A/N: This is just an introduction to their little field trip, lol, just to set the setting and everything. Enjoy. :3
"It's sooooo hot!" Alex whines, lying back against the hot sand of the beach.
"Are the four of you going to literally lie there the entire afternoon?" Casey asks begrudgingly as she folds her arms tightly. "What was the point of even coming to the beach if all you're going to do is lie there?"
Alex frowns as she pulls down her sunglasses and looks up at the three women standing before her and her friends. "Um, correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought the whole point of this little field trip was to 'relax'. You three relax your way, and the four of us will relax our way."
"Plus, I need to tan." Serena chimes in as she looks up from her magazine. "And the three of you are blocking my light."
"You're as white as a sheet. You're gonna need to stay out here a day and a half to tan. And even then you would just go from sheet white to paper white." Amanda snickers, earning a glare from the attorney in question. "I'm just saying. You three are whining about us just sitting here on the sand, but at least we didn't show up like that."
All eyes turn towards Kim who is seated on a low lounge chair complete with an umbrella, a portable fan, and a cooler. The brunette attorney looks up at her friends and scowls behind her sunglasses when she realizes that they're all staring at her. "Can I help you?"
"You four do realize you're having a bad influence on the children right?" Liv deadpans, gesturing her thumb over towards their kids who all lounging about several yards away. Well, with the exception of Aubrey who has busied her self with digging a hole or something like that. "You honestly can't lie here the entire time."
"Watch us." The four women chime in simultaneously before Alex begins filing her nails, Serena goes back to reading her magazine, Amanda begins playing Minion Rush, and Kim sets about trying to fall asleep under the shade of her umbrella.
Meanwhile several yards away, four teens sit scattered across the sand, mimicking the actions of their mothers.
"It's sooooo hot!" Megan whines, throwing her head back in exasperation. "It just doesn't make any sense to be this hot. I mean, I realize we can't come to the beach when it's cold, but it's still too hot!"
"I agree. I need to tan, too." Charlie adds in with a pout, holding out her arms as she begins examining her white complexion.
"You're about as white as a ghost." Sam snickers smugly. "It'll take hours for you to tan that body, hon."
Megan rolls her eyes at the banter between her best friends before she looks at her girlfriend and whines. "Carly, I love you, but will you please take that stupid hat off?"
Carly scowls deeply and pulls her sunhat down further on her head. "Well excuse me if I don't want to bake in the sun!" she responds quickly. "If you're embarrassed by my hat then I suggest that you ask your other girlfriend to come to the beach with you. Whoops, I'm sorry, you don't have another girlfriend. So deal with it, Cabot."
"You sound like your Mom…" Megan mumbles turning in time to see their parents heading for the ocean. "What are they doing…?"
"Hey! Will you guys build a sand castle with me?" Aubrey asks innocently, with wide, expectant blue eyes as she clutches a pale and a shovel in her right hand.
Megan's face falls at the mere mention of playing with her younger sister. "Can't you build one yourself?" she responds exasperatedly, really not in the mood to play in the sand.
"I don't like sand…" Carly mutters.
"I don't know how." Sam lies, trying to get out of building said sand castle.
"What's a sand castle?" Charlie deadpans, also not wanting to adhere to the youngster's request.
Aubrey pouts and she places both hands on her hips before she huffs. "Fine, then I'll just tell Mommy that you guys won't play with me." she sneers before turning around. "Mommy!"
All four girls pale considerably as the tiny blonde continues to shout for her mother, which is the last thing they want or need.
"Aubrey, no! Shut up!" Megan hisses trying to get her little sister to be quiet. The last thing that she wants is to be in trouble for not playing with her sister.
"Dude, she's coming over here!" Charlie says fearfully as she begins repetitively tapping her best friend on her shoulder. "Do something!"
"Alright! We'll play with you!" Megan relents, her anger internally boiling when Aubrey immediately falls silent and a well satisfied smirk spreads across her face.
"That's more like it." Aubrey grins as she retrieves her pale and shovel. An innocent grin spreads across her face as her mother approaches their little group. "Hi Mommy!"
"Did you call me sweetie? Is something wrong?" Alex asks flatly, eyeing the four teenagers who are smiling far too much for her liking. "What are you four up to?"
"They aren't up to anything. I just wanted to tell you that all of us are gonna make you a sand castle." Aubrey explains, grinning wider when the other girls all quickly agree. "You can go back now."
A sigh of relief escapes the teens' mouths when the rather strict attorney makes her way back over to her lounging spot.
"Your little sister is manipulative." Sam mutters as they start building their sandcastle.
Megan sighs heavily and shakes her head. "You have no idea."
"We've gotta get them in the water." Abbie states as a matter of fact as she and the other two women wade in the water. "They can't just lie there the entire time."
"We should've went to the place that I had suggested." Liv mumbles folding her arms.
"You wanted to go to the rifle range."
"At least I would've gotten to shoot at stuff."
"Will you two shut up?" Casey hisses before she begins heading for the shore. "I've got an idea. C'mon."
Alex frowns when there is once again a shadow blocking her light. She open s her eyes only to narrow them when she spots three soaking wet (and yet very sexy) women standing in front of them. "We've already told you…we're not moving. So don't even bother to ask."
"Oh, don't worry. We're done asking." Abbie quips, shaking a relatively secretive smirk with her friends before she bends down and scoops Serena into her arms.
"Casey, I swear! Put me down! Right now!" Alex squirms as she finds her self thrown over her wife's shoulder. Her eyes widen as she realizes that they're heading for the water. "Casey! Stop it! Oh my god! Don't you dare!"
"Olivia Benson, if you don't put me down, right now. I swear to god." Amanda threatens, wiggling in an attempt to free her from her own wife's hold.
There is a collective squeal from the three blondes as they find them selves thrown into the icy water. All three surface with similar looks of disdain and anger on their faces much to the amusement of their spouses.
This means war.
Hmmm, any ideas for some more fun beach capers in the next chapter?
And how do you guys feel about our favorite ladies maybe paying Casey's cousin a visit in the future, hmmm? Lol Leave your thoughts?
