then pull it right back out. There are other symptoms, but I don't want to go into details."

"So the Keyblade Warriors tried to heal the Heart Viruses with magic spells like Cure. It worked for the early stages, but was not effective on the ones that had taken root in the Heart. So one Keyblade Wielder, who was going to end the suffering of a victim who was going to die from an overload of Light energy, stuck his Keyblade into his Heart. But instead of ending the victim's life, he accidentally pulled out the disease and watched as it evaporated into nothing."

"So I'm going to guess that this guy then spread the word about how to effectively cure the people, right?" Lea asked. Lighteron nodded in confirmation.

"So we just need to command out Keyblades to pull out Xehanort's Heart from both Saïx and Vanitas?" Sora asked.

"Yes, that should do the trick," Lighteron said. "Now then, I believe that you all need to get back to training."

(Dark City)

"I cannot understand how this happened," The Emperor mumbled as he read a report.

In the report, it said that the northern vault had caved in. Now this wouldn't be a problem as it wasn't even half full. The real problem was that this vault housed about 47% of their war machines and 53% of their ammo supplies. Now he had tank drivers without tanks, rocket launchers without rockets, and artillery cannons without artillery shells, just to name a few of the problems.

"I've taken the liberty of having Diaboromon increase the power to the factories, so we should be able to recover what we've lost before the battle," Cherubimon said.

"Good call, I was going to have him do that," The Emperor praised. "But now we're going to be behind on production."

"I can't do anything about that, we don't have access to the any more factories due to our current predicament," the Dark Lord replied. "If we were to have access to the factories of Terra Prima, then we would be able to increase our production speed drastically."

"Yes, Terra Prima does have the most productive factories in the entire world," The Emperor agreed. "Unfortunately, they are unavailable to us because of how the world is."

*Knock knock*

Cherubimon kept looking straight at The Emperor as he heard the knocking. "Did you have another meeting planned?"

"No," was all The Emperor said before he leapt over the desk and crashed through the door, trying to catch the intruder. He looked to the left and saw Xigbar standing there with a grin on his face as he fired several arrows from his guns. The Emperor summoned Shadow Striker and blocked all the arrows before he sped toward the Seeker with his sword aimed to decapitate the Seeker.

Unfortunately, Xigbar warped away right as The Emperor swung. The mysterious leader of the Dark Lords then turned around and threw his sword like a javelin, intercepting a dual bladed lance and pinning it to the wall with its handle between the split in the sword.

"How did you find this place?" The Emperor asked a smirking Lezard.

"Quite simple really, just look for the only signs of life in an empty city," the mage answered. "Plus we do have the notes from when our other member infiltrated this place last time."

Lezard then moved out of the way as a purple axe came crashing down on where he was. He ducked under a purple fist and jumped back as he faced Cherubimon, who now stood between him and The Emperor. The Dark Lord had an axe formed onto the side of his forearm.

"You again," Lezard said in annoyance.

"What's the matter?" Cherubimon chuckled. "Don't you want a rematch against me? Or rather..."

"Against us?"

Lezard's eyes widened as he dove to the side to avoid another axe. Looking back, he saw another Cherubimon charging towards him. He summoned a demonic looking sword before parrying the axe and shoving the second Cherubimon back.

"My Lord, go after the other one, I'll handle this fool," the other Cherubimon said. The Emperor nodded and raced down the other hallway as he retrieved his sword, since the lance had vanished.

"A fool am I? Well, at least I don't look like the court jester," Lezard smirked. "Or would you rather be known as a bunny?"

Both Cherubimon's gained a tick mark and one asked, "Can we kill him now?"

"Yes, I think it's time for a good thrashing," the other one said to...himself?

"You do know that talking to yourself is a sign of madness," Lezard informed him. "But you're probably an expert in madness, all the clown-like people I've known were the mad ones. You're not going to go on a tirade about destruction and all that, are you?"

(Battle Music-Weight of the World-Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn)

The Cherubimon's said nothing as one formed axes on both his forearms and charged while the other one raised his hand and shot forward a barrage of lightning bolts. Lezard pulled out a book and held it open as pages flew out and blocked the lightning. He used the flat side of his demonic sword to block the other Cherubimon II's axes.

