36: sinner

Disclaimer: I don't own house of Anubis :)

Patricia Williamson was sat on the sofa of Anubis house all on her own, waiting for everyone else to arrive back from school. Patricia had been allowed to leave her last lesson early because she didn't feel well. That's what she told everyone anyway. The truth was, she had started randomly fretting flashbacks of all the things she said and did when she was a sinner. They had started to freak her out so she had made up the excuse so she could come back to Anubis house to calm herself down. It wasn't really working much though so she got off the sofa and decided to go for a walk to clear her head. As she started walking, the flashbacks had started making it impossible for her to think of anything else. She stopped after a few minutes and sat down on a random patch of grass. Tears started to stream down her face as she realised how awful she was to Eddie. Why would he want to be with her anymore? Who would want to be with someone who was a horrible girlfriend?

Eddie Miller was currently searching for his girlfriend who he hadn't seen in a couple of hours. He was starting to get worried about her because she had missed dinner and he had no idea where she was. He walked outside and along the grass for a couple of minutes before she saw a figure in the distance. He walked a bit quicker, hoping it was his girlfriend.

"Yacker?" He asked. The person turned their head and confirmed Eddies suspicions. He moved a bit closer to her and sat down before he looked at her properly. He noticed that her cheeks were tear stained as if she had been crying for a while.

"What's wrong?" He asked, instantly worrying.

"Nothing." She replied, her voice full of attitude as she tried to put on a brave face. It might have worked to anyone else but Eddie wasn't buying it. He knew there was something wrong. It was obvious.

"You shouldn't have to hide anything from me Yacker." He told her as he wrapped his arm around her shoulder. She leant her head into his chest but still didn't say anything. Eddie didn't want to push her into telling him what was wrong but he wanted to be able to help her, so he persisted.

"Please. I want to help." He said, sincerely. The redhead signed before she sat up straight and turned her body so she was sat cross legged in front of her boyfriend.

"It's just something stupid. I had flashbacks." She shrugged as if it was no big deal, not wanting Eddie to see how much it was hurting her. How much it was tearing her apart inside.

"About what?" He asked, grabbing ahold of her hand, his thumb stroking soothing circles against that back of hers. Patricia looked down before she spoke.

"About all the horrible things I said to you when I was a sinner." She replied, hoping he would let it go. He realised that she didn't want to talk about it in any detail so he left it at that.

"It wasn't your fault. You couldn't help any of the things you said." Eddie hoped his words would comfort her because he hates to see his girlfriend cry.

"No one opened my mouth and make me say any of those things though! How can you stand to look at me after everything I said?!" She asked. Eddie though his heart had broken right then and there because he realised how much the whole thing had affected his girlfriend. She was still torn up about all of things she said, even though none of them were her fault in any way. He didn't know what to say to her so he tried his best.

"Look, I know you think it's your fault but it's really not. You couldn't have done anything to stop it. I don't take anything that you said to heart. I know you didn't mean it. You'll always be my best friend, even when you say mean stuff to me. No matter what, I'll always love you. You'll always be my Yacker." He told her, and as he did, tears started to leak out of her eyes and run down her face. Eddie wiped each and every one of them away with his thumb, before they fell to the ground. Patricia smiled through her tears at how supportive Eddie was being. She didn't know what she would do without him.

"I love you too, Weasel." She said as she leant froward and pressed her lips to his. Eddie responded by deepening the kiss for a couple of minutes before he realised how dark and cold it had gotten outside. The second they pulled away, Patricia seemed to notice it too. She started to shiver and Eddie didn't want her to be cold so he took of the jumper that he was wearing and gave it to his girlfriend. She looked like she was going to protest so Eddie covered her lips with his finger as a way of telling her to be quiet. She slipped the jumper on and sighed in relief when she started to warm up. Eddie stood up and held his hand out to his girlfriend. She graciously took his hand and he pulled her up. He didn't let go of his hand though, and the pair of them walked hand in hand back to Anubis house. All of their troubles forgotten.
