After discussing with Hale and Kenzi, it was decided that Kenzi would stay in Lauren's apartment at the complex for an added bit of security, and Bo and Lauren would use the safe house for another night. Hale had dropped Bo and Lauren off first, then headed back to drop Kenzi off and deal with holding Brun until they could figure out what would happen to him.

As soon as they made it through the door, Lauren headed to the kitchen to open a bottle of wine and quickly poured two glasses. Bo stood in the living room, her eyes never leaving the blond, and as soon as the wine was poured both women settled on the couch.

Lauren took a drink and put her glass down, turning to Bo. "Your curiosity is burning a hole in my chest," she said softly with a slight chuckle. Bo looked at her, nothing but concern in her eyes.

"What was that?" she whispered. " Your eyes looked like mine and you sucked his chi Lauren. Are you a succubus now? And how are you so calm about all of this?" Bo asked, tears starting to run down her face. Her brush with death, her fears over never getting to see the blonde again were starting to overwhelm her. And now to think she had turned Lauren in to the same monster she was, it was too much.

Lauren felt all of Bo's emotions – the fear, panic and sadness that were swirling in her lover - and she moved closer to her on the couch, wrapping her in a tight embrace. "It's okay, Bo," she soothed. "We are both here alive and together. Remember, I had my own breakdown a few days ago. I think the things I came to terms with then are helping me now….believe me, I am not as calm as I look."

Bo buried her head in Lauren's shoulder as she tried to get control back of her emotions. When she was at a calmer point, she leaned back and looked into Lauren's eyes. "Are you a succubus?"

Lauren sighed, making sure to keep eye contact with Bo so she would stay calm. "I don't think so. I was able to do some more research while you were gone. I think I have just inherited your abilities, but I don't think the mating has changed *what* I am. I can take other people's chi, but I don't need it to live like you do. And honestly, I didn't even know I could do that until it happened. When he shoved me, something snapped and it was like instinct took over."

"As you were feeding from him, I could feel myself getting stronger, like the chi you were taking was feeding me. It wasn't as strong as if I had taken it myself, but it was still pretty intense."

Lauren's eyes got wide at Bo's revelation and tears started to form in her eyes. Bo, not understanding her reaction reached over to wipe them away, concern evident. "Lauren, what's wrong?"

Lauren smiled and took Bo's hand in hers. "Nothing is wrong, these are actually happy tears." She continued when Bo looked at her perplexed. "Bo, one of my biggest insecurities has always been that I wasn't able to give you what you needed to survive, that you would always need to turn to others for that. But now…. now not only can I help feed you, but god forbid something were to happen like this again, I know I can help heal you even if you can't help yourself."

"Lauren, you know that makes me happy, beyond belief. But you also need to know that I love you for who you are, not what you can do for me. I have never felt as alive and complete as I do when I am with you. You fill my heart with love, you make me proud of myself. I know the books say you are my Wanderer, but Lauren that was me before I met you and Kenzi. I had no home, no family and I could never stay in one place more than a few weeks. And now I have more than I could ever have dreamed of. I have a home, with you. YOU are my home, Lauren."

Lauren had no words so she just wrapped Bo up her arms, tears falling down her cheeks. She knew exactly what Bo was feeling, because even though she had lived in the same place for years, it wasn't really home until she met Bo.

Now they were both home.