Cherubimon II reared back his leg and turned it into a saw blade before aiming it at Lezard's chest. The Seeker of Darkness pulled back to avoid the attack, and brought his sword to slice Cherubimon II in half. He sliced the Dark Lord's copy into two pieces, but had a perplexed expression on his face.

"Do you take me for a fool?" Cherubimon asked.

"We can sense the corruptive darkness on that blade of yours," Cherubimon II continued. "Based on the amount it has, and how corruptive it is, I can correctly say that your sword disintegrates everything it cuts. All I did was split myself in the path of the blade, making sure that it didn't touch me."

"Your abilities are impressive, to be able to detect the nature of my Demon Sword Levantine without seeing it in action is no ordinary feat," Lezard praised. His tone then took on a slightly maniacal one. "But I'm afraid that it won't help you survive."

The mage had his sword vanish in a burst of light before summoned a majestic looking bow. "The Sylvan Bow never misses," Lezard said as he aimed it at the Dark Lord. He let loose a swarm of light arrows and sent them after both Cherubimon. The two jumped out of the way, but the arrows just bent in the air and chased after them.

Noticing this, Cherubimon leapt in front of Cherubimon II dissolved his arms to form a shield. The arrows his the shield and exploded on impact. Lezard tensed up as he waited for something to come out of the smoke.

"Lightning Spear!"

Several spears made out of lightning shot out of the smoke, more pages flew out of Lezard's book in response. Several pages were burned by the lightning, and more spears flew towards Lezard.

"Prismatic Missile!" Lezard cried as he sent multicolored beams of light at the smoke. Both Cherubimon jumped out of the smoke as the spell impacted against the ground, causing another explosion.

"The sapphire light burns deep in Hell. Witness their sins and call forth the day of Judgement. Pale Flare!" Lezard chanted as five white trails of fire flew towards Cherubimon. The dark Lord burst apart into dark orbs as they passed through him, hitting the ground and causing a large explosion that blew a hole to the roof. Lezard jumped towards the roof and landed on it, watching as the two Cherubimon leapt to the opposite side of the hole.

"You are nothing before the might of a God!" Lezard exclaimed with maniacal laughter.

Both Cherubimon looked at each other before they burst out into laughter.

"You? A GOD!? That has to be the funniest thing I've heard all week!" Cherubimon II said.

"What a claim," Cherubimon chuckled. "Calling yourself a God, you must be very confident in your abilities if you can make a bold claim like that."

"Do not try to make me angry with a mere dismissal of the truth, you do not know what I have done in my world," Lezard told them. "You are nothing in the face of my almighty power."

"That's where you're wrong, we've done our research on you," Cherubimon said.

"Lezard Valeth, powerful alchemist, and well versed in Necromancy," Cherubimon II continued. "Studied in the Flenceburg Magic Academy in the world of Midgard. According to the reports, you were a special student as you held a great knowledge of magic. Not to mention the fact that you are a very powerful mage."

"However, there was also mention of a...problem of yours," Cherubimon began. "You had become obsessed with having a certain individual in your grasp."

"Be silent," Lezard ordered, showing anger for the first time.

"Obsessed with obtaining a Goddess, not only to become a God yourself, but to also satisfy your lust for her," Cherubimon II told him as he chuckled. "No wonder she hates you."

"Shut up!" Lezard yelled as he charged at Cherubimon II while swinging Levantine. The Dark Lord's copy just parried the blow before dropping low and swinging his feet to trip his opponent. Lezard jumped over him and went to stab him in the chest, but Cherubimon II just grinned watched as the blade passed through the hole he made for it. he burst into dark orbs and reformed a short distance away. Lezard raised his hands and several beams of light shot towards space.

"Bow to me! Worship me! Honor my name: Lezard Valeth! No mercy for the damned!" Lezard chanted as small meteorites fell towards Cherubimon. The Dark Lord and his copy dodged the meteors as they crashed through the building. "No escape from catastrophe! Meteor Swarm!" Lezard brought his hands down as a larger meteor came down to the earth.

"Lightning Blast!" Both Cherubimon shouted as they fired a larger bolt of lightning. The attack crashed into the meteor and completely destroyed it. When the smoke cleared, both could see Lezard glaring at them with pure rage.

