Chapter 36

Zoe's PVO

This had been the best day of my life, we had, such a fun romantic day. I didn't want the day to end, but I knew it had to as I had work the next day. "Nick shall we head to bed as I got work the tomorrow, it has been such an amazing day." I told him. Nick Just kissed passionately and wouldn't let go of me. I couldn't resist him and kissed him back passionately. When we broke apart form each other, I decided to get up and head to Nick's bedroom and put my pyjamas on and did my teeth before getting into bed. It wasn't long before Nick joined me in bed and we just cuddled up as I fell asleep in his arms. It just felt so warm in his arms and I soon fell asleep.

End of PVO.

The next morning Zoe's phone alarm went of and she groaned and snoozed the alarm which went of five minutes later. Zoe stretched and carefully got up as not to wake me up. Zoe went upstairs to have a shower and get dressed for work. She then made some coffee and had a quick slice of toast before she went to grab her coat and her keys and drove to work.

I woke up at around ten just lazing around in bed for awhile at around half ten I decided to go into the kitchen to make myself a coffee. I saw a note from Zoe I decided to put water in the kettle and press the button to boil the kettle. I then read the letter. The letter said.

To Nick, I have left for work didn't want to wake you as you looked so peacefully asleep this morning, wish I could spend all day with you instead of work but that is not the case, take it easy today as we had a busy day yesterday. See you tonight when I get home from work Zo xx

I laughed slightly when I read the bit about her wanting to be with me instead of work. The kettle had boiled by this point so I poured myself some coffee and made myself some cereal before taking them back to my room and sitting on my bed eating them flicking the TV on. I had a relaxing morning and did a bit of research later in the afternoon and emailed Anton what I had found and asked if there was anything in particular he wanted me to look up for him.

Later that evening Zoe got home from work and neither of us could be bothered to cook so we just chucked something in the over. It was fish cakes with chips, we also did some peas with them. We then ate our dinner and Zoe told me about her day and asked me how my one was. After dinner we curled up on the sofa together watching TV. However neither of us were paying attention to the programme as we were kissing the whole way through it. I slipped my tounge into Zoe's mouth as I deepened the kiss. Zoe just wrapped her tounge round mine as we kissed only breaking apart for some air. When we eventually broke apart I put my arm round Zoe and she leaned into me and we watched some TV. We headed to bed around half ten as Zoe had work the next day and cuddled up with each other as we both went to sleep.

The next morning I woke up around ten in the morning, Zoe had already left for work. After being awake for about ten minutes I went to the toilet before heading into the kitchen and boil the kettle. I then made myself some cereal and went and ate in the lounge as I switched the TV on. After eating my breakfast I decided to relax for a bit before heading up for a shower and then putting my onsie on. I just found my onsie so relaxing to chill in. Once I had my onsie on me went back downstairs and relaxed in front of the TV for a bit.

After a while I switched my computer on and checked my emails. Anton Meyer had sent me a reply to my email so I got on with the research he had sent me. I did this for a couple of hours. I stopped for some lunch and then went back to it. At around 3 in the afternoon I started to feel a bit tired so I saved what research I had found. I emailed any useful stuff to Anton and then just relaxed in front of the TV. I soon shut my eyes and fell asleep.

Meanwhile in the ED it was a very hectic day. Zoe had been to a couple of meeting that day and helped out on the ED. She had been rushed of her feet all day and just couldn't wait to go home for a nice relaxing bath and a chilled out evening with Nick. Zoe had just sat down for the first time that day when she hadn't been in a meeting when Jeff and Norman brought a patient in. They gave her a short history as they headed for rhesus. Zoe called Rita and Tom to help her. Zoe ordered Rita to take the normal bloods as Tom and me did the primary serve.

Back at home I woke up around half four and felt much better. I decided to flick between the channels and started to watch a programme. I lay on the sofa watching this for awhile. I knew Zoe was finishing work around 7 and I decided I was going to make dinner that night. I had got the chicken wings out the freezer earlier that day so it had time to defrost so I could make roast dinner. At around six I decided to peel the potatoes, once I had peeled the potatoes I decided to ring the onion up. The onion was strong and made my eyes water. Once I had done this I put the onion on top of the potatoes and spiced it up and covered the potatoes with butter on the baking tray. I then put them in the hot oven. I then put the chicken wings in the baking tray and added the spices and sauce to it before putting it in the oven. I then started clearing up from making the potatoes and beef. I made sure the timer was on before going to sit in the lounge. When the oven beeped after half hour after the potatoes went on I then went and turned the potatoes over and added a bit more butter to it, so they could roast properly. I then put the timer back on for another half hour. I decided to see if Zoe had any candles so I could make it look romantic. I had to go searching through her cupboards and draws to find some, I knew she wouldn't mind me doing this.