"Are you angry?" Cherubimon taunted.

"Are you filled with rage?" Cherubimon II continued.

"I'll make you wish you were never born," Lezard declared darkly as he pulled out a red orb.

Both Dark Lords grinned and said in unison, "Yes, let your anger run wild. Let it consume your being. Let it lead you into the path of madness and chaos. Your anger shall lead you towards oblivion."

The area grew dark as both Cherubimon's eyes turned red. The orb in Lezard's hands grew brighter as it charged up for a powerful spell.

"Drink deeply the power of the orb! Burn in the flames of the apocalypse!" Lezard chanted as the orb glowed brightly and created a large crimson dragon that rushed towards the Cherubimon.

"For Anger is our Sin, and we are your oblivion. Now kneel before us and submit to the might of the Dark Lords! Terminal Judgement!"

(Battle Music-The Deep End-Kingdom Hearts 1.5)

The Emperor was racing down the hallway after Xigbar. The Seeker would fire arrows at him, only for them to be blocked by his sword.

"Die! Infinity Darkness!" The Emperor roared as he held up his sword. a dark energy was gathering in the split of the sword before a beam of darkness shot out of the sword. Xigbar jumped to the side as the beam disintegrated the end of the hallway. Xigbar jumped out of the hole and landed outside.

"What did you do to cause that?" Nazo asked as he watched Xigbar dust off his cloak.

"Don't look at me, I haven't said anything to him," Xigbar defended himself. "I think that this plan was a bad idea."

"What makes you say that?" Nazo asked.

"How about the fact that nothing's gone right!" Xigbar yelled.

Just then, The Emperor jumped out of the building and stood before the two Seekers of Darkness.

"I thought Lezard was supposed to take care of him," Nazo said.

"He's busy with their purple bunny friend," Xigbar explained as he summoned his guns.

The Emperor dashed towards the two and went to stab Nazo. The silver hedgehog jumped back and sent several Chaos Spears at the leader. They were blocked by The Emperor's sword before he vanished in a burst of speed and kicked the Seeker of Darkness to the ground.

Before he could do anything, he had to move to the side as several arrows whizzed by his head. The Emperor turned back to Xigbar and summoned the Inferno Fang and sent out a wave of white hot flames at his target. Xigbar cursed as he warped away to a safe distance as the flames engulfed the area he was previously in and prevented him from getting to a good sniping point.

"That'll keep him away for a while," The Emperor said as he turned back to Nazo. He ducked under a punch and sidestepped a kick as he slammed his foot into the Seeker's chest, only for the hedgehog to vanish as the limb made contact.

"Chaos Lance!" Nazo cried as he fired a much larger energy arrow at The Emperor.

"What a cheap light trick," The Emperor muttered as he summoned the Cocytus Shards and stabbed them in the ground, creating a wall of ice. The Chaos Lance hit the wall, but it didn't crack.

"What?!" Nazo cried in disbelief.

The Emperor smirked under his hood. "This kind of ice is indestructible, therefore, it is the perfect shield against all attacks."

"Now die," The Emperor said as he sent a chilling mist towards Nazo. Seeing that it was freezing the ground it covered, Nazo jumped back.

"Chaos Wind!" Nazo shouted as he sent out a large gust of wind, getting rid of the mist.

"Take this!" Xigbar shouted as he appeared above the Emperor and sent a larger energy arrow directly at him. The Emperor switched back to the Shadow Striker and deflected the arrow back at the Seeker. Xigbar warped out of the way and appeared next to Nazo.

The Emperor briefly glanced at the building, where he caught sight of the meteor that was falling towards it. He then saw that it was destroyed by a large lightning bold.

'Don't play around for too long Cherubimon,' The Emperor thought as he turned his attention back to his own battle.

"Let's see how you dance!" Xigbar said as he put his hands into two small portals and smirked at The Emperor. The mysterious of the Dark Lords just tensed up before summoning the Soul Seeker.

Right above The Emperor, hundreds of arrows shot down from portals. The Emperor twirled his scythe above his head and began to deflect the arrows. Xigbar kept up the assault and watched as The Emperor just deflected all the arrows like they were nothing.

"Anything else?" The Emperor asked as he slowly walked towards them.

(End Music)

Before anyone could do anything, there was a large explosion from the building, following it were several large lightning bolts. Everyone turned to see half of the building fall apart as the fires raged. Lezard flew out of the flames with minor burns on his body.

"You look like you've been having fun," Xigbar commented.

"Be quiet you simpleton," Lezard ordered. "I am in no mood for your 'friendly banter' right now."

Cherubimon landed next to The Emperor, fused back into one being. His eyes were still glowing red.

The Emperor took a look at him and asked, "Have fun?"

Cherubimon chuckled darkly and replied, "Yes, yes I did. This mongrel was very entertaining. Not to mention the anger he has is...exquisite. Ravemon would also enjoy his lust as well."

"Oh? So he wishes to have another in his life?" The Emperor asked. Before Cherubimon could respond, they had to jump away as multicolored missiles slammed into the ground where they stood.

"Don't you know it's rude to interrupt a conversation?" Cherubimon asked. "Or did that Goddess you're obsessed with not gift you with manners? Probably another reason why she hates you."

"I'll turn you to dust! Awaken lord of the Four Treasures, sealed away since the origin of time!" Lezard called upon a giant dual-bladed lance, much larger than the ones he used before. "Face the might of Gungnir!"

"Gungnir? I thought that old thing was destroyed during the War of Light and Darkness," Cherubimon wondered.

"Look closely," The Emperor said, "you can see that this lance was made out of the fragments of the older one."

"Now disappear!" Lezard shouted as he created three dark copies of the lance.

The Emperor was enveloped in a dark aura as he gripped the Shadow Striker tightly before it turned into a purple light. Pure white eyes were glowing under his hood and a shadowy figure appeared behind him, striking a fearsome image towards his enemies. He held out his right hand as a red, brown, and light blue light joined the purple one.

"Drown in darkness! Face the ultimate power and tremble before my might! Accept oblivion and vanish from this world forever!"

(Shining Kingdom-Next Day)

"So this is the Shining Kingdom," Leon said as he stepped out of the Gummi Ship.

"It's so beautiful," Aerith gasped as she saw the castle.

"It makes our world look dull," Yuffie pouted.

Tifa grinned and said, "Looks like the guys back home could take a lesson from whoever made this place, wouldn't you say so...Cloud?"

The blond haired man stepped out of the Gummi Ship and looked up at the large castle that was bustling with activity. "I guess so," he said as he readjusted the large bandaged sword on his back.

"Greetings," Examon said as he landed in front of the group. "Are you the group that arrived from Radiant Garden?"

"That's us, who are you?" Leon answered.

"I am Examon, Dawn Knight of the Sky," Examon introduced himself. "King Lighteron tasked me with taking all of you into the castle where the rest of your friends are waiting."

The Dawn Knight lead the group from Radiant Garden into the castle while answering any questions that they had. He eventually lead them into an area where Sora was practicing with Alphamon.

"Shinning Barrage!" Sora shouted as he fired off his Shot Lock at Alphamon. The ten spheres of light crashed into the Dawn Knight as he blocked them with a shield. Sora felt the build up of energy and released it, sending more spheres at Alphamon. He continued this for several more moments before stopping.

"Impressive, you're able to produce the maximum effect of your Shot Lock on instinct now," Alphamon praised. "You are a quick learner."

"Yes, you have grown at an impressive rate under our guidance," Examon agreed as he revealed his presence.

"Hey guys!" Sora greeted as he saw his friends.

"Hi Sora!" Yuufie yelled as she waved her arms wildly.

"Did you guys just get here?" Sora asked as he walked up to Leon.

"Yeah, Cid leant us his spare Gummi Ship so we could travel to this world," he explained.

"Guess he needed to stay behind," Sora said. "So when did Tifa and Cloud get to Radiant Garden?"

"About a day or two after you guys left," Aerith answered.

"Find Sephiroth?" Sora asked.

Cloud shook his head. "Lost him again," he told him.

"As much I would like to have you continue this reunion, we must continue on our way to King Lighteron," Examon said as he gestured for the group to follow him.

"See you soon?" Leon said as they left.

"Now then," Alphamon began as he summoned a sword of light and held it in a battle position. "Where were we?"

Lighteron was checking over the reports on their battleships when he heard a knock on his door.

"Enter!" He bellowed as he placed the files on the desk. The door opened to reveal Examon and the group from Radiant Garden.

"Greetings, are you the ones representing Radiant Garden?" Lighteron asked.

"That's us," Leon answered.

Lighteron nodded and said, "Please enter, there is much to discuss."

(Dark City-One Day Before)

The Emperor dropped to his knees, his arms planted firmly on the ground, though they struggled to support his weight. He was taking in many deep breaths as he tried to at least get into a sitting position.

In front of him, the land was...changed, as there is no other words to describe it. The earth was shattered and twisted in every possible way, scorch marks darker than the night left deep marks upon the ground. Large areas of ice were slowly expanding, capturing all it could touch in its icy embrace. And large black spikes stuck out of the earth, darkness pulsating in a dark purple light from the cracks that spread around them like veins carrying blood.

"It was very reckless to do that in your current state," Cherubimon scolded as he reformed himself next to The Emperor.

"I grew tired of their presence," The Emperor groaned. "Was their end slow and agonizing, or was it an unfortunately quick one?"

"Neither, the Uchiha that you had marked for obliteration managed to block your attack long enough for them to escape, though it was just barely blocked by his Susano'o," Cherubimon explained.

The Emperor took in a deep breath and exhaled. As he exhaled, a dark mist flowed out of his hood before it vanished.

"A shame, I had hoped to at least eliminate that wizard who calls himself a God," The Emperor said.

"How did you know that? I didn't get a chance to tell you about his claims," Cherubimon asked. The Emperor just pointed at the ground, and Cherubimon saw a Shadow Heartless with sky blue eyes crawling up The Emperor's cloak before resting on his shoulders.

"These little guys know exactly what I want to hear," The Emperor said as he scratched the Shadow under its chin, the Heartless closed its eyes and made a small humming noise.

Cherubimon then looked to the ruins of the building they were using and said, "We can't stay here anymore."

"I know," The Emperor said as he looked. "I suppose we'll need to initiate Option Beta."

"I've already done it," Cherubimon told him. When The Emperor gave him a questioning look, he explained, "I had created a third clone to attack my opponent, but upon seeing the battle escalate, I had it go and initiate Option Beta."

The Emperor chuckled in amusement, "Very clever, this is why I can count on you to take the initiative."

"Though, I am curious as to what Option Beta actually is," Cherubimon told him. "You never did tell me what it was."

The Emperor chuckled before saying, "Well then, allow me to show you." He then enveloped both of them in darkness before they vanished.

When Cherubimon blinked his eyes from the sudden light, he could tell that wherever he was, was bright. He looked around and grew more shocked at each sight.

"This place...if we're here, does that mean it's finished?" Cherubimon asked in shock.

"Isn't it amazing? 10,000 years, and the construction bots never stopped working or making improvements," The Emperor said. "Diaboromon was VERY impressed with what they came up with on their own."

Cherubimon began to chuckle in glee. "I guess good things DO happen to those who wait!"

(Shining Kingdom-One Week Later)

Sora looked out at the scene before him with some nervousness. What was making him nervous you are asking? The answer is quite simple my dear reader...

An army.

But not just any army, this army was going to be the force that would storm The World That Never Was in order to take down Xehanort and his Seekers of Darkness. The majority of it was made up of the warriors in the Shining Kingdom. There were also people from Radiant Garden and a few other worlds that were convinced to join by Donald and Goofy.

"Quite a sight, huh?"

Sora snapped his head back to see Riku standing there as his attention was turned to the large crowd. The silver haired teen was wearing Keyblade Armor that Aqua had taught him how to gain. It was dragonic in appearance, and colored in a dark purple.

"70,000 people have come to put an end to Xehanrot's threat," Riku said.

"Why would so many people band together just for this?" Sora wondered. "They never did so when Organization XIII was causing problems."

"They weren't causing problems that were as large as what Xehanort's doing," Riku began. "The Organization only drew out the Heartless for you to defeat them, just so they could use the released hearts to create their own Kingdom Hearts. What Xehanort's doing is that he's going to recreate the X-Blade so he can get to Kingdom Hearts, and cover everything in darkness so he can make the worlds in his image."

"Still, why do all these people need to be here?" Sora asked again.

"They're threatened." Sora and Riku turned to see Gallantmon standing a few feet away as he looked over at the army, his lance and shield in hand.

"What do you mean?" Riku asked.

"With Xehanort's plans to destroy the worlds and rebuild them anew, everyone is being threatened," Gallantmon told him. "People will band together to defeat a common foe if that foe is proving to be a threat to multiple people. They will instinctively band together and create an alliance in order to get rid of the threat."

"You see, The Creator originally wanted all beings in the universe to form bonds with others, until all were connected. However, The War Over Light changed all of that as people began to fight over the light, eventually leaving the original world in ruin."

"I've heard that story before," Sora said, "when Kairi's heart was inside me. I had a vision of her grandmother telling her that story. The next part is that the light of children rebuilt the worlds as they were today."

"Yes, but Zeratul spoke of what really happened that day," Gallantmon continued. "The children did play a major part in the rebuilding of the worlds. But what they really did was pray to The Creator. Their prayers woke him from his slumber, and he remade the worlds as they were today, we don't know why though. Zeratul said that he was not shown the reason for this action."

"More like, he was forbidden from telling."

Everyone turned to see Lighteron standing there. The God of Light was glad in white armor with golden markings. The emblem for the Shining Kingdom was embedded on the chest plate, a golden heart within a sun. On his head was a helmet that sprouted a single horn in the front, the back of the helmet was open for his horns.

"You are late for your own speech," Gallantmon told him.

Lighteron turned to him and said, "A God is never late, he is not early either, he arrives at the hour that he has decided to come."

"Nevertheless, you have an army to address," Gallantmon told him before he left to go and take his place by his fellow Dawn Knights.

Riku and Sora were about to leave as well when Lighteron stopped them. "Stay, I have asked the other Guardians to stand with me as well."

Riku and Sora stood with Lighteron as the rest of the Guardians showed up. Kairi was clad in her own armor, sleek and fitting like Aqua's, only colored a deep red. Aqua and Ven were wearing their own armor, and Mickey was the only one without any Keyblade Armor.

Lighteron stood at the front of the balcony and took in a deep breath, and exhaled. The people gathered below had stopped speaking to one another in order to listen to what the God would say.

"Good morning," Lighteron began. "As I stand here before all of you, I can see that many of you are afraid of what will come. It is the same fear that would hold me, and prevent me from marching towards this battle. But I am not afraid, for I refuse to allow this fear to take hold of me. If I allow myself to be afraid, then I would not be able to march into battle and prevent Kingdom Hearts from falling into Xehanort's hands."

"We must fight, to prevent all worlds from being swept under Xehanort's darkness. I will not allow this world, or any world to fall to this madman's schemes! Those of you from the Shining Kingdom know that this darkness is not the one we have faced before, but it still posses a great threat to us all! We must stand ready and march towards battle! For we shall emerge victorious!"

The crowd cheered, but Lighteron raised his hand, silencing them once more. "I will not force any of you to fight, for I have never believed in forcing others to do things against their will. I offer you all this chance to walk away now. I will not hold anything against you now if you choose to leave. I give you this last chance to leave."

Nobody left, for they were inspired by Lighteron's words.

"Then let us board the ships, for today, we march against the growing threat to the worlds! We march against the darkness! We march...TO VICTORY!"

Lighteron summoned the Angel's Wing and aimed it towards the sky. The Keyblade Wielder's summond their Keyblades and followed suit as the army cheered, their courage having grown, and their confidence in emerging victorious assured.

Lighteron turned around and muttered a prayer in a language that seemed native to him.

"Creator, si tor wux ekess troth udoka lae yth march citrel vargach."

DONE! FINISHED! COMPLETE! The pre-war chapters are over! Now we're gonna get into the climax of this story, the war against the Seeker's of Darkness!

So...are you guys excited? I'll work as fast as I can, but it's playoff time for hockey, and I might be too tired after practice to work. But I'll work whenever I have free time.

Those words at the end were written in Dragonic, you'll see why I chose it in later chapters.

Anyway, what it translates to is, "Creator, I ask you to protect us as we march towards battle."

Please Review! Ciao!
